Maid Monday, the sub-series where I post and rate maid designs.

Today, Cocoa from Goddess of Victory Nikke.

I've mostly been looking at western/Victorian maid style, so I think I'm gonna try looking at some other styles.

Cocoa is leaning more towards Gothic/Lolita style maid, which is actually my favorite. I'm a sucker for Gothic aesthetic. Not goth, Gothic.

Nikke has some nice variety for their maids, and they're all really good so expect more at some point. Cocoa is a bit more reserved, mostly black colors, but the detail work gives it a lot of depth. Previously I said I prefer dark blue over black uniforms, but that's only when the uniform is flat. Black is a hard color to get right without looking flat, and Cocoa has a ton of subtle texture detail especially in the skirt that makes it work. Also ruffles, can't go wrong with ruffles.

I also really like Cocoarella. I'm always tourn on whether to count accessories as part of the uniform, but I think this time it counts as it feels more like an extension of Cocoa as a maid, as opposed to just a maid with a sword taped on.

Finally pink and black never not looks good, so probably Uniform tier, maybe high dress tier.

Saw someone else do this so here you go, Nikke tier list.

Quick note: this isn’t a waifu tier list so much as it is “how much I enjoy the character”. I would let Viper punt me over a fence but Cocoa is in the same tier because she makes me laugh whenever she pulls out the ketchup bottle. Also Emma’s face bro, it’s so uncanny. Finally, Tove would be up multiple tiers if it weren’t for that weird ass thong??? Girl that goes UNDER ur suit
