instead of you [part thirty-six] || l.mh
pairing: [best friend’s brother] lee minho x college!reader ft. han jisung
summary: you didn’t expect to spend your summer pretending to be your best friend’s girlfriend- then again, you didn’t expect to fall for your best friend’s brother, either.
warnings: swearing, alcohol
word count: 3k
a/n: revamped my tom holland series from my main blog ( @wazzupmrstark ) to try and motivate myself to finish it!!
“Nice hat.”
You gave Minho a sideways look. “Really?”
“Yeah, it’s cute.”
You tipped the brim at him, grinning. “Thank you. Jisung picked it out.”
“He has good taste.”
You weren’t sure how to respond to the double entendre so you didn’t, choosing instead to direct your attention forward, where your fake boyfriend was teeing up.
Back at school, Jisung had gone off to play golf with a few of your mutual friends once or twice, but it was an expensive hobby, and as broke college students, they couldn’t exactly make a habit out of it. For a little while, Jisung worked as an assistant chef at a nearby country club for a couple of months which allowed him free access to their course in his off time, but juggling the job and his studies quickly became too much to handle and he couldn’t even keep up with his responsibilities, let alone have any free time to take advantage of the course.
Considering how long it had been since he last played, you weren’t expecting much from Jisung’s first swing, but when he stuck the golf ball with his club, it actually went relatively far. Of course, you didn’t have much knowledge of the sport to go off of when it came to gauging how well he was actually doing, but from the looks on his brothers’ faces, you assumed he’d done pretty well.
“Good job!” you cheered, running up to your best friend and kissing him on the cheek. “That was good right?”
He caught you with an arm around your waist and pulled you close. “Thanks, baby. It wasn’t bad, but it could have been better.”
“Whatever, you’re just being humble.”
“He’s not,” Felix piped up from behind the two of you. “Let me show you how a real golfer plays.”
You rolled your eyes in unison with Jisung but stepped back to let Felix tee up anyway, both watching as he took a couple of practice swings.
“How much do you want to bet he comes in last?” Jisung muttered in your ear.
“I’m not willing to go bankrupt over this, sorry.”
Jisung snorted and tried to muffle his laugh in your shoulder but it was still loud enough for his twin to hear.
“Oi! I don’t want to hear it when you’re up thirty points over me.”
“Yeah, we’ll see, Lix,” Jisung scoffed. “Just swing already! We don’t have all day, mate.”
Felix shot his brother a look but did as he was told. He rolled his shoulders and focused in on the ball, huffing out a breath and drawing the club back over his shoulder. He put more power into his swing than Jisung had but hit the ball with the edge of the clubhead instead of the center which sent it flying a little off to the left. From what you could see, the ball still landed on the pitch. It hadn’t gone into the trees or the lake, it was just in a trickier spot to clear.
“What was that you were saying about points?” Jisung asked smugly.
Felix groaned and turned back around to argue with him as Minho came up and took his place at the starting point.
“It’s going to be a long day, isn’t it?” you muttered to Minho.
He gave you a tight half-smile and shrugged. “You have no idea.”
-
It had only been an hour since the boys started and you didn’t think you’d ever heard so many insults and curse words thrown around in such a short amount of time, which was saying something.
Jisung, Felix, and Minho were all neck and neck with each other, with Dom far ahead of all three of them.
The course itself was beautiful. It was just across the street from the resort you were staying at, right on the edge of the water. You were able to see the ocean from the tops of the faux hills on the green, sparkling with the reflection of the sun. The waves were dotted with little boats and surfers all enjoying the good weather and making the most out of the afternoon.
You would have been content to spend all day there if it wasn’t so hot and you weren’t forced to stand around listening to your best friend argue with his brothers.
“How many more holes are there?” you asked Nikki, leaning over and whispering quietly so that the others wouldn’t hear you.
“Too many.”
“Kill me now.”
“Why don’t we get ourselves a drink when the cart girl comes around? It’ll make the time go faster.”
You grinned. “I like the way you think.”
-
You weren’t a stranger to day drinking, not by a long shot, but you didn’t want to get too sloppy while the sun was still up. You had long since given up on the little pact you’d made with yourself not to drink for the remainder of the trip— not that you’d ever really followed it in the first place. Nikki got herself a High Noon when the aforementioned cart girl came by, so you did the same, insisting on covering the tab for both of you.
“Please?” you practically begged. “It’s literally the least I can do after everything you’ve done for me.”
She seemed to think about it for a minute. “Fine. I’ll let you do it this one time. But don’t get used to it.”
You did a little dance in celebration and handed over some cash to the cart girl after she popped the tabs on both of your cans.
“Want anything?” you called to the boys. “It’s on me!”
Felix was the only one to take you up on the offer, both Minho and Jisung making a fuss about not spending your money on them. Where was this attitude back at school? you asked yourself, scoffing at Jisung’s refusal.
“I’m in the lead, I can’t afford to lower my inhibitions now!” Dom said. “But when I win, I’ll treat you to a pint, even though you’re canoodling with one of my opponents.”
“I’m starting to think you guys have something against me,” you accused the two non-participants as you handed Felix his beer. “What, do you think I’m broke?”
“We’re just gentlemen,” Minho said pointedly, shooting Felix a look.
“You are broke,” Jisung muttered.
“Watch it,” you shot, waving your drink at him. “You’re not getting a sip now.”
“Babe, I didn’t want a sip to begin with.”
“Okay, well even if you change your mind you can’t have one.”
He laughed and shook his head at the ground, walking back over to the teeing-off point with his hands on his hips.
Nikki was right, the afternoon did indeed pass a lot quicker with drinks in your hands. They kept you cool in the heat of the sun and the alcohol made the hours blend into each other.
In the latter half of the game, you started to pay more attention. You had finally begun to pick up what was good and what was bad from everyone else’s reactions to the shots and could actually tell for yourself.
“Baby, can you switch this out for the driver?” Jisung asked, holding his current club out to you.
“Which one is that?”
“The big one.”
You selected the club he described and passed it to him, taking the one he’d just used to put back in the golf bag. He kissed you when you met him in the middle to swap the two, smiling against you when he noticed Minho looking on.
“Sorry, couldn’t help it,” he whispered in your ear. “It’s too fun to fuck with him.”
Confused, you turned around to see what he was talking about only to see Minho standing a few feet away with his tongue in his cheek.
“Thanks, baby,” Jisung said, putting his hand on the small of your back to remind you of what you were doing. “You make a cute caddy.”
Minho mumbled something under his breath that you didn’t catch but you figured that was probably for the best.
-
After golf, you hung out with Jisung’s family at the pool for a few hours before heading back up to the rooms to get ready for dinner.
“Do we need to dress nice?” you asked.
Jisung peeked out from the bathroom to answer you, shaking his wet hair dry with a towel.
“Uh, not like nice, nice but nicer than just jeans.”
“Okay, I can do that.”
You turned back to your open suitcase and rifled through it in search of something that fit the dress code.
“By the way, where did you go last night?”
“With Minho?”
“Yeah, you were gone for like hours. I fell asleep and then woke up randomly and you still weren’t back.”
“Minho took me to some beach.”
“Did you have sex with him?”
You looked up. “Yeah. Why?”
Jisung shrugged. “Just wondering.”
You could tell he wanted to say more but you didn’t push. If you did, you’d only be hurting your own feelings. He had told you that himself. Jisung had been very clear that he wasn’t ready to talk about the Minho thing with you so all you could do was be honest and answer the questions that he asked, even if it was awkward and uncomfortable.
You were so used to guilt by now that you almost didn’t notice the fresh wave that washed over you. You knew it was wrong to still sleep with Minho after everything— hell, you knew it was wrong before everything, but neither of those facts stopped you from doing it.
You realized Jisung was still looking at you so you shook it off and picked up a random sundress from your luggage.
“How’s this for tonight?”
“Looks good to me.”
An hour later, you and the rest of the Hans were seated around a table in a dimly lit restaurant. The sundress had been the right choice. The place was right on the water and open to the outdoor air so all of the other patrons were dressed pretty similarly.
Jisung ordered for you after you looked over the menu together like always. Your hands rested on the table, fingers entwined for his family to see. You had been doing this for so long now that it was almost second nature to you. You had fallen into the routine a long time ago but you didn’t even have to think about it anymore. You probably wouldn’t even be giving the action a second thought had it not been for Minho staring at your hands from across the table.
It looked like he was zoning out, like he wasn’t actually glaring at you holding hands with his brother but you couldn’t be sure. You kicked him gently in the shin to get his attention. He jolted and locked eyes with you immediately, erasing any trace of subtly.
“You okay there, son?” Dom asked, patting Minho on the back.
“Yeah, yeah, ‘m fine. Just got a chill.”
Thankfully, everyone seemed to move past it and the conversation resumed. Dinner was otherwise uneventful. The boys recounted the golf game and Dom’s landslide win, while you just listened and nodded along when it felt right. It was a relief not to have to add anything to the discussion. You didn’t have the energy to.
Dom stayed true to his word from earlier and bought everyone a round from the bar at the restaurant. You weren’t a big beer drinker but you didn’t want to be rude so you suffered through the whole pint, ignoring Jisung’s worried glances from the side.
“You know I could have finished that for you,” he muttered.
“I don’t want to look like a pussy in front of your dad,” you hissed back. “He bought it for us. And I didn’t want to be left out.”
Your best friend scoffed and shoved his hands in his pockets. “You’ll do anything to prove a point, won’t you?”
“You know me.”
-
Minho pulled you aside after dinner, once you were back at the resort.
“Think you can ditch your ‘boyfriend’?” he whispered as you both fell back a couple of steps.
You stopped. “What, why?”
“I just want a moment alone with you.”
“A moment or several moments?” you challenged.
He smirked. “I’ll take whatever I can get.”
“I can’t keep blowing Jisung off,” you sighed, “and neither can you.’
“You know he doesn’t want anything to do with me right now.”
“That doesn’t mean you should stop trying!”
“Look, can we not do this right now? When they’re literally right there?”
“You’re the one who pulled me aside right in front of them.”
You watched his jaw clench in frustration but he didn’t say anything else because he knew you were right.
“Can you ditch him or not?”
You sighed again and looked back to Jisung. He was in what looked to be a heated debate with Felix. You didn’t need to hear it to know it was over something stupid.
“I’ll see what I can do.”
-
Jisung barely bat an eye when you told him where you were going.
“Okay, be safe,” he said as he kicked off his shoes.
That’s it? That’s all he had to say to you? You wanted to ask him just that, but you were afraid of creating another rift between the two of you. Jisung had said he wasn’t ready to talk about it so you shouldn’t push, right? But was it wrong to keep leaving like this?
Going back and forth with yourself was only wasting time and Minho was still waiting for you downstairs. Fuck it.
You grabbed a spare room key from the dresser, shoved it in the pocket of your dress, and left without another word before you could change your mind.
Minho was right where you left him, leaning against the wall by the elevator hub. He grinned when he saw you.
“Thought you’d never escape.”
You rolled your eyes at him as you let him lead you through the lobby by the hand. You were still wary of people seeing you together but the lobby was seemingly empty.
“Jisung didn’t care. It was me who took forever.”
Minho paused, letting go of your hand as he gave you a concerned once over. “Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
You nodded. “Yeah, I don’t really want to talk about it. So, where are we going?”
He frowned, but only momentarily, quickly covering it up with a smile. “I- okay, um... remember how you said we don’t do ‘couple stuff’?”
“Yeah?”
“I thought maybe I could take you somewhere where we can do that.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m taking you on a date, silly.”
“Really? Where?” When he didn’t answer, you groaned. “You and your stupid surprises.”
“It’s more fun this way and you know it,” he insisted, tugging you along by the hand.
“I like being prepared,” you argued.
He grinned. “So be prepared for a good time.”
The drive wasn’t far at all this time but you were confused when he pulled into a crowded lot. You were even more confused when he didn’t turn off the car or more to get out of it.
You turned to him in confusion. “Minho?”
“Y/n?” he parroted.
“Where are we?”
“We’re on our date.”
“Yes, but where?”
“Did you not see the sign when we turned in?” You shook your head. He grinned. “It’s a drive-in.”
“Really?”
“Why do you think no one’s getting out of their car?”
“I didn’t really notice, to be honest.”
“Too distracted by your hot date?”
You didn’t spare him a reaction. “How’d you find this place?”
“I did some research the other night,” he explained, “when you, you know, we talked about it. I figured this is about as close as we could get to a real date. At least right now.”
“That’s… really thoughtful.”
He shrugged. “Nah, it’s nothing, really.”
“Well I was going to kiss you, but if it’s nothing—”
“No, no. I want the kiss. Give me my kiss.”
You chuckled, relenting as you leaned in. He met you halfway over the center console and kissed you sweetly. It was short but eager, just enough to leave you wanting more.
You had to remind yourself not to get your hopes up. Sure, Minho was showing interest in you now, but what about when this was all over? Would he want to do long-distance? Did he want to date you at all? You had been telling yourself that it was just sex all this time but now you were on a date... but what did it mean? You could just ask but you were scared to ruin the moment, ruin whatever it was that was actually going on.
You’d been asking yourself the same questions for weeks now and the scary thing was, it seemed like Minho was serious about you. He had all but said it outright to you. And here he was taking you on a fucking date. It was you who kept pushing back. You told yourself it was because of Jisung, but if you were being honest with yourself that was only half of it. You were afraid of getting hurt. You had never been in a real relationship before for that very reason. Well, that and you liked being single. It seemed favorable considering the dating pool of your university.
“I want another one,” Minho murmured, leaning in again.
“Nope, that’s all you get for now,” you teased, even though you did very much want to kiss him again.
His lips parted in surprise. “Wha- why?”
“Because I only promised you one! I can’t just go giving my kisses away, can I?”
“Sure you can,” he argued.
“That would lessen their value. I can’t wager them to get what I want if they’re not worth anything.”
“Your kisses are very valuable to me,” Minho insisted.
“Because I’m sparing with them.”
Minho inched even closer to your face, eyes trained on your mouth. “So I can earn them,” you started to nod, “if I’m a good boy?”
You almost choked on nothing, swallowing a moan. Minho watched your reaction with a self-satisfied smile and then settled back in his seat, turning his attention to the giant projector screen at the front of the parking lot.
“We’ll see,” you muttered hoarsely.
He hummed, still looking forward. “I’ll be good then.”
lmk what you think i always appreciate feedback!!

ღMy Tipsy Drabbles mini master list | Isa's | Dae's | Flurry's
Tumblr media
The sun shone from high in the sky as you braced yourselves on the blood-drenched sands of the arena. The crowd shouted obscenities and praise but you droned them out, to focus on only one man: Jeong Yunho.
Today was a battle royale. Fifty gladiators were fighting for the grand title of today's winner: God of the Sun. Whichever gladiator won today’s battle would be treated with the utmost respect and spoiled with riches until the following year when another God would win.
The only person in your way was your best friend.
You and Yunho had trained to be gladiators since you were both sold and bought by the training house you belonged to. Yunho was given a spear for his long reach and you were given a club for your bloodthirst. Both of you excelled with your weapons but never had you ever had to fight each other on the sands.
“Well.” Yunho hefted his spear to rest on his shoulder. “I thought you would have gone out earlier.”
You grinned, blood staining your teeth from when you bit into someone else’s arm to get out of a messy headlock. “And let you have all the fun and the glory?”
Yunho stared off into the crowd. You bounced on the balls of your feet. You didn’t have any patience to wait for Yunho to shift and reveal which way he was going to lunge. You may be Yunho’s best friend but he was beyond competitive; he wouldn’t give up just for you.
“Come on,” You prompted him. “Come at me, Stick Boy.”
Yunho’s spear whipped downwards and you dodged its descending arc. You placed your sandaled foot on the tip to keep it lodged in the sand. “Do you really want to dance with me?” Yunho asked.
“Do you expect me to throw myself on your spear?” You countered.
“No but--” Yunho made a noise of frustration.
You tossed your club from one hand to the other. “I don’t need your pity, Yunho. I don’t want to hear some bullshit excuse of how you don’t want to hurt me. That’s insulting. I am a warrior. We learned both our trades side by side. Fight me. Let’s measure our worth.”
When Yunho didn’t say anything, or even look at you, you let out a blood-curdling yell and slammed your club down on Yunho’s spear. It moved out of the way just before your clubhead could split it in two.
“Fine,” Yunho said tightly.
And so began the fight between the Bullmoose of the North and the Mantis of the East. You charged and grunted and Yunho jabbed and dodged. The two of you were never meant to be opponents, for who would invest in fighters only to have them fight each other? But alas, the tournament was mandatory for all the gladiator houses to fight in. If you wanted to be someone recognized that year, of course.
The sun was so high in the sky now that both of you were sweating and breathing hard. The crowd was getting rowdy too, impatient for a victor now that they had their show.
“Listen,” Yunho said, attempting to bargain. “If you feign to the left, I can graze your ribs and when I’m victor, I’ll--”
You took your chance at his distraction and swung your club, clipping him just under the jaw. Yunho’s eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed onto the sand. You raised your club above your head and roared at the crowd in victory.
You were gifted with the laurels of the God of the Sun and were lifted onto a palanquin, carted away to enjoy your spoils. Yunho was dragged off the sands, in the complete opposite of care.
That night, after all the drinking, and celebrations, you made your way to the downstairs where the medicaus took care of his charges. You found Yunho awake, sitting up, with a glorious bruise on his jawline.
“And so the sleeping princess awakens,” You grinned, sloshing the wine in your cup.
Yunho sought to pin you with a dark glare. “I can’t believe you did that.”
You shrugged. “That’s what you get for letting your guard down.”
Yunho ripped his gaze from yours, opting to look down at his lap, where his hands were clenched into his loin clothe. “You know how much I wanted this,” he grumbled.
“And I didn’t?” You shook your head. “Oh, Princess, I wasn’t about to just give it to you.”
“Stop calling me that,” Yunho said through clenched teeth.
“It’s apt, no?” You snickered. “The sleeping princess they’ll call you. And I, the--”
You never did get to finish the new title you were about to bequeath yourself with, because Yunho bursted up from his place in his cot, and pinned you under him. Your cup clattered to the floor, spilling your undrunk wine.
You bucked and thrashed but Yunho easily held your arms above your head with one hand.
“Is this how you treat the God of the Sun?” You snarled, snapping your teeth without actually managing to bite anything but air.
Yunho looked down at you, amused now. “I told you to stop calling me that.”
You let out a loud noise of frustration. “Or what, Yunho? If you had won, would I have given you the respect you had earned? Is it because I’m a woman? Are you one of those men now?”
“I am a man and you would do good to remember that.”
Apparently Yunho had taken it personally that you called him princess. Because at that moment, Yunho’s eyes became even darker, raking over your form under him.
“Because I sure do remember that you’re a woman.”
“Yunho,” You growled in warning.
You grew even more desperate to get out of Yunho’s hold. You twisted your wrists, managing to free them but Yunho simply pressed his entire weight against you, pinning your body with his own.
“We are friends, are we not? Do not do this!”
“Do what?”
You felt his lower half grind into yours. With a yell, you wrapped your legs around his waist and threw your weight with all your might. Yunho landed on the ground with an oof, arms around his head to protect his new head injury.
“You’re crazy,” Yunho grunted.
“It would do you good to remember that,” You threw his words back at him.
Yunho threw a rueful look up at you. “I don’t think I’m going to forget it now.”
And you had a feeling you weren’t going to forget that your best friend was a man either. Not after feeling how… blessed by the god’s he truly was.

Trump Responds to Mark Cuban: A Heated Exchange Over Strong Women and Past Grudges
In a recent tweet, former President Donald Trump took a direct aim at billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, calling him a “really dumb guy” and “a major loser.” This exchange was fueled by Cuban’s recent public criticism, where he reportedly suggested that Trump does not surround himself with strong women. Trump fired back, vehemently denying Cuban’s statement and claiming that he surrounds himself with some of the “strongest women in the world,” including world leaders.
The tweet continued in classic Trump fashion, marked by bold accusations and personal jabs. Trump described Cuban as a “fool” who frequently appears on television only to criticize him, and suggested that Cuban’s criticism stems from Trump “tuning him out” during his presidency due to incessant calls. According to Trump, Cuban took this dismissal hard, as he allegedly has a “very insecure” personality.
“Actually, he is very wrong,” Trump tweeted, “I surround myself with the strongest of women.” He clarified his belief that “all women are great, whether strong or not strong,” and urged women to take offense at Cuban’s remarks.
In addition to his critique of Cuban’s opinions on strong women, Trump addressed Cuban’s supposed political loyalties, pointing out that Cuban was “forced” to support Vice President Kamala Harris, a claim he wrapped in his usual criticism by referring to her as “Lyin’ Kamala Harris.” Trump’s message concluded with a cutting comment about Cuban’s lack of “clubhead speed,” a reference that seemed to hint at Cuban’s alleged inadequacies both in character and in physical ability.
This Twitter post is the latest in Trump’s history of sharp, public feuds with high-profile figures. The exchange has sparked both support and criticism, illustrating the polarized perspectives surrounding Trump’s remarks on leadership, loyalty, and the empowerment of women.

I just finished the Purge DLC episode for Citizen Sleeper, and I am Upset. This game is so damn good, but it hurts my heart every time I reach an ending. I did everything I could on the Eye, rejecting every ending I could just to stay one more day, explore just a little bit more, meet a couple new people. But that final choice, between leaving with the flotilla, and staying with Peake,,, it's so hard to know what the right choice is, and I think that's beautiful.
I rejected the other endings for several reasons. I love Lem and Mina, and I miss them terribly, but my Sleeper couldn't survive out there with them, without stabilisers. Within a dozen cycles or so, Robot would be dead, and Mina would have nobody to look after her. I didn't want to join the Gardener, because to me the game is all about the Sleeper becoming a person to those around them, becoming a citizen. And the Gardener sets you free of all that, at the cost of all the connections you made. You become part of the great mycelial network, but to those around you, you become just another dead sleeper.
So with Purge, I really wanted to stay. It was my safe place, the place I knew I could survive with the clubhead mushrooms and the scrap I could gather. But then, they put the mushrooms on the ship with you, and suddenly I had less reason to stay. Tala left, my closest remaining friend, Bliss already gone, Morits hardly visiting,,,
Either way, the Eye goes to shit, sandwiched between corporate interests and being taken over by the Gardener. Leaving it behind, looking for something new in the Starward Belt, felt exciting, like the possibility for another shot at things. Staying on the Eye felt comforting, running a bar with Emphis, playing with the stray cat, making a place in this strange new world. I can't choose which is the better option. There's no way to know. And it hurts my heart.
I have no idea how I'm ever going to do another playthrough.

To continue where we left it off Both flowey and Bendy agreed they carefully went through alleyways hiding from sight as they made their way across the city both Bendy and Cuphead were the most cautious about where they were going before stumbling into an abandoned studio they sighed with relief knowing they had a safe place to stay.
A few days go by just surviving but cup and bendy are getting bored and tired of just surviving like this this world is new and it seems friends and loved ones are missing they want to go explore but flowey is nervous and worried about The Inside getting them. they have a mini argument about the situation but then cuphead cuts them off “guys stop I also have another reason why I want to explore this city…well I have this bag and it has my stuff in it..” “your stuff? Why is that so important?” Replies bendy. “I have bullet finger remember? Also I want something in that bag..” said bendy. bendy and flowey looks at cups face and they just don’t even ask.
Again they slowly and sneakily walk through the city alleyways with them in the alley they find the name of the city sitting on a sign… ”Inkwell city” Cuphead looks visually shaken “Yo cup you ok?” Asked bendy. “Uhh..yeah..let’s continue…” Bendy doesn’t think too much of it and just continues walking on their way but while they are debating where they are going, in the darkness deep in the alleyway a tall being is lurking in the shadows..
Tumblr media
Cuphead notices this and quickly backs away from this monster bendy gets the hint and yelps as he also backs away “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!” screamed Bendy. Cuphead fires a warning shot at the monster but as it misses the monster’s blue fur. The monster comes into the light revealing it is tall and has blue fur it wears a small vest with a star pattern it stands up straight letting its presence known. Bendy just stares at the monster as it stares back cup is ready to kill this beast until Bendy tells him to wait “Wait?!” “yes wait!! I think it's harmless..? It just looks hungry” said Bendy “Let's give it some food!” continued Bendy. “You’re making the worst mistake it's a monster,” said Cuphead “It's not like it's a pet”. “I get that but don't know if there's something innocent about it” Bendy smiled as he said that cuphead looked at him like he was crazy “You a dumbass you know that right?” said Cuphead accepting this monster then walked away bendy and the monster quickly followed.
As they make their way to the cuphead’s bag location, it is deep in the night so they can hide easily they stealthily make it to a tall building named “Inkwell City’s Rook Base” Bendy is confused but Cuphead Begins climbing the building “W-WHAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” said bendy. “S-SHUT UP MY BAG IS HERE PLUS YOU ARE GOING TO GET US CAUGHT!!” screamed back Cuphead, he just continued to climb the building bendy sighed and also started to climb as well but the monster saw them climb slowly the monster used its height as an advantage instantly grabbing them both they were both spooked by this and Cuphead aimed his finger gun at the monster but then the monster helped them go to a window they both sighed with relief and calmed down They try to get the window open but struggle. “Get it open!” said Bendy “What do you think I'm doing?!” argued back Cuphead as he continued to try and open it but failed “FUCK THIS!!” clubhead aims his finger gun at the window and shoots it breaking it instantly. immediately alarms go off and Bendy starts getting worried “Dude grab whatever you got!!” says Bendy, cuphead rushes into the building and looks around he reads the badge number on his suit “0994..” Cup says while looking at a lockup number breaking it open taking a duffle bag and racing out. They immediately book it because they can start hearing helicopter dins The monster is a fast runner so they both catch a ride on it they show it where they're staying at the abandoned studio they are quick so no one sees them the monster being at its lowest hungry and thirsty just barely made it before he stumbles in, they take a quick moment but bendy seeing this gives it some homemade soup bendy made earlier “there there..” says bendy “we're home!”. Flowey frightened by them rushed in whimpering behind a couch “O-oh! H-hi guys! I thought you were The Inside” stuttered Flowey, “Nah we did get the bag, though right cup?” said Bendy, cuphead lifted up the bag in exhaustion because they almost got caught.
Cuphead after getting his breath back, checks his bag and sighs with relief he pulls out a picture frame and hugs it before putting it away now bendy sees this and only sees one thing, it is a picture of Cup with another person and it seems they were embracing that all he saw before cup put it away. Cuphead pulls out a couple of bottles, some clothes, a blue scarf, some keys and other things but then he pulls out 2 big cups almost as big as his head “What the hell?? Did you like kill your whole family or something?” asked Bendy, “actually these aren't heads they are my super arts I have three of them,” said Cuphead “Then why are there only two?” asked Bendy again, “in wearing the first one” said Cuphead. Bendy looks at the cup for a second before looking confused “Here let me show you..” clubhead grabs a Super art with the number 3 on it and smashes his face breaking his head and the Super Art, but before Bendy can freak out cuphead head reform and super art 1 appears in his hand “see?” Bendy nods thinking it is cool.
Thank you everyone for looking at my mini-story I felt like you guys needed a background before actually starting the ask and by the way…I AM STARTING THE ASKS SOON DONT WORRY HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHE

Swing Secrets: How to Perfect Your Golf Technique Like a Pro
Perfecting your golf swing takes more than just practice—it requires understanding the fundamentals and refining your technique. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, learning the secrets to a great swing can make all the difference in your game. Here are some expert tips to help you swing like a pro and elevate your golf skills.
Tumblr media
The Grip: Your Foundation for Control
The grip is the most important element of your golf swing. A proper grip gives you control over the club and helps you direct the ball. Start with your hands placed on the club in a neutral position. Hold it firm enough to maintain control, but relaxed enough to prevent tension. A proper grip will allow your hands to work together during the swing, ensuring fluidity and consistency.
Perfect Your Stance: Stability is Key
A good stance is essential for a successful swing. Position your feet shoulder-width apart, with your knees slightly bent. Bend at the hips while keeping your back straight to maintain balance and control. Your weight should be distributed evenly between your feet, allowing for a stable base throughout your swing. Proper posture gives you the stability needed to generate power while maintaining accuracy. Practicing in front of a mirror can help you get a feel for the right stance.
Focus on Your Swing Path: Consistency is Everything
The path of your golf swing is crucial for accuracy and distance. Make sure your clubhead follows a consistent swing path—don’t allow it to go too far outside or inside the line of the target. A good practice tip is to imagine a straight line along the ground that you’re trying to hit along. Keep your focus on the target while allowing your body to move naturally through the swing.
Tempo and Rhythm: Timing Makes the Difference
Having the right tempo in your swing is essential for making solid contact with the ball. A smooth, controlled motion will yield better results than a rushed swing. Practice developing a consistent rhythm, paying attention to your backswing, downswing, and follow-through. A balanced swing with proper timing will help you hit straighter and more powerful shots. Don’t try to force your swing; instead, allow it to flow naturally with rhythm and ease.
Follow Through: Finish Strong
A strong follow-through is essential to completing your golf swing. After impact, ensure your body rotates fully, with your chest facing the target and your club wrapped around your body. A proper follow-through increases the distance and accuracy of your shots. Keep your head down during the entire swing and hold your finish position for a moment to check if your form is correct. A great follow-through demonstrates proper technique and consistency.
The Mental Game: Focus and Patience
Golf isn’t just about physical technique; your mindset plays a huge role in your performance. Developing focus and patience on the course is vital for success. Take your time with each shot and avoid rushing. Stay calm, trust your swing, and don’t get discouraged by a bad shot. Developing mental toughness will help you stay on track, especially under pressure.
Practice, Practice, Practice
The key to mastering your swing is regular practice. Set aside time to work on your technique, focusing on specific areas that need improvement. Whether it’s at your local course or a beautiful location like Cloudland at McLemore Resort, practicing in varied conditions can help you adapt to different situations.
Conclusion
Perfecting your golf swing is a journey that requires time, effort, and dedication. By focusing on the fundamentals—grip, stance, swing path, rhythm, and follow-through—you can gradually refine your technique and see significant improvements in your game. Whether you’re hitting the fairways at Cloudland at McLemore Resort or another beautiful course, remember that consistency and patience are key to becoming a pro.
