I have read Vicki’s book, though admittedly not the appendices and acknowledgements until just recently. My previous points still stand.

I think it’s important to note that of Misha, Vicki wrote: “And, finally, M, my sweet coadventurer in love and life. Even though this book wasn't his cup of tea, he was supportive from the beginning and was always there when I needed him with encouragement, egg sandwiches, and a brutally-honest critical eye. His patience, humor, openness to change, and super-human ability to love me without crushing me, continues to amaze me. I feel enormously lucky to be sharing this journey with him.”

He might’ve been an active participant in exploring threesomes and polyamory, and supportive of Vicki exploring her own sexuality and that of others, but you basically act like he co-wrote the book or something when it’s very clearly a deep exploration of Vicki’s own self…

Once again, it’s okay to admit that you simply don’t understand alternative lifestyles like the one they led (an open marriage).

I guess I just don’t really understand your intended goal here? What you’re trying to prove? Especially when some of your “facts” don’t add up.

You didn’t read it very well if you don’t think he was into it. She said she didn’t even know she was attracted to women until she and misha had drunk sex with her friend, that it gave her an identity crisis, and she didn’t want to have sex with her without misha being in the room for a while because it made it “less gay”. that means that he was definitely the one pursuing a threesome. Vicki also said that misha fell in love with her friend but didn’t tell her until she admitted to it first.

my point is that he’s gross lol and that when people have a favorite blorbo actor man they become totally blind to that and bend over backwards to not only justify everything he does, but figure out a way to praise him for it. People will reshape their morality just to circle jerk over an actor. And if they can’t figure out how to make his every action the Best Bravest Most Beautiful and Selfless thing ever, they freak out and make desperate attempts to portray him as victimized by everyone around him. It’s genuinely depressing. i think he just didn’t want a book published that exposed his sexual exploits so transparently.
