#i really think people need to learn how to do two things online#1. not know things#2. shut up#if everyone is talking about something you dont understand then admit to yourself you dont understand#and therefore cannot have an informed opinion on the subject#you can take the opportunity to learn and see what people are saying#and until then you shut up about it#close your danged mouth delete the draft post#alternatively stop justifying yourself because you have self imposed guilt????#i keep seeing the post thats like#“oh its ok to not blog about this for your mental health ” and honestly#that feels like a weird thing to post when you could just be quiet???#if youre overwhelmed or confused or whatever by current events you dont have to announce that youre not posting about it????#just dont#ppl need to stop trying to morally justify their actions or inactions in the face of crises when they just need to learn to be quiet#idk im tired and at work and putting together coherent thoughts is hard right now#but i really think people need to stop and think and close their mouths sometimes
