Today's the day, you guys. My brave girl is finally having her cochlear implant surgery and should be able to hear within a month or so after this. Vada & Brad are sleeping peacefully at the moment but today's going to be really hard for all of us and Vada doesn't have a clue this is all really happening so that's the hardest part. We can only hope we're making the right decision for our daughter but I've worked so hard to get us here and I'm comfortable with it. I trust these doctors & the surgeon wholeheartedly but fear will always remain when it's your own baby.
