Truth and I might ramble about this. I get really OCD about my hair sometimes. I have had all kinds of haircuts and styles. Short, long, messy, Mohawk, tried dreads once and that was a stupid LSD induced event, fully buzzed, you name it. When I start having manic episodes or do not feel well I want it all gone. I have a friend in New York that is one of the best barbers in the world and cuts my hair when ever I’m up here for several years. She is incredible and lucky for me patient. I started out getting a completely different cut and I suddenly told her I wanted the opposite of what I said. I wanted a more extreme change. Some of y’all may understand and others might not. I didn’t want a normal high and tight, I’ve been over that and it’s a little boring. I wanted it cut so I could roll out of bed and walk out the door. Less decisions means more brain space for all the truly important decisions about family, music, club duquette. There is so much I can not control. Especially in the music business. This is my way of control and at the same time letting go. When I was a freshman in high school I had nightly recurring dreams about everyone in the world being bald and it was a more peaceful place. My theory was that without hair there was less ego and more commonality. Look I want us to all be unique. See I told you I would ramble.
