Proper medicine storage and disposal are crucial for maintaining medication effectiveness and ensuring safety. Store medicines in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and keep them out of reach of children. For disposal, follow local guidelines or use designated take-back programs to prevent environmental contamination and misuse.

How Your Pet Can Benefit from Newport Beach Compounding Pharmacy?
A loving pet deserves to get the same level of care that one expects for themselves. In contrast to this notion, many veterinarians recommend tailor-made medicine to fulfill pet medicinal needs. In the case of the animal, one-size-fits-all doesn’t work in a subtle manner. Consequently, compounding pharmacies become the only viable solution to deliver the right amount of dosage without causing the risk.
At Newport Coast Pharmacy, our center has dedicated their lifespan to the creation of compounding drugs as per individual pet needs. Through immense experience and expertise, our center has gone beyond offering traditional methods of handling pet care. From daily medication to solutions for challenging problems, we personally ensure that owners get the right medication for their loving pet.
Some of the unforeseen benefits of compounding pharmacies are:
(a) Compounding Pharmacy is good for Allergic Pets.
If your pet is allergic to gluten or any other ingredients, then Newport Beach Pharmacy could help you to create a medication that is safe to consume & free of trouble-causing ingredients.
(b) Customized Dosage.
Standardized medicine doesn't work moderately with small & large pets. Thus, the significance of compounding medication becomes imperative for treating animals in the best possible way. The medication can be further customized as per the size & weight of your pet.
(c) Compounding can combine various medications in one single dose.
Sometimes a pet requires more than one medication to treat. Hence, administering multiple drugs to pets can be extremely challenging. Through Newport Beach Pharmacy, one can combine two or more drugs into a single dosage. This evidently helps in effectively managing your pet medications & refills.
Whether it’s for treating illness, allergies or health conditions, fulfilling the requirement for pet medication has never been so easy.  It does require a well-thought consideration. Besides, it’s an essential part of your pet care plan. Fortunately, you can ease your quest with a compounding pharmacy. Contact

Newport Beach, California
Tumblr media
The flight back to California has been smooth, I got the window seat and slept the whole time. So, when I got to LAX there was no sign of the time difference or being jetlagged on me. If anything, I would like to think that I looked fresh.
The following day I went to work and worked as if I never left. I had so much fun giving my co-workers snippets on how my trip went.
However, the following day I got an extremely bad case of Dysmenorrhea. I could not handle it, so I went home. Since then everything felt weird, not just at work but the California life in general. Maybe I got hit by a thing called “Post – travel depression.”
I felt sad for reasons I find hard to explain. I thought I was sad because of my dysmenorrhea. I thought I was sad because of my new roles in my job. I thought I was sad because I was not ready to go back to my routine and dealing with people. At some point I remember blaming my hormones for the sadness, but I think it is more than that.
I am sad because I felt disconnected. I have experienced so much on my trip and learned so much, but I feel like no one understands. I felt disconnected with everything and it is probably because when I was travelling in the East Coast I felt free. I did not have a schedule. I wake up whenever I feel like waking up. I eat whenever I want, I do whatever I feel like doing and I am not obligated to live with other people’s expectations or interact with people however when I got back home I am expected to go back to my routine and I am expected to share my story and interact with people. Not to mention the justification that I must give to the judgmental people who are questioning how I am able to afford to take an unpaid vacation for 16 days and go to 11 states.
Like seriously? Can you just be happy for me? But for the record the East Coast trip that I did took three years of planning. Three years of saving up and working odd jobs. It is not an overnight thing. Imagine having a master’s degree, working a 9 to 5 and doing side jobs such as baby sitting, dog walking, house sitting and working in a pharmacy.
Some people think that I had it easy. To be honest, I did not. I had to work my a** off to be able to do fun things that I am doing, the fun things that people see I post on social media. For the record, you only see the good and the fun because I never post the bad and the ugly.
Let me end this entry with two best lessons that I learned while on my trip. The first lesson that I learned is that long term solo travelling is a very liberating experience. It gave me an opportunity to connect and to get to know myself better. And it gave me a chance to know what my limits are.  I recommend long term solo travelling to adventure seeking people such as myself. The second lesson that I learned is to not jump into conclusions or be judgmental. It is best to see the person for who she came to be and if you don’t agree with her it is best to talk to her, know her story and reflect on why she became that way.
It has been eight days since I got back, and I am confident to say that I fully recovered from my trip. I believe the sleep, the good company that I had over the weekend and the waves in Newport Beach helped me recover.
Anyhow, this is probably the last entry that I will be posting with regards to my East Coast adventure. It might take a while before I go on my next adventure, so I want to say thank you for dropping by my page and following my East Coast adventure. Until next time!

I am an intern at Newport Coast Pharmacy by Fashion Island. This pharmacy is located in one of the four medical buildings connected by a large parking lot. The location of this pharmacy is great, because who needs medicine more than patients at a medical building? Doctors send down prescriptions and the patients only have to wait about 10 minutes to get their medications, which is extremely convenient.  Also, with Fashion Island across the street, there is always foot traffic around the pharmacy. In addition to Newport Coast Pharmacy, there are 2 other private pharmacies located in two other buildings in the parking lot. So why is this not an issue?
Competitive market: There are many other pharmacies within a couple of miles from my pharmacy in addition to the ones in the medical center. This means that my pharmacy is in a competitive market, selling similar and identical goods. In the short run, one pharmacy may make more or less profit than another. This profit, however, reaches a zero in the long run, because all the pharmacies balance each other out.
Price comparison: Sometimes my boss gives me “special projects”. These projects involve me calling 2-3 big pharmacies (CVS or Rite-Aid) and asking them about the prices of some of their more expensive prescription drugs. My boss then looks at the numbers and decides what price he should sell his drugs for (a price around the average of the other pharmacies). It is important for the pharmacy to do this in order to survive in the competitive market. While this may be true in the majority of the cases, some of prices of drugs cannot be changed because bigger companies set those amounts.
Demand: So what makes us different to drive demand up? First, our pharmacy delivers. The pharmacy car is a driving advertisement, which draws attention to our pharmacy. Of course this makes things more convenient for our patients who cannot really leave the house, or pick up medications exactly when needed. Second, we also offer mail-outs, spreading out our service to other cities, states, and countries. In addition to these delivery services, our pharmacy also specializes in compounding, which is a process that involves making/mixing drugs that avoid allergies or other contraindications. There is also a travel clinic where people are educated about the vaccinations and preparations needed when leaving the country. The costs that go into the business for gas for the car, mailing stamps, the compounding equipment, or flyers and shots for the travel clinic are minimal compared to the profit the pharmacy makes in the short run. These small things increase demand for Newport Coast Pharmacy’s supplies, thus shifting the demand curve up in the short run.  This means the pharmacy can raise some prices while selling a higher quantity.
The attributions of Newport Coast Pharmacy make it special, but not extremely different. We do sell the same over-the-counter medications for the most part, and do have the same prescription drugs behind the counter as other pharmacies. Our “special services” is what makes our pharmacy profit. This makes a sort of “monopoly” because other pharmacies around us do not have the same services we provide. Interning at this pharmacy has taught me a lot about medications, but at the end of the day, it is a business and all businesses think alike: to thrive and make profits.
