so i was on Pinterest and i found this duo that is kinda similar to the cuttlefish duo (coikals) is there any information about these two girls? they kinda look like a k pop or j pop duo

i'm not so sure how many of you are old enough to really remember the cartoon hi-hi-color coikals, but it did have a chokehold on me for the brief period of time that it was on air while i was a preteen. rewatching it now the plots of the episodes run the gamut of mediocre to kind of bad with stuff that didn't age well, but the little live action bits of the band hanging out are really cute and the music is excellent in the episodes where they play their actual songs

the coikals didn't voice the cartoon versions of themselves, but craig cuttlefish did voice their manager, and callie and marie of the squid sisters did voices for most of the little kids that showed up as background characters. not everyone tends to know about it along with their voice acting roles in other shows around that time since they were credited under pseudonymous last names when they were young
