Decided to torture myself this week and redesign Vreaz's family! Made quite a few changes. Simplified Vreaz's piebald markings, Heilzor and Khozai's colours make more sense now, aaand introduced some new faces! Que-wek and Kik'ettk are Vreaz's siblings, sister and brother respectively.

Sea Crawlers usually have clutches of 3-6 eggs.

Crawlers aged 0-5 are considered hatchlings!

They're much more mobile and active than adults, due to their compact size. Great for escaping predators, bad for exhausted parents.

More on hatchlings here. (The design for that ask is still relevant, except for the stinger tail)

Que-wek and Vreaz inherited their piebald markings from their mother, Khozai. Both parents are from Izvoi, hence the stripes, but Heilzor has some Xeld blood. More on markings here.

Vreaz is often mistaken for being malnourished, but the truth is he's just small.

While his parents were neglectful and distant, his siblings were kind and supportive (when they weren't playfully teasing him). Que-wek often translated for Vreaz. They made sure to take care of each other when their parents weren't around, leading to three very independent kids.

Vreaz returns to Qhuava every holiday to visit them. They help their parents run their jewellery store when they're not in school.

my family's always been adoring of cats. my very first cat was a big fluffy grey cat, the only memory i have of said meow meow is when my dad had to give him away. i think my parents have a picture of me petting him? for the next couple years we'd always feed the cats outside, some of them even coming inside sometimes to chill with us, until my mom came home one day with a big tabby cat that followed her up the stairs and into our apartment where he is now part of our family, fondly named "chunky"!! then a year later, a pregnant cat we'd been feeding for a while gave birth to kittens, of which we took in as ours :3

The Co-Worker, Elise/Elijah/Eli Mergersa (El-eeze/Eh-lie-jah/El-ee Mer-ger-sa) (all versions nicknamed Ellie) [F/M/NB]: They’re your closest co-worker, and live in the same company-provided apartment as you. You probably wouldn’t call them your friend, but their presence at the office does provide a familiar comfort. Ellie is naturally calm, but not indifferent. Their logical persona is what probably got them hired. Order matters to them, but only because it benefits everyone live peacefully, and definitely not because they're scared of authority figures such as, let's say, Orenic.

If on the romantic route: Friends to Lovers (theme: trust, reliance)

Appearance: Ellie is 187 cm/6 ft 2 in tall. They are of Ethiopian descent (Oromo people). Their eyes are a dark brown. They have a rich, earthy brown skin tone. Their hair is often worn naturally; Elise’s afro scrapes her neck while Elijah and Eli’s afro is just above their ears. They have a solid body with a little bit of a chubby tummy, and despite being tall, they're light on their feet.

The Scientist, Tarali Bhujel (Ta-ra-lee Bu-jyal) [F]: She’s one of the few that knew about your existence. All Tarali's ever known is Orenic—after all, her parents worked for them, and that's what prompted her to become a scientist. Although not ignorantly stubborn, Tarali has firm beliefs she lives by, and truly thinks that her work is important. You heard her walk into your office, and you'll never forget the determined clicks of her shoes.

If on the romantic route: Strangers to Lovers, slight Enemies to Lovers (tensions ooh)

Appearance: Tarali is 173 cm/5 ft 8 in tall. She is of Nepali descent. Her eyes are a dark brown. She has a warm, russet-brown skin tone. When she smiles, Tarali has deep dimples. Her hair is a wavy black, reaching down to the waist. She often wears it up (in a bun/claw clip). Tarali has pierced ears; a simple earlobe piercing. She has a soft body type, and legs that make her look taller than she actually is. She has a faint, thin healed scar on her right hand from a bicycle accident when she was 9.

The Other, ??? [F/M/NB] (B2): They’re like you, in the sense that they are literally made by the same company. Not much is known about them.

If on romantic route: Strangers to Friends to Lovers (theme: kinship, first love)

Appearance: B2 is 178 cm/5 ft 10 in tall. They look of Turkish descent. Their eyes are a light brown. They have a tanned, cool beige skin tone. B2's caramel brown hair is slightly wavy, and in a time of bad judgement, cut it into a mullet-type style that reaches down to their collarbones. They have straight, toned body type. Orenic wasn't very creative with their android models before you.

The Spy, Haesoo Shin (Hae-soo Shin) [M]: He’s also working for Orenic, but he’s got a secret. Haesoo is part of an organization that seeks to stop whatever scheme Orenic has planned before the whole company goes downhill. His demeanor toward you is cold, but he seems to get along with the other employees just fine. You saw him once, leaving work, and he was chatting lively with some girl, too. What's his problem?

If on the romantic route: Enemies to Lovers (read: lots of regret tm)

Appearance: Haesoo is 183 cm/6 ft tall. He is of Korean descent. His eyes are dark, dark brown (appears black). He has a warm ivory/beige skin tone. Haesoo keeps his straight, black hair short, and its fluffyness is often kept back with gel (although most of the time, it doesn't work). He has a lean muscular body.

The Haywire, Ángel Valletta (Ahn-hel Val-le-tah) [NB] (A1): They’re also an android, but they’ve gone rogue. As the very first prototype of the project, Angel's seen a lot more and knows a lot more than they should, and they plan to use it to their advantage. In fact, you probably wouldn't know Angel was robotic if you happened to pass by them in the street. Have fun trying to figure them out.

If on romantic route: Strangers to Lovers (idiots in love psssst)

Appearance: Ángel is 170 cm/5 ft 7 in tall. They look of Colombian-Italian descent. Their eyes are a dark hazel color, although sometimes it looks green, depending on the light. They have tanned, olive skin with slight freckles. Their curly hair is cut to their shoulders, and layered. Angel has a tattoo of the name “Maria” beneath their left collarbone. Their body is rectangular, much to their dismay, and is very average.

All characters above are set to be in their late 20's (Ellie, Tarali: 28, Haesoo: 29) to their early 30's (Angel: 31, B2: 30).

okok short debrief for context, karkat is a troll, dave is a human that can fly long story, matesprit is romantic partner, and trickster mode is a mode where ppl get drunk/high off a specific lolipop and have little to no restraint of themselves + gives them bright colors

Karkat paused from reading his book. That... was a sound that sounded suspiciously like Dave sneezing. Hesistantly, he pushed himself up, walking out of his room and peering into Dave’s room. After all, he had no idea if the pitiful human was sick or not. What kind of matesprit would he be if he didn’t even check?

Dave’s room was empty. Which was odd. Karkat could’ve sworn he said he was going to be in there for the day, though he didn’t explain why, where the fuck did he head off to? It’s not like their joint house was big or anything. Where the hell was that nookwhi-

Something that sounded… almost like giggling rang through the air.

What the fuck.

It sounded like it came from behind Karkat, and he quickly whirled around, but not fast enough. He saw something that almost looked like a flash, a flash of bright colors and cheery pastels, before it vanished in the blink of the ganderbulbs. Like said before, what the fuck.

A sniffle. Alright, thats too much.

Karkat whirled around, shouting “Dave, what the FUCK is going on??”, not really caring for his dignity much in the moment. It had to be Dave. This was a prank or some bullshit. And then slowly, following the noise, his eyes trailed up. Up….up…up….

Dave Strider was currently floating in the air, dreamily staring down at him and just barely grazing the surface of the ceiling, adorned with mint-green hair, a pastel pink-and-yellow god tier outfit, and red, thick gunk dripping steadily out of his flushed nose as he grinned at him. Holy fucking shit, who the fuck was this and what had they done to Dave?

A vague memory registered in the back of Karkat’s mind, of Dirk mentioning how some candy made everyone insane and go Trickster mode as their outfits and demeanor became more…colorful. How the fuck did Dave go Trickster mode??? How the fuck does that work???

“hey karkles hows it hangin? cmon dudeee lighten up a lil, your expression is s-so… hiH’TCHUh! so shocked right now” Dave drawled. As he sneezed, he lazily spread his hand over his nose, catching half of the snot in it and letting the rest of the bright red concocture mist the floor beneath him, which included Karkat. Karkat could feel the wet moisture on his skin, and he shuddered, stepping back.

“Dave, what the fuck??? Gog, fucking cover your mouth, are you contagious?? Get down, now.” Karkat spat out, exasperated at how nonchalant the imposter was. Dave simply laughed at him. “me? contagious? nah im fineeee”

Dave sniffled again, the sound much more wet than previously, and rubbed his fist against his nose, smearing the red gunk all over his hand. He smirked as he slowly withdrew his hand, spreading his fingers experimentally and watching the red mucus web between his slender fingers, glistening. “totally not contagious at all” he fibbed.

Karkat could only watch in horror as Dave slowly flew down, feet clicking against the tiled floor.  “hey karkitty i do-hihh…n’t k-know about you…” His expression screwed up for a second, as he fought to calm his hitching breaths. After a moment, Dave’s grin returned to his face, and with a face smeared with germ-laden gunk, he purred. “but i feel like making out right now.”

Karkat found his voice again, and he stumbled back a few more steps. “Holy shit, no- are you even *hearing* yourself, Dave??? You’re sick, you can’t-you can’t just pretend you’re not, what the fuck??? Dave, I-“

Dave leaned forward and nipped at Karkat’s neck and he whimpered.

He could feel it. The wet mess dripping onto his neck, as Dave gave a shallow sniff and as his breath hitched even more, the vibrations against his skin, Dave’s saliva intermingling with the rest of the shit getting onto his neck as he sucked gently and gave him a hickey. The sensation was so taboo and revolting it was almost…

Dave leaned back, expression contorted. His narrow eyes seemed to almost stare through Karkat, and he paused, before, oh, fuck, it sunk in. “g-ghh- gonna…sn-heHh..eeze!-“ he forced out, and even as he was about to fucking sneeze, he still managed a wavering smirk as he tried to stare down at Karkat. It didn’t even look like he was trying to pull away, if anything, he had leaned forward, leaving only a few inches between them as he used his finger to gently guide Karkat’s chin up.

Speaking of which, Karkat felt himself frozen in place, too shocked by how quickly everything had just happened to dodge the incoming flood. “heh-HE’tchIU! hihh..hih..h’tsHIU!!” The lazy covering that Dave had done before wasn’t even present. Dave sneezed freely and openly on Karkat, and Karkat instinctively shut his eyes, feeling the contagious mist against his skin. Dave wasn’t done yet, though.

Karkat could only open his eyes for a second, seeing a strand of snot dangling from Dave’s nose as he leaned his head back, right before Dave went back to sneezing. “EH’tchu! Hi’hishuu!! Ehtchuu! hih..ih-HISSHU!!” Sneeze after sneeze, rapidfire. Fuck, it was disgusting, but Karkat’s face felt soaked, totally fucking decimated after Dave’s sneezing fit that he didn’t even bother covering. Was this his plan? What the fuck??? Realizing that he hasn’t breathed at all during all that, Karkat let in a shaky breath, and then immediately regretted it as it set in that he probably just breathed in more of the shit.

Dave let his red eyes fall upon Karkat’s. His red nose dripping, glistening, eyes narrowed, mouth curled up like a cheshire cat, he leaned forward and whispered in Karkat’s ear, the congestion in his voice evident “karkat. lets entertain the thought i am contagious, ok?” Karkat shivered, but this time in an entirely different context.

“its too late for you. from the first sneeze, from the moment i got this cold, you were doomed. even if you tried to leave” He giggled, deliriously. “i already sneezed into your pillows, to let these theoretical germs have home there too. sharing is caring, right? and you’re going to get this cold…hih…” Karkat stared, dumbfounded. Dave leaned back from his ear, and placed a finger gently on Karkat’s nose, tracing the edges. “i-in here.”

a pause, and then a grin.

“so-hiHh- s-so why try to…t-to avoid…ihh…hiH’TSHIUU!! eh’tsHIU!!” Dave’s head snapped forward. His sneezes were getting more wet, and mucus sprayed onto his face, leaving wet stains on his sweatshirt. Karkat couldn’t even process what was going on any more. And then, Dave gently leaned forward, stopping just before his lips. “just enjoy it.” The taboo of it all… the seductive gleam in Dave’s eyes…Dave’s erection pressing against his leg… the most obvious fact that Dave was into this (and that they probably had to had a talk later, jesus, openess about kinks was important)…God, it was too much.

fandom: dc comics warnings: none notes: both of them are in their twenties, and zatanna is high key crushing on bruce. basically the written bit of this edit because i’ve been in a batanna kick lately.

"You'd think that at a Wayne enterprises gala, one mister Wayne would be one of the first people to be ready." The heel of her shoes clicks on each step she takes down the staircase, and though she might have done a little something to amplify the sound for dramatic effect (she's always down for a good performance, after all) there's no reaction. Not that she was genuinely expecting one. "I should've known better than  to wait for you. Alfred, i am shocked you're condoning this behaviour." 

"I am merely here to remind Master Bruce of his other, equally important obligations - but you try to get him to look away from that computer of his." Alfred's face, an incredible mix of seriousness and mockery, immediately draws a bubbly chuckle from her; though once again, that's about the only reaction any of them get. 

"Oh, I will." 

"Should I remind you you invited yourself to this party, Zee?" She keeps walking towards him, curious to see if she imagined that small hint of a smirk in his words. However, he finally stands up as she gets closer, so much so that she feels he'll walk right into her. Her gaze falls to the floor right away, a light pink blush rushing to cover her cheeks. She's known this man for so many years now, yet her heartbeat keeps picking up whenever he's too close, when she feels like she could potentially hold all of his attention for more than one second. It's all very stupid, Zatanna believes, because after all that's exactly what she wants. But alas - a person in love functions in weird ways she's still learning to control. It doesn't help when he takes off his shirt so carelessly and why is he so stupidly attractive.

"I remember," she finally says, clearing her throat and trying to still sound chill and above it, despite her gaze darting to the side. "And I also remember asking- no, telling you to pick me up. Which you didn't." Her arms cross over her chest, and when she finally dares to look back at him, there's that ridiculous smirk of his. Oh, how she hates it (and the way her heart skips a beat to it.) 

"Got caught up at-" 

"At work; I know, I know. To be honest, I knew you wouldn't go." Their eyes meet and she's so glad she's wearing a long dress, because she's pretty sure her knees are shaking a little. 

"I'm sorry." He sounds sincere, so of course her lips curl up with ease, her whole expression softening. Damn him. 

"It's fine," she says, with a sigh that she hopes sounds more done than enamored. "I'm here anyways, so now you have no chance but to take me with you." 

Bruce rolls his eyes as he adjusts the cufflinks on his shirt, but she's pretty sure there's still a hint of a smile on his face. So she grins, too. 

"Come on, B., I even dressed up in actual stars for you! For your gala." She twirls, quickly, and hopes that'll be enough to conceal the new wave of blush at her slip. He's raising an eyebrow at her once she comes to a stop, but Zatanna knows him enough to understand that's at her magic rather than her. 

"Actual stars?" 

"I might have borrowed a constellation or two." At his head shake, she knows the crisis has been averted.

"You look pretty." Or maybe she was wrong. 

It's hard to tell whether she's blushing again, if she went completely white or completely red. Her heart is beating a bit too fast for her liking, and she feels a bit lightheaded. And all this for some innocent, probably just polite compliment? She wants to slap herself, but apparently her body is not responding to her right now. Emoc no, eez. 

"Well, it's not every day you're allowed at one of the hottest events in Gotham." That wasn't so bad, right? "You look very handsome yourself. Or, well, you would if it weren't for the crooked tie." 

Mentally taking a deep breath, she calmly walks up to him to fix his tie. In all fairness, the magician thinks she's doing an amazing job considering her fingers look pretty steady despite her being a bit too close and easily smelling his cologne. She makes it a point not to look up to his face until after she's done and she's taken some steps back, though. He looks absolutely unfazed and ridiculously attractive. 

"Better now." 

"Thank you." She bows, playfully, still trying very hard to pretend her pulse isn't barely getting back to normal. 

"Anything for the birthday boy." Oh she's so glad to see that flicker of surprise cross his eyes! She barely (not to say never) gets to catch him off-guard. "Don't give me that look - why did you think I wanted to attend this party in the first place?" She chuckles, but doesn't wait his response before turning around to make her way back to the staircase. "Yppah yadhtrib, ecurB." She wiggles her fingers a little (mostly for dramatic effect) and a small box with a bow lands on the floor in the space between them. "See you at the party."

The chilly December wind blew through the alpine forest, as giant footsteps crunched through the snow. The 156 foot tall redblood smiled gently as she cradled her seadweller matesprite Feferi in her palm.

Feferi: Aradia im glubbing FR-EEZING!!!! Why did you want to go on a date in the middle of now)(ere 38T!

Aradia: don’t you think it's gorgeous out here? the ice covered trees, the snow in your hair?

Feferi: It’s absolutely beautiful glub, but my fins are turning into icicles!!!

Aradia: hmmm... do you think some kisses would warm you up 0u0 ?

Aradia slowly moved her palm up to her face, careful not to jostle her tiny lover. With Aradia's palm flush with her lips, Feferi ran forward to embrace them, as Aradia's fingers cupped around her to protect her from falling. Feferi realized that Aradia's lips were unbelievably soft as she pressed her face and hands into them. It felt like falling into a warm, freshly made bed after a long day out in the cold, and laying your head on an incredibly plush pillow. Aradia puckered her lips around Feferi's head for an even more intense kiss. Feferi's cheeks were flushed with fuchsia as she buried her face deeper between aradia's lips. As Feferi was savoring her kiss from Aradia, Aradia accidentally ended up savoring Feferi. Under normal kissing circumstances, getting some small tongue kisses might be expected, but things are very different when that tongue is roughly the size of a bus. Despite this Aradia was careful to not let her tongue slip again, despite the fact that she really wanted to. As much as she didnt want to admit it to herself, Fef tasted absolutely delicious. We all know the typical 4 flavors foods come in- salty, sour, sweet, and bitter. But Feferi was best described by a flavor often forgotten, umami- the flavor of mushrooms, tomatoes, and seafood. Umami detecting tastebuds cover a larger section of the tongue than all other flavors combined, making umami one of the most powerful flavors as a result. With Aradia introduced to Feferi's delicious umami flavor she couldn't help but crave another taste of her small matesprite. Her mouth flooded with saliva as her mind flooded with thoughts of getting another lick. However, Aradia feared indulging her cravings could frighten her girlfriend. She held herself back, though her cheeks still flushed as deep red as her feelings for Feferi. After Feferi enjoyed her giant kiss a bit longer she pulled back, sat down on Aradia's massive palm, and gave her a big smile. Aradia smiled back, and the two silently communicated their love for each other as they gazed into each other's eyes. The red blooded giantess began strolling through the snow once again, leaving footprints the size of a small house behind her. Feferi had consoled Aradia, showed her that she wasn't afraid of her, that she didn't think she was a monster! The friendship between Aradia and Feferi deepened over those three years on the meteor and blossomed into a matespriteship. When they finally arrived on Earth-c they promised each other they would spend the rest of their lives together, but Aradia often feared that she would make a careless mistake and Feferi would think she was a monster just like Aradia thought all the others did.

Aradia's heart was pounding out of her chest, and yet she really didn't know why. Feferi had just told her that WANTED to indulge her craving, but Aradia still felt scared and embarrassed.

Feferi: Aradia, I know already. You've been jittery and blus)(ing constantly since you got that lick! Also, giving you a better taste would double as a nice way to keep warm and cozy!

Aradia: i...i.. alright

Aradia: you caught me, you taste delicious and i've been craving another taste since when I gave you kisses earlier.

Aradia: i... was just really afraid of scaring you.

Feferi: Aradia! you don't have to worry about stuff like that! Were both god tier and you know i am afraid of glubing NOT)(ing!!!

Aradia: i know, .. i just get so nervous.

Feferi: Aradia, i will always trust you, there is no reason to be nervous!!

Aradia:.. thank you, that.. that means a lot to me.

Aradia: alright, are you sure about this?

Feferi: YEA)(!!!!

Aradia brought her palm up to her lips once again, and opened wide. Feferi stood before her lovers gargantuan maw, as fearless as ever. Aradia slowly outstretched her tongue, giving Feferi a massive lick in the process. As saliva coated fef's face she laughed and gave Aradia a gleeful smile.

Truth be told, fef was enjoying this just as much as Aradia. Earlier that day when Aradia had licked her on accident Fef had realized how soft and warm Aradia's tongue was, and wondered what it would be like inside her mouth. She was absolutely loving this.

Aradia lowered her tongue onto her palm to allow Feferi to climb on. The tiny seadweller stepped onto her lovers outstretched tongue and laid down on it, sinking into the warm grey muscle. Feferi gently massaged Aradia's tongue as she rested her head onto it.

Aradia was in heaven.

She gently pulled her tongue back into her mouth, curling it up a bit to cradle feferi.

For Feferi, if getting those kisses earlier was like falling into bed, being pulled into Aradia's mouth was like climbing under the deliciously cozy sheets. The tongue was so plush and warm, saliva soaked her entire body, and Aradia's throat slowly pulsed as her warm breath swept through her mouth. With feferi entirely inside her mouth, Aradia closed her teeth together with a click, sealing Fef in the darkness of the expansive maw. But Feferi's seadweller eyes allowed her to see perfectly in the dark.

Aradia began to gently slosh Feferi around inside her mouth, savoring her delicious umami flavor. Occasionally Fef would give her tongue a massage and it was one of the best feelings in the world.

Inside the mouth Feferi was extremely relaxed despite being slohed around and tasted. It was like a full body massage, working out all the tension within her muscles. After a while the sloshing stopped and Aradia opened her mouth, a gust of cold winter air mingled with her warm, steamy breath.

Aradia: are you ready to be swallowed?

Feferi: Go a)(ead!

Aradia clicked her mouth closed once again, and Feferi shuffled around and dangled her legs into Aradia's throat, her head brushing against the uvula. Aradia's tongue rose up like a massive wave, pushing fef deeper into the throat. Aradia gulped a few times until fef slipped fully into her throat and the muscles of her escoughgas began to pull her down. The giantess traced the bulge Fef made on the way down with her finger.

Inside Aradia’s esophagus, the seadweller received an even more intense massage as she descended deeper into Aradia's body. After a while she arrived at the sphincter which opened to drop her into the stomach.

To Fef, Aradia's stomach was like a massive aquarium. Due to the conjunction of her unique biology and being godteir, Aradia's stomach contained only warm water. Feferi swam around playfully, jumping in and out of the water like a dolphin before getting tired and drifting off to sleep in the back float position.

With Feferi safe inside her stomach Aradia sat down on a nearby rock ledge and patted her stomach. She could feel Feferi playfully swimming around inside her. Aradia closed her eyes and fell asleep, satiated with the knowledge that Feferi would always love and trust her.
