Overall, the poem portrays water as a valuable and finite resource that should be conserved and used responsibly to ensure its longevity.
The symbol of water in this poem is said to be the sentence“ close the tap” in repetitive times along the poem, meaning the urgency to not let the water run without care and consciousness of the huge problem it is causing. How did I save water yesterday?
Yesterday, I did a lot of things that were about saving water. I went to the house of my aunt and she was washing the vegetables. I saw that she wasted a lot of water because she kept the tap open and I told her that she needs to close the tap so we can conservate water. Also, I told that she can collect that water and use it for plants.
