Fluff + Slight Angst | Gojo x GN!Reader Kikufuku
SUMMARY Going to get food everyday with Gojo bc he loves trying new places and he used to do it sm with Geto and Shoko ):
CONTENT Mostly fluff, some angst, gender neutral reader, implied crush, lots of mentions of food, ALL CHARACTERS ARE 18+
AUTHOUR NOTES GUESS WHO'S BACK FROM ROTTING DURING EXAMSSSSSS TAKE THIS DRAFT I FINISHED WHILE I WORK ON MY REQUESTS HEHEHEHEHEHE I WILL BE POSTING ALL MY STUFF SLOWLY MEHEEHEHHE Note that I can’t remember where I got this idea from (it's been sitting in a document for months and I only just got around to it) but I might've read it from somewhere (maybe a tiktok?) please lmk so I can give credit if this is the case!
WORD COUNT: 477
Satoru is your typical happy go lucky guy on the outside. He’s always walking around as if there’s not a single thought running through his mind. He’ll buy his favorite mochi while all the passersby swoon at his handsome self. You met the man not more than a few months ago when you joined Jujutsu High as a fellow staff member and you’ve gotten quite close. He’d always ask you if you wanted to get food after work and most of the time you'd say yes. But, for the first few weeks, sometimes you’d be busy or not feeling up to going out to dinner with your co-worker you just met. That quickly changed though.
Satoru gets quite lonely when you aren’t there with him and you've noticed after getting to know him. He's not anything he shows on the outside. He’s alone. He’s suffering. But he’s still so sweet. A month or 2 after meeting him, you’ve made it a mission to always get food with him even if you’re busy. If it’s not in person, you’re at the very least video or audio calling him so he can show you the food and talk to you while you both eat. Gojo loves trying new places because it feels refreshing. It makes him feel young again and you support it because you know his youth was robbed from him. You know that he used to get food everyday with Suguru and Shoko because he told you about it. You know he misses them by the way he talks about it and he knows you know. But, ignorance is bliss right? You're both just trying to live ignorantly happily while simultaneously healing from your respective pasts. What else could you really do?
Yesterday was takoyaki and Thai milk tea for dessert. Today was coconut curry and ice cream filled taiyaki. Tomorrow, Satoru is thinking Beijing style duck or maybe K-BBQ? Carbonara? Peri Peri Chicken? Enchiladas? Shawarma??? You always laugh when he goes on a tangent of what he wants to eat and try with you. You tease him by adding more options to the list and he clenches his fists dramatically and squeezes his eyes shut under his blindfold while whining that he can’t pick and that there’s too much good food. You occasionally have to reassure him that you have time and that you’re not going anywhere. You never fail to notice the blush on his ears when you soothe him like that and he never fails to see your fidgety hands as you say the gentle words to him. He feels so lucky to have your company and you can confidently say the same, in your thoughts of course. You wouldn’t tell him that out loud and he also finds himself too scared to try. At least, not yet. Maybe one day, over some kikufuku.

Twisted Teas
I don’t know a lot about tea, only that I usually like it iced and sweet, a casualty of growing up in the south. But I’ve been wanting to learn more about it, especially blends. I found this cool website, Adagio Teas, that have a bunch of fan made fandom blends for a ton of different books, movies, video games, and tv shows (#notsponsored). So I thought I would try my hand at making teas for the Twisted Wonderland cast. I tried to go off vibes, color schemes, and their favorite food. Hopefully my train of thought makes sense. If anyone wants to actually try any of these let me know how they taste.

its defo not one word but I thought about this and banged it out in like fifteen minutes pls enjoy. no content warning just one naughty naughty word and terrible cooking (?) skills. 1.2k words
ty @underappreciatedtomato for the (two) word!
ice cream
“This is exactly what I needed.” Juliet mused aloud, sighing contently and readjusting how she lay on her lounge chair. There was a hum of agreement from Bliss who was reading a book to Angels right. Angel was in the middle of them and had been simply relaxing with her eyes closed. They had all been in the pool a few hours before and were now taking the time to dry off.
It was late August, and they were currently taking residence in a private villa on the northern coast of Italy. When three members of your six-person friend group are multimillionaires, you take advantage of that at any change you get.
The boys had been kind enough to fork out for the trip, using it as their vacation time away from the hustle and bustle of their fifth album recording. The three of them had left their phones with Cecily and had dedicated themselves to relaxing completely.
Which had led them to, at twenty-two years of age, playing a frankly disturbingly put-together game of mermaids.
Angel had laughed at first, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves greatly. At least they were happy. Even Rowan was playing along; his mermaid apparently caught in a fishers net. Jimmy was trying his best to 'free' him.
“I cannot believe that exactly four years ago today, Jimmy was getting on that train to Kent with some random fangirl.” Bliss said mindlessly, putting her book down and sitting up. “Now he's flapping about in a pool while said crazy stalker fan girl watches him."
Juliet snorted, and Angel slapped them both on the arm. “You're literally on holiday with your ex-boyfriend, four years after breaking up.” Bliss mocked hurt, and Juliet laughed. “Glass house, much?"
"Look, when said ex-boyfriend is paying for said holiday, it doesn't count as a lapse in dignity. It's economics, really."
As they continued with their good-natured teasing, they failed to notice as the three stars in the pool migrated back to join them at the seats. They only noticed when Lister crept up behind Juliet's chair and shook his head, his long hair splaying water all over her and the others.
“Ugh, you’re like a dog!” She called after him as he retreated inside, laughter echoing behind him as it bounced off the white marble walls.
Jimmy took his seat next to Angel, sipping on his alcohol-free mimosa that Lister had made for them all earlier. “How is it?” she asked, motioning down to his drink as she took a moment to adjust her waterproof hijab.
“Terrible.” The singer mumbled quietly, but he was still drinking from the novelty straw Lister had added to all of their glasses. Jimmy's was blue and bended a truly ludircus amount of times. “But he was so proud of it. I don't have the heart to tell him."
“When he wasn’t looking, I put mine in the flowers.” Bliss admitted.
“I just waited till he had drunk a little of his and kept topping it up with mine.” Juliet added. Rowan shook his head at them, but Angel had seen the face he had pulled when taking his first sip. "Where is he off to anyway?”
“He said something about ice cream when we were in the pool.” Jimmy's words were met with groans.
“Mate, I can’t be bothered going out for ice cream just now.” Rowan grumbled. “I just want to lie down and sleep for, like, two years."
“Thats understandable.” Juliet nodded sympathetically, but it turned cheeky quickly. “Playing mermaids for three hours really takes it out of you."
The group beside Rowan laughed, with Jimmy patting him on the shoulder.
A call for them inside the holiday home alerted them, and soon they all meandered into the large kitchen. There were six bowls set out on the spacious kitchen island, filled with scoops of ice cream and spoons. The ice treat was white, so Angel had to assume it was vanilla, coconut, or something of that ilk.
There were various toppings set out on the island, such as chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and even a packet of Italian-brand Flakes. Lister stood on the other side of the counter, arms wide open, to present his hard work. His face was flushed a lively red and split in a grin. His hair was still wet and was curling where it fell against his neck, still missing his shirt.
“Where on earth did you get this? I thought we ran out of ice cream yesterday." Jimmy asked as he picked up the bowl closest to him.
“I made it!” The excitement in his voice amused Angel to no end, and she too helped herself to a bowl and a spoon.
“When on earth did you make ice cream from scratch?” Rowan asked skeptically.
“Last night. It doesn’t matter; quick, I haven’t tried it yet."
The whisper of ‘so that's where he went’ from Jimmy went unheard as everyone not already holding a bowl picked one. Bliss was the first to take a bite, and her facial expressions revealed nothing of her thoughts as she scooped one large spoonful into her mouth.
Angel followed soon after and realised why.
It was awful.
Truly disgusting.
Somehow Lister Bird had managed to make not only god awful mimosas but also god awful ice cream. Angel had no idea how it tasted this bad. It was salty and tasted distinctly of egg.
Everyone had taken their own spoonful at this point, but Angel could see that no one had swallowed, everyone trying to find a way out of this that wouldn’t upset Lister. He still had a huge grin as he took a spoonful of his own.
It was in his mouth for barely a second before he spun around and spat it into the sink behind him. That seemed like permission for everyone else to hack up the disgusting, cold mixture.
“What the fuck!” Lister cried as he wiped his mouth, trying to cup water in his hands to wash his mouth out. Bliss had taken the chocolate sauce in her hands and was squirting it directly into her hands, with Rowan begging for some after her.
“The reccepie said eggs! And sugar!” Lister cried as he opened the cupboard and found the ingredients he’d used. When he found the sugar bag, he set it on the counter and squinted at the writing. Not that he’d be able to read it; it was in Italian.
Jimmy rounded the counter and also bent down to be eye level with the bag.
"Lister, that's salt!"
“What!?” The drummer opened the crudely closed bag and took a pinch of the white grains, bringing it to his mouth and licking it off. He gagged and went for more water. It would appear that Jimmy was right.
With their bowls cleaned and their tastebuds no longer lingering with salty egg ice cream, they settled on some of the store-bought snacks. Lister was pouting, even though they tried to reassure him that it wasn’t that bad. it was
“At least my mimosas were good.” Jimmy rubbed his back comfortingly. Angel could see Rowan go to speak and didn't have the time to stop him.
“Well, actually…”

Do you believe you’ve met your soulmate or one of them?: I can confidently say I have.
When did you last have grape juice?: Last weekend I made a delicious batch of "faux champagne" with ginger ale, club soda, white grape juice, and grenadine. It was a hit!
Have you learned anything today?: Every day's a learning opportunity, isn't it?
Have you been to any parties here recently?: Well, it wasn't "here" but I went to a Galentine's day party last weekend. It was a blast!
Are you good at reading body language?: Honestly, not really. I see what I want to see. Or rather, what my anxiety wants me to see.
How many hours of sleep did you get last night?: 7ish maybe?
What were the last 3 emojis you used?: Pink heart, heart eyes face, and a donut. Boy, if that doesn't sum me up entirely...
Is it currently warm where you live?: It's been much warmer than a typical February. Or at least it was 'til today.
Do you use Facebook?: Yeah, kind of obsessively.
Do you like the smell of coconut?: I went through a major coconut lotion & perfume phase but I overdid it (go figure) and now I have a hard time stomaching it.
Do you prefer longer or short socks?: Short, if any at all.
What size shoe do you wear?: 9
Chocolate or Vanilla ice cream?: Twist!
Do you or anyone you know have sleep apnea?: I know a few people
Where is your favorite place to be?: These days it's my bed with the lights turned off and some sort of "ambient" scene playing on my TV while I read my Kindle. Bonus pints if a candle's lit. It's bliss.
How many times have you fallen in the past year?: Too many.
Do you like to leave your window open at night or do you use a fan?: I love leaving the windows open when we can. But I still use a fan for white noise.
Is there a celebrity you dislike for no reason other than they annoy you?: Selena Gomez. I can't stand her but I can't provide any justification.
If you find a spider in your home, do you set it free or kill it?: I let 'em hang out and sometimes even name them.
Would you say you’re addicted to social media?: Yep.
How many pets have you had in your lifetime?: 3 bunnies.
Do you sunburned easy?: Within seconds!
Of all the houses you’ve lived in, which was your favorite?: I guess my current apartment.
Do you or would you ever use online dating?: I had a few brief stints on OkCupid and Tinder. It was a bad idea every time...
What do you wish you could get paid for?: Sleeping? Shopping? Eating pizza?
What did you get into trouble for as a kid?: Not much, honestly. I got up to typical mischief once in a while but I was a rule-follower for the most part.
What’s something good that has happened here recently?: I got a promotion!
Do you remember the first time you’ve ever driven a car? How did that go?: Yeah.
Who did you last say “I love you” to?: Glenn.
When did you last feel beautiful?: Yesterday I had a little "moment."
Are you currently frustrated over something?: Yeah. Our wedding photographer hasn't gotten back to me regarding the status of our photos and I'm livid. And panicked.
Would you ever like to travel to Ireland? Or have you ever been?: I'd love to someday.
Have you ever had a yard sale?: I don't think so.
Do you enjoy going to yard sales or garage sales?: Not particularly.
Do you know someone with a big ego?: Yeah.
What color is your most used blanket?: It *was* white once upon a time but it's much more gray these days.
Does it annoy you when people type in all caps?: I guess so?
Do you like gummy bears?: Love 'em.
Where is your favorite place to grocery shop?: Wegmans or Aldi.
Have any plans for the day?: It's Friday! Kathleen's picking me up in a little bit and then we're gonna go grab food and have a sleepover.

Going to Costco with Colin Shea, Ransom Drysdale, and Andy Barber
Going to Costco with Colin Shea
It's that time of the month.
Eva and Colin need to go to Costco.
Eva bring Harper along, who sleeps the entire time in her infant seat in the huge grocery cart.
Colin shows the greeter your membership card.
Colin and Eva both enter the store, and immediately stop at the front display of pastry goods.
Eva puts the sour cream cake in the cart. It's only $7.99
Colin and Eva only came here for diapers, bottled water, seltzer water, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, and baby wipes.
Eva wrote everything on a list.
The last time, Colin and Eva spent WAY too much because they both forgot the list.
Colin and Eva get some kibble for Dickens, along with several chew toys, and some Milkbones.
Eva gets the diapers and the waters, and the baby wipes.
Colin also gets the toilet paper, the dishwasher pods, along with two packs of those huge muffins.
Eva gets blueberry and the coffee cake ones.
Colin and Eva also get some jalepeno cornbread.
Colin is going to make chili tonight.
Eva feels that this is a bad idea.
Has she seen this man cook?
He almost burned the house down on their second anniversary as a couple.
Eva decides to help Colin with what she can.
Colin also decides to get burgers, chicken nuggets, some frozen pizza that is by Motor City Pizza Co.
Along with some of those cheese sticks.
Harper screams, and Eva takes her to the lactation room.
Eva breast feeds Harper, and she's now happy as a clam.
Colin also gets some of those organic oatmeal cookie bites that has coconut in it.
Colin has also thrown in those post-natal gummies for Eva.
Eva weren't expecting it, but he does that.
He pays for the items, and it totals well over $100.
Afterwards, Eva and Colin both get a slice of pizza, some water.
For dessert, Colin and Eva both get the hot fudge sundaes.
Colin and Eva make it home.
Colin and Eva spend the afternoon making chili, while both Colin and Eva play and care for Harper.
Dickens never leaves Harper's side, and barks when she cries for something.
Eva smiles and kiss Colin lovingly.
Eva feels lucky that she married Colin.
It's the perfect sense of domestic bliss.
Going to Costco with Ransom Drysdale
You and Ransom need to make a Costco run.
The twins go through diapers and wipes like they're going out of style.
You both didn't realize that you would need to buy double of everything.
Your dad gifted you a Costco membership, so you both could buy diapers, wipes, and baby food and baby formula in bulk.
Ransom commented on how much cheaper buying in bulk was.
This is the trust fund playboy we're talking about!
You get those Biscoff cookies for him, because they're his favorites.
Along with your famous chocolate chip cookies that you make from scratch.
You need one of those mobility scooters because they make the task of shopping easier for you.
You often get dirty looks when you use the scooter, but those people don't know what's it's like living with a chronic illness.
Not all illnesses are visible. Not all disabilities are visible.
Ransom puts the Harlan and Katherine in one of the giant carts in their infant seats.
You get the diapers and the wipes, and Ransom also gets you those chocolate cupcakes that you like.
Along with that peanut butter pie you both have your eye on.
He also gets bottled water, seltzer water, toilet paper, and a giant thing of Drumsticks.
You both love Drumsticks, and it's been forever since you actually had an ice cream cone.
With your MS, it's often made it hard to enjoy things, and ice cream cones are one of the few things that you can still enjoy.
Ransom puts some baby clothes in the cart.
He didn't realize that you could find a lot of designer clothes at Costco.
He puts in a cute red and gold dress for Katherine, and a cute black suit for Harlan.
Along with some cute khakis and cute jeans for Harlan, and a cute denim skirt and a cute khaki skirt for Katherine.
Those outfits will be worn for the first Christmas photos, and you agree that they will look cute in them...but Ransom mistakenly put in the newborn size.
You dig through the sizes, and get some that are a few sizes bigger.
The twins will have grown a bit by then, and you explain to Ransom why you have to get baby clothes in larger sizes.
The twins will grow into them.
Ransom pays for the items, and is actually surprised at the total.
He would have paid three times more if you had gotten the same items at the fancy grocery store, the fancy baby store, and at the upscale mall.
Did I mention this is the trust fund playboy we're talking about.
The baby clothes and diapers are getting bought at Costco from now on.
He was amazed at how cheaper everything was.
You explain that getting the basics here is cheaper than anywhere else, because of the cost per item, which is already on the signs.
Ransom and you get the hot dog meal, and split it, along with churros for dessert.
Ransom had always wanted to try a churro, but never got the chance to growing up.
He realizes that the food doesn't have to be fancy.
He realizes that spending time with you and the twins is important, and taking care of you is also important.
He looks at with love and in awe, and that's not going to change.
Going to Costco with Andy Barber
You and Andy had only been dating for a year and a half, and had recently became engaged.
You two just bought a house, and were making a Costco run for the basics.
He proposed to you when he took you on a date night he planned.
After his divorce, and the death of his ex-wife and his son, he never thought he would find happiness again.
He never thought he would find love again.
He was wrong.
He met you, and you had started your job at a doctor's office.
You often stop at the local coffee place, and that's where you met Andy.
You were both getting coffee, and you two struck up a conversation.
You exchanged contact info, and your first date wasn't soon after.
You both get the toilet paper, the bottled water, the seltzer water, along with the pop-both regular and diet.
You also get the alcohol, the beer and the wine.
You also get the chips, and they have those Great Lake Cherry Barbecue chips that you love, so you buy two bags.
You both were hosting a barbecue at your house for the fourth of July.
You realize that the holiday also is close to Andy's birthday, so you place an order for one of those giant birthday cakes.
A few days later, the cake is ready, and you go to pick it up.
You have another surprise for Andy, but that needs to wait.
Andy and you both pay for the items, making sure to place each item in one of those giant carts.
The smell of the pizza from the food court is inviting, and you and Andy each get a slice.
Along with those hot fudge sundaes.
Shopping at Costco will be even more fun from now on.

👙SylvaMel or 🍦EmilManeki
You got it!!
(featuring Adore aka @terrovaniadorm's girlie)
👙: our muses go the pool
A sigh left Sylva's lips as the taste of coconut tingled on her tongue. Sipping from her glass, the palm trees above her tinted shades swaying in the light breeze as she placed her drink onto the small table beside her. Stretching her arms to the sky and arching her back before cozying into the cool plastic lounge chair. This was the life. Just doing nothing, being warmed by the sun and listening to the splashing of water. She smiled at the last bit as Adore squealed, trying to dive for the striped ball only for it to fall into the deeper half of the pool. "That's three wins!!" Melanie cheered while bouncing with joy as the pink haired girl smiled, swimming out to retrieve the ball. "You're getting pretty good Mel!!" She said, grabbing the ball while Sylva watched them. Seeing her girlfriends enjoy the cool water and summer breeze brought a smile to her face, they were so cute when they were giggling and having fun. As the next match started though she couldn't help but peek. Just a little. Wasn't her fault that she had two beautiful girls with model bodies as her partners. Adore in her sweet polka dot red frilly two piece and Melanie in a baby blue cupcake printed bikini. Jumping around in the water, splashing each other, having a grand ass with a front row seat to their cute soft- "Sylva!! You wanna play!!" The millionaire teen blinked as the angel waved to her with the princess smiling sweetly. A smile spread across her face. "I'll play the winner."
🍦: our muses go the nearest ice cream parlor
Pain. Agony. This truly is hell on Earth. Emil wanted nothing more than to turn himself into a block of ice and not be in this awful awful heat anymore. He sighs, waiting under the fabric shop as the sun sweltered down. Why did he think it was a good idea to wear a vest? Everyone else seemed to be bothered by the heat too, waving hands in faces and mothers wiping sunscreen onto the little ones faces. He could go inside to just look around but Maneki did ask him nicely if he could wait outside. Something about a gift but if she didn't come out soon he might be a puddle on the stone road. So he waited, hoping she would be done until... "Have a wonderful day!!" Thank the seven. Maneki stood there in all her cute glory. She looked over to see Emil smile....and then slightly fall over. "Emi!!! Are you ok?" She fretted, cupping his face in her hands, ah.......bliss. "I'm ok. Just......hot." he mumbled as she huffed. "You could have came inside.....but don't worry! I know just the thing!" The catgirl then took his good hand and lead him into town, swerving pass people and a small flock of pigeons before he saw a brightly colored shop. Windows decorated with frozen treats as people sat around chatting and laughing. A bell rang as Maneki lead him inside before digging into her cat paw bag. Emil looked at the board, there was so many flavors.......and you can put ice cream in a taco shell? "The banana split is really good. How about we share one, I can pay!!" She smiled as he blushed. She's going to be the end of him......

Today has felt like the first true spring day and I was not ready for the huge surge of dopamine from the sunshine! Nevertheless, it powered me through and for that I am grateful.
Unfortunately, the cold I caught from my mother lingers but I was all too happy to begin my morning with half a teaspoon of honey to appease my claggy throat. I then welcomed in the morning with a creamy cup of tea with soya milk and researched coding courses until my empty teacup obliged me to get on with my half hour power flow with ‘Yoga with Allie Van Fossen’ on YouTube - a recent and golden find. After that, I showered with my ‘toasted marshmallow’ shower gel and put on a burgundy dress without fear of the cold. I made a breakfast I crave every time I see a ‘that girl’ post online - scrambled eggs on avocado toast - and felt in total bliss while I munched. I then completed half of my number theory exercises while digesting.
Mum and I had fun while grocery shopping this morning and we rounded off the trip with a coconut latte - the caffeine buzz strengthened while I was putting the shopping away until it was undeniably charged and ready for a jog. I haven’t been jogging while it has been cold but this is feeling so good. I need to remember that If We Ever Meet Again by Katy Perry and Timberland is a great song to run to.
Coming home, I did some strength work organised by a beginners workout plan I found on pinterest and had to stop for a second because I was getting so lost in the moment and probably not showing good form. Thankfully, I had a conversation with my brother and afterwards calmed down tremendously... and we did a few squats together. Timmon, you’re the best.
By the time I’d finished, my butternut squash was ready so I made a salad of that and accompanied it with a blueberry cheesecake smoothie using some powder from The Protein Works. It was quite tangy and grainy - if anyone has any suggestions to improve this, I’d be forever grateful.
Following this, I finished number theory and wrote up one of the homework questions but this took a while and afterwards I felt rather drained. I had just enough time to do a 15 minute yoga sequence from Yoga With Kassandra (which was supposed to be for bedtime but was the perfect remedy for my hunched shoulders and reeling mind) before my mum returned from her long afternoon. I was proud of my mum when she said that she still wanted to go for a walk with our dogs to enjoy the beautiful evening.
After that, I cooked. I should have definitely taken a picture before I started munching but whoops... I should have definitely cooked the cod loin with more seasoning and for slightly less time but the baby corn and potatoes really pleased me. I don’t know why I rustled a cup of strawberries, mango, and vanilla ice cream up afterwards... If there was one thing which would improve today, it would be to eliminate the dessert and have a hug from my boyfriend but here I am without boyfriend and containing fruit... I did do some logic puzzles and write this post, though, and I am about to do some prebed skincare so life goes on.

Tropical Bliss Pound Cake 🍍🥥
Tropical Bliss Pound Cake 🍍🥥 Dreaming of a getaway? Why not bring the tropics to your kitchen with this irresistibly moist and flavorful pound cake? With the perfect blend of pineapple and coconut, it's like a mini vacation in every bite! Ingredients: For the Pound Cake: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 2 cups granulated sugar 4 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ tsp coconut extract (optional) ½ cup coconut milk (or whole milk) 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut For the Glaze: 1 ½ cups powdered sugar 2 tbsp pineapple juice 2 tbsp coconut milk (or regular milk) ½ tsp vanilla extract Toasted coconut for garnish (optional) Instructions:
Make the Pound Cake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan or loaf pan. Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Add eggs and flavoring: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, add vanilla extract and coconut extract (if using). Stir in coconut milk and pineapple: Combine until the mixture is smooth. Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix! Fold in shredded coconut for an extra tropical touch. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the top is browning too quickly, cover with foil during the last 10-15 minutes. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Make the Glaze: Mix the glaze: In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust with more pineapple juice or milk for desired consistency.
Glaze the Cake: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake, letting it run down the sides for a beautiful finish. Garnish with toasted coconut on top for extra flavor and a little crunch.
Serve: Slice into this tropical delight and enjoy its buttery goodness! Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea, or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat. Let the flavors of pineapple and coconut whisk you away to paradise! 🌴
