Of course. If people take their time to read, that’s the least I can do.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Probably the original ending of my Star Wars (original 6 movies) hexalogy in which I gave Obi-Wan a girlfriend and a kid ... After the Jedi Purge, the Jedi girlfriend went into hiding and gave the child away so that it would be safe from the Empire, and Obi-Wan and the girlfriend never met again before his death. Fun times.

Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Not really though, though I do like to connect different verses of the same franchises that usually have nothing to do with each other. Having Barbara Gordon and movie Barbara Batgirl meet was a lot of fun.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Not really as a comment but there was lot of slandering in chats and boars in the old fandom days if you didn’t write exactly what people thought was the only legit theme and pairing.

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Have you met me? Since I’m a RL BDSM lover, sub and advocate, I naturally write a lot of kink.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Boy, have I ever. About a fifth of the fics I have on were co-written with a now ex-friend who sadly does not want to have anything to do with fandom anymore. She also wanted her name removed from all of our stuff since she has a quite public job and doesn’t want people possibly finding her involvement in things. So people don’t know on first sight.

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Huh, hard to tell. MCU has kinda ruined Clintasha for me which I once lived and breathed, and ever since then I think I kinda turned away from too intense canon shipping a little. Russingon is my current canon obsession, I guess. And Anakin/Padmé, maybe? Other than that, the shipping I could always get into most were always my canon/OC pairings.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Far too many fics on my pc that will never see the online light of day. But that’s okay. I like reading old stuff, even if it’s unfinished.

What are your writing strengths?

Hm, dialogue, I think? And smut, obviously, since this is kind of the only thing people really go for on my ao3 account.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Action scenes

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Other than a few movie elvish phrases, I don’t really use that.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

S.W.A.T. (1970′s series) when I was like 9 years old. The first I published in online was She-Ra: Princess of power (original Filmation).

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I’m obviously very deeply attached to my LOTR longfic series “Tales Untold”. I’m also kind of proud of my long X-Men-movie series “Weathered” which worked many of the Dark Phoenix-saga elments from the comics and the cartoons into the movieverse and ended up to be incredibly epic, including los of wedding, sex, drama, death and the end of the world.

Okay, here it is... Drumroll please.

What if...

Steve fell off the train instead of Bucky? (written by Rebecca)

Well, the whole timeline of Steve becoming Captain America would be very different, indeed.

One of two things could happen.

Bucky becomes the new Captain America and joins the Avengers as an OG Avenger, instead of Steve.

Bucky doesn’t join the Avengers at all, leaving a place of leadership to be missing.

Well, let’s go through each movies that Steve was in and evaluate each one, shall we?

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

The following is a Wikipedia entry of what happened in this movie AFTER Bucky falls from the train:

“Using information extracted from Zola, the final Hydra stronghold is located, and Rogers leads an attack to stop Schmidt from using weapons of mass destruction on major American cities. Rogers climbs aboard Schmidt's aircraft as it takes off. During the subsequent fight, the Tesseract's container is damaged. Schmidt physically handles the Tesseract, which opens a wormhole into space, sucking him into it. The Tesseract burns through the plane and is lost in the ocean. Seeing no way to land the plane without the risk of detonating its weapons, Rogers crashes it in the Arctic. Stark later recovers the Tesseract from the ocean floor but is unable to locate Rogers or the aircraft, presuming him dead.”

Now if we analyse each of the things that could’ve happened if Steve fell instead of Bucky...

This would turn out the exact same, except replace the face of Chris Evans with Sebastian Stan and visa versa. But of course the Peggy relationship would be different (maybe that what if scenario about Peggy becoming Captain Britain might come true?)

None of this would’ve happened if Bucky didn’t become Captain America. Barnes would’ve been still stuck in the 1940s and died there as he wasn’t injected with the super soldier serum that Steve did. Of course, Steve would’ve taken Bucky’s place at HYDRA (cue HYDRA Cap, but that will come later in the sequel)

The Avengers (2012)

I’m not going to copy and paste the whole Wikipedia plot of the Avengers onto here, otherwise that would be too long to read, so here is a shorten version that someone wrote on IMDB (trust me, it is shorter than the Wikipedia entry).

“S.H.I.E.L.D. has located the mysterious Tesseract device and the Army's super soldier Captain America. The Tesseract is actually a gateway to an entirely new world called Asgard. A mysterious being known as Loki arrives on earth and immediately assumes that he can rule all human beings. But that irks S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury the wrong way. As Loki escapes with the Tesseract, Nick Fury believes this is an act of war against Earth. His only hope is to assemble an actual team of super heroes. Dr. Bruce Banner, who turns into an enormous green rage monster known as the Hulk. Tony Stark and his venerable Iron Man armor. Captain America, the Stark Enterprises created super soldier. Thor, the god of thunder, protector of Earth and his home planet of Asgard, and Loki's brother. Master assassins Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff. Together they will become a team to take on an attack that will call them to become the greatest of all time.”

Let’s analyse again... 

The whole movie would be the same, except for a few bits. Whilst the whole boxing scene would be scrapped, the introduction of Bucky as Cap would be similar (with the memories of the events of the First Avenger and Steve falling off the train). The leadership part would be missing. Bucky considers himself as a very introverted person, so the leadership skills would turned towards Stark, which would be different for the other movies (as well as Iron Man 3).

For this scenario, the introductions would be the same, except the Cap intro. That would be replaced by either Carol Danvers, Scott Lang or Hope Van Dyne (probably not Scott but it could’ve been a possibility).

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

This is the most important part of the franchise. Again, this is another IMDB plot summary of the Winter Soldier cause it’s shorter than the Wikipedia entry.

“Two years after the alien attack on New York, Steve Rogers starts to adjust to the modern world and works as an agent of SHIELD. However, Steve disagrees with the rules of today as he faces a world of threats and complexities. When Director Nick Fury is killed by a mysterious assassin called the Winter Soldier, Steve is warned not to trust anyone, only to find himself being framed for not sharing information. On the run, Rogers launches an investigation into a deadly conspiracy which reveals that SHIELD has been infiltrated by his old arch nemesis HYDRA, who have been hiding in plain sight. With only Black Widow and Falcon as backup, Rogers must once again suit up and defeat HYDRA from launching their ultimate weapon before it's too late.”

Analysing...

To be honest, this whole movie would’ve been the same, but instead of Bucky being the Winter Soldier, Steve would’ve revealed himself as Hydra Cap (or Militant, as it’s known in the comics). Probably not with the whole green and black suit colours, but with red and black (just like Bucky had in the CA:TWS with the red star on his metal arm). Bucky would’ve still met Sam Wilson and their TV series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would still go on (but more on that later).

The events of the movie could’ve still happened (due to Pierce’s plans and Sitwell being an undercover SHIELD agent working for HYDRA). But Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton would probably be the main protagonists of the movie, fighting Hydra Cap together.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Here is yet another plot summary from IMDB about this movie.

“After a successful raid on a HYDRA base, Tony Stark and Bruce Banner create an Artificial Intelligence called Ultron, a peacekeeping protocol designed to help the Avengers protect the world from their enemies. But things go wrong when Ultron sees the human race as a threat and sets out to destroy it along with the Avengers. Now the Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, must reassemble to stop Ultron from causing mass destruction. Aside from this, the Avengers also must take on the powerful twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as well as the new entity called Vision. Also, the Avengers find that things may never be the same again after discovering a power beyond their comprehension.”

Analysing...

This movie would be the same, as well as Pietro dying (RIP Pietro). But it is a possibility that Clint would not have a family, due to the fact that he was on the run with Tasha. Also, it is a possibility that Brutasha (Ship name for Bruce and Natasha) would still happen, but it is a low one as maybe during the events of CA:TWS, we find out that Clint and Tasha have a secret relationship that we don’t know of until the Black Widow movie, (which won’t be mentioned in this post but probably in a later post about the Clintasha ship).

With Bucky out of the way, this bit of the movie (courtesy of Wikipedia), “As Stark leaves and Barton retires, Rogers and Romanoff prepare to train new Avengers: Rhodes, Vision, Sam Wilson, and Wanda...” will happen without him. Barton would not retire and help Tasha with helping to train them. But the theory that Stark went to his safehouse (mentioned and visited in Endgame) could happen in this version. But of course, if the, before mentioned, characters in the first Avengers movie were to replace Bucky, then they would train the newbies with Tasha.

Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Here is another important movie in the franchise! And here it is, another plot summary!

“With many people fearing the actions of super heroes, the government decides to push for the Hero Registration Act, a law that limits a hero's actions. This results in a division in The Avengers. Iron Man stands with this Act, claiming that their actions must be kept in check otherwise cities will continue to be destroyed, but Captain America feels that saving the world is daring enough and that they cannot rely on the government to protect the world. This escalates into an all-out war between Team Iron Man (Iron Man, Black Panther, Vision, Black Widow, War Machine, and Spider-Man) and Team Captain America (Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Ant Man) while a new villain emerges.”

Analysing...

Again, to be honest, this whole movie would’ve been the same. Yeah. That’s it. But number two, on the other hand...

...Would not happen at all. Well, actually, the Sokovia Accords were about the Battle of Sokovia in AoU, but the whole argument between Steve/Bucky and Tony wouldn’t happen. Unless either Carol, Scott (probably not Scott) or Hope would disagree with Stark, then it would go along with the original movie. But for the sub-plot (which is Hydra Cap killed Tony’s parents) would only be mentioned. So that’s mean Baron Zemo’s introduction would have to wait until the Falcon and Winter Soldier series. As of Spider-Man and Ant-Man’s introduction (of course, after Scott’s solo movie), that would be the same (unless of course Scott was the OG Avenger to replace Steve or Bucky).

Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame (2018 and 2019)

Two plot summaries from IMDB... (Points number 1 and 2 will be for Infinity War from both scenarios and points 2 and 4 will be for Endgame)

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artefacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment, the fate of Earth and existence has never been more uncertain.”

“After half of all life is snapped away by Thanos, the Avengers are left scattered and divided. Now with a way to reverse the damage, the Avengers and their allies must assemble once more and learn to put differences aside in order to work together and set things right. Along the way, the Avengers realise that sacrifices must be made as they prepare for the ultimate final showdown with Thanos, which will result in the heroes fighting the biggest battle they have ever faced.”

Analysing...

So, for IW, Bucky would be back as Captain America to fight Thanos with the rest of the Avengers (except Hawkeye as he is playing tag. I’m just joking xD). But instead of him being the one to help Vision and Wanda, and take the others to Wakanda, it would’ve been Sam (maybe to foreshadow the fact he will become the next Captain America in Endgame). Steve, of course, will be awoken from his cryogenic sleep from Civil War and reunited with his buddy. But when Thanos snaps his finger, Steve would be the first person to be disintegrated (or maybe it would turn out the exact same as the original with Bucky going with Wanda etc...  and Steve staying?).

As for Endgame, Barnes would probably lead grief counselling sessions for survivors (like Steve did). Then, the same thing will happen like the original. But the ending will change. Bucky will give the mantel of Captain America to Sam Wilson and maybe, go back to return the stones, find Red Skull, of course, and maybe go back to the first Cap movie to reverse the roles (so he fell off the train instead of Steve, like in the original MCU timeline).

For the second scenario, I think the movie will go along as normal. But if Carol replaced Steve as the “Captain”, then Fury would never need to send a distress signal to Carol, as she is already there (and the mid credit scene is no longer needed, but I think that wouldn’t happen, due to the fact that Carol is too strong when she is put up with a Norse god, a Gamma radiation monster, two SHIELD assassins with no superpowers and a tech genius with a sarcasm as a superpower. Of course, for Steve and the cryogenic sleep would never happen because no one rescued him in Civil War and he would still be with Hydra.

Endgame, however, would be totally different to the first scenario. There would be no “grief counselling sessions”, only Banner, Stark and Lang would go to New York (which means no Cap v Cap fight). It is possible that the “going back to the 1970s” plan could work with just Stark, but Scott would go with him as well. Unless Carol went with them, then the Cap v Cap fight (with Carol instead of Steve) would still happen. Both the funerals for Stark and Tasha would still happen. But who would return the stones? Probably either Scott or Barton.

Now time for the last part (finally!), the future movies and TV shows!

First up is the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. There isn’t an official synopsis for the show yet, but here is a Wiki entry...

“After being handed the mantle of Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson teams up with Bucky Barnes in a worldwide adventure that puts their abilities to the test.”

This part will be a combination of the two scenarios to save time.

The casting of the show has only got 4 characters, in line for the show. Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) and Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp).

And, of course US Agent (the “fake” Captain America) played by Wyatt Russell.

For scenario 1, the series will play out the exact same way (depends on if Bucky goes back in time to fix everything). 

Scenario 2, however, would be very different. Sebastian would be missing from that cast list, but would be replaced by Evans (who would play Hydra Cap once again). As for Zemo, this would be an introduction to the MCU (unless he would get introduced in the Black Widow movie).

Secondly, it’s the Black Widow solo movie and other TV series (such as the Hawkeye series and WandaVision). Here is a unofficial synopsis of them (that means it’s not official by Marvel Studios).

“Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Natasha Romanoff finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Romanoff must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.”

“In April 2019, a limited series focused on Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton / Hawkeye was reported to be in development, with the plot involving Barton passing the mantle of Hawkeye to the character Kate Bishop.”

“Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda Maximoff and Vision begin to suspect things are not as they seem as the two live their ideal suburban life.”

Even though, we don’t know exactly what will happen in the future of the MCU (especially Phase 4), I cannot say what would happen if Steve fell from the train instead of Bucky. But maybe check in with us in about 4 to 5 years when these TV series/movies have come out fully.

What do you think Jace's interactions with each of the OG 6 avengers would be like, if the ages were changed?

Oh. Huh. Mh. I mean, your changed ages thing is throwing me off. Because that gives two different answers then. I feel like older!Jace with the Avengers is a very different approach than younger!Avengers with Jace. *frowns*

Though like… Jace and Steve are… about the same age… Steve’s 25 when he’s injected with the serum and Jace is like about 23. So… to whom would you adjust what ages? Because the age-variety spanning from Steve to Tony is pretty broad. xD

Sooo… I think that… if anything, I’d keep Jace in his canon age and would have him be the slightly younger youngest then.

Genuinely think that Tony and Jace would clash too much. Both with too big a fake ego to fit into the same room, too busy pretending to be super cocky to cover up for insecurities based on their childhood abuse and hey I definitely have a type there. But yeah, I always do have a problem believing that two characters who are too similiar would get along.

Both Jace and Steve are very competitive and cocky (I’m just gonna say: “On your left” here ùû). I think they’d spar a lot with each other, train and run and probably get along rather well, to be honest. Also, if mashing those two fandoms, it’d be Jace on super-serum anyway because c’mon “experimented on in his mother’s womb by a crazy pseudo-scientist with a whacky weird substance that made him physically stronger and more durable” is really easy to read as “Valentine got his hands on some left-over super-serum or created it himself based on like a blood-sample from Rogers or Barnes”.

Natasha would adopt him. Like, as a little brother. Because Jace? Jace would most definitely admire Natasha. “Hey, you’re a stabby redhead like my one sister and an absolute badass like my other sister” and then Jace would proceed to introduce Natasha to Clary and Isabelle and suddenly, Natasha has a fan-club. xD

I think that Clint would annoy Jace a bit. Like Simon does. And also because this asshole acts like he’s the best archer around while Jace knows that a perfectly fine Alec exists. But in the end, they would bond and get along rather well. Clint would rope Jace and Max into pranks.

(And from thereon out, Clintasha try to legally adopt Jace and the Lightwoods. A smol mischievous little prankster? A competent insanely talented archer? An absolute badass genius girl? Those are meant to be Clintasha’s kids.)

I have this headcanon that Jace can cook and likes to cook when he’s stressed and I think him and Bruce would bond in the kitchen and would just… calmly sit together and read? They’re not actively doing a lot with each other like Jace and Steve, but they’d still get along.

(With time, Tony and Jace would warm up to each other too and would learn to read each other. Which only means they keep each other even more on distance because it’s scary to have someone so intimately read you and understand your hurt.)

Thor is harder, to be honest. I think there would be some hero-worship on Jace’s side, because aside from soldier!Steve, Thor and his incredible warrior-stories are the most heroic tales present and Jace would just listen in awe. Maybe Jace would grow his hair out because he admires Thor’s hair-style (fuuuck the MCU and their no-care loose hobo hair for Thor. Thor deserved complicated Viking braids. We deserved for Thor to have complicated Viking braids).

(Clintasha actually legally adopt Jace and the Lightwood siblings after Maryse and Robert are revealed to having worked with Valentine, who led his own little sub-HYDRA gang called the Circle.)

So, that took several unexpected turns but now I want to see Clintasha actually raise the Lightwoods and Jace. Like. Maybe we do some deaging and have Jace and the others be teen-ish. (Also, after a while, Tony would soften up a lot for Jace because he sees so much of himself in Jace and while he tries to keep the kid at arm’s length because of that, because of that blatant reminder, he would also be incredibly protective of Jace for it.)

Hi! First: I give you Oscar for Deep End :D Second: I have a question about the last chapter. In previous chapters was the moment when Tony must leave a business meeting, because ... (you know). And there was mention that if they have contract Tony could leave this meeting without any consequences. So here's my question: Does the ring give the same law? If Steve will need Tony, Tony will be able to drop everything and save his sweet sub?

Okay, so this is how I see it (this might get long lol). Contracting in this world is sort of like a combination of marriage and going steady. It’s a serious commitment, but there’s no “divorce,” you can just end a contract (according to its terms), so it’s less of an attempt at permanence than marriage is for us. It’s sort of like an employment contract, in that way, haha. The longevity of a contract is between the people involved - you can contract because you met on Subscene and you mesh well, or after months of scening like Clintasha. 

The details of your contract are super private and between the parties involved and a contractor (if one was used). It’s pretty rare that you have to whip it out to prove anything, and it’d only come up if there was a legal conflict between the Dom and sub or if you’re dissolving it and there are dissolution terms. Things like medical proxy and wills are done separately. They have no marriage and no concept of it. There are very few legal rights that get applied automatically to the D/s contracted relationship. It’s a negotiation between the Dom and sub, entirely.

But! That doesn’t mean there aren’t social implications. A sub getting hit on at a party can say “I’m contracted” and they’ll (hopefully) get left alone. They have parties sometimes, for signing serious long-term contracts, and a Dom needing to bail out of a situation to help their dropping sub is 100% socially acceptable. It’s like saying “my kid broke their arm, I have to go pick them up from school” almost no one is going to be like “ugh, can’t they take a cab home? we’re busy!” And additionally, no one’s going to be like “prove that kid is biologically yours.”

Tony’s contract phobia is entirely about his relationship with the subs he takes, and has nothing to do with his public persona. He and Steve are going to present themselves as contracted, and if the media asks, Steve will say his ring is a contract ring. Everyone will assume they are officially contracted, and Tony has no problem with that, as long as Steve knows and is comfortable with the fact that Tony can’t contract ever. Tony knows his phobia isn’t logical, it’s a phobia, but he still can’t overcome it. This is their compromise. They can appear contracted, without Tony having to give a signature that’s going to send him into a panic attack.

 At the point in the story with the meeting, Tony is trying to keep them casual/find a way to stop, and telling everyone at work that his has a sub that needs him is not going to stay quiet at all. If he uses it as an excuse, he’s going to have to face that later, which is why he doesn’t. If he were publicly contracted, it wouldn’t have been an issue, and that’s separate from being legally officially contracted. So it’s not a legal issue, but a social one.

So, that being said, everyone in the this world is now going to know that Tony’s sub is Steve and assume they’re contracted. Only their closest friends will know they’re not. It’s like calling someone your husband, but it turns out you never actually went to City Hall and got a marriage license. Tony can still get legal things like medical proxy, wills, etc sorted out with his lawyers without being officially contracted to Steve.

(there are still a lot of subtleties and many other kinds of contracts - signatures are king in this world - some of which overlap semi-frighteningly with “romantic” contracts, but that’s a whole other thing!)

Avengers Endgame THOUGHTS & FEELINGS & SPOILERS

These are my opinions only and I am not open to “discussions” and I’m sure the people who understand will understand what i mean by that

onto my thoughts on avengers endgame:

I couldn’t have seen any of that coming to be honest. I came into this movie with zero expectations and no fucking idea what was gonna go down. 

First thing’s first...

Friday voice: there’s something in the upper atmosphere Me: MY WIFE

(think of that in the voice of the kid in that video like “what have you got?” “A KNIFE” “Noooo!”) 

Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel’s presence was brief but enjoyable. Her dykey haircut was a true delight. 

I honestly took some real joy from the fact that Tony Stark’s daughter’s name is Morgan, because that’s MY NAME. 

Endgame treats Thor like a joke, a real fucking joke. I am not kidding when I say that he was given the shit end of the stick. 

They made him gain a bunch of weight out of grief over 5 years, grow his hair and not take care of himself hygienically, and treated his alcoholism like a huge fucking joke.

He had one touching moment with his mom (time travel stuff don’t ask), and the rest was just silly. 

He gets Mjolnir back from the past timeline, so now he has the axe and the hammer.

Uh... Steve can wield the hammer and channel lightning like it’s nothing? Thor is unsurprised by this. 

They did Clint dirty from the start, by first kinda forgetting he existed, and then giving him this random family... wife/kids. Coulda been as poignant as sister/nieces/nephews imo, and and kept the Clintasha vibes. Because YES their friendship is amazing and I love it to bits and the og Avengers made me ship Clintasha like fucking crazy, and they just wasted that chemistry. 

They have also done Natasha wrong too like just full on no respect at all, starting with her lack of proper characterization from day one, and still this is just my opinion okay? I feel like the writing fell through with her death, and they didn’t even give her a funeral. Clint was all broken up but idk it felt flat! I was more moved by Scarlett’s teary eyes after her call with Rhodey nearer to the beginning. 

Her death and the fight between her and Clint to see who would sacrifice themselves for the soul stone was already emotional but (for me) just barely missed its mark, like they didn’t build it up quite enough in the right way. they didn’t even make their weird bruce/nat strong enough either bc of bruce/hulk being pretty much a joke.

I don’t know how to feel about the “five years later” thing honestly. Aging Cassie up now, when that kid actor was such a gem!

I find most of the bad writing was because of the fact that some characters that could have made things easier for our Avengers if they’d teamed up were just quietly dusted off screen (Shuri).

I momentarily forgot about the fact that Shuri had been dusted when Cap says “we need a bigger brain” i was like whispering to myself “Shuri!” But then we got like another joke of Hulk? Like I am all for Bruce finding his stability and control over The Hulk but it feels like a cop out to me. 

Shuri would have been able to replicate the PYM PARTICLES easily, and put them to use in her lab, she would have been able to figure all that shit out easily, and so fast because she is so fucking smart. 

Speaking of Shuri, and Wakanda. I feel like Tony’s death fell flat for me too, the writing wasn’t quite strong enough. The idea that all of these super powers (and not just in the sense of people with powers, but resources, and skills, and technology) working together, is what ultimately saves the day, feels so much more authentic and beautiful.

Tony’s story was one of PTSD and anxiety, and survivors guilt and sacrificing himself and using sarcasm as a shield and he gets his second chance, he gets to be with pepper and have a kid (MORGAN I LOVE MORGAN) and have a reason to live again, and then it’s all gone like that. I don’t think so!

All those magic Dr. Strange people were there, they could have made a portal to Shuri’s lab and she could have saved him from the Damage of wielding the stones. I don’t think it could have been a perfect fix, I think it would have been touch and go, but the CRADLE tech plus Shuri’s amazing brain and technology could have saved him.

I also kinda think that Steve’s feelings about Peggy have been drawn out as far as they could possibly have gone. I think his motivations in Winter Solider were ignored in favour of a sweet and cushy conclusion. He fought so hard for Bucky, and Sam as well, and just dips back into the past to have a life with Peggy after returning the Infinity Stones? It felt cheap, mostly because most of us know that Peggy did have a real and rich life after Steve went into the ice. She had a family.

Steve giving the Shield to Sam was a very sweet moment, and I really enjoyed that, but it all just felt a bit flat to me. 

The moment when all those portals opened and Dr Strange came through with all the people who had been dusted and all the avengers who had been dusted. that was powerful. the army of support after cap and thor and tony fought past thanos.

the one scene of all the ladies teaming up was also great and fun!

Lmao Loki from 2012 got the tesseract back bc Future TOny fucked up and just poofed outta new york like ?? alternate timeline much? 

A lot of characters barely got any screentime, it was very much a Tony / Steve story with sub story of Clint / Nat / Scott and Hulk and Thor, some Rocket... but a decent amount of Nebula tbh.

I have fuel for like three fanfics which no one can let me start or even outline until I’m done my novel. 

that’s all i’ve got in my brain for now.
