Maybe when Blue Lock comes back, then sure.

i wanna say its been over a year at least since i watched code geass and i still cannot get over how bad that last arc was like holy shit the show already wasn’t great but how do you fumble the ending of your show that hard its incredible

HERE IS WHY SHIRLULU IS A LEGITIMATE SHIP -PART 1

Warning: I'm not a writer and English is not my native language. So kindly bare it or DM me about it. Criticism is welcomed not hate.

I always wanted to post a detailed analysis of  Shirley X Lelouch  relationship and will post in parts due to Tumblr restricted on images. 

Fun fact- I started watching Code Geass with all the spoilers (deaths) and was fully expecting to be part of the Cclulu or Kalulu fanbase (because they are popular), but as I continued watching, I couldn't understand why Shirlulu had a minor fanbase and was ignored when their feelings were so obvious. Needless to say I became a Shirlulu shipper.

Let's start -

Shirley and Lelouch loved each other.

While Shirley's feeling are so obvious.

Lelouch's feelings are hinted throughout the series (both direct and subtle hints), which are often ignored as filler or brushed off as "guilt" for killing her father (which is not the case). 

There are people who dislike Shirley just because she is not "useful" like other girls. Let me tell you it's called a business deal and not love if you are going to choose a person based on their "usefulness." 

Let's start with Direct hints

R1 Stage 14 -

although the whole episode is dedicated to Shirlulu and their relationship. I'm focusing  only on the bits right now.

Lelouch, being dense when it comes to love, didn't realize his feelings until he lost her. Lelouch really cherished her presence in his life.

When I first watched CG , I really didn't expect that Lelouch would say such a romantic line especially for Shirley ( the ship so unpopular) and I repeat NO ONE would say this for a platonic friendship.

I was suspicious of Lelouch's feelings but this episode made it crystal clear that's its mutual , it's just Lelouch didn't realize it before.

Honestly, I would love to see them bicker and laugh it off after patching up

R1 Stage 12 & 14 -

IIrc, Shirley is the only girl whom Lelouch kissed back.

Personally I don't think he kissed her back due to guilt over killing her father but more like doing anything he could to comfort her.

He could have kissed Kallen if guilt was the reason but he only let her kiss him.

R1 Stage 14 -

"Any sin you commit is mine to bear" is the love language of Lelouch. If we consider Lelouch's personality.

He is not type to buy flowers and chocolates and he is the type who would do everything in power to hide the evidence of murder and going far to even take the blame for it.

Ranked as one of the best anime hugs and only hugging scene in code geass series. The way Lelouch pulls her to hug is everything

R2 Stage 12 -

Shirley felt Lelouch was lying about his feelings for her. His immediate response was a hard " No". Once he realized what he blurted out he tried to cover it up.

The he reason why he played innocent was because he is too busy and cannot afford to be in a relationship. He doesn't want to be neglectful boyfriend to her because doesn't deserve it.

This alone should be a proof that Shirley's feeling are reciprocated.

It's because of his feelings he wants to keep her at distance so that is safe.

R2 Stage 24 -

Lelouch was arguing with Schneizel about how people struggle against sadness yet still seek the future.

The first scene that played was Shirley's death, symbolizing that Lelouch's struggle against sadness was Shirley's death and how he still he seeks a future.

R2 Stage 25 -

Lelouch was dying, the first person that came to his mind was Shirley (after it was just chronological order S2-S1), and his last being his childhood with Suzaku and Nunnally. Special people in Lelouch's life

Many people chose to ignore this moment but this one is undeniable proof that Lelouch never moved on from Shirley

01. pre-main verse : follows cc's journey after stepping down from the geass order and before clovis ordered her capture. timeline includes : verifying marianne's children safety and encountering mao. multiple contracts are likely established during this period, due to cc becoming even more desperate in finding someone who can fulfill her wish. relationship with the order has become nonexistent due to vv usurping her leadership and relocating the order elsewhere. nevertheless, she does enjoy some semblance of freedom and is still regarded highly as a geass master by those familiar with the order.

02. director of the geass order : verse takes place prior to marianne's death, and cc's leadership remains unchallenged by vv. a majority of the order's research relied heavily on cc's code, and in exchange cc sought for a way to end her immortality. under her leadership, the order was able to utilise the thought elevator and further expand their research onto c's world. ironically c's world was also named after c.c. due to her tremendous contribution in geass research.

03. black rebellion : takes place during s1 of the series, with some divergences taken into account.

04. zero's requiem : takes place during the end of s2, with again some personal divergences taken into consideration.

05. before immortality : this verse follows cc before she was given the code. from slave girl to the most beloved child in the village, celyn was blessed with the geass of love. considered the aphrodite in a small village between wales and england, celyn life has changed overnight and since then her power as a geass user grows stronger. unlike her modern self, celyn is notably more shy, hesitant, and timid with her only true friend being the nun who saved her.

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

I mean the easy answer is Zoscar XD So I'll do a different one, I really liked the relationship between Zolf and Sasha in s1/s2 since it really helped shape the both of them. Also Hamid and Azu were just so cute by the end. When Bryn used Lucky Halfling to save Azu, it was just perfect.

Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

Oh god I've abandoned so many. Mostly anime ones I was super in to when they came ouy. The one I actually decided to abandon was Code Geass. Jesus fucking christ those shippers were nearly the death of me. I'm so glad tumblr didn't exist during that shows original run cuz anime forums were awful. CC vs Suzuka vs Karin vs anyone else Lelouch could possibly end up with....I couldn't enjoy the fandom anymore between s1 and s2.

G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?

My OTP changes a lot, I usually don't have anything super original, though I was one of the few people who shipped Hibari Kyouya and Chrome Dokura (1896) in KHR and because god knows het ships can't exist in anime (do you see my eyes rolling), me and others got hate for it which was stupid cuz I also shipped Mukuro/Hibari/Chrome (691896) and Mukuro/Hibari (6918) and Hibari with EVERYONE, he was the fandom bicycle for that show (well him and Tsuna).

I don't remember my first OTP though mostly cuz I didn't really get into shipping until I started watching anime.

Currently OTP is obviously Zoscar <3
