After brushing his teeth, he went to the kitchen to grab a water bottle and turn off the lights; as he scrolled on Instagram, Cody’s page appeared on his feed, and he liked some of the recent posts. Cody was just about to climb into bed when his phone vibrated; seeing the notification, he opened Instagram and saw that Dylan had liked some posts. He smiled before clicking on his profile and following him back. Dylan almost choked on his water when he saw that Cody was following him. After staring at it for a few minutes, Dylan got a DM request from Cody. He quickly accepted it and watched Cody type the first message. 

“What are you still doing up?”

Dylan scoffed with a smile, “I could be asking you the same thing.” 

“That’s fair. Did you get home okay?”

Dylan blushed. “Yeah, my friends dropped me off.”

“That’s good. I didn’t stay long after you left.”

Dylan smirked. “Did you miss me?”

Cody blushed. “Would it be wrong to say yes?”

“Not at all.”

“Did you miss me too?”

“Maybe a little bit.”

Cody blushed. “I’m just glad you’re okay.”

“Well, I have you to thank for that. I still want to repay you.”

“I know. Just think about it for a few days.” 

“I will.” He paused. “I added your number.” 

“Text me so I can save yours.”

“Okay.”

Dylan blushed as he went into messages and texted Cody.

“Hello 🙃. ” 

Cody blushed as he responded, “Hello to you too, Dylan. You’re such a goofball.”

Dylan teased, “I try.”

Cody chuckled as he saved Dylan’s contact as “Dylan 💙.” Dylan blushed as he changed Cody’s contact to “Cody 💚."

Half of her body was made up of shadows, still steadily flaking away, she'd been made a servant that tended to the Fosters partially to guilt him, Toby and Mallisia for being the ones to kidnap her for their "master". "How is your brother and sister-in-law...?"

Cody, having been given automail replacements for his missing lower jaw, left arm and right leg, just waved to the servant. He couldn't say much, but through hand gestures he could easily speak to his servant. Upon hearing her ask about Toby and Mallisia he gave a quick thumbs-up, as if to state that they were well. Aside from Toby and Mallisia, he was the only one in the Slender Mansion to actually treat the rabbit with full respect.
