just imagining jerking off to the sight of cleo and sarah kissing
.sarah sitting back against cleo’s chest while cleo runs her hands up and down sarah’s body. telling you how sexy and wet she is, hands going under her shirt to cup her tits. “you seeing how fine our girl is, bebe” sarah giggled as she tilted her head up, kissing under cleo’s jaw, whose eyes bore in to yours and all you could do was whine and grind against your hand— fingers rubbing your clit, wet and throbbing, bottom lip tucked in between your teeth. cleo’s hand reaching down in to sarah’s shorts, back arching as her breath hitches when cleo’s hand makes contact with her cunt. eyes never leaving yours. “don’t worry. i’m gonna take good care of you next.”

Twelve Month Old.
Life moved fast. There was no denying it.
Everything happened in such a whirlwind that before you knew it, an entire year had slipped by. A whole journey you had managed to navigate, though, of course, not without JJ’s irreplaceable help.
The kitchen hummed with a peaceful kind of chaos, the sweet scent of strawberries mingling in the air. You stood at the counter, focused on decorating the cake while half your attention was tuned to the laughter drifting in from the living room. Small giggles, paired with JJ’s playful chuckles, echoed through the walls of your little home.
As you carefully placed sliced strawberries atop the creamy frosting, you glanced toward the living room. Your little girl sat in the corner, clutching her stuffed teddy with delighted excitement. Across from her, on his knees, was JJ, pulling the silliest faces imaginable to keep her entertained. Her infectious laughter seemed to chase away every ounce of exhaustion you felt.
For a moment, a warm wave of contentment washed over you. Sometimes, amidst all the chaos, it was these simple moments that made life truly worth it. Still, you forced yourself to focus. As much as you wanted to join them, you had a cake to finish—and today had to be perfect.
As you piped the homemade frosting onto the cake, you listened closely to the sounds from the other room. JJ’s low murmurs, the pitter-patter of tiny feet, and your daughter’s joyous squeals filled the house.
Even without seeing them, you could picture it all in your mind. A soft smile spread across your face as you worked on the cake for her first birthday celebration. Tomorrow, she would officially turn one. An entire year.
How had you made it to this point? Time had flown so fast you never even had the chance to ask, “What’s happening right now?” Everything had raced by, and now, here you were—your daughter, a whole year old. Twelve months gone in the blink of an eye.
The party wouldn’t be big. Just a simple setup on the back porch with a decorated table. Your parents would come, along with JJ’s friends and maybe a couple of neighbors. Mostly, it would be Liliana’s playmates from the park. That was all.
Even though she wouldn’t remember it, you wanted her to smile when she looked back at the photos one day. You wanted her to feel a sense of peace, a happiness unclouded by memories of the separation her parents had gone through.
In fact, you hoped those memories wouldn’t even cross her mind.
The sound of approaching footsteps pulled you from your thoughts. You set down the piping bag and turned to see JJ walking toward you, your daughter balanced in his arms. A wide grin spread across your face.
“She’s all worn out from playing too much,” JJ said, his smile as easy as ever. He started tickling her with his free hand, and the kitchen filled with her bright laughter. Just hearing it warmed you from the inside out.
“Oh, is that so?” you teased. Anytime they played too hard, Liliana seemed to go straight into what you called “hibernation mode.” She’d be asleep in minutes. Classic JJ effect. Joining in, you reached over to tickle her too, but you both stopped after a moment, not wanting to tire her out any further. She was already sleepy enough.
You stepped back slightly as JJ leaned in to check on the cake over your shoulder. His hand hovered dangerously close to the frosting, ready to sneak a taste, but when he caught your raised brow, he quickly withdrew.
“Almost done, huh?” he said, his eyes still locked on the cake like it was a masterpiece—or maybe just his next meal.
You nodded, glancing back at your work. “Isn’t that right, Liliana? Look what Mommy made!”
JJ pointed to the cake as Liliana let out a tiny laugh, reaching her hands toward you. Without hesitation, you scooped her up into your arms.
“Yeah, do you like it, sweetheart?” you cooed, giving her a gentle sway. Her head lolled onto your shoulder, and you and JJ couldn’t help but chuckle. Her sleepy demeanor was always the sweetest thing. She wasn’t an overly hyper child, but when she was tired, she turned into the most docile little angel.
“You really wore her out,” you murmured, stroking her messy hair with a fond smile. It was far from the neat ponytails you had done that morning—proof of how much fun she’d had with JJ.
“That’s my specialty,” he said proudly, tapping Liliana’s chubby cheek with a grin. He lifted her tiny hand and planted a series of dramatic kisses on it. “Swear she’s about to knock out,” he added with a lopsided smile.
You lifted Liliana and pressed a kiss to her plump cheek, unable to stop the warmth that filled your heart. This past year had been the best of your life. Every moment with her had been worth everything.
The first few weeks had been tough—what new mother didn’t struggle? But you were endlessly grateful for the people who had stayed by your side, supporting you every step of the way. Your parents had stayed with you, helping whenever they could. And then there were Cleo and Sarah—both absolute sweethearts who never hesitated to lend a hand.
Thinking back to the times when it was just the four of you always brought a smile to your face. And Sarah, oh Sarah. Her relentless efforts to declare herself “Aunt Sarah” to the world were both endearing and hilarious. If you’d let her, she probably would’ve gotten it printed on a banner.
And then there was JJ. You didn’t even hesitate to call him Liliana’s uncle. Because he truly was. He stood behind you like a fortress, always keeping you steady. Whenever you felt overwhelmed or doubted yourself, he was the one who wouldn’t let you fall. In the early months of your pregnancy, you had stumbled more times than you cared to admit, but once JJ became a permanent fixture in your life, that never happened again. He simply wouldn’t let it.
Of course, there had been challenges. But his unwavering support had made it all worthwhile.
Liliana’s tiny hands brushing against your face made you laugh softly. You kissed her little fingers and smiled. “If you can keep her entertained for just a little longer, I’ll finish up the cake and then put her down for a nap. Sound good?”
You glanced up at JJ as you spoke. He was leaning casually against the counter, one arm propped up while his free hand snagged a strawberry from the cutting board. Popping it into his mouth, he shrugged, barely pausing to enjoy the taste before muttering something nonsensical to Liliana, who giggled in reply.
JJ licked his fingers clean and reached toward you to take Liliana. “You know, I could do it,” he said with a mock-seriousness as he adjusted her securely against his hip. You watched as Liliana instantly settled, her little head coming to rest against his chest. The sight of the two of them like that filled your heart with warmth.
“I know,” you replied with a nod. But JJ didn’t look entirely convinced. His uncertain gaze lingered on you, as if he wasn’t sure what to do next. You knew he had a full plate—work often wore him out, and some days it was a struggle for him to even take time off. Yet no matter how tired he was, whenever you needed help with Liliana or anything around the house, he never hesitated.
Even so, you didn’t want to burden him more than necessary. Besides, it wasn’t a difficult task. Liliana was a calm child, and with her nap time fast approaching, she was already on the brink of sleep. JJ had clearly tired her out with all their playing. You were confident she’d drift off quickly.
JJ opened his mouth to say something, but before he could get the words out, a small, unmistakable sound broke through the air.
“Ma-ma.”
You froze. Completely, utterly froze. The kitchen fell silent, as if the whole world had paused with you. The strawberry JJ had been reaching for slipped from his hand and landed on the counter. His wide eyes darted to Liliana.
“What
What did she just say?” he whispered, his voice a mix of shock and awe.
Liliana, grinning ear to ear, pushed herself against him, her small face glowing with excitement. Before you could even process what was happening, she let out a gleeful laugh and bounced in his arms, nearly losing her balance in her excitement. Her tiny pigtails bobbed as she steadied herself.
This time, more clearly, she said it again, with determination. “Ma-ma.”
Tears filled your eyes. Your heart swelled in your chest, beating so hard it felt like a tidal wave crashing against your ribs. You took a step closer to JJ, your hand reaching out to gently stroke Liliana’s cheek. “She can’t possibly be saying that,” you murmured, your voice trembling with emotion. You wanted to scream with joy, but you held it in. You didn’t want to startle her.
JJ, still holding her, looked down at her with a mixture of astonishment and a soft, almost reverent smile. “We’ve been waiting for her to talk, but
Oh God,” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
It wasn’t like the two of you hadn’t been sneakily repeating “Ma-Ma” in her presence, hoping to nudge her toward saying it.
You leaned in, kissing Liliana’s rosy cheeks, your heart overflowing with joy. If only you could’ve captured the moment on video.
JJ, who had been relatively quiet in the background, finally spoke, his tone tinged with playful sarcasm. “So
do you love me as much as her now? Or am I still in trouble for that time I ruined the cake?”
“What cake? What are you—” You whipped around to check the cake. Sure enough, one side of it had collapsed, the frosting smudged into an unsalvageable mess.
JJ winced, offering a sheepish smile. “We can, uh, get a new one, right?”
You couldn’t help but laugh, despite yourself. There, surrounded by the warm scents of strawberries and frosting, your little family shared a moment that felt timeless. For just a while, the rest of the world faded away, leaving only love, laughter, and the perfectly imperfect chaos of this life you were building together.
One Year Old
The living room echoed with Liliana’s joyful laughter. The little girl stretched out her arms, wobbling on her tiny feet as she worked hard to find her balance. Amid the colorful plush toys scattered on the floor, she seemed to grasp an essential truth: falling wasn’t as important as learning to get back up. With every step, her small feet trembled, sometimes tipping her forward precariously. But she was persistent. Even when she toppled over, she would immediately try again.
JJ sat on the edge of the couch, watching her with a proud grin. Setting his coffee mug aside, he leaned forward slightly and called out, “Liliana, careful now. Let’s not bump into the coffee table, alright?”
At that exact moment, Liliana stumbled again and plopped onto the floor with a soft “Oops!” Her wide eyes turned to JJ, as if asking, What just happened?
JJ was at her side in an instant, crouching down and holding out his hands. “Look here, young lady. Even when we fall, we get right back up, don’t we? Like a true Pogue.” His voice carried a playful warmth as he smiled at her.
Liliana babbled in response, her tiny, nonsensical sounds making JJ chuckle. She placed her little hands in his, using his support to stand up again. JJ nodded dramatically. “That’s my girl! Now, let’s try it again, sweetheart.”
Determined, Liliana let go of JJ’s hands, took a few wobbly steps, and fell once more. But this time, her giggle rang out louder than ever. JJ joined her laughter as you sat on the floor nearby, coffee mug in hand, watching the scene unfold. Their shared joy and Liliana’s little triumphs momentarily swept you away into a bittersweet reverie.
You couldn’t help but think about everything that had been and everything that could’ve been.
As you watched JJ hold Liliana’s hands and help her stand again, a faint melancholy crept into your heart. Her smile warmed you, but your thoughts wandered far from the present.
The turbulent times with Rafe felt like a wound tucked into the corner of your mind. The fear, uncertainty, and rejection you’d faced while carrying Liliana lingered, even as your life now brimmed with happiness. Liliana was growing up so fast. She was already halfway through her first year. And one day, the inevitable question would come: Where’s my dad?
The thought sent a pang through your chest. What would you tell her? The idea of saying Rafe’s name out loud made your stomach twist. But was it right to hide the truth?
Your eyes shifted to JJ, who was now walking hand in hand with Liliana, her little giggles filling the room. JJ raised his arms in mock triumph, shouting, “Pogue for life!”
You rolled your eyes at his antics but couldn’t suppress a smile. JJ had his way of turning any moment into something fun, and you let him. This was their time, a little world just for the two of them to share.
Still, you couldn’t ignore the impact JJ had on Liliana’s life. He wasn’t just a friend or a fun uncle—he was a loving guide. But would that be enough? Would his presence fill the gap in Liliana’s heart when the questions came?
Or worse—would she misinterpret his role in her life? Would she see him not as an uncle figure, but as a father?
Someday, Liliana would see other kids with their parents. She would want to compare, to understand. When she noticed the difference—that she didn’t have a mom and dad like the others—what would she feel? Would she long for something you couldn’t give her?
As Liliana’s laughter mingled with JJ’s playful banter, your thoughts continued to churn. But amidst the worry, one thing was clear: you would do everything in your power to be there for her. And so would JJ. Of that, you had no doubt.
“Hey, you good?” JJ’s voice pulled you from your thoughts.
You looked up to see him guiding Liliana as she toddled toward you, her tiny hands gripping his fingers tightly. A smile crept onto your face despite yourself.
“Come to Mommy,” you encouraged Liliana softly, your voice light with laughter. She babbled something in return, her tone cheerful as ever.
JJ winked at you, clearly proud of their progress. “Little Pogues never give up, you know,” he said, lifting Liliana slightly and twirling her in the air.
In that moment, the dark cloud of your worries lifted, if only briefly. JJ’s boundless energy and Liliana’s infectious joy silenced the unease in your heart. Her delighted giggle as she clapped her tiny hands filled the room with warmth, and you couldn’t help but join in the laughter.
These moments, you realized, were precious beyond measure. The future remained uncertain, but this—this love, this warmth—was everything. And for now, that was enough.
Three Years Old
The backyard glowed softly in the warm light of a summer evening. The table had been beautifully set, laden with delicious dishes that made the scene feel like a small celebration. Over in the corner of the yard, Liliana was busy playing with little flowers. She gathered daisies into her tiny hands, attempting to craft a small bouquet while occasionally pausing to marvel at the bugs crawling nearby.
For her, bugs were still a fascinating mystery.
JJ stood in the middle of the yard, holding a bottle of lemonade, shaking it lightly as he exclaimed, “Wait a minute, hold on! You’re telling me this now? You—my childhood best friend—are actually planning to get married? Like, for real? This is happening?”
Pope, his hands casually tucked in his pockets, smiled with quiet confidence. “I mean
yeah. The time just felt right. Who here didn’t see this coming?” He glanced around at the three of you, and you shrugged in response.
You honestly weren’t surprised. Cleo and Pope had practically been living like a married couple for ages. Sharing a house, sharing a life—the only thing missing had been rings on their fingers. And now, even that seemed to be taken care of.
Turning to Cleo, who stood beside you with an unmistakable sparkle in her eyes, you reached out and clasped her hands. Rising from your seat, you pulled her into a tight hug. “Congratulations, babe. But let’s be real—I knew this was only a matter of time.”
Cleo laughed, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. You adored her, truly. As you pulled back, she smoothed her hair with a smile. “Thank you,” she murmured, leaning in to whisper conspiratorially, “Honestly, if he hadn’t proposed soon, he was about to start sleeping on the couch.”
Both of you laughed, returning to your seats as JJ continued to hold court in the middle of the yard. He’d definitely had a bit to drink—not enough to be drunk, of course, especially not with Liliana around—but just enough to be fully basking in the moment.
JJ flopped backward dramatically, as if falling into an invisible chair. For a split second, you almost reached out to catch him. “No, no, this has to be a joke,” he said, pointing at Cleo with exaggerated suspicion. “Because the Pope I know? He doesn’t do serious. And now we’re talking about marriage? Cleo, are you sure?”
Without missing a beat, Cleo smacked him lightly on the head, earning an exaggerated yelp from JJ.
“Hey! That hurt!” he protested, rubbing the spot dramatically.
“Good,” Cleo shot back. “Maybe it’ll knock some sense into you.”
JJ raised an eyebrow at her, a mischievous smirk spreading across his face. “Oh, is that what you think?” he teased, leaning closer to you for backup, clearly trying to rile you up too.
Without hesitation, you pushed his face away with your hand, rolling your eyes as you grabbed a dessert from the table. A small smile tugged at your lips despite yourself. JJ, ever the entertainer, turned his attention back to Cleo, who was now watching the two of you with a look that was
 curious. Maybe even amused.
You caught the glance and quickly shifted your focus elsewhere, pretending not to notice. Your eyes landed on Liliana, who was still engrossed in her flower-gathering mission. Now, though, you realized she’d made more than one bouquet—the two little bundles of daisies on the ground made your heart swell with pride.
Meanwhile, Cleo crossed her arms and arched an eyebrow at JJ. Her gaze darted between the two of you. “Look at this,” she said, her tone teasing. “Pope might actually be the most mature one here tonight.”
“Wow, okay,” JJ said, throwing up his hands in mock surrender. “I’ll give you that, Cleo. But I’ve gotta say—you’re a saint for putting up with him. Marrying Pope? That’s a big commitment,” he joked, grinning.
Cleo tilted her head, a playful glint in her eye. “Oh, no doubt about it,” she replied, nodding as if in agreement.
You laughed at their banter, thinking how these friends, once JJ’s alone, now felt like your family too. Thanks to him, yes, but still—there was no denying how much you adored them.
The cheerful mood seemed to envelop everyone. Even Liliana, who had been absorbed in her flowers, perked up at the sound of JJ’s laughter. She toddled over to the group, holding out one of her bouquets to Pope. “This is for you,” she said, her tiny voice filled with pride.
Pope crouched down, taking the bouquet with wide eyes. “Wow, thank you, little lady,” he said warmly. It was one of those heart-melting moments that left everyone smiling.
She went on to distribute her bouquets to the rest of you, looking so proud of her work.
Then, tugging at JJ’s pant leg, she said, “The flowers we saw the other day aren’t here.” She was referring to the pink flowers you’d noticed on a walk. JJ scooped her up with ease, lifting her high into the air. “How about tomorrow, we go find some of those for you, Lily?” he said, grinning as her face lit up with joy. He followed up with a series of playful kisses, her laughter ringing out like music.
For a few minutes, the evening revolved entirely around her. But as the hour grew later, it became clear it was time to start wrapping things up. While Pope and JJ entertained Liliana with a game of make-believe involving her dolls, Cleo jumped in to help you clear the table.
Missing an opportunity to spend a moment with her? Never.
“She’s such a sweet kid,” Cleo said, her tone warm as she started washing the dishes.
You smiled, nodding as you packed leftovers into containers. “Thank you. She adores you, by the way. Honestly, I think she’s smitten.”
Cleo’s eyes crinkled with a smile. “Well, the feeling’s mutual,” she said, her voice soft. It was a small moment, but it spoke volumes, the kind of quiet connection that reminded you just how lucky you were to have her—and everyone else—here.
“Not like his father—thank God for that.” You couldn’t help but smile. It wasn’t a particularly joyful smile, but the fact that Liliana didn’t resemble him in any way brought you some comfort. You didn’t know much about him anymore, not really. But the thought of even a part of your daughter resembling Rafe was enough to make your chest tighten.
“How’s he doing?” The question slipped from your lips before you could stop it. You hadn’t meant to ask. It wasn’t that you cared—it was just
curiosity. You wondered how he was holding up, what kind of life he was leading.
Still, it felt like a ridiculous question. You were about to tell Cleo to just forget it.
“Same as always,” she muttered nonchalantly, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. She seemed to understand why you’d asked, even though you hadn’t explained. “We all grew up. Everyone’s got their thing going on now. I don’t even know if most people still bother showing up to parties. He’s running his dad’s business now. I barely see him.”
You didn’t know how to feel. As you packed leftovers into a container, you took a deep breath. What had you even expected to hear? At least he had finally gotten what he wanted.
He was happy, and you were too. Apart, but still happy. In the end, that was all that mattered.
Whether he still harbored anything for you, you couldn’t say. Your feelings for him felt
dulled, as if they’d been packed away and forgotten. Since Liliana had become the center of your universe, things like dating or romance didn’t even register. And you didn’t miss them. Liliana was still young; she needed you.
Maybe that’s why any notion of love, of attraction, felt so foreign now.
“This is normal, love. Whatever it is you’re feeling—it’s normal.” Cleo’s voice pulled you out of your thoughts. You turned toward her, realizing you’d been staring blankly at the container in your hands. You blinked a few times, grounding yourself.
Of course it was normal.
You pushed your hair back and gave Cleo a nod of agreement as you snapped the lid onto the container and placed it in the fridge. When you turned back around, Cleo was suddenly closer.
“You know,” she started, her tone shifting to something more teasing, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen JJ like this. He’s really changed. The difference between him back then and now? Night and day.”
You were confused by the abrupt topic change, but you didn’t comment. Instead, your gaze drifted toward the backyard. Through the glass doors, you could see Pope, JJ, and Liliana playing together.
“He’s good for you two, just like you’re good for him.” Cleo’s voice was softer now, almost like she was trying to coax a reaction out of you.
Your eyes lingered on JJ, watching him scoop Liliana into his arms and pepper her head with kisses. One of his hands was always hovering protectively near her, ready to catch her if she stumbled. A small smile crept onto your lips.
“Is it just me, or is there
something going on?” Cleo’s sly tone snapped your attention back to her so quickly, you almost got whiplash. Her expression was amused, her brow arched, and that same unreadable look was back in her eyes.
“What? Something going on?” Your voice was a mix of disbelief and nervous laughter.
Cleo stepped back with a shrug, her lips pursed in mock innocence. Meanwhile, your eyebrows shot higher with every second.
“I’m just saying!” she exclaimed, raising her hands as if she were completely innocent. The smile tugging at her lips told a different story, though. “A girl’s gotta point out what she sees.” She leaned casually against the counter, her eyes fixed on you with way too much amusement.
“Especially when there are two people too blind to see it themselves.” Her tone was light, teasing, but the implication hit you like a ton of bricks.
Your jaw dropped. “What? No—no, no.” You shook your head, the words spilling out before you even knew what you were saying. “That’s not
 Cleo, come on.”
She laughed, the sound echoing through the kitchen. You stepped closer, almost desperate to make her stop. “Cleo, no. Just—no.”
The idea made you feel strangely unsettled. JJ? You and JJ? That was absurd. You were friends, and that was it. You’d always been friends, nothing more.
Cleo grabbed a dirty plate and turned toward the sink, seemingly unbothered by your protests. You leaned against the counter, trying to find the words to convince her.
“We’re friends,” you said, your voice firm but a little too quick. “That’s all. For three—no, almost four years—we’ve lived together. That’s it. JJ and I are just friends.”
Cleo turned her head sharply, and for a second, her movement startled you into taking a step back. Her eyebrow arched higher, almost disappearing into her hairline. “Are you trying to convince me or yourself?”
You opened your mouth to respond, but the words caught in your throat. Cleo’s knowing gaze held you in place like a spotlight.
JJ and you were friends. Always had been, always would be. The thought of anything else—it felt
wrong. Like it would betray everything you’d built together over the years.
Cleo’s smirk only widened as she watched you flounder. “I—” you started, but nothing else came out.
The sound of the door opening made you jump. Your eyes darted toward it, and there they were—JJ, holding Liliana’s hand. For a split second, you felt like a teenager caught doing something wrong by their parents.
Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed Cleo’s amused smile. You ignored it.
“She said she had to pee,” JJ explained, nudging Liliana gently forward. You quickly stepped toward your daughter.
“Yes,” Liliana confirmed, clutching her doll in one hand. “I have to pee.”
“I’ll handle it,” you said, smiling at JJ. But when his gaze met yours, you suddenly felt... weird. Cleo’s earlier comments were still fresh in your mind, and now, any interaction between you and JJ felt like it carried a weight it hadn’t before.
“I can take care of it—it’s no big deal,” JJ said with a casual shrug. He glanced down at Liliana, then placed his free hand lightly on your back. That simple gesture, one that had never bothered you before, now felt oddly charged.
You hated it.
This had never felt strange before. Nothing had changed—except Cleo’s remarks, which had now lodged themselves in your brain. Thanks a lot, Cleo. Really.
“No, no. I’ve got it,” you said a bit too quickly. You saw JJ about to insist again, but you bent down and scooped Liliana into your arms before he could say anything more. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him.
Even his presence now made you uncomfortable—not because of anything he was doing, but because your mind kept wandering into territory it had no business being in.
You and JJ were friends. Just friends. Imagining him kissing you, or holding you in a way that felt too intimate, felt like a betrayal of that friendship. And you were sure of that.
“She’s got it, JJ,” Cleo’s sly tone cut in, and you took the opportunity to bolt with Liliana. You just needed a minute. Some space to clear your head. Surely, if you could shake off these ridiculous thoughts, everything would go back to normal.
“Go grab Pope and get in here,” Cleo called out behind you. “My backïżœïżœs killing me. Your turn.”
Thanks a lot, Cleo. Really.
Three Year Old
The living room was dimly lit, a soft glow creating a calm atmosphere. You’d seized the opportunity of Liliana sleeping to make yourself a cup of coffee in the kitchen. Meanwhile, JJ was pacing the room nervously, shoving his hands in and out of his pockets. He wore a pair of jeans and a simple shirt, but it was clear he wasn’t comfortable.
JJ adjusted his shirt collar, his chest rising and falling like he couldn’t quite catch his breath. Do I really need to do this? he wondered. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to go on this date; it was more like he was searching for an excuse not to. A noise from behind snapped him out of his thoughts.
You peeked out from the kitchen with a smile, setting your cup on the table. “JJ, relax. It’s just a date, not a job interview.” His stress was written all over his face.
It’s just a date. It isn’t like he’ll marrying the girl tonight.
JJ stopped in his tracks, frowning. One hand reached up to rub his chin as if he was still weighing his options. Honestly, he looked ready to ditch his outfit, pull on something comfortable, and settle in for a movie night at home. He just needed one signal, one sign to justify staying—and he would. “I don’t know,” he muttered. “This feels stupid. I mean
it’s something a coworker set up. I don’t even know the woman.”
You leaned casually against the edge of the table, shrugging. This wasn’t the end of the world. He’d go, spend a couple of hours out, and if he liked her? Great. If not? He’d move on. It wasn’t like you were going to stop him. What were you supposed to say, anyway? Hey JJ, I don’t go on dates, so you shouldn’t either?
Ridiculous.
You had your reasons. Expecting him to share them was absurd. It’s not like you two had ever talked about dating or relationships. Not seriously, anyway. Although, you were pretty sure he’d had his fair share of one-night stands. You weren’t naive; the nights he came home late and went straight for the shower said enough. But what could you do? Judge him for it? He was in his mid-twenties, for God’s sake.
It wasn’t your business. If he needed that, he needed it. Just because you didn’t do it didn’t mean he shouldn’t. Especially when you two were
 nothing.
Damn it, Cleo. You wouldn’t normally spiral into these thoughts.
By “normally,” you meant before that night Cleo talked to you. Before then, these kinds of thoughts were off-limits, a red line you didn’t cross. Now here you were, dissecting JJ’s sex life.
Of course, he could do whatever he wanted. Why wouldn’t he?
It’s not like he needed your permission.
Not that you didn’t have your own needs. But after years of going without, you weren’t exactly itching to jump into something casual. You didn’t want to leave your house, leave your daughter, and come back having spent the night with someone who didn’t mean anything to you.
Maybe someday, when Liliana was older—maybe you’d be ready then. But not now. Not while she was just three years old.
JJ’s nervous pacing snapped you out of your thoughts, and you cleared your throat. These ridiculous ideas running through your head were driving you crazy. He just needed to leave already so you could look at him like a friend again. “And that’s exactly why you should go. Who knows? You might actually have a good time. And at the very worst,” you said, pausing for dramatic effect, “you call me, and I’ll come rescue you.”
JJ laughed a little, his shoulders relaxing. “You’re a real hero,” he replied with a smirk, running a hand through his hair. He licked his lips thoughtfully before glancing at you again. “But if I do call you, will you actually come?”
You rolled your eyes. Was he seriously asking? “Of course I would. But not without letting you suffer a little first,” you teased. In reality, you’d hop in your car without a second thought—even though he had a car—and you’d go full drama mode if needed. Just for your friend. Yes, friend.
JJ chuckled, shaking his head. “If it comes to that, I’ll call. Promise.” He wandered around the room, checking to make sure he had everything. But as you watched him, something about it made you feel off. The idea of JJ going on a date with someone else felt
unsettling. You’d spent years side by side, and he’d never really left your orbit. Still, you were happy for him.
At least, you thought you were.
When he leaned down to kiss the top of your head before heading out, your eyes instinctively closed. He did it so casually, like it was nothing. But you couldn’t stop yourself from reading into it. Again. Thanks a lot, Cleo.
A few minutes later, JJ was out the door, leaving you alone with your thoughts. And oh, how you hated being alone with them. Your mind always found the most nonsensical things to obsess over. JJ was a welcome distraction, and now that he was gone, you didn’t know what to do with yourself.
Because thinking made everything feel
 weird.
Even though he has his own house, even though he paid the rent every month, he practically lived at your place. You had suggested it, and you didn’t regret it or find it awkward at all. But now, after Cleo’s comments, everything felt
suffocating. Like you were looking at your dynamic through a distorted lens.
Your eyes drifted to the clock, the hands moving painfully slow. How much time had passed? You couldn’t tell. Your hands tightened around your coffee mug without you realizing it. You hated thinking. You didn’t want to think. You wished Liliana would wake up early, even if it wasn’t time yet. Anything to distract you.
Who’s he meeting? What’s she like? The questions popped into your head unbidden, and you immediately despised them. Why do I care? you thought bitterly, shrugging to yourself. “What does it even matter?” you muttered under your breath. But the curiosity inside you wasn’t so easily silenced.
When your coffee ran out, you didn’t hesitate to pour another cup. Maybe you needed some fresh air or something. These thoughts swirling around in your head were absurd, and you knew it. You blamed it on the lingering toxicity of Cleo’s words from months ago. Ever since that conversation, it felt like you’d been poisoned.
As the hours ticked by, the silence in the living room grew heavier. Every passing second transformed into an expectation—would JJ send a message? You kept your phone close, glancing at every notification with urgency. But there was nothing.
You were ready, though—ready to rush out the door if JJ sent you a single text asking to be rescued. Or even, as he mentioned, if he called.
At some point, you couldn’t take it anymore and went to the kitchen, fixing yourself a snack. You tried reading a few pages of a book, even made a couple of trips upstairs to check if Liliana was still asleep. But your mind kept drifting back to JJ and his date. For a fleeting moment, you thought, “Maybe it’s going badly.” That thought didn’t bring relief, though—it unsettled you.
No, you’d be happier if things were going well. JJ’s happiness mattered. If he’d found someone who suited him, you’d convince him to pursue it. Maybe then, the tension between you could finally dissolve. But—then you wouldn’t see him as often. Neither you nor Liliana. Still, you knew his love for Liliana wouldn’t fade.
As the night wore on, you kept yourself busy in the kitchen, but your eyes constantly flicked to your phone. No calls, no texts. You were dying to know how the date was going but fought hard to suppress that curiosity. Even after putting your phone on silent and leaving it on the table, you found yourself picking it up to check.
Close to midnight, the front door creaked open. A few sounds of stumbling followed, grabbing your attention. JJ walked in, and it was immediately clear how much he’d had to drink. He was swaying slightly, the familiar exhaustion in his eyes telling you everything about his night. You were curled up on the couch, a book in hand, but as soon as you heard him, you looked up.
It hadn’t gone terribly—that much you were sure of. He was drunk out of his mind and—he hadn’t called. At least his demeanor suggested nothing had happened between them—enough for you to focus on your own business. Still, you couldn’t help but note that if the roles were reversed and you’d hooked up with someone, you’d probably have stayed the night at their place.
Crossing your arms, you watched as he wrestled with his shoes. “Well, since you made it home, I guess it wasn’t that bad,” you said, your tone laced with mockery to mask the mess of feelings churning inside. You hated yourself for saying it but couldn’t stop.
JJ let out a laugh as he struggled with his shoes. “Actually
it was awful,” he slurred. You watched him stumble toward you, surprised by his response. You’d expected him to say it went well—but here was the truth.
His eyes were red, and you couldn’t even guess how much he’d drunk. He dropped onto the couch beside you, head tilting back as he let out a long sigh. “She was sweet, but
I don’t know. Boring. And also
” He paused, his head lolling slightly to the side. His lips parted, and the smell of alcohol wafted over. “She wasn’t as beautiful as you.”
Your mouth fell open in shock. You tried to form a response, but no words came out. JJ, meanwhile, seemed to be watching your every reaction, almost as if savoring it, his drunken gaze locked on you. Clearing your throat, you fought to dismiss his words.
You were definitely going to kill Cleo.
Smiling, you raised an eyebrow and said, “Care to share the details?” in an overly casual tone.
JJ leaned forward, reaching for the coffee table. When you realized he was going for your water glass, you handed it to him, watching to ensure he drank. “Rachel thought I was—married,” he said, breaking into a laugh before taking a long sip of water, as if he’d been parched all night.
The words hit like a bombshell, and your eyebrows shot up as your eyes widened in disbelief. You hadn’t expected that. Now you were even more curious, but JJ’s water-drinking intermission couldn’t have come at a worse time. “Wait, what? She thought you were married? Why?”
For a few seconds, you just stared at him, lost for words. JJ, now done with the water, clumsily placed the glass back on the table and pulled his phone out of his pocket with some difficulty. He held it out to you before slumping back into the couch. As the screen lit up, it became clear. His wallpaper was a photo of you and Liliana hugging.
“She saw that and said something like, ‘You left your family to come here?’ Then she lost it.” He spoke nonchalantly, tossing his head back again. His eyes were nearly closed, his speech slurred to the point of incoherence.
Pressing your lips together, you held back laughter. You wanted to say something, but no words came. JJ misinterpreted your silence, continuing, “Honestly
 it doesn’t really matter. Because
” He paused again, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “It’s not more important than this.”
Following his gaze, you saw he was staring at the wallpaper on his phone. Your heart skipped a beat. JJ’s words were purely alcohol-induced—you were sure of it. Composing yourself quickly, you forced a small smile. “You’re going to have a killer headache tomorrow. Let’s get you to bed.”
Helping him up, you steadied his swaying form. Even though he insisted on giving Liliana a goodnight kiss, you managed to convince him otherwise and ushered him to his room.
Once he was in bed, you pulled the blanket over him and stood there for a moment, watching him. His face was peaceful, utterly vulnerable in sleep. In that moment, you felt like you understood him more than ever.
With a head full of swirling thoughts, you quietly left the room, closing the door behind you. But you knew—you wouldn’t forget tonight anytime soon.
Four Year Old
Outer Banks was a tangled web of memories for you. Going back wasn’t just about revisiting a place; it was stepping into a time capsule, into a life filled with complicated, conflicting emotions. The last few years with JJ and Liliana had taught you that no matter how safe you felt in the present, leaving parts of yourself behind was never easy. Outer Banks was the epicenter of your past struggles, losses, and, oddly enough, some of your most beautiful memories.
The morning Liliana excitedly babbled about the upcoming wedding, you found yourself waking up with those very thoughts swirling in your mind. JJ was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast, laughing as he answered Liliana’s barrage of questions. To her, the idea of attending Pope and Cleo’s wedding was an adventure, something to look forward to. For you, it was harder to embrace. While you were happy for your friends, the thought of returning to Outer Banks weighed heavy on you.
“Let’s think this through,” JJ said, leaning against the counter, his gaze steady as if he could see the unease written all over your face. “I know this is tough for you, but it’s just a few days. I promise we’ll come straight back after.”
You tightened your grip on your coffee mug and looked at him. Of course, it would be easier for him—you knew that. But going back there with a child made everything feel different. People would do the math. When they asked Liliana’s age, the unspoken questions would surface. “Is it really that simple?” you asked quietly. “Just go, smile, and pretend the past doesn’t exist?”
They’d ask about Liliana’s father. Not just to you—but to her, too. The funny thing was, JJ had taken on the father figure role in her life so seamlessly that you were terrified she might actually mention his name when people asked.
And then there was Rafe. The idea of him seeing you and Liliana again filled you with dread. You’d never imagined taking Liliana to Outer Banks; it always felt like you’d stay away forever. But now, with Cleo’s wedding, there was no choice. You wanted to be there for your friends, of course—but the thought of it all was overwhelming.
JJ’s eyes softened as he picked up on your worry. Shrugging, he stepped closer until he was right in front of you. When his hands wrapped gently around yours, your eyes met. His thumb brushed the back of your hand in soothing circles, his voice calm and steady. “It’s not easy, I know. But we’re not going back for the past. This is about the present—about today. And we’re going together. Liliana’s coming with us. I’ll be with you every second if you need me. You trust me, don’t you?”
The answer was so obvious it wasn’t even a question. You trusted him with everything—your life, Liliana’s life. You knew he’d protect you both no matter what. Without hesitation, you nodded. “Of course.” The words tumbled out quickly, your voice firm, as if to erase any doubt. JJ’s smile lit up his face, warm and reassuring.
Liliana’s little voice broke in suddenly. She was tugging on JJ’s pant leg, her wide eyes sparkling with excitement. You noticed the toy she’d dropped on the floor and made a mental note to toss it into the bag. “Can I catch the wedding bouquet?” she asked, her words adorably slurred. You had to resist the urge to scoop her up and smother her with kisses—she was too cute for her own good.
You found yourself smiling despite everything. Liliana’s joy was infectious, but beneath your smile, the unease lingered. Outer Banks wasn’t just a place; it was a collection of moments—lived experiences, shattered dreams, and wounds that never fully healed.
“You might be a little young for that, sweetheart,” JJ teased with a grin. He shifted, letting go of one of your hands to scoop Liliana up, settling her on his hip. You watched as he kissed her chubby cheek, the affection in the gesture tugging at your heart.
JJ must have sensed your inner turmoil because his tone shifted, turning serious as he looked at you again. His hand still held yours. “You know I’m here, right?”
Those words settled something in your mind, quieting the chaos if only for a moment. There was always a layer of sincerity beneath JJ’s laid-back demeanor—a steadfastness that revealed itself when it mattered most. He wasn’t as careless as he often made himself out to be, especially not when it came to you.

When everyone's asleep-Pope Heyward
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wearning: +18,smut, english is not my first language.
The night had fallen on John B’s cottage, enveloping everything in a silence broken only by the chirping of crickets and the rustling of waves in the distance. John B and Sarah had taken refuge in their room, leaving the rest of you to settle down in the kitchen, which had been converted into a makeshift camp. Thin mattresses and blankets spread on the floor welcomed Kiara, Cleo and JJ, already immersed in a deep sleep.
You, on the other hand, couldn’t sleep. You felt your heart beat faster than normal, but it wasn’t the waves or the wind that shook the windows. It was him. Pope.
He was lying beside you, his face relaxed as he pretended to sleep. But you knew him too well. You noticed the way his hand barely moved, looking for yours under the shared blanket. A slight smile curled your lips as you let your fingers intertwine.
"Don’t you sleep?" he whispered, his voice a breath in the silence.
"And you?" you replied in a similar tone, the smile evident even in the dark.
The others were all too tired to notice what was going on between you. Pope came a little closer, his warm breath caressing your cheek.
"You’re the one keeping me awake," he admitted, with a glimmer of malice in his dark eyes that you could glimpse in the dim light.
"I didn’t do anything," you replied quietly, trying to keep an innocent tone.
But it wasn’t entirely true. The tension between you had been building up for days, weeks perhaps. You were always close, but lately every touch, every look seemed to carry a deeper meaning.
"You don’t have to do anything, Y/N. I just look at you," said Pope, the sincerity in his voice making your heart beat even faster.
You did not answer, but let your face draw near to his until your lips touched. It was a soft kiss, almost shy, but the way Pope drew you closer made all doubts vanish. His hand gently laid on your cheek, his thumb drawing imaginary lines on your skin.
"They’re sleeping," you murmured against his lips, your hands clinging to his shirt.
"I don’t care," he replied, the voice charged with a sweetness that made you tremble. "I’ve waited too long for this."
The kiss grew deeper, and each touch seemed to set the air between you. Your hand slid down his chest, feeling the muscles tense under the cloth, as he left a trail of caresses along your side.
"Pope..." his name slipped away in a whisper, a mixture of desire and uncertainty.
"Shh..." he silenced you, his smile lighting up his face. "You must say nothing."
It was not easy to remain silent with the way his lips explored your skin, descending down your neck. You would sometimes glance at others, but they were completely unaware of what was happening. JJ snored slightly, while Cleo and Kiara were wrapped in their blankets, lost in their dreams.
"Promise you won’t regret it tomorrow," you whisper, biting your lower lip as his eyes met yours.
"The only thing I would regret is not having done it," said Pope, his voice full of determination.
Your heart seemed to explode at those words, and you let the moment overwhelm you. It was risky, crazy, but every second with him made you feel alive like never before.
As the night continued, it seemed that the world outside the chalet had vanished, leaving only you two, your whispers and kisses exchanged, as if the rest did not matter.
Pope’s breath deepened as your lips continued to search for each other, hungry but slow at the same time, as if you wanted to savor every second of that stolen moment. His hands gently slid on your hips, drawing you closer.
"Come here," he whispered with a thread of voice, and before I could answer, you felt his strong hands guiding you, gently sliding on him.
Your heart seemed to beat so fast that it could wake up others, but at the time you didn’t care. His hands were on your sides, holding you with the right pressure, while his gaze was lost in yours.
"You’re amazing, you know?" Pope whispered, his tone loaded with a sweetness that made you melt.
You looked down, a shy smile curving your lips. "You shouldn’t say that so often, I could get my head blown."
"I’ll stop saying that when you stop driving me crazy," he replied, a flash of fun in his eyes before drawing you back to himself.
The kiss became more intense, and your body instinctively responded to his. You felt the warmth that emanated, the way in which his hands explored the curve of your back, going up and down with a delicacy that contrasted the obvious desire that you felt growing between you.
"Pope..." whispered against his lips, your hands clinging to his back, trying to balance.
"Tell me," he replied, his voice low and crusty, as his fingers brushed the skin of your bare side.
"If anyone wakes up..." you started, but his lips settled on yours again, interrupting you.
"They won’t wake up," he assured with a mischievous smile, his eyes shining bright as they were looking for yours. "And even if they did, I don’t care. I want you."
Those words made you shiver, and without thinking too much, you let go completely. Your hands moved towards his face, caressing his jaw as your lips continued to move in perfect harmony.
Sometimes you would glance at others, but their sleep seemed deep and peaceful. JJ was curled up under a blanket with a peaceful expression on his face, while Cleo and Kiara were not even making the slightest movement.
"See? Everything under control," Pope whispered, noticing your worried look.
"You’re too sure of yourself," you replied, trying to keep a firm tone, but the smile that formed on your lips betrayed your true mood.
"Only when it comes to you." His words left you breathless, and you felt the need to reciprocate the gesture. You bent down again to him, your lips finding his neck, leaving light kisses that made him barely shake.
"You’re torturing me," Pope muttered, his voice broken by pleasure as his hands clenched even tighter on your hips.
"I didn’t think you were so sensitive," you joked, but the smile on your face turned into a slight moan as he decided to counter-attack, his lips moving down your neck, leaving a trail of heat that made you tremble.
The moment seemed eternal, a mix of audacity and desire that completely enveloped you. For a moment you forgot everything: the chalet, the others, the possible consequences. There was only you and him, the dark accomplice of that night, and the desire to continue discovering every nuance of each other.
Your movements started almost without thinking about it, slow and uncertain at first, but soon the need to feel more, to be closer to him, took over. Move your hips against him, creating a slight friction but enough to make him jump under you.
"Y/N..." Pope whispered at your lips, the tone charged with a mixture of surprise and pleasure.
You noticed the way he clenched his teeth, desperately trying to hold back a moan that could have broken the silence of the chalet and attracted the attention of others. But the way his hands clung to your hips made you realize how much it was making him lose control.
"Is something wrong?" you asked with a whisper, a mischievous smile curving your lips as your hands flowed on his shoulders.
"You... know it exactly," he replied with a clenched teeth, a flash of fun mixed with desire in his eyes.
You kept moving, your hips following a slow but steady pace, while he tried to keep control. His hands guided you, holding you tight enough to make you feel the warmth of his skin through your clothes, but never too much to be intrusive.
"You’re incredible," he muttered, interrupting the kiss to stare at you with eyes that shone in the twilight.
"You’re not bad yourself," you joked, but your voice betrayed the effect he was having on you.
He bent forward, his lips finding your neck, and this time did not hold back. He left a more determined, almost possessive kiss, followed by a trail of light bites that made you shiver. Your movements became more fluid, more natural, while his breath became irregular.
"If you keep this up, I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to hold back," Pope whispered in a husky voice as his eyes settled on yours with an intensity that made you tremble.
"Who told you I want you to hold back?" you said with a whisper of voice, your hands sticking in her hair.
The way his body reacted to those words was enough to make you realize how close it was to the limit. He moved just below you, trying to make more contact, while his lips returned to urgently seek yours. Every kiss was an unspoken promise, an invitation to let go completely.
For a moment, you forgot where you were. There was no longer the risk of being caught, or awareness of how risky what you were doing. There were only you and him, lost in a vortex of emotions that seemed to grow with every movement, every whisper, every kiss.
You started to lower your pyjamas and thongs and then do the same thing with his shorts and boxer shorts. Pope was already shirtless and having Pope all naked and needy under you was a sight.
You joined your lips with hers while you lined up your pussy on her cock and sank in it while trying not to moan. Pope was going crazy: your pussy was squeezing his dick and the fact that he couldn’t moan was killing him.
Your lips kept searching for hers with increasing urgency, the kisses getting deeper and more messy, while the heat between you increased inexorably. Your movements on his hips became more determined, the rhythm you followed sent shivers down your back and, judging by the way Pope clenched his jaw, also along his.
"God, Y/N..." He whispered with a thread of voice, his hands clenching even more on your hips, as if trying to control what was happening, but without really being able to. " You’re riding me so well"
Every movement of yours was a sweet torment, and you felt it in the way his breath became more and more irregular, his eyes closing for a moment before opening again and looking for yours.
"Pope..." you murmured, his name coming out almost like a moan as you felt the growing warmth between you. Your hands clung to his hair, the touch that seemed the only way to anchor yourself in reality as you lost yourself in him.
"You’re playing with fire," he said in a hoarse voice, the tone that had a warning note, but his smile betrayed how much he loved everything that was happening.
"I see you more than comfortable with the fire," you replied, your voice a mixture of provocation and desire.
Pope laughed softly, a muffled sound to not wake up the others, but immediately after his lips returned to yours, hungry, as if he needed that touch to breathe. Each of his kisses was deep, slow and incredibly intense, and the way his hands held you made you feel wanted in a way that you had never felt before.
Your movements became more natural, as if your bodies spoke a language you had never learned but instinctively knew. Every touch, every pressure created a crescendo of emotions that left you breathless.
"I can’t think of anything but you right now," Pope confessed, his voice broken by pleasure as his gaze waned into yours.
Those words made you melt, and you returned with a long kiss and full of feeling, your hands slipping down her back, wishing the moment never ended.
"Neither did I," you replied in a whisper, your foreheads touching as you both tried to catch your breath.
The sound of a slight movement from the sofa made you freeze for a moment. You both turned your head towards JJ, who turned under the blanket, mumbling something in her sleep.
You both held your breath, holding up a nervous laugh when he showed no other signs of awakening. Pope looked at you with a complicit smile, the desire in his eyes now mixed with a touch of fun.
"You’re too dangerous," he quipped softly, putting one hand on your back and moving closer to him again.
"Yet you don’t seem to want to stop," you replied with a mischievous smile, your lips resting on hers again in a long and sweet kiss. And as palpable as the risk was, neither of you seemed willing to give up that stolen moment.
You started rolling your hips on his cock feeling how his dick went on your g-spot and you lowered your head biting his neck not to chase the moan that was coming out of you while he left a small moan at impact.
"shit y/n" he murmured as you left him sucking his neck, leaving a mark. " you’re my death" said Pope as he put your hands on your ass and squeezed it to make you move more against him.
You bit the inside cheeks of your mouth not to groan but always small groans were coming out so Pope joined his lips with yours swallowing all the groans.
"you’re holding it so well to me" I whispered near your lips and then kissed you again while you groaned.
You both came to the climax and Pope cum inside of you while you were still kissing.
After a while you recovered you adjusted and fell asleep hugged.
The next day you were all out and only JJ was still sleeping. When he came out, he seemed amused." Guys I had a strange dream... I dreamed that someone was fucking while I was sleeping, what a cool thing" said JJ amused and unaware of everything.
You and Pope looked at each other and were holding back a laugh amused.

What would they do (Rafe Cameron)
Tumblr media
Description: Y/N is now keeping 2 secrets from the Pogues. what will they do when they find out?
Word Count: 1,384
Author’s note: I love Pogue!Reader with Rafe
Y/N stared down at the test in her hands that read positive. Tears welled up in her eyes that were far from joy. What was she supposed to do? She was pregnant with Rafe Cameron’s baby and she was a pogue. Not only that but she was friends with his sister who hated him and had no idea that they were even together. It was already so hard to keep their relationship a secret but now? There was no way. Once the baby bump started to show they would find out and hate her forever. As she sat in the bathroom at John B’s house she knew that there was no way she could leave the bathroom without looking like a mess. They were all out there and she wouldn’t make it past them without them noticing her tears. She luckily had her phone and texted Rafe that they need to meet up later. She had to clean herself up before going out there. She had to stop thinking about it.
As her shaky hands went into her mini backpack to grab the test. Rafe didn’t know what to expect. She seemed off and nervous about whatever it was she was pulling out of her bag. Without looking at him she handed him the test. He looked at it immediately and knew what it was. The 2 lines indicate that she was pregnant brought him to a pause as he stared at the test. She didn’t say anything except silent cries. They were young and definitely not ready to be parents yet. He looked up at her and noticed that she was crying. “Baby look at me.” He said and she turned towards him. The sight was heartbreaking. She had puffy and tear stained eyes, her breathing was hard as she tried not to cry anymore. “This is pretty crazy.” He had no other words. “Rafe, they don’t even know about us.” She said, talking about the Pogues. He let out a sigh and set the test down. “You think I care what they think?” He asked her. She looked down at her hands. “I don’t.” “Well I do, Rafe.” She whispered, more tears streaming down her face. She looked up at him again, “They are gonna hate me forever when they find out.” Rafe, not being the smartest person in her life, had a “bright” idea. “So move in with me and they won’t know.” She looked at him like he was ridiculous. “Rafe the baby bump will show. What are they gonna not see me for 9 months? That would be suspicious and on top of that I would be living with you.” She exclaimed. Rafe didn’t care if they knew about them. He had no shame being with her but Y/N felt different with the pogues. “The only thing you can do is tell them.” She rolled her eyes at his words but he was right. He said it wasn’t a big deal. It wasn’t, for him. “Do you want me to be there?” He asked after a long period of silence. She looked at him.
Y/N had never felt nerves like this before. She was so nervous to tell them what she had discovered within the past few days. Rafe would come in later but she had to ease them into it. JJ and Kie were already in the living room with her while they waited for the others. “You look like you killed someone.” JJ joked. She couldn’t even crack a smile at that. Her face was stoned and nervous. She looked like she had been hiding something, which she was. After the others arrived she took a deep breath before speaking. “I know that you guys are going to look at me differently and I haven’t accepted that yet but I have to tell you guys.” She couldn’t look at any of them, only the ground as she spoke. They wondered what she could have done to be this shaky. “For the past year and 7 months I have been seeing someone and I never told you guys. I never told you because I knew that you would hate me and possibly never speak to me again. But I learned something a few days ago that I won’t be able to hide.” Her voice breaking and tears streaming down her face as she said the last sentence. “I’m with Rafe Cameron.” She looked up at the group. Their faces were a mix of shock and anger. John B looked more pissed than anyone. “And I’m pregnant.” She said. The room was silent for a while. Everyone is processing her words. JJ was the first to speak up, “When did this happen? The relationship.” “He has never been mean to me or said anything vicious to me. I have no idea why until we started talking and began dating.” She looked at Sarah who looked down, “My brother’s been in love with you for years.” She said. “What?” John B asked and looked at her. “You knew about this?” Pope asked her. She shook her head, “Not about the relationship but about his feelings.” Y/N looked down, waiting for the next person to speak up. “Y/N how could you?” John B asked. “I know you hate him John and I understand that-” “Hate him? He tried to kill us Y/N!” He yelled and she nodded. “I know and that’s why I never wanted you to know.” “So you don’t feel bad for being with him?” He asked her and she shook her head, “Of course I do John. But it’s not like I have a choice now!” She yelled back at him. “You had a choice and you made it a year and a half ago.” He said. It was clear that John B didn’t feel bad about any of this. “Y/N none of us like that you are with him and that you’re having his baby but we don’t hate you.” Kie said and that made Y/N smile. “Speak for yourselves.” John B said and left the room. Y/N started crying again and Sarah hugged her. “He’s just in shock. He’ll come around.” Sarah told her. “I don’t deserve you guys.” She cried. “Y/N you may have made a dumb decision, still making one but we love you and that won’t change.” JJ said.
Rafe sat in John B’s living room with the others, minus John B. The room was silent as nobody knew what to say. “I know you guys hate me and the feeling is mutual but there needs to be a common ground here.” Y/N agreed with him and looked around. “John B is probably going to kick her out.” Kie said. “That’s fine you’ll live with me. It’ll be better for the baby.” Y/N sighed and looked at him. “I don’t wanna live with 3 other people.” “Then we can find a house and buy it.” “You’ll still come around?” Sarah asked her. “Yeah if you guys will still have me.” “Of course we would.” Pope said. John B didn’t come out of his room until Y/N left.
John B never really came around. Y/N invited him to their wedding a few months later but never heard from him. Only the pity looked from Sarah as she explained that he wasn’t over it and maybe he never would be. It hurt her a lot but one hating her was better than all of them hating her. She wanted Kie and Sarah as her bridesmaids and even invited Pope and JJ. They showed up and told her that they were happy for her. Rafe shocked everyone when he shaved his head for the wedding. He had a buzz cut now and Y/N loved it. Y/N’s baby bump was showing and Rafe couldn’t stop smiling. Sarah and the others felt like Rafe really loved her and that maybe this wasn’t such a bad thing after all. Topper and JJ kept the peace at the wedding.
Though Y/N was a pogue she had a kid to raise as did Rafe but the news of Ward’s passing was something Rafe didn’t take lightly and though Y/N hoped but couldn’t be certain that he would keep the pace with the pogues. Especially after finding out he died around them.

study buddy part 2!
not proof read!
summary: in which after the first session, nerd!rafe and reader can’t seem to focus on the real work again
warnings: unprotected p in v (wrap it up!), switch!rafe, female receiving, hair pulling, praising, slight overstimulation, ride cowgirl!, etc?
previous
Tumblr media
it’s been a week since i’ve seen rafe. i’ve never been so confused about a man before, every time he’s seen me he has avoided my path and hasn’t looked at me. like he’s regretting that session.
i’m watching him across the room as we speak and he definitely knows i’m staring right at him.
why the fuck wont he talk to me let alone look at me.
i get up, on foot in front of the other and march towards him. “rafe-“ he gets up, gathering his things, fixing his glasses and walking away. actually what the fuck.
i follow him out into the empty hallway of our campus. walking at a faster pace this time to catch up to him, “no what’s your fucking problem, rafe?” my sharp tone coming off strong. he stops. “y/n-“ he goes to answer. “no seriously why are you completely avoiding me? did i do something wrong?” i don’t understand what i could’ve done, i feel like he might regret that session or regret doing it with me.
he turns around.
“you didn’t do anything wrong.. listen i’ve just been feeling like maybe you weren’t looking for anything serious, i mean ive heard you’ve been going out with other guys and not that that’s a bad thing, im sure lots of guys would take that chance to go out with you, i mean i would- no i wouldnt- no i dont mean i wouldn’t” his rambling starting to come out and he’s basically trembling. “rafe i haven’t been going out with anyone since the last time i saw you.” his nervous expression falls.
“really?” “really.”
there’s a silence between us and now im the one starting to feel nervous.
“do you want some help again?” he clears his throat, still avoiding eye contact. “yeah..” i walk towards him, walking side by side. a small dares to form across my face.
Tumblr media
as i unlock my door, rafe behind me, i feel the familiarity of the first time i had him on my bed.
rafe pulls out the same chair he used last time to tutor me, “so which part do you need help on?”
as time passed, i grew more and more bored of the assignments and studying, all i could focus on was his face and the way he spoke, the way his hands grazed the pages he flipped, the way his fingers grew up to his glasses to push them to the spot they were always in.
i must’ve started growing delusional because i swear rafe was focusing on me more than usual, like he was thinking of me the way i was thinking of him.
“we can take a break?” i suggest breaking the tension that filled us. “yeah let’s take a break” he was quick to agree. our eyes stuck on each other. the air grew thick and the room suddenly became hot and intense.
our bodies somehow grew closer together and our knees touching, neither of us wanting to move, hoping the small touch would get us to settle down.
“fuck this” rafe reaching across the table pulling me and hungrily kissing me, our tongues dancing heavily and our breathing growing stronger. we both are fumbling across the room and into my bed, unbuckling his pants and taking each others clothes off. our kisses wandering onto each others bodies, his lips on my chest and his hands removing my bra.
i gasped as he lapped his tongue around my nipples, massaging and pinching one of he wasn’t using his mouth on it. “feels ‘s good” his eyes looking up at me, watching the pleasure he was giving me. unlatching his mouth from my breasts, he pushes me back a little, making me lay down. he kisses down to my stomach, then to my lace wet panties. “you’re so beautiful. i’m obsessed with you.” his words making me melt by the second.
my hair spread across the bed, my face suddenly feeling flushed. “let me these off, hm?” i nodded. “gonna let me taste you. baby? say yes or i’ll stop.” “yes rafe please just touch me already.” the desperation in my voice embarrassing me a little, this is probably what it felt like for him.
he pulls off my panties, stuffing them in his pocket. he leaves kisses on the inside and outside of my thighs, worshipping my body. finally, licking a strip up to my bud. a gasp leaving my mouth as he continues to lap his tongue around me. moans leaving my mouth as i tug on his hair. he groans in pleasure.
who would’ve though the nerdiest boy on our campus was so slutty in bed?
without a warning, he shoves his two fingers into me hitting a spot in me i haven’t felt before. “rafe- oh my god!” a loud moan releasing from me as he continued to work his way through my pleasure. his nose beginning to hit my bud and my eyes roll back, moans struggling to come from me. his free hand comes up to massage and pinch my nipples once again, sending me over the edge. “i’m gonna cum!” he doesn’t stop and curls his fingers inside of me.
“cum on my mouth please” his desperation kicking in.
i feel that familiar band snap in me and i already feel so fucked out of my mind. where the fuck did he learn how to do that?
my breaths heavy and hair a mess. i move towards him, his mouth glistening with his spit mixed with my juices. he looks so fucking good like this. i kiss him, tasting myself. our kiss heats up once again and i feel him poking my through his pants. “let me take care of you, pretty boy, yeah?” now he’s nodding his head frantically as i palm him through his boxers, freeing him from them i get on top of him.
“let me do all the work for now” before he knows it im the one on top of him, i grab him, rubbing his tip against my wetness, his mouth dropping open a little in awe. “stop teasin’” his eyes begging for me to fuck him. i sink down slowly, both of us gasp. “oh fuckkk” a low groan coming from him as i slowly rock my hips against his.
his eyes closed now from the pleasure taking over, “keep your eyes open or i’ll stop moving, rafe.” my voice stern, his eyes snap open and he looks drunk on how good he feels. i grow my pace faster, the sounds of our mess making the room filled with moans and groans. “you’re doing ‘s good for me, yeah? you like how i’m fucking you dumb?” he moans in response. i grab his jaw, his mouth opening slightly, “tell me, rafe.” he puts his head back a little and i bounce harder against him. “holy shit yes y/n!” his moans making me need to cum again.
“gonna cum for me rafey? be so good for me?” he nods, slight drool coming out of his mouth. “show me how much you want to cum.” his hands are gripping on my ass, slapping one of them harshly. he wraps his arms around my waist and starts fucking hammering into me. his balls slapping against me. he feels so deep inside of me and my nails are scratching his shoulders and back but he definitely likes it with the way he’s moaning.
“rafe! i’m gonna cum!” he doesn’t slow down, drunk on how good we both feel and caught in the moment. he reaches down to my bud, rubbing it in circles, making me shudder. the second time i feel the familiar band in my snap, this time hitting my harder.
rafe doesn’t stop rubbing my clit. my sensitive bud making me moan out in a pain like pleasure. “too sensitive!” i manage to moan out, snapping him from his trance. he finally gets the same familiar feeling, his hot cum inside of me now. he slowly pulls out of me, watching our mixed juices leak from me. the room is now filled with the sound of rapid breathing.
he kisses my lips, this time sweetly and leaving kisses along my face. the butterflies in my stomach.
“can i take you out on a real date? instead of a “session”?” he uses his fingers to air quote “session”, a chuckle leaving his mouth.
a laugh leaves my lips, “i was hoping you’d ask, nerd boy.”

JJ Maybank is a Mama’s Boy
Tumblr media
CW: dom!reader, sub!jj, mommy kink, handcuffs, blindfold, using a gag? i dunno how to word that, sex toys (plug, cock ring), overstim?, edging, use of safe word, aftercare
-ˋˏ àŒ»đ–€“àŒș ˎˊ-
Everyone knew it. The pogues did, the kooks did, his boss, the cops, all of OBX knew that JJ didn’t take shit from no one
except his Mama.
“Jackson James Maybank get your ass over here now!” The boy froze, wincing as he knew he’d been caught. The boys had promised that they wouldn’t go fishing this morning, the shop was closed for the day and they were all supposed to sleep in and relax. So one can imagine how pissed the girls were when they woke up to empty beds. You stood on the porch, arms crossed, between Sarah and Cleo; Kie stood in the doorway giggling behind you. The three of you giving your boys the meanest looks you could muster.
John B was the first to surrender, walking up to Sarah and gathering her in his arms. “Mornin’ pretty girl.” He walked inside, knowing that he’d be forgiven as soon as he got between her thighs.
Pope went next, slightly more hesitant. Giving Cleo a shy smile he wrapped his arms around her waist, “‘M sorry baby,” he mumbled, hiding his face in her neck. “Peer pressure y’know.” The girl sighed, pulling her boyfriend inside, already folding.
Kie held in her laugh as she watched JJ, clearly scared to see his girls angry face, walking as slow as possible towards the porch with his head down. She walked towards the shop, going to check inventory, shouting to JJ on her way past, “Good luck Jayj!”
When he finally made his way to you he was tense, bottom lip trembling, tears already pooling on his lash line. “Mama-,” he begin, reeling back as if he’d been hit when you immediately cut him off. “Don’t, ” you began, tone biting, “Bad boys don’t get to talk to me. Go inside and sit on our bed. I want you naked by the time I make it in there.” The boy began scurrying inside, trying to save his ass as he went, “Mama please it was John B’s idea I swear!” But you didn’t care to hear it.
-ˋˏ àŒ»đ–€“àŒș ˎˊ-
JJ cried, trying his hardest to apologize to you through the gag. He couldn’t see you, eyes shielded with the blindfold, but he could feel you watching him. The two of you had been in your bedroom for the past three hours now, and you hadn’t let JJ cum once. He was getting desperate, legs trembling and kicking all over the bed, trying to pull away from the overstimulation. After multiple hand jobs, and almost an entire hour of fingering, you’d left him. (You hadn’t actually, you were sitting on the dresser at the end of the bed, watching closely if he needed to tap out) His arms were handcuffed to the bed frame, wrists red and no doubt bruising from how hard he was pulling on the restraints. He had a bandana over his eyes as a blindfold, a similar one in his mouth to gag him. A plug pressed deep into him, all 7 inches of it making him feel so full. You’d put a cock ring on him as well, vibrating on the lowest setting, though it still felt like torture.
You watched silently, biting down the urge to praise him, to pet his legs gently and press them onto the bed, to assure him that he was almost done. But this was a punishment, and you weren’t going to indulge. Suddenly, his legs stop kicking, instead curling up into his chest. He’s stopped trying to speak through the gag, and is now shaking his head repeatedly. You tilt your head, watching him closely but still not speaking, when it happens. He starts snapping the fingers on his right hand quickly, his nonverbal safe word, and if you could tell anything by the swiftness of it, he needed out now.
You were quick to grab the remote for the cock ring, turning it off immediately and swiftly but gently removing it as you began speaking, crawling over his body to straddle him as you go to remove all of his restraints. “It’s okay baby, sh sh sh, Mama’s right here. Hold on sweet boy lemme get you down. Take deep breaths.” JJ was falling into subdrop, and he was falling fast. As soon as you pulled the gag out of his mouth he was crying out, “MAMA!” You snatched the blindfold off next, quickly unlocking the handcuffs as your baby cried. As soon as the cuffs came loose he flew into your arms, burying his face into your chest as he sobbed, struggling to breath. “No more mama, n’ more please. Ah- I can’t mommy i’m sorry, ’m sorry, ’m s’rry.”
You removed your shirt and bra, knowing he’s going to need that skin on skin contact. Pulling him into your lap and against your chest, you mumble out constant praises, gently rocking him side to side. “It’s alright baby boy, you’re okay. Hush now little one. We’re all done. No more Jay. Just breathe. Deep deep breaths. Mama’s right here.” He nestled into your chest, mouth moving over your right nipple as he began to suck, his right hand coming up to hold your left breast, soothing himself. “Do you wanna cum baby? Mama’ll make it quick.” You weren’t surprised to see him shake his head no, he usually denied an orgasm if he had to tap out, feeling too worn out to want it anymore.
“You still have the plug in, honey, do you want me to take it out?” Your comment seems to remind him that it was there in the first place, his shoulders tensing, before he shakes his head ‘no’. His eye lids flutter shut, body fully relaxing against yours as he soothes. He trusts his Mama, and knowing that you’ll take care of him is the last thought he has, smiling softly around the breast in his mouth as he falls asleep.

self righteous. rafe c.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
rafe, who’s got an idea when he catches kelce's pretty little pouge sister sneaking back into the house in the middle of the night after a halloween party.
he sits with his arms crossed, leaning against your marble island counter as he waits for you to finish struggling through the window. the kitchen being only lit by the stove light made his figure seem a little more intimidating.
when you think the coast is clear and dust the spider webs off your tight, skimpy shirt, you start into the kitchen and are met with one of the biggest shit eating smirks you think you’ve ever seen.
“so, where’d you end up runnin’ off too?”
your heart drops into your chest as you look back at your elder brothers best friend, as well as your friend groups worst nightmare. dressed up in a plain white t-shirt, and some plaid pajama pants. why the hell was he up this late anyway?— and who was he to ask you that question!?
“or—who’d you end up runnin’ off with? oh no, let me guess, the good for fucking nothing pouges.”
rafe, was only supposed to be staying over your house for the weekend. he and your brother, just crashing here for the night since their car broke down on the way to somewhere else, that’s all! so why is he all up in ur grill?
“don’t be an asshole rafe”
"oh well I don't know," he started off, condescendingly "pretty sure your little friends acted like assholes to me when they sunk my boat." he leaned his head down like he was about to take a peak under it. "wonder what your brother would do if he knew you were back with them"
with a sigh you furrowed your eyebrows to give him the best puppy dog face you’ve ever put on for absolutely anybody. he still stood there though, uncrossing his arms and even going to make a movement to tell you to come a little closer—you oblige him.
he put his hand on his trap and rolled his neck around. rafe already looked like he was about to start spouting some bullshit, like he always does. at around this time he also started to really look at what you were wearing too, you were dressed up like a damn hoochie.
“please please rafe, be cool? just this once” you pleaded with him trying to think of any way he could just not be an asshole and be cool for once. the male chuckled and put his hands on the counter, he’s so antsy, why?
"alright-i'll make you a deal, alright?" rafe wiped his nose with his thumb and crossed his well built arms once again. he paced around the kitchen like he was trying to hype himself up to ask the question. "I won't say anything if you let me fuck you."
you laughed nervously, looking around for a couple of seconds with a awkward smile on your face before coming to terms with the fact that he's being serious. you could almost feel your heart dropped as you looked for any playfulness in his face.
“are you fucking serious?! no??-what the fuck”
"hey-hey I should be sayin' that, alright?" rafes brows pushed down as he angrily pushed his finger into his chest. "you're the one out fuckin' around at night, not me ok?! and don't act like you don't like me, I read it in sarah's diary."
you watched as rafe tried to come up with some insane explanation for why he's in the right, as per usual. "are you forreal?" he shrugged. "gonna do this or not?" you quietly weighed your options.
‱‱‱
a mean chuckle erupted from the man behind you, "you cryin' ?" he asked teasingly, just from his tone you could hear the shit eating grin on his face, he was never gonna stop holding this over your head.
sobs poured from your mouth like a facet with every thrust as the he fucked you from behind, both of your hands tightly pinned behind you from rafe getting quickly irritated with you trying to stop his movements.
the couch. thats how far he made it on the very short walk to the bedroom before getting impatient and just ripping your clothes off you right then and there; your white skirt laying on the foyer floor as proof.
he had you pushed right into the piece of nice furniture- your white leather family couch. your hands rested on the crest rail of the couch and your knees were widely spread out on top of it, from when he pushed his knee in between yours and forced them open.
"cryin' cus you know you got no business letting me fuck you" he mocked you as he pressed all his body weight into your lower back. rafe whispered into your ear while he gifted you full strokes of his cock. "what if I tell your friends you let me fuck you, what if I tell my sister hm? what's she gonna think?"
"i-" just as a breather loud yelp escaped your throat your brothers best friend wrapped a hand around your mouth, swiftly muffling all your sounds. "be-quiet"

lovelorn (and nobody knows) [rafe cameron au fic] chapter 20
Tumblr media
Summary: Isla Carrera had planned for the summer before college to be focused on three things: helping out at her family’s restaurant (the helpful daughter), preparing for college (the good student), and having fun with the Pogues (the loyal friend). But one fateful night, where her car breaks down and her rescuer is none other than Rafe Cameron, seems to send her summer down a path she didn’t see coming–one teeming with a secret, illicit romance with the last person she expected. And if her friends and sister found out, Isla isn’t sure they’ll be so understanding, no matter what her feelings are.

A/N: omg i'm sorry i know i said i'd post on monday but work is busy and i'm getting ready for a month long trip so i didn't have time to write and post but yeee here we are
When Rafe opens the front door to see his teary eyed girlfriend, he’s hit with a torrent of emotions. Worry and anger battle, but the first thing he does is wrap an arm around Isla’s waist and pull her in for a hug. He knew it; he had an awful feeling that shit might hit the fan between Isla and her sister by the end of their shift, and the sight of Isla’s red rimmed eyes and pink nose proves him right.
Rafe holds her close, her head against his chest and his free hand at the back of her head. “Are you okay?” he asks, the first and only important question to ask. He holds her close, inhaling her familiar and sweet lavender scent as he feels her arms wind around his waist, sliding under his unzipped hoodie. When he hears her sniffle, Rafe’s grip on her tightens, his jaw clenching in time with his chest. Rafe presses his lips to her temple and when he feels her shudder slightly, his pulse quickens. “Baby, please, talk to me.”
“I’m fucking tired,” she mumbles against him. “Can we—” Isla takes a breath and pulls back a bit, her arms still around him as she looks up. There’s a heaviness in Rafe’s chest when he sees the glassiness of her eyes as she sniffles, the hurt in her eyes that twists his stomach to the point of nausea. Alarm bells ring in Rafe’s head, demanding that he takes care of this—of her. To put an end to what and who is hurting her to the point of making her cry more than once. “Can we get in bed first? Please?”
The way her eyes are begging him, Rafe has no choice but to agree. “Let’s go,” he murmurs, pulling her further into the house and locking the door behind her. Sarah’s not home, and neither are his parents, while Wheezie is up in her room. So Rafe takes Isla’s hand in his and leads her up the stairs to his room, shutting the door behind them. “Let me get you some clothes.”
Opening the dresser drawers, he grabs a worn shirt and shorts, and Isla quietly takes them and heads to the bathroom. Rafe sits on the edge of the bed as she uses the bathroom and changes, running his fingers through his hair as nervousness and worry makes his heart pump. He almost prefers the anger to these feelings though, overall, he just wants to make her feel better.
Rafe presses his teeth together, recalling the dirty scowls Kiara had been sending his way when he had gone to The Wreck for lunch. Frankly, Rafe doesn’t care about it; it would be nice if his girlfriend’s sister and friends accepted him, but at the end of the day, he only wants it so things are easier for Isla, so that she isn’t stressed out about worrying over her sister’s and friends’ feelings.
He knows it’s only been a day since they all found out, that it would likely take them time to accept this relationship, but he wishes they would hurry the fuck up. He wishes they would stop making Isla cry before he does something he might end up regretting—solely because it might upset Isla.
In an ideal world, they all would get along; or, at the very least, Rafe and Isla’s friends would be able to tolerate each other because all that mattered was Isla’s happiness. Why is it so hard for her own friends to see that?
Rafe hears the bathroom door open and shut, looking over his shoulder to see Isla wearing his shirt, which hangs like a dress off of her, hiding the shorts she wears underneath as she places her folded clothes on his desk chair. There’s a dryness in Rafe’s throat as he sees the soft features of her crestfallen expression, full lips downturned and gaze lowered as she crawls onto the bed. Rafe gets up and walks over to the otherside, watching as Isla slides under the covers and he lifts the comforter on his side to get in as well.
“Are you sure you don’t wanna eat something?” he asks, voice gentle as though she’s a fawn he doesn’t want to frighten away.
He watches as Isla turns to her side, facing him, hugging the blanket as she lifts her gaze to look up at him where he sits with his back against the pillows. She looks so small, nibbling on her bottom lip as she shakes her head. “No, I’m not hungry,” she murmurs, the corner of her mouth lifting in a brief half smile.
Rafe nods, not wanting to push her. He turns to sit sideways, facing her, and reaches out to push tendrils of her hair away from her face. He sees the hurt swimming in her eyes and it makes his jaw clench. “You wanna talk about it?”
Isla sniffs, her gaze lifting to meet his. She’s quiet for a moment and Rafe waits patiently—anxiously—and she lets out a breath. “She called me desperate.” The air stills in Rafe’s lungs at the sound of Isla’s slightly hoarse voice, the words she just spoke. “Kiara. They all think I’m making a mistake, that they know you better than I do. They think you’re using me, that I’m just falling for an act you’re putting up. They kept bringing up the past, and I reminded them they’re not all innocent in it, either, and that people can change.” Her gaze remains fixed on his while Rafe feels his chest growing tighter and tighter. “They have no idea what they’re talking about. They’re just. . . Too angry right now to actually hear what I’m saying. It’s all so fucked—” She lets out a dry laugh and he sees a tear leak out of the corner of her eye, falling onto the pillow beneath her. “And talking to them right now is pointless. Not when they’re too stubborn to acknowledge they might be wrong, or that they’re being assholes.”
Rafe’s head spins, processing Isla’s words. Her sister called her desperate? He hates that Isla has faced them by herself, without him by her side to be the pillar of support he wants to be for her. A part of him—a stupid, naíve part of him—had hoped that this wouldn’t be too big of a deal for Isla’s friends, and he knew it before and knows it now how ridiculous that hope was, even if it wasn’t hope for him but for his girl. The pang vibrates pain through chest when he sees the sadness that has settled on her features; he saw it yesterday, and seeing it again today makes him even more desperate to make this right. Even if he’s clueless as to how.
He’s not sure how talking to any of them will go—especially considering how pissed he is with how they have been treating Isla, he may end up saying or doing something he’d regret. The idea of having to prove himself to Isla’s friends irks him, but not more than how much he likes her and wants to be with her. He’ll do anything to prove to her friends that he adores her and wants this relationship to work. But whether they believe him or not is up in the air.
“They’re not being fair to you,” Rafe finds himself saying, his eyebrows furrowing together. “I doubt anything I say will hold any weight with them, but I can try—”
“I know you want to help,” Isla cuts in, sitting up and making the blanket fall around her lap as she faces him, the light of the lamp glinting against her nose ring. “But I told you, they’re too stubborn right now, and angry about it all. It’s all too fresh right now, you know? I doubt talking to them is going to help, whether it’s me or you. And I’m—” She lets out a sigh, her shoulders slumping as she looks at him a bit guiltily. “I’m half afraid if you talk to them, it might not end well for anyone. I don’t want them attacking you or you saying something that might, like, trigger them.”
He scoffs slightly, though he begrudgingly agrees with her. Whether it’s her friends or him, someone out of any of them could say anything that could make things worse for Isla, and Rafe would much rather not contribute to that. She knows her friends, so he trusts her in what to do, but. . .
“I just feel helpless, you know?” he admits, reaching out and absently playing with her name necklace, noting the way her expression softens. “I want to make this better for you. I hate that you’re hurting and I. . . I hate that it’s because of our relationship.”
“I don’t blame our relationship,” Isla says with a shake of her head, frowning as her gaze searches his. “And I hope you don’t, either. It’s because I hurt my friends—”
“By being with me,” Rafe counters with an arch of his eyebrow, even if his brain is yelling at him to shut up. Is he trying to give her a reason to leave him? To make her realize things with her friends and sister will go back to normal if she left him? What the fuck?
“But they’re hurting me too by not listening to me,” Isla returns firmly, unwavering. “Rafe—” She sighs, taking his hand that was playing with her necklace in both of hers, holding their joined hands to her chest. He can faintly feel her heart thumping under his hand, her touch warm and soft. “I told you, this is all still new for them. It’s a reality they didn’t see coming and I really think they just need some time to accept it. I mean—” Isla exhales heavily. “It’d be great if they stopped being jerks, but I still want to just give them time, you know? And I hope during that time, they’ll see how happy you make me and realize they were wrong.”
A small, hopeful smile appears on her face as she says those words, and even as Rafe admires the sight of it and the dimples that make an appearance, he sees the hurt that still lingers in her gaze; a sadness that has been there since yesterday. “Just gotta wade through all of the shit.”
“Are you sure?” he asks, his throat working in worry. “I hate that you’re having to deal with this.”
“It’s not your fault,” Isla assures him in a softened tone that makes his heart ache. Her smile returns, dimples and all, as she raises their joined hands and presses a kiss to his knuckles. His skin sears where her lips touch it. “I know I’ve been crying like a baby—” She cracks a smile when he shoots her a disapproving look because he doesn’t fault her at all for crying “But I do think it’ll work out in the end. Just gotta—”
“Wade through all of the shit?” Rafe repeats, mirth dancing in his eyes and a downturned smile on his lips. He doesn’t like it, this struggle she’s having with her friends, but the least he can do is be here for her. “Alright, you got it.”
Isla smiles before nodding towards the pillows. “Bed time?”
He returns the smile, dipping his chin in a nod. Whatever she needs. “Bed time.”
*****
Opening his eyes when he wakes in the morning, Rafe is in no hurry to get out of bed. He’s got a whole morning routine to work out, take a shower, have breakfast before heading off to work, but this morning he’s ready to postpone all of it in preference to remaining in bed next to his sleeping girlfriend.
He lays on his right side, watching Isla, who lays on her left side. Her body rises and falls gently with the steady breaths she takes, tendrils of dark wavy hair resting against the curve of her cheek as she sleeps. Face bare of any makeup, Rafe admires the light smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose, more prominent now that it’s the summer time and she spends a lot of time out in the sun. Those full lips are barely parted, her dark hair splayed against the pillow. Beautiful, as always. To the point where just looking at Isla summons a sweet ache in Rafe’s chest.
Lucky. He’s so damn lucky to have her. . . And he hates that it’s causing her pain because of her friends. His own friends have been giving him shit for dating her, but they’ve shut up quickly after Rafe made it clear he wasn’t going to put up with any of that shit—and he was not going to let it slide if any of them made Isla feel uncomfortable in any sort of way. She’s already getting enough of that from her friends, it won’t be happening from his side, too.
Rafe lets out a sigh before leaning in and pressing a gentle kiss to the crown of Isla’s head, reveling in her lavender scent, before he carefully gets out of bed, not wanting to disturb her. Running his fingers through his hair, he quickly uses the bathroom before exiting his bedroom. The house is quiet, which means his family is either still asleep or not at home and has already started the day.
As Rafe walks down the stairs, he looks out the window and notes his dad’s car isn’t in the driveway. Walking to the kitchen, he pulls out his phone and texts his old man.
To: Dad
I don’t have any meetings today, but do you need me for anything important?
Rafe begins pulling out ingredients to make breakfast when his dad responds.
From: Dad
No, nothing I can’t handle. Why? Playing hooky?
To: Dad
I wanted to spend the day with Isla. She’s going through a hard time.
From: Dad
Of course, kiddo. Take care of your girl.
Rafe smiles briefly at his dad’s message before putting his phone on the counter and getting to work, grateful to be a part of the family business so he doesn’t have to answer to anyone other than his dad. Until Rafe takes over, but that won’t be for another couple of years. He’s perfectly fine in putting off that weight of responsibility.
So now, he works on cooking breakfast, relieved that they have all of the ingredients for him to make some omelets. Pulling out some tomatoes, onions, and green peppers, Rafe begins to chop them up. The coffee is brewing and he’s got slices of bread in the toaster, ready to toast, as he pours the cheesy and vegetable omelet mixture onto the pan. The aroma hits him as it cooks, the sizzle of the eggs distracting him from the sound of footsteps entering the kitchen.
“That smells delicious,” Isla muses from behind him, bringing a smile to Rafe’s face when he feels her arms slide around his waist as she comes to stand at his side. His free arm hooks around her shoulders, his other hand holding the spatula, and Rafe presses a kiss to the top of her head, her dark hair in waves down her shoulders. “How’d you sleep?”
“Good,” Isla answers softly, her voice still sleepy as she cuddles into him. Rafe smiles, holding her close as he cooks their breakfast. “Your bed is stupidly comfortable.”
Rafe chortles quietly as he flips an omelet. “You can stay here whenever you want, baby,” he murmurs, meaning every word as he feels Isla relax against him. He hates seeing her upset, feels an intense combination of anger and concern whenever he sees the tears in her eyes. It goes against his nature to not confront Isla’s friends and sister for how they’ve made her feel. They made her cry and he’s supposed to just sit back and let it happen?
He knows Isla said he shouldn’t interfere out of fear that it could make things worse and he respects it because those are her friends. It’s already complicated, and he doesn’t want to fuck things up more. Keeping his mouth shut, though, is difficult because all he wants to do is take care of Isla, in every way possible. If he can’t tell her friends to lay the fuck off, the least he can do is just be here for her. And being right next to her is his favorite place to be.
“Want some help?” Isla asks, her gaze looking around, and Rafe can tell she wants to do something to keep herself occupied.
“Yeah. You wanna get our coffee?” he asks, nodding towards the Keurig.
Isla hums in affirmation. He feels her rise up on her toes, though, before her lips press to his cheek, and Rafe smiles at the sweet kiss as she moves to make their coffee. “When are you going to work?” she asks.
“I’m not,” Rafe answers. When she throws him a quizzical—yet hopeful—look, he chuckles. “Took the day off because I wanted to spend it with you.” When Isla’s lips part in surprise, Rafe pauses before sucking a breath through his teeth, realizing he may have gotten ahead of himself. “But I should’ve checked if you had plans today already.”
She lets out a laugh, the sound lightening his chest as she gives a shake of her head. “No other plans,” she says, the Keurig now on as she walks back over to him. “You have something in mind?”
Rafe plates one of the omelets and pushes down the lever of the toaster. “How ’bout a beach day?” he asks, nodding towards the window that shows clear blue skies. “It’s the perfect beach day, I think.”
Isla’s gaze flicks towards the window before a smile grows on her face. Dimples and all. Rafe’s heart pounds. “Yeah, that sounds fun,” she agrees with a gentle nod. “I’m gonna need to head home to grab my bathing suit and—you mind if I surf?”
Rafe snorts out a laugh as he plates the second omelet. “Why would I mind?” Shooting her a smirk, he adds, “You’re not getting me on a board, though.”
She mirrors his smirk, shrugging a shoulder. “We’ll see.”
When breakfast is ready, Rafe sets the small round table by the glass wall looking into the backyard. Isla laughs when, after she sits, Rafe grips the bottom of her chair and drags her towards him so she’s as close as she can be. The morning sunlight bathes into the room as Isla pulls her hair up in a bun, a few wavy tendrils escaping and framing her heart shaped face. She’s glowing, even if her eyes are a little red rimmed—but she’s smiling, and he doesn’t want that to disappear.
“This is so good,” she mumbles after swallowing the first bite of egg and toast, widening her eyes at Rafe from where she sits on his left. As she reaches for her mug, she adds, “Gonna need you to make me breakfast, like, every day.”
Rafe grins, arching an eyebrow. “You won’t hear any arguments from me,” he answers.
“Been holding out on me,” she mumbles, shooting him a feigned glare as she eats. “We should have you work at the Wreck. That’d really set Kie off.”
Rafe scoffs, leaning back in the chair as he grabs his own mug. “She might kill us,” he points out.
Isla scoffs after swallowing her bite. “I’d like to see her try.” Sigh, she leans back as well, right leg crossing over her knee as she shakes her head and looks at him. “I don’t wanna think about what happened yesterday, okay? I just—we move forward. Whatever the hell’s gonna happen, is gonna happen. I’m fine.”
When Rafe meets her gaze pointedly, not wanting her to lie to him, she huffs. “I will be fine,” she corrects begrudgingly. Putting her mug down, she reaches towards him and rests her hand at the back of her head. He leans his head back slightly, more into her touch as he feels her fingers in his heart, the sensation one he loves feelings as much as she loves doing it. “Thank you for breakfast.”
His hand rests on her knee. “Literally any time.”
“Is your family home?” she asks as they return to eating.
“Dad and Rose are at work,” he answers, his gaze sliding in the direction of the stairs. “Wheezie’s probably asleep and Sarah. . .” He trails off with a confused stretch of her name. “She’s either also asleep or spent the night at John B’s. I can’t keep track anymore.”
Isla hums in acknowledgement, gaze dropping to her plate as she goes to take another bite. But Rafe catches the melancholy look that darkens her eyes, and Rafe wants to desperately get rid of that look. “So! Shower after breakfast and then the beach?”
Isla nods, looking at him with a gentle smile. “Sounds good.”
They finish up breakfast and Isla helps Rafe clear the table even though he tries to gently bump her hip out of the way, but she only shoots him an easy smile as she helps him load the dishwasher. It doesn’t take long for them to head back to his room without running into either of his sisters, and as Rafe opens his closet door, he glances at Isla over his shoulder.
“You wanna shower first?”
She looks at him, gaze flickering up from her phone. A smile tugs at the corner of her mouth. “Or we can shower together,” she suggests, cheeks prettily pink.
She doesn’t have to tell him twice.
Five minutes later, they’re under the hot spray of his shower, massaging shampoo into their hair and Rafe can’t help but smirk at the fact that Isla is going to smell like him afterwards. “Ugh, this feels so good,” Isla moans in satisfaction when she stands under the spray, washing the shampoo out with her head tilted back and eyes closed—and utterly oblivious to Rafe’s hungry gaze.
His breathing shallows out as he watches rivulets of water trail down the swells of her breasts, a delicious handful as his mouth waters with the need to get those pert nipples in his mouth, just a few shades darker than the smooth brown of her flawless skin. Before he can even think about it, Rafe’s hands are reaching forward until they’re resting on the swell of her hips, prompting Isla’s eyes to open to meet his immediately.
The green of her eyes always takes his breath away, reminding him of the deep green of tree leaves when spring and summer meet. His new favorite color, he admires, as he pulls her close until their fronts are pressed together, feeling the perfect mounds of her breasts against his torso as she looks up at him with arched eyebrows as she pushes her dark hair until it’s slicked back.
“Can I help you?” she inquires playfully as he admires the way droplets of water caught on her eyelashes. A smile dances on the edge of her mouth, showing off those dimples he’s obsessed with.
“Just admirin’,” Rafe answers, his thumbs rubbing circles on her hips as the water surrounds them both.
Isla’s grin widens, effectively deepening her dimples. It makes him weak in the damn knees. “Maybe you should be showering instead.”
Rafe scoffs out a laugh, tilting his head. “Isn’t that why you asked me to shower with you?” he muses with a slow growing grin, looking down at her. He raises his hands, cupping her cheeks, her face heart shaped and perfectly sized to fit in the palms of his hands as he wipes droplets of water away from the apples of her cheeks, though new drops replace them. He is sure his heart does a somersault in his chest when she squints her eyes with that grin she gives him. “Pretty sure it wasn’t for just showering.”
“Oh, so you can read my mind now, huh?” Isla asks, her own arms winding around him and Rafe’s grin widens impossibly when he feels her familiar touch cup his ass as she pushes herself closer into him. When Rafe hums his affirmative, Isla laughs and he watches as she goes on the tips of her toes and tilts her chin up to him.
“Yeah, baby, I can read your mind,” Rafe murmurs before kissing her, using his grasp on her cheeks, his pinkies under her jaw, to tilt her head back up. Rafe groans appreciatively when her lips open under his almost immediately, always loving how responsive she is as his hands bury in the thick of her wet hair, feeling her fingers run up and down his back as Rafe turns her until her back is against the wall.
Isla’s back arches, her nails digging into his back as she gasps, “Oh, my God, that’s cold.” She laughs, the pretty sound echoing off the tiles of the shower as her arm hooks around his neck and Rafe keeps kissing her smiling lips.
“Want me to turn?” he asks, thinking of her comfort even as he nips at her lower lip.
“Nuh-uh,” she murmurs with a shake of her head, returning the kiss eagerly. “Just want you.”
Well, he’s never one to deny her anything, shooting her a smirk as he lowers down to his knees, trailing kisses down her body as he does. His gaze never leaves Isla’s face, her cheeks flushed and lips kiss swollen as her chest moves quickly with the way her breathing grows shallow with every kiss he places across the planes of her stomach and her hip bones as his fingers brush and down the backs of her thighs.
The hot shower spray hits his back and shoulders as he kisses up the inside of her thighs before he licks up her center. He earns an instant reaction from her in the way she cries out and her hand finds home at the back of his head, fingers sliding through the short wet strands of his hair as Rafe licks into her. She tugs, he groans, and her body shudders as his tongue flicks her clit and when Rafe flickers up, he sees her tilting her head back and her free hand pressed to her mouth to silence the sounds escaping.
And Rafe won’t have that.
“What’re you doing?” he asks lowly, looking up at her but not fully pulling away, teasingly using his tongue to trace her lips from where he remains kneeling. “Let me hear you.”
Isla shakes her head, skin flushed, and Rafe knows it’s from both the hot shower and from him licking and sucking at her. Through her fingers, she gasps out, “Your sisters—”
“They can’t hear shit from here,” Rafe says, his words coming out as a low growl. When he sucks her clit into his mouth, Isla lets out a sharp cry, the sound just as loud as he wants, and he grunts in satisfaction. “That’s it, baby.”
He feasts on her as if he didn’t just have breakfast, spreading her open with his fingers and diving his tongue in as deeply as he can, drunk on the taste of her as he feels her tremble under his touch. He’s obsessed, honestly, with how her body reacts to him; every ragged breath and desperate moan and quiver of her muscles all the while her fingers tighten in his hair.
“God—oh, God, yes,” she moans, her hips moving with him, grinding her pussy against his mouth “Just—I’m so close—”
Another suck of her clit and she falls apart with a sharp cry and Rafe groans as the sweet, familiar taste of her hits his tongue, taking everything she’s giving him and letting her ride her climax on his tongue. She grows limp but Rafe’s hold on her his tight as he rises to his full height, and although Isla is catching her breath, she doesn’t hesitate in surging up and kissing him.
Their tongues meet and Isla moans softly as she no doubt tastes him on her tongue and it sends a rush of hot blood straight to his cock, making him realize just how painfully hard he is. “Fuck,” he hisses when Isla’s hand wraps around his cock.
“Need you inside of me,” she says into their kiss—if it can be classified as that, with just their lips sliding against one another, breathing together. “Now, Rafe.”
His lips quirk up in a breathless sort of a smirk, his pulse electric when she gives a slow, teasing pump of his cock. “Love it when you get bossy,” he murmurs as his hands slide to her hips, then lower to her thighs.
“I prefer to call it knowing what I like,” she laughs gently as he grips the back of her thighs. “Now?” she asks knowingly.
Rafe nips at her bottom lip. “Now.”
She jumps up carefully, Rafe’s grip secure on her thighs as she wraps her legs around him, her arms around his neck and lips finding his again under the spray of water. Isla’s hand, wrapped around his cock, guides him towards her entrance, and all Rafe can think is that he wouldn’t mind adding this to his morning routine.

Baby on the way : JJ Maybank x reader
Summary:  JJ and his girlfriend (reader named Grace) become young parents.
Warnings: English is not my first language (use of iphone translator), I don’t use y/n (reader is called Grace or Gigi as JJ calls her), Other than that, I think it’s pure fluff.
A/n: I’m receiving requests from JJ and Rafe, (im hoped to improve my level of English soon to stop using the iPhone translator) Based on S4 after buying the house from the bank, enjoy.

I held the test in my hands, with the words confirming what I had been feeling for days: Positive. That word seemed so small, but it carried an immense weight. My mind was in chaos.
I didn’t know whether to cry, scream, or just stay silent until the world stopped spinning.
How was I going to tell JJ? I couldn’t imagine his reaction, and that terrified me. We had been through so much together, but this was different. This was... too real.
I closed my eyes for a moment and tried to calm myself. The sound of the birds outside the house helped a little, though not enough.
I walked toward the dock, hoping the salty breeze would clear the knot in my throat. I saw him from a distance, laughing with Pope and John B, as if the world were simple, as if nothing mattered more than the moment. For a second, I wished things could stay that way, uncomplicated. But then, JJ saw me.
His smile slowly faded, and his expression turned serious. He knew me too well. He could tell something was wrong.
When he reached me, I felt like I could barely breathe. My heart was pounding so loudly I thought he could hear it.
“Is everything okay?” he asked, with that mix of concern and tenderness that always broke me. I shook my head because I knew I couldn’t lie to him, not this time.
“You’re worrying me, Gigi
” he said, stepping closer.
My hands trembled. I tried to stop them, to stay strong, but I couldn’t. I had to say it. There was no other choice. I took a breath, though it felt like I was running out of air, and finally, I let it out.
“I’m pregnant
”
I said it so softly I almost didn’t hear myself, but he did. I saw it in his eyes. His expression changed in an instant. First, surprise, then confusion, and something else I couldn’t identify. I wasn’t sure if it was fear or something like happiness, but it was clear he didn’t know what to feel either.
“Are you... sure?”he asked, his voice trembling.
“Yes
 I’m sure. I took a test, and... it’s positive.”
When I finally dared to look at him, I found those blue eyes that had captured me from the beginning. This time, there was no trace of the confidence he usually projected. It was like he was as scared as I was. But then, something changed. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close.
“Wow
” he murmured, as if trying to find the right words. “This is unexpected, but
 we’re in this together, right?”
The knot in my chest loosened a little, and for the first time, I felt like I could breathe. I didn’t know how we were going to face this or what it meant for us, but at least I wasn’t alone. JJ was here, and that was all I needed at that moment.
I never thought JJ would be capable of transforming the way he did. Being young parents wasn’t something we had planned, but seeing him so committed and dedicated made me feel that, maybe, everything would be okay.
He made the hardest days more bearable, and even when I felt exhausted or sick, his presence always gave me strength.
Morning sickness became my constant enemy in the early weeks. Every morning I woke up with that nauseous feeling in my stomach, and although just the smell of food made it worse, JJ was there, patiently trying to get me to eat something.
He would wake up earlier than I did to prepare toast or crackers, whatever I could tolerate. He never complained, not even when I asked him to move anything with a smell I couldn't stand.
Today was a calm, sunny day. I sat in the porch hammock, enjoying a bit of peace as a book rested in my lap and the wind tousled my hair. My hands instinctively rested on my growing belly. I couldn’t help but think about the little life growing inside me. It was a strange and wonderful feeling all at once.
Suddenly, JJ appeared with a smile, holding a bag in his hand. As soon as I saw what was inside, I knew what it was: strawberries with cream. My favorite craving of the past few days. I laughed, surprised and grateful at the same time.
“Hi, beautiful”he said with that smile of his that always disarmed me. “I brought you your strawberries with cream.”
My eyes lit up when I saw him, and I couldn’t help but smile.
“You’re the best, you know that?” I told him as I made space in the hammock for him to sit next to me.
JJ set the bag on my lap and sat beside me.
“Anything for you, babe” he replied, winking at me. “You and she deserve the best.”
“she?” I asked, raising an eyebrow, amused. “How do you know it’s going to be a girl?”
He shrugged, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
“I have a feeling” he said, with a confident smile. I laughed, both amused and surprised by his certainty.
“Now you can guess the baby’s gender too?“ I joked.
He simply smiled with that mischievous look he was known for, took a strawberry with cream, and brought it to my lips. I took a small bite, savoring the sweet flavor. It was so simple, yet so special.
“And what will you do if it’s a boy?” I asked with a playful smile as I chewed.
“Then I’ll have guessed wrong” he said, shrugging before bringing another strawberry to his mouth. “But I don’t think so. My intuition never fails me.”
“You’re impossible” I replied, laughing. “And if you’re right? What will we call her, if it’s a girl?”
JJ paused for a moment, then his eyes lit up.
“Kai”  he said, with a mix of excitement and tenderness. “It means ‘Sea’ in Hawaiian."
I felt something stir inside me when I heard that name. I repeated it softly, savoring its meaning, imagining our daughter and how it would feel to call her that.
“It’s perfect” I told him, with a smile I couldn’t hide.
At that moment, with the sun shining down on us and his presence beside me, I felt that despite the fears and doubts, we were building something beautiful. Kai. Our little Kai.
“What about you, little one? Do you like Kai?“ JJ asked with a smile, gently rubbing my belly. His voice was soft, as if he were already talking directly to her, as if they already shared a special bond.
And then, I felt it. Something moved inside me. It wasn’t the first time, but this time it was different, stronger, clearer. My breath caught for a moment, surprised by that small but powerful connection that reminded me our baby was there, growing, becoming a part of us.
JJ looked at me with wide eyes, surprised and excited at the same time.
“Did you feel that?” he asked, his tone full of awe. I nodded slowly, still processing the sensation.
“Yes... “  I murmured, my voice filled with emotion. He couldn’t hide the smile that spread across his face. He placed his hand back on my belly, as if he expected to feel it too, as if he wanted to make sure he hadn’t imagined it.
“It’s amazing...” he whispered, almost to himself, as his fingers traced small circles on my skin. “Our Kai... she’s already here, making herself known.”
Tears filled my eyes, but this time they weren’t out of fear or uncertainty. They were tears of pure happiness, of gratitude for this shared moment, for knowing that, despite everything, we were in this together.
JJ looked up and saw my teary eyes.
“Are you okay?“ he asked, his voice filled with concern for a second.
“Yes...” I replied with a smile I couldn’t contain. “It’s just that... all of this makes me feel that, really, everything is going to be okay.”
He hugged me, pressing his forehead against mine.
“ It’s going to be more than okay, Grace. We’re going to be an amazing team. You, me, and our little Kai”
And in that moment, with his hand still on my belly and the sensation of the baby moving inside me, I knew he was right. Everything would be okay.
We didn’t live in a huge house with hundreds of rooms in Figure Height, yet we put all our effort into making the place where the baby would sleep special. We started with the smallest details, choosing each object and color with such care, as if we were creating our own home within that space.
Our room, though not very big, was cozy and perfect for what we needed.
JJ was so involved in the process that he couldn’t stop commenting on the "perfect touches" he had chosen. We created a place where she could grow up surrounded by love and tranquility, and although it wasn’t easy to make decisions, every choice seemed to fall into place little by little.
Once we placed the crib next to our bed, we began working on the small details: soft white curtains that let in natural light, one of those crib mobiles with sea animals because JJ loved the idea of our baby growing up surrounded by those little marine touches, something that connected him to his own roots.
The shelves were filled with children's storybooks that Pope had given us, some soft toys, and several stuffed animals we had started collecting thanks to the rest of our friends.
Every time I walked into the room with all these new changes, I couldn’t help but smile. It felt like a dream come true. Everything was ready to welcome our little baby, a place filled with love and hope.

OBX realityshow!au
“Coming Soon: Outer Banks After Dark”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Coming to Netflix this summer !
It’s the show everyone will be talking about—a reality TV experiment like no other. Welcome to the Outer Banks, where the richest of the rich—the Kooks—rule the pristine beaches and country clubs, while the Pogues, the working-class locals, hustle to make a living on the water. The divide between these two worlds has fueled decades of tension, and now, it’s about to hit a boiling point under the summer sun.
This season: Relationships will ignite, friendships will fracture, and secrets will explode.
Meet Y/N: the wildcard in a love triangle that’s shaking the OBX to its core. On one side, there’s JJ—the fun-loving bad boy with a reckless streak and a heart of gold. On the other, Rafe—the reformed kook whose dangerous charm has everyone questioning his motives. Sparks fly as Y/N tries to navigate her feelings, but when a late-night pool party takes a turn, the rivalry between JJ and Rafe threatens to get out of control.
But that’s just the beginning. Sarah Cameron is navigating her own triangle with long-time boyfriend John B and her ex, Topper. "Once a Topper, always a Topper," she teases in her confessional—but John B isn’t laughing. When an innocent game of truth or dare turns personal, things get messy.
And then there’s Sarah and Kiara. Once inseparable, now anything but. Their unresolved tension from Kiara’s kook year resurfaces, threatening to split the group down the middle. "She acts like she’s better than me now," Sarah snaps. "But we all remember who she was."
"I feel like I’m stuck in the middle of this," Y/N admits in her confessional. "I’m friends with both of them, but it’s exhausting trying to keep the peace when they can’t even be in the same room together."
And while Cleo and Pope are the group’s newest power couple, even they aren’t immune to the drama. "We’re just trying to stay out of it," Cleo jokes in her confessional. Pope smirks, adding, "But let’s be real, these people live for chaos."
Friendships will be tested. Lines will be crossed. Hearts will be broken.
So, grab your drink and settle in for the world’s most dramatic beach house experiment. This isn’t just summer in the OBX—this is Outer Banks After Dark.
First Chapter
Author's Note
Hey guys,
Thank you so much for checking out my story! This is my very first fanfiction, and I’m so excited (and nervous) to share it with you all. I’m keeping things open and fun, so if you have any ideas or plotlines you’d like to see, my requests are definitely open. I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions—this story is for all of us to enjoy together!
This will be a love triangle for Y/N, and honestly
I don’t even know who she’s going to end up with yet! I’m just as torn as she is, so we’ll figure it out together as the story unfolds.
Oh, and one last thing! I’ll be posting a moodboard for Y/N and the show tomorrow, so stay tuned for that! I can’t wait to dive deeper into the vibes of this story with you.
Thank you again for all your support, and I hope you love what’s coming!
xoxo, [Z]

❝FIDELITY❞ |part11
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MASTERLIST -`✼®- Rafe Cameron x Kook!Reader x JJ Maybank
Summary: Kook!Reader’s world is upended by betrayal, and her only way forward might lie with the most unlikely person—JJ Maybank. But as they build a new life together, old flames and past mistakes refuse to stay buried.
Warnings: time jumps, slut shaming(kind of?), daddy issues, pregnancy and everything about that, breakdown.
previous - next
5 Months and 1 Week Pregnant
It was one of those rare times when everything felt like it was going well. There was no need to lie; you were happier than usual. In the past, you’d wake up late and force yourself to cook, but now, it was like you had an internal alarm clock. You were up on time every day, and you even found some joy in cooking.
You preferred waking up to some noise in the house rather than silence. Having someone else there, hearing the sounds of cooking—it felt like loneliness had disappeared completely. And even though you knew it wouldn’t last forever, you were starting to get used to it. Instead of dreading the day it would end, you chose to focus on the moment.
Living with JJ wasn’t hard. If anything, it made life easier.
You hadn’t thought of him as so helpful before. The way he’d try to do anything you asked, the way he made you laugh effortlessly—it all deepened your bond with him.
He never asked for anything in return. Not a single thing. Yet, he was always there for you, without expecting a thing. That made you feel awful. You wanted to do something for him, to not leave his kindness unanswered. But deep down, you knew JJ didn’t expect anything from you; he’d help you regardless.
Despite growing up with a lousy father in terrible circumstances, JJ had developed a sense of compassion that made you question so much about yourself.
Not just yourself but the world around you. It was absurd how people raised in luxury and privilege often saw helping others as a sign of weakness.
If someone lacked the capacity for kindness, what kind of success could they truly achieve in life?
To you, the answer was nothing. They could own yachts, mansions, and cars—but without a pure and kind heart, what was the point?
These thoughts stayed with you, especially during Sarah and John B’s wedding.
It wasn’t anything overly extravagant, not that you expected it to be. Just a few close friends were there, and most of the faces were familiar. Seeing Cleo and Kiara as Sarah’s bridesmaids in their blue dresses was adorable. On John B’s side, JJ and Pope stood as groomsmen, both in suits with matching blue ties.
You never thought you’d see JJ in a suit in your lifetime. It just—wasn’t his style, and imagining it had always seemed impossible.
You followed every update on Instagram, curious. Everything looked sweet, perfect even. But what really surprised you was seeing the entire Cameron family at the wedding—even Rafe.
You had no idea they’d reconciled. You couldn’t have known; you hadn’t been close to Rafe for months. Still, you always had a sense that he regretted the distance he’d put between himself and his sisters when he was younger.
Even so, you never thought Sarah would be brave enough to reach out. Especially when you saw him sitting almost front and center.
But—it wasn’t your problem. You were glad they’d worked things out, and that was it. You didn’t want Rafe occupying even a corner of your mind, despite the fact that you carried a piece of him inside you.
The two days without JJ felt long. You couldn’t believe how quickly you’d gotten used to his presence, but apparently, you had. When he returned, you couldn’t help but feel relieved. You’d gained a housemate—it was just how things had turned out. The guest room you’d prepared for visitors had become JJ’s room.
When you saw him standing there with a suitcase in hand, you realized this was really happening—he’d moved in.
As the days passed, you got even more used to each other. It was...endearing. Until the day you woke up to the smell of something burnt.
You had no idea what was going on downstairs, but the house reeked. When you went to the kitchen, you found JJ trying to make breakfast.
He must’ve heard your footsteps because he turned to you with a half-smile, looking unsure of himself. Holding out a plate of slightly burnt pancakes with an open hand, he grinned proudly. “Ta-da!”
Your eyes darted to the table, where fresh orange juice and a few other things were set out, but you quickly looked back at JJ. “Don’t get the wrong idea—it’s not for you. It’s for the baby.” He set down the spatula and gestured to your belly before turning back to the stove.
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t suppress the smile tugging at your lips. Walking over to check the pancakes, you saw they were, in fact, burnt. “You know
I have a master’s degree in culinary arts. My specialty is actually being a chef, but... if you want to keep going, I’d never say no. My pancakes are perfect, of course, so you won’t top them, but—”
Your eyes fell on the charred pancakes again. You grabbed the spatula from his hand. “Step aside.”
He smiled as he moved without protest, leaning against the table to watch. There was no way you were letting either of you eat those burnt pancakes. Still, it was a sweet gesture. He didn’t have to do anything at all.
“By the way.” You glanced over from the stove to see him holding out a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Smiling, you took it. “Since you hate tea now, I thought maybe you’d like some orange juice. I squeezed it myself.”
You turned down the heat on the stove and smiled as you took the glass from him. “Thank you. That’s so thoughtful.”
JJ shrugged, his eyes wandering around the kitchen as you took a sip. You loved oranges—honestly, you couldn’t imagine life without fruit.
“Of course.” He leaned against the counter, watching as you flipped the pancakes.
“You seem a little off.” You glanced at him. He wasn’t his usual energetic self. It felt like something was weighing on him.
“I talked to John B.” His eyes were still fixed on the pancakes. You always forgot how good he was at hiding his emotions—except now. He looked too upset to mask it. “He kept saying he hadn’t seen me on the island. So, I told him I’d moved here.”
You waited, hoping for some kind of positive reaction, but his face gave away nothing. He didn’t look at you; his eyes stayed fixed on the frying pan. You couldn’t help but wonder what was going through his head, what kind of conversation he had just had.
And more than that, this was the first you were hearing about it. You’d been with JJ for days now, yet not once had John B—or any of his other friends—called him, as far as you knew. Or maybe they had, and you just hadn’t noticed. “What did he say?”
You set the perfectly cooked pancake on top of JJ’s charred pile, then turned to face him. One hand ran through his hair, ruffling it in that way he always did when he was feeling off. “He wasn’t exactly thrilled.”
When his gaze finally lifted to meet yours, you felt like you could finally read the expression on his face. He looked hurt—genuinely hurt. You wished you could read his mind; it would make things so much easier.
“Did you tell him why you’re here?” you asked, your voice softened intentionally. You didn’t want to sound harsh, not even by accident. JJ straightened up quickly, shaking his head with conviction.
“This is about you. I’d never do that.” His eyes stayed locked on yours, like he was silently making a vow.
The last thing you wanted was for JJ to deal with this because of you. When you’d asked him to stay, you hadn’t thought too far ahead, hadn’t considered what it might mean. But you didn’t want things to turn out like this. These were people JJ trusted, and you trusted JJ. You didn’t want them to fight because of you.
Eventually, everyone was going to know. One way or another, the truth would come out. There was no reason to keep it a secret, not at least for JJ’s sake. And honestly, seeing how upset he looked put a dull ache in your chest.
“You can tell them,” you said softly. “If you trust them, then I trust them too.”
JJ’s eyebrows shot up, his surprise plain as day. He clearly hadn’t expected you to say that. But if they could be understanding, and if it would help JJ feel better, then it was worth it. After all, this wasn’t the end of the world. It was just five more people knowing.
6 Months Pregnant
Everything had escalated so quickly. Even you hadn’t seen it coming. The day you told JJ that he could share it with his friends, he refused. But, of course, you pressed him until he gave in.
He couldn’t hold out and ended up telling them. No one could deny the initial shock; it was written all over their faces. Still, you were relieved when you noticed how it seemed to smooth things over between JJ and his friends afterward.
“You got her pregnant?!” John B’s voice boomed through JJ’s phone, loud enough to reach you in the kitchen where you were washing dishes.
“Have you never heard of a condom in your life?!” Pope chimed in, equally loud. You couldn’t help but overhear their chaotic exchange. JJ was trying to explain himself, but each time he opened his mouth, someone else interrupted. You pressed your lips tightly together, suppressing a laugh as you loaded the dishwasher.
“Can you guys just stop for a second? Of course not! She’s just a friend—I’m helping her out!” JJ finally managed to get a word in, and the corners of your lips twitched into a smile. Peeking through the window, you saw him sprawled on the porch sofa, legs stretched out, his backward cap completing the look of pure exasperation.
“Helping her out as the baby daddy?!” Cleo shouted in disbelief.
“Oh my God, Cleo! I literally just said no!”
From that day on, JJ’s interactions with his friends seemed to pick up again. Sometimes, yours did too. JJ often FaceTimed Sarah and John B, and while Sarah’s cheerful greetings to you felt a bit awkward, you appreciated the effort. After all, she was technically your daughter’s aunt.
The real awkwardness came when JJ mentioned his friends wanted to visit—now that they knew he wasn’t on the island anymore and wouldn’t be for a while. At the house.
When JJ first brought it up, you hesitated—not because you didn’t want them over, but because they’d see you. Pregnant. And at six months along, there was no hiding it.
But saying no wasn’t really an option, especially since you’d been the one to suggest JJ stay with you in the first place. You were living together now. How could you tell him his friends couldn’t come to see him?
Neither of you was particularly skilled in the kitchen, so you settled on ordering pizza and turning it into a casual pizza night. Simple, easy, and quick cleanup.
“Hey there!” JJ greeted them at the door while you hung back a little, watching the scene unfold with a soft smile. John B pulled JJ into a bear hug, followed quickly by Pope, who practically launched himself at him. It was sweet.
After everyone had taken their turns hugging JJ, they turned toward you. Cleo was the first to approach, arms wide open like she’d known you forever.
“Oh my God, hi! You look amazing!” she gushed, pulling you into a warm embrace.
When she stepped back, you couldn’t help but beam. Compliments like that hit differently when you were pregnant—and when you secretly felt the same way about yourself.
“So do you! I hope the drive wasn’t too hard to find us,” you replied. Cleo nodded with a grin, stepping aside as Kiara came into view. She wasn’t as exuberant as Cleo, but you didn’t hold it against her.
“Hi,” Kiara greeted you, offering a brief but friendly hug.
“Hey,” you responded with a small smile, chuckling as Pope called out from behind, “Now this is what I call a house
”
As Kiara moved aside, Sarah came up, her bright smile almost startling you. The tension you’d been holding onto crept back in. Of course, there wasn’t a person here who didn’t know who the father of your baby was. After all, after years of dating, there was no way it wasn’t Rafe. And you were certain Sarah knew that too.
“That pregnancy glow thing? It’s really working for you!” Sarah said with enthusiasm, extending the greeting dramatically before pulling you into an unexpected hug. “Look at you! Hi!”
You hadn’t expected it to go this smoothly, let alone for everyone to be this sweet. It was either because they genuinely were nice or
JJ. Just like you were being nice to them because of JJ.
Fair enough.
If you were still living on the island and weren’t pregnant, this would’ve been a completely different vibe. But here you all were, playing nice for someone else’s sake. And honestly? You didn’t hate it.
In fact, you kind of loved it.
The house filled with laughter as everyone settled around the table. You watched them reconnect over slices of pizza, their camaraderie so genuine it almost warmed your heart.
You loved how their laughter filled the space, how JJ kept drawing you into conversations even when you felt like a bit of an outsider.
You’d always hated curious stares, but their looks didn’t feel like that. They felt like they were listening—like they actually cared about what you had to say. It did wonders for your confidence.
“I’ll clear the pizza boxes; you guys can move to the couch if you want,” you offered with a smile, gripping the edge of the table for support as you got up.
“No way!” Cleo was already on her feet, grabbing the box in front of her. Kiara and the others followed suit, practically springing into action.
“You’re pregnant! No way we’re letting you do anything,” Kiara added firmly, cutting off your protest before it could start.
A warm hand rested on your back, and you turned to see JJ smiling down at you.
“I’ve got it,” he said.
For a moment, you considered pushing back but gave in with a small nod. Something about the way he looked at you made it impossible to argue. Reassuring.
As they cleaned up, you couldn’t help but feel a twinge of guilt. You were the host, and having guests do the work felt
 wrong.
The feeling lingered even as you made your way to the bathroom. Pregnancy had turned every trip to pee into a race against time, and you’d grown to hate how often you felt like you might not make it.
After finishing up, you washed your hands and glanced in the mirror, checking your makeup. When you opened the door, you nearly bumped into Sarah, standing just a little down the hall.
“Sarah
” you said, eyebrows lifting in surprise. She smiled nervously, brushing her blonde hair back with one hand while the other fiddled with her nose.
“Hey,” she started hesitantly, eyes flickering between you and the floor. “I just wanted to check
 Are you okay?”
Her concern was sweet, and you shrugged lightly, feeling oddly touched. “I’m fine.”
“Not like that. I mean
after everything. JJ didn’t give us much detail—neither did Rafe. So,” she looked a bit uneasy. You could tell the concern in her voice was genuine. She wasn’t trying to pry or make you feel bad.
“I still don’t trust Rafe, and I don’t know what went down between you two, but I was worried about you. And after finding out about you and the baby, I swear I didn’t tell him a thing.” She placed her hand on Sarah’s arm in reassurance, and the tension in Sarah’s face softened.
For reasons you couldn’t fully grasp, Sarah looked panicked. It was like
she was acting as if Rafe didn’t know. Because she didn’t know he knew. Maybe she thought she’d kept this from him, even ran away from him.
“He knows, Sarah.” Her brows relaxed, but the shock on her face was undeniable. Her lips parted as though to speak, but no sound came for a moment.
Sarah was grappling with how Rafe could know and still let you leave. Everyone knew you two were in love—so much so it was nauseating at times. You’d been the girl who stuck around the longest in his life, especially on the island. So how did he let it go? How did he accept it? She couldn’t wrap her head around it.
She couldn’t hide the growing frustration toward her brother. It was almost incomprehensible.
“But—” Her lips moved again, but nothing came out. She was lost for words, ready to storm back to the island and give Rafe a piece of her mind—or more than that. She could practically picture herself shouting at him.
How could he leave a pregnant woman—especially the mother of his child—on her own? And not just anyone. It was you. Not just the mother of his baby, but the girl he claimed to love.
“He found out right after I did. He
didn’t want to do this together. We agreed to separate—kind of. I thought moving to the mainland was the best thing to do.” Sarah pushed the loose strands of hair from her face. She looked genuinely upset, enough to make you want to comfort her. But it was in the past, and there was no use in dwelling on it. You were looking ahead now, and you were happy with that.
“How? That bastard—ugh, I hate him.” Her words were filled with anger, and you couldn’t help the small chuckle that escaped your lips. Seeing you smile seemed to brighten her mood too. She felt better knowing you weren’t as upset about it anymore.
Still, Sarah felt an odd shame, almost like she was the one who’d wronged you. The fact that it was Rafe, her own blood, who had left you to fend for yourself—and with a baby—made her cringe.
“Please don’t.” You looked at her, your voice soft but firm. There was no need for her to hate him, especially now that you’d begun mending bridges. “He wasn’t ready, and I was. That’s all there is to it.”
Her brows shot up in disbelief. You couldn’t believe how quickly her emotions shifted—she looked ready to murder Rafe on the spot.
She was furious, even livid. She couldn’t fathom how he could shirk such a responsibility. She’d be angry with anyone who did that, but knowing it was her brother made her blood boil. “So, let me get this straight—he was ready enough to finish inside you but not to deal with the consequences? Is that it?”
You didn’t reply. There was no point. These were the thoughts you’d worked so hard to bury. Of course, you’d had them too, but if you were going to move forward, you couldn’t dwell on them.
Holding onto the past wouldn’t let you live your future. What was done was done. There was no undoing it.
Sarah noticed your change in mood and quickly reached out, placing a hand on your arm. She looked worried, as though she’d said the wrong thing. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it like that.”
“No, don’t apologize. You’re right. But I just want to move on—I don’t want to waste any more time feeling sad about it.” You gave her a small smile, trying to reassure her. No matter what, you were determined to hold onto your happiness. You wouldn’t let any fight or rejection overshadow the joy waiting for you.
“Of course. Whatever you do, I’ve got your back. You know you can always call me. I mean, I’m going to be an aunt, after all.” Sarah’s giggle was contagious, and you found yourself laughing along with her. It was comforting, even grounding, to know she was there for you.
“Of course you are. Just
can we keep this from your family for now?” You still couldn’t help yourself—you were protecting him. If Ward found out, he’d strip Rafe of everything, and even knowing that, you were shielding him. Stupid.
“If it were up to me, I’d tell my dad just to watch him beat Rafe into the ground—but I won’t. For you and the baby.” Sarah wrapped her arm around your waist, and you slung yours over her shoulder. As you both walked toward the living room, a quiet “thank you” escaped your lips.
“There you are!” A voice rang out as you entered the room. Your eyes followed it to see JJ standing up from the couch and walking toward you. “We were starting to worry.”
You watched as Sarah slipped away and joined John B. A moment later, you turned back to find JJ standing close, his hand resting on your waist as he leaned in. His presence was a little unnerving, though this wasn’t unusual for him. This was just how things had always been.
“You’re okay, right?” His voice was quieter now, meant for you alone. His eyes searched yours as if he were ready to whisk you off to the hospital at the slightest sign of trouble.
Your hand found its way to his arm, squeezing gently as if to reassure him. When you nodded, your other hand instinctively rested on your belly. “I’m fine.”
JJ smiled, glancing over at the others. His hand lingered at your waist. “So, who’s up for a game?”
7 Months and 1 Week Pregnant
Sleeping had become a challenge. You missed the quality rest you used to get, the kind that actually left you feeling refreshed. You longed for the days when you could sleep on your stomach, or even just roll over in bed without feeling like a beached whale.
Now, falling asleep required effort—serious effort, like you were training for some sleep Olympics.
Waking up drenched in sweat had become your new least favorite thing. The nights felt as hot as mid-summer, and every single one included at least one trip to the bathroom or the kitchen for water.
Even getting out of bed was an ordeal, just as tough as getting back in. Your back was always aching, and it felt like life itself had become one giant workout session. Exhausting in every possible way.
It was one of those nights again. You woke up, groaning internally at how much you hated this pattern. You wanted nothing more than a good night’s sleep, but of course, that was out of the question. Everything felt like it was conspiring against you.
Pushing your hair out of your face, you sat up, gasping for breath like you’d just finished running a marathon. The sheer size of your belly still caught you off guard sometimes.
When you noticed your bedside glass of water was empty, you groaned. Of course. The universe wasn’t cutting you any slack. With a resigned sigh, you got up and shuffled toward the door, making your way downstairs.
In the kitchen, as you poured yourself a glass of water, a faint buzzing sound caught your attention. You paused, straining to listen. Was the TV still on? You had gone to bed early, and now you were wondering if JJ had forgotten to turn it off.
With the glass in hand, you wandered into the living room. The only light came from the flickering TV screen. The scene before you wasn’t one you expected: JJ was sitting on the couch, his elbows on his knees, his hands cradling his head.
Your eyes flicked to the clock on the wall—3 a.m.
As you walked closer, it seemed like he either hadn’t heard you or was pretending not to. He stayed frozen in place. “JJ?” you called softly, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He looked up, finally noticing you, and turned his body to face you fully. For a moment, your eyes locked. Normally, JJ was impossible to read. He was a master at keeping his emotions hidden. But now? His face betrayed a heaviness that made your chest tighten.
“Hey,” he said softly, straightening up. His eyes dropped to your belly, and he rested a hand on it gently. You perched on the edge of the couch, facing him. “Are you okay?”
His voice was low, almost hollow. Concerned, you ran a hand through his messy hair, and his eyes fluttered shut at the touch. He leaned back slightly, allowing you to continue.
“We’re fine. Are you okay?”
He didn’t respond immediately. He stayed still, eyes closed, seemingly trying to ground himself. You wanted to beg him to tell you what was wrong, the tension gnawed at you.
When he didn’t answer, you leaned forward awkwardly to set your glass on the coffee table. Noticing your struggle, JJ opened his eyes and silently took the glass from you, placing it down himself.
You settled beside him, watching as he intertwined his fingers and stared at his hands. “What’s going on?” you pressed gently.
JJ hesitated, his mouth opening and closing like he was testing words that didn’t feel right. His hands fidgeted, a clear sign of his unease.
Just as you were about to ask again, he finally spoke. “They called me from police station.”
Your eyes widened, alarm flashing through you. Why? What could he have possibly done? He’d been staying with you for the past two months, barely leaving your side. If someone had falsely accused him of something, you’d have your family’s lawyers on it in seconds.
“They arrested my dad,” he said, his voice flat. “And he decided to call me.”
A humorless chuckle escaped his lips, and it made your heart ache for him. He looked awful—his eyes red and tired, his hair a mess, and his clothes disheveled. This wasn’t JJ, not the one who always found a way to laugh, even in the worst situations.
“Now he remembers I exist,” he muttered, the laugh leaving his voice entirely. It was eerie, almost unsettling. Anger and hurt swirled in his expression, clear as day.
You opened your mouth to speak, but his hand shot up. He dragged it through his hair harshly, and you grabbed his wrist to stop him. “Hey, JJ—don’t.”
He stilled, letting his hand fall into yours. You could feel him trying to steady his breathing, his shoulders rising and falling deeply.
“It’s been almost four months. Four whole months, and he didn’t notice I was gone. And now he calls? I don’t even care about him anymore, I swear. He hasn’t mattered to me for years. But if I hadn’t seen my kid in months? I’d feel like I was dead inside.” His voice cracked, and you squeezed his hand tighter. “I’d cross an ocean to find them.”
When he looked at you, his eyes were bloodshot, the veins painfully visible. “JJ
” you whispered, his name barely audible. He dropped his gaze back to his lap.
“I hate that I still care. I hate that he’s the only family I have,” he admitted, shaking his head as he closed his eyes again.
Unable to stop yourself, you wrapped your arms around his neck. He didn’t hesitate to pull you close, clinging to you like a lifeline.
Right now, JJ didn’t need words. He just needed you—your comfort, your warmth.
You felt his body tense in your embrace, so you ran a soothing hand up and down his back. “Do you want me to get him out?” you whispered softly.
Even though you despised the man for how much he’d hurt JJ, you’d do it if it meant bringing him a fraction of peace.
“No,” JJ’s voice was firm. He shook his head sharply and buried his face in the crook of your neck.
“What do you want me to do? Just say the word, and I’ll do it.” In that moment, it felt like every wall between you had crumbled. There was no pretense, no filters—just raw, unguarded honesty.
“Just stay like this,” he murmured against your neck.
So you did. You leaned back into the couch, holding him close, your hands rubbing slow circles on his back. The faint hum of the TV filled the silence as the two of you stayed there, tangled together in the stillness of the night.
8 Months Pregnant
"JJ, put it down." You tried to sound firm, but your voice cracked slightly. JJ looked at you, confused, holding the offending object in his hand. You couldn’t bear to look at it for more than a second without feeling nauseous. Standing there in the middle of the grocery store, you were dangerously close to losing your lunch.
"What? This?" He held up the banana, inspecting it like it might hold the secrets of the universe. You quickly averted your eyes. Once upon a time, you had been all about bananas—team banana all the way. Now? Now they made you gag. The smell, the texture, even the thought of eating one was enough to make your stomach churn.
Pregnancy had turned your entire palate upside down. Foods you used to love? Hard no. Foods you couldn’t stand? Suddenly your favorites. It was fascinating in a completely horrifying way. You hadn’t even known this was a thing until it started happening to you.
"Okay, okay, relax." JJ put the banana back like it was a ticking time bomb and stepped closer to you. You deliberately avoided looking in its direction, shifting your focus to the other aisles as you tried to erase its image from your mind.
"Please don’t puke here," JJ teased, his tone light and playful. You shot him a glare, but it only seemed to amuse him further. His lips twitched, and before you could come up with a witty retort, he turned away, a muffled laugh escaping him.
You knew he was trying not to laugh outright, but you decided to let it go. He’d been in this mood all day—overly playful, overly JJ.
Your face scrunched up as a sharp movement in your belly caught your attention. Your baby was unusually active today. A small groan escaped your lips as you felt another jab, and almost immediately, JJ’s hand found its way to your back.
"What’s going on? Is it happening? Are you giving birth?" His voice was so over-the-top, you couldn’t even muster the energy to respond. You turned to him instead, searching his face to see if he was actually serious.
It was one of those days. Your baby girl was unusually hyper, and JJ seemed determined to match her energy with his relentless joking.
"No," you finally managed. "We still have a month to go. You know that."
JJ smirked, clearly unfazed. "You’re super tense today," he remarked.
"It’s just... she’s moving so much." You rubbed your belly in small circles, hoping it would calm her down. She felt like she was trying to punch her way out. JJ’s joking demeanor melted as concern crossed his face.
"Should we go home?" he asked, his voice softer now.
You shook your head. "No, it’s fine. She’s settling down." And thankfully, she was. The movements were starting to ease.
Convincing JJ that you were fine was always a bit of an uphill battle. When it came to you and the baby, he was constantly on high alert, acting like every little thing could be the moment. But your doctor had reassured you just last week—your due date was still a month away.
March 29th.
That was the big day, circled in bright red on your calendar. Time had been speeding by for the past eight months, but now that you were in the final stretch, the days felt like years. Every tick of the clock seemed slower than the last.
You’d started counting down the days since your doctor gave you the date. It didn’t help that waiting made you restless. The anticipation was almost unbearable.
Shopping trips with JJ had evolved too. It wasn’t just groceries anymore. You were now stocking up on diapers, baby wipes, and tiny clothes that made your heart melt. It felt early, but preparing in advance made you feel calmer—and, if you were honest, even more excited.
You were counting down to the moment she’d finally arrive. Your little girl. A happiness unlike anything you’d ever known was just around the corner. You could feel it.
"An important question: Which one do we pick?" JJ held up a tangerine in one hand and an orange in the other, his face comically serious. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes.
“Both,” you replied, shaking your head. A victorious grin spread across JJ’s face as he nodded like he’d just solved the world's most difficult puzzle.
“Team Vitamin C,” he announced proudly, tossing both bags into the cart.
You were about to respond when a familiar face caught your eye. Instinctively, you turned your back and stepped closer to JJ, hoping to blend into his shadow. But your hopes were dashed as soon as you heard your name, loud and cheerful, coming from behind.
“Sweetheart! What a surprise! Look at you—you’ve grown so much! You’re glowing!”
Viola.
She practically bounced over, her smile so wide it could’ve been painted on. Behind her, a shopping cart waited, along with the little girl you’d seen with her at the park a few months ago. The child was quietly playing with a toy, blissfully unaware of the impending awkwardness.
“Hi, Viola,” you greeted her, your voice betraying none of your inner cringe. You could feel JJ’s presence close behind you, his chest lightly pressed against your back. Oh, he was doing this on purpose.
Viola’s gaze flickered briefly to JJ, but her focus quickly returned to you. “How are you, darling? I haven’t seen you at the park lately.”
It was almost funny how sweet she sounded, especially considering how your last interaction had gone. The thought of voluntarily seeking her out again had never even crossed your mind, especially knowing she was always there with her daughter.
“Haven’t been going out much,” you lied effortlessly, giving her a polite smile. Viola’s grin widened, but it was so fake you almost felt secondhand embarrassment.
The silence that followed was unbearably awkward. Viola’s eyes kept darting back to JJ, sizing him up like he was some new exhibit at the zoo. You couldn’t quite place the urge to drag him away, but it was growing stronger by the second.
Viola, who looked like she was pushing forty, seemed to be giving your “friend” the once-over, and it made your skin crawl. “I thought you said the baby’s father didn’t want to be involved? Did I remember that wrong?”
You briefly considered staying silent in the hopes that she’d get bored and leave, but her expectant gaze made it clear she wasn’t going anywhere.
“He’s a friend, helping me out,” you finally said, glancing over your shoulder at JJ. His expression was unreadable, but the slight furrow of his brow hinted at annoyance.
Viola’s smirk widened, and she nodded like she was completely on your side. “Of course. You’re only twenty, after all. It makes sense you’d need support. Though, I’ll admit, you’d feel much more secure with a ring on your finger and the father around, don’t you think?”
Her tone was all sugar, but her eyes darted back and forth between you and JJ, waiting for a reaction.
“If she wants a ring, she’ll have one. If she doesn’t, she won’t,” JJ cut in, his tone calm but firm. “And honestly, it’s better for a child to grow up with one stable parent than two miserable ones.”
You nearly bit your lip trying to hide your grin as JJ stepped closer. His hand brushed your arm, a subtle yet protective gesture.
Viola’s smile faltered as she took in his words. Her face twisted briefly in irritation before she smoothed it over with forced politeness. Giving you both one last look, she muttered something under her breath and turned to leave, her daughter trailing obediently behind.
“Who is that woman?” JJ asked, his tone dripping with disdain as he stared after her.
“Don’t ask,” you muttered, rolling your eyes.
8 Months and 4 Week Pregnant
The thoughts wouldn’t leave your mind. You had assumed you’d feel calmer as your due date approached, but instead, all you felt was a growing knot of anxiety.
You wanted to be a mom more than anything. You couldn’t wait to hold your daughter in your arms, to breathe in her scent, to feel the weight of her tiny body against you. But as much as you wanted it, you couldn’t shake the nagging doubt: Would I be a good mom?
When you confided in your own mother, she’d assured you that this was part of being a mom. She’d said that motherhood was about being consumed with worry while loving them with everything you have. It was about constantly questioning if you were doing things right.
And that was exactly what you were doing.
On top of that, your mind couldn’t stop racing about the future. JJ was going to leave. You knew it. Whether he’d head back to the island or stay nearby, you weren’t sure, but the five months you’d spent living together were almost over.
“What’s got you all worked up?” JJ asked as he joined you on the porch, draping a blanket over your shoulders. His usual energy was intact, his carefree vibe so familiar it made your chest ache.
You didn’t know how you were going to say goodbye. For months now, he’d been there, in your space, filling the silence. You could barely remember what it was like to live in this house alone. It felt like he’d always been there, like he’d been a part of your life since the beginning.
“What’s going to happen after the baby’s born?”
You were tired of tiptoeing around the subject. No more guessing games or dancing around what you really wanted to say. You weren’t going to hide behind vague questions anymore. This was normal. It was okay to ask.
You needed to know—not just for yourself, but for your daughter’s future.
When JJ gave you a soft smile, your eyebrows shot up. He sipped his coffee, his gaze wandering off to the backyard like he was gathering his thoughts.
“I was actually going to talk to you about that,” he said, sitting up a little straighter.
You took a deep breath, bracing yourself for the inevitable conversation about him leaving.
“I’ve put in a few job applications,” he continued. “I’ll stay here as long as you need me, but after that, I think it’d be better if I found my own place nearby. You know, give you your space.”
His voice was serious—no teasing, no jokes.
When his eyes met yours, you knew he wasn’t kidding. It was written all over his face: he meant every word.
You stared at him, stunned. Was this the same JJ you’d met months ago? The wild, reckless boy who didn’t seem to take anything seriously?
Back then, you didn’t even need to know him well to guess the kind of guy he was: someone who loved parties, getting drunk, maybe even picking a fight or two. After all, his reputation had preceded him. But since he’d come into your life, he hadn’t been drunk, he hadn’t fought anyone. It was like someone had waved a magic wand and transformed him.
“Really?” you asked, still skeptical.
JJ grinned, his signature playful smirk lighting up his face. “Really,” he said, nodding.
You couldn’t believe it. Without thinking, you pushed off the blanket and made a clumsy attempt to get up, forgetting about the massive baby bump that had been your constant companion for months.
As you threw your arms around him, you heard him laugh softly. “Whoa, easy there,” he said, but he hugged you back tightly.
“Thank you,” you whispered, your voice thick with emotion. And you meant it. More than he could ever know.
April 3rd
“JJ!” His name escaped your lips as you stared at the floor. Finally—it was happening. You couldn’t believe it. It was a bit past the due date, but it didn’t matter. The day you had been counting down to, with so much anticipation, was here.
“What? What’s going on?” JJ’s voice echoed through the house, and within seconds, the rapid thuds of his footsteps on the stairs filled the air.
This was it. The moment had finally arrived.
“My water just broke.”
When you looked up at JJ standing frozen in the doorway, a huge smile spread across your face. His eyes darted from the floor to you, growing comically wide as the realization hit him.
“Fuck.”

INTERVIEW-JONATHAN DAVISS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The interview was scheduled for 4:00 PM, and you had arrived half an hour early. You hated being late, and your team knew it. As soon as you stepped into the studio, brightly lit and adorned with the vibrant colors of the Outer Banks logo, you immediately noticed Jonathan Daviss sitting on one of the stools. He was waiting for you.
With his charming smile and relaxed energy, he greeted you with a wave.
"I thought I was the early bird in the group, but you beat me to it," he said, his contagious laughter filling the space.
You walked closer, feeling a slight warmth creep up your cheeks. Jonathan had this way of making you feel at ease while also leaving you slightly flustered.
"I don’t want to give the press a reason to write about me being the last one to show up," you replied playfully, taking a seat next to him.
Jonathan shot you a knowing look, and in that moment, you sensed something subtle in the air—something that everyone watching the interview was bound to notice.
When the microphones were set up and the host kicked things off, the questions started flowing. They covered the new season of Outer Banks, the bond between the characters, and the challenges of filming. But every time Jonathan answered, his eyes would seek yours, as if to ensure you agreed with what he was saying.
"So, what’s it like working with her?" the host asked, nodding toward you with a curious smile.
Jonathan tilted his head, pretending to think hard about it. "Terrible. Really, a nightmare on set."
"Jonathan!" you exclaimed, laughing as you gave him a light shove on the shoulder.
He laughed even louder. "I’m kidding! Honestly, working with her is like
having a light on set. She always knows how to lift everyone’s spirits, even on the toughest days."
His words caught you off guard, and you felt your cheeks flush. The host, not missing the opportunity, teased further: "That almost sounds like a confession!"
Jonathan shrugged, looking at you again. "Well, let’s just say the chemistry you see between our characters
 it’s all real."
You lowered your gaze, laughing nervously. You weren’t sure how to respond, but the studio audience laughed and clapped, fueling the playful atmosphere.
During a break to adjust the lighting, Jonathan leaned closer to you.
"I didn’t embarrass you, did I?" he asked in a quieter, more intimate tone.
You shook your head. "No, you were
 sweet, as always."
He smiled, holding your gaze a moment longer than necessary. "You know, I didn’t lie about anything I said earlier."
Your heart skipped a beat. "Not even the part about me being a nightmare?" you joked, trying to lighten the moment.
Jonathan chuckled softly, shaking his head. "No, that was obviously a lie."
When the interview resumed, the host couldn’t help but point out your dynamic again. "So, the question everyone wants to know: are you two this close only on screen, or is there something more off-screen?"
You smiled, trying to keep things professional. "We have a great working relationship," you replied, leaving just a hint of ambiguity in your tone.
Jonathan, however, added: "But I’d say our relationship goes beyond that. We’re great friends, and I think that shows."
The host grinned, clearly pleased with his response. "Well, I can say the fans are going to go wild when they see this interview!"
---
Once it was over and everyone was packing up the set, Jonathan approached you again.
"How about a coffee? To recover from all that attention," he said with a playful grin.
You nodded, feeling a wave of excitement. "Sounds like a good idea."
And as the two of you walked out of the studio together, you realized you weren’t the only one who had felt that spark. Everyone had seen it, but most importantly, you both had felt it.

Enemies (Part Five) (Rafe Cameron)
Tumblr media
Description: Based off Episode 10!
Word Count: 2,004
Author’s note: Whenever season 5 comes out is when I’ll continue this.
Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four
Y/N sat with her friends around the fire as they had hope that they would turn up to shore. Though Y/N wasn’t so sure. She saw the waves take them, How could they survive? She had been crying for so long that her eyes hurt and she needed sleep. She got up from the pogues and made her way to Rafe who sat by himself. He looked over at her as she came over.
She gave him a small smile they both knew was fake. He opened his arms and she collapsed in them. She groaned against his shirt as she was already falling asleep. He kissed her forehead as she drifted off.
When she woke it was daylight and the others were awake. Rafe was still holding her and he looked down at her eyes as she opened them. “You stink.” Was the first thing she said and he gave her a sarcastic laugh, “Like you don’t?” He asked. She definitely did.
They all did. She laid in his arms for a few more minutes before walking over to the others. “They have to be around here, there’s no way.” But Y/N didn’t believe that. She accepted in her mind that she lost 2 friends. JJ and Sarah. JJ was a troublemaker and very reckless but she loved him. He was always after trouble and sure that was annoying but he was the best.
Sarah was smart and so beautiful. She accepted people and not based on what they were. Kook or Pogue. She was awesome and her best friend. Tears welled up in her eyes as she thought about them.  John B saw two people and he got the group's attention. Everyone gasped as they saw two people who from a distance looked like Sarah and JJ. “I’ll go check.” “I’ll come with.” Y/N said and they walked to see.
John B’s eyes lit up when he saw them and Y/N let out a sigh of relief. Sarah ran up to hug him and JJ gave Y/N a hug. “I thought you were dead.” She whispered. “I’m immortal.” He joked. They switched and Y/N hugged Sarah.
Rafe looked happy to see that she was alive. They all sat around the fire well sorta. Rafe was on the same side but facing the other way as the others talked. Y/N was holding his arm as they laughed.
“You know what would be a good baby name?” JJ asked. Y/N looked at Rafe confused. “JJ what?” She asked. Sarah was pregnant. “Sarah, you’re pregnant?” Y/N jumped up from the ground. Sarah nodded and Y/N ran over to hug her. “Congratulations!” She said.
Getting separated from the others was not ideal but she wasn’t about to let Rafe get arrested. For once he didn’t do anything. “Are you okay?” She asked, grabbing his hand. He nodded and started walking the other way of where the pogues went.
“We are finding Groff.” He told her. “What about them?” She asked. “We’ll see them.” Though she was nervous that wouldn’t be the case. Groff wasn’t easy to find but she thought she would find herself stepping on the top of buildings and houses in a foreign country for anyone. Rafe and her had on “disguises” which were just fancy coats.
She felt rich with it thanks to Rafe. Y/N gasps as she sees the dude that was trying to kill her and her friends. She and Rafe had behind a sheet for a second until Rafe threw a punch at the guy. Groff notices him and Y/N could tell that he was nervous. He truly had no idea who he messed with. Y/N couldn’t help but feel super hot seeing Rafe beat the piss out the guy. “Let’s go.” He calls her and takes Groff.
“You’re lying to me.” Rafe yells at him as he confronts him about the money. Y/N just watches and wishes she had some popcorn. Groff kept looking over at her. “Who’s this?” Groff asked and Rafe scuffed. He ignored the question and kept yelling at him.
Groff didn’t have the money. Though that wasn’t the surprising part. The surprising part was that Sophia (Rafe’s cousin) set him up. Sophia was staying at his place while he was gone and when he and Y/N came back he planned to buy her her own house.
That was no longer on the table and Rafe was pissed. Groff was being very cocky for someone who was about to fall. Literally in a well. Rafe was laughing like a maniac. Y/N leaned over the well and even chuckled herself. “You messed with the wrong guy.” She yelled to Groff. “You tell him baby.” Rafe laughed.
“Let’s get out of here.” He says as Groff is yelling his name. He had the map to the crown now and all they had to do was get it the pogues or at least that’s what Y/N thought was going to happen. “What are we doing?” She asked as Rafe opened the map. “We are finding the treasure.” He tells her. She glares at him, “Rafe, we have to get this map to my friends. You didn’t care about the treasure.” She points out.
He chuckles and looks at her, “yeah well my money is gone sweetheart. You are your friends can get a part of the money.” She wanted to take the map and run but realized what kind of man Rafe was and knew that wasn’t a good idea. “Rafe.” She warned. “I need you to help me read the map.” He tells her, ignoring her obvious anger towards him.
“Promise me that you aren’t going to take it and run.” She growls. He looks at her, “I promise you that you and your friends will get your part.” He says. She looks at him. Though they’ve had fun together these past few days, she’s well aware of what he is capable of. “If you’re lying to me and you take the money and run, you can kiss my ass goodbye and I’ll make sure to hunt you down.” He thinks he just fell in love with her.
They walked through the sand holding hands as she wore the pendant. He holds the map as the walks to the location. “Rafe.” She said and they look over to see a sand storm starting. “Holy fuck.” “We gotta move fast.” They didn’t get a chance to as they ended up being held at gunpoint. Y/N felt her stomach turn as she realized that there wasn’t a way out of this. They were fucked.
“That’s my brother and my best friend.” Sarah said and took the shot. Y/N screamed and Rafe took her hand and ran. The others followed. Rafe was about to shut the door before they all screamed at him to wait. Y/N laughed as she saw her friends. “You’re okay.” She breathed out and hugged Sarah. “Thank you for saving us.” She said. Rafe refused to give the map over.
“Rafe.” Y/N sternly said his name. “You’re gonna betray me just like everyone else in my life has.” He said to Sarah. Y/N saw him tear up. “Rafe no we won’t.” Y/N tried but he stepped away from her. Her jaw dropped. “Rafe
” “Dad would want us to work together.” Sarah said to him. Rafe always thought that Sarah got him killed but she finally told him. “It’s true Rafe. I was there.” Y/N told him, she had tears in her eyes. Sarah did as well.
“Rafe, I'm not going to betray you. Sarah isn’t either.” She walked up to him and cupped his face. “Rafe, I love you. You can trust me. I promise. And you trust Sarah too.” Rafe looked at her with tears streaming down his face. Sarah hugged him and he looked down lost in thought.
The look in his eyes was heartbreaking. “This is nice but we have to go.” Kie said. Rafe gives John B the map and Y/N takes the pendant and helps them. Rafe wasn’t any help other than complaining. “Heaven.” John B said as the other three paced trying to think. “John B hold up the map to the sky.” It was like they shared the idea. He did and she gasped. “Guys look.” He said and they all stared at the map. “What is that?” Rafe asked.
It was like luck was in their hands and they were near the crown. Y/N gasped. The crown was somewhere in the sand statue. They all ran as the same storm got worse. “You guys go back.” Kie said to John B and Sarah. Y/N watched as they ran away. Rafe pulled her along.
The storm was bad. JJ decided he would be the one to get the crown. Y/N gasped as the other people trying to get the crown started shooting at JJ. “I’ll go stop them.” Rafe said. “No.” Y/N grabbed him. “I can’t lose you.” “You won’t. I’ll be back. I love you.” He tells her. “Rafe, they will kill you.” Kie says. “I’m a killer too.” He said and ran off. Y/N was so nervous watching JJ and thinking about Rafe. Her and Kie yelling at JJ to hurry up.
JJ was screaming and yelling about the crown and hoped down to the girls. “Look.” He said and showed them. Kie and Y/N looked at each other and gasped. They had it.
Y/N ran ahead of them to find Rafe. She yelled his name in hopes that he would hear and that he wasn’t hurt or dead. “Y/N.” He yelled back and she turned and gasped. He was okay! “You’re okay!” She said and he picked her up and kissed her. She smiled against his lips. Tears in her eyes. “I told you I would be.” He said. “I love you so much Rafe Cameron.” She said and nudged his nose with hers.
He set her down and kissed her again. “I need to ask you something.” He said and she nodded. “I haven’t felt this way about anyone and I haven’t been through half the shit we just went through with anyone.” She smiled at his words. He sank to one knee and her smile dropped as her jaw did. “I know this is crazy but so was everything we just went through so I need to know.” He pulled out a ring. Y/N felt tears in her eyes. “It’s my mothers ring.” He states. “Will you marry me?” She let out a sob and nodded.
“Yes.” She said and slid the ring on her finger. He stood up and kissed her. “I love you too Y/N Y/L/N.” He said. “We have to find the others.” She said and the ran in the way she came. Y/N felt so happy about everything. They got the crown and she was engaged to Rafe Cameron. The man she thought she would never fall for. Life was good.
She saw everyone crouched around something. Shoulders shaking. They walked over and she gasped. JJ. “No.” She said and got on the ground next to him. He wasn’t breathing. Tears streaming down her eyes and sobs racked through her body. Rafe fell to the ground to hold her. JJ Maybank, one of her best friends, was dead.
Y/N watched as Rafe buried him. She couldn’t believe it. Everything was great for like 5 minutes. The crown was gone and so was JJ. Everyone sat around the fire, tears in their eyes as Rafe paced. “If that was my best friend, I would be out for blood.” Rafe said. “JJ wouldn’t sit here and sulk. He’d want to kill Groff.” Y/N said.
Sarah and Kie agreed. Rafe came and sat next to Y/N. He looked over at her and saw that look in her eyes. He knew it all too well. He, himself, has had that look in his eyes. It was the look of blood, the need and urge to kill. “Revenge.” Kie said. “For JJ.” Y/N growled.

summary: Life with Ivy, your lively three-year-old, is full of love, laughter, and chaos, with the Pogues always in on the fun
Tumblr media
Life at the Chateau was never boring, especially with a three-year-old running around. Ivy, your daughter with John B, was the heart and soul of the Pogues. At just three years old, she had already mastered the art of sarcasm—thanks in large part to JJ—and was a constant source of laughter for the group.
This morning, chaos erupted when Ivy woke up before everyone else and decided to paint JJ’s face with your makeup.
“Why does it smell like lavender in here?” John B asked groggily, stumbling into the living room to find Ivy perched on JJ’s lap with a lipstick in her hand.
JJ glared at him. “Your daughter is a menace.”
“She’s an artist,” Ivy corrected, holding up a makeup brush. “Uncle JJ needed to be fancy.”
John B burst out laughing, leaning against the doorway for support. “You look
 beautiful, man.”
“Don’t,” JJ warned, pointing a finger at him. “I’m doing this for her self-esteem.”
“Sure you are,” Kiara chimed in as she strolled into the room. “Let me grab my phone. This is going on the wall of fame.”
“No!” JJ protested, but it was too late.
You emerged from the kitchen, mug of tea in hand, shaking your head at the scene. “What did I miss?”
“Oh, nothing,” John B said, grinning. “Just JJ’s makeover.”
Your eyes fell on Ivy’s handiwork, and you couldn’t help but laugh. “You know, Ivy, I think Uncle JJ would look even fancier with some glitter.”
JJ groaned. “Don’t encourage her!”
“She’s got talent,” you replied, smirking as you kissed the top of Ivy’s head. “Maybe next time, you’ll think twice before teaching her how to ‘prank.’”
John B wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close. “You’re enjoying this too much.”
“Oh, absolutely,” you said, leaning into him. “This is parenting gold.”
Later in the day, everyone piled into the van for a trip to the beach. You sat in the passenger seat, Ivy on your lap as John B drove.
“Mommy, can I wear Daddy’s hat?” Ivy asked, reaching for John B’s cap.
“It’s too big for you, kiddo,” he said, adjusting the rearview mirror.
“I don’t care,” Ivy replied, pouting.
“She’s definitely your kid,” you teased, nudging John B.
“Hey, I don’t pout,” he argued.
“Yeah, okay,” you said with a smirk, earning an eye roll from him. He reached over to squeeze your thigh playfully, his grin widening when you swatted his hand away with a laugh.
At the beach, Ivy wasted no time declaring herself “Queen of the Sandcastle” and assigning everyone roles. “Uncle Pope, you get the shells!” she commanded, pointing to the shoreline. “Auntie Kie, you do the decorations!”
“What about me?” JJ asked, crouching next to her.
“You dig the moat,” Ivy said matter-of-factly.
“And me?” John B asked, raising an eyebrow.
“You’re my helper, Daddy.”
“What about Mommy?”
Ivy thought for a moment. “Mommy gets to watch.”
You laughed, sitting back in your chair. “Finally, someone appreciates me.”
The afternoon passed in a blur of laughter and sand. The Pogues built an elaborate sandcastle that Ivy promptly destroyed, claiming it was “time for a big wave.”
“Kid’s got a Godzilla streak,” JJ said, shaking his head as Ivy stomped on the remains of their work.
“She gets it from you,” Kiara teased.
“Excuse me?” JJ replied, mock-offended. “I’m a builder, not a destroyer.”
“Sure you are,” Cleo said, smirking.
By the time the sun began to set, everyone was gathered around a bonfire. Ivy sat in John B’s lap, her eyelids drooping as she tried to stay awake.
“Tell me a story, Daddy,” she mumbled, her head resting against his chest.
“Alright,” he said, brushing her curls out of her face. “Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Ivy who was the bravest and smartest kid in the whole world.”
“That’s me!” she said sleepily, making everyone laugh.
“Yep, that’s you,” John B said softly, kissing her forehead.
You couldn’t help but watch the scene with a full heart. John B caught your gaze and smiled, tilting his head slightly. “What?”
“Nothing,” you said, shaking your head. “Just
 I love you.”
His smile deepened as he reached out to take your hand, threading his fingers through yours. “I love you too.”
When you got back to the Chateau, Ivy was already asleep. John B carried her to bed, tucking her in with her favorite stuffed bunny while you cleaned up the sand-covered bags.
As he came back into the living room, you were curled up on the couch, scrolling through your phone. He flopped down next to you, resting his head on your shoulder.
“She’s got everyone wrapped around her little finger,” he said with a chuckle.
“She’s got you wrapped the most,” you teased, nudging him playfully.
“Yeah, well,” he said, grinning as he pressed a kiss to your cheek. “I’m okay with that.”
You turned to face him, your hands finding their way to his chest. “You’re a good dad, you know that?”
He shrugged, his expression softening. “I try. But I’ve got you, so that makes it easier.”
You leaned in, your lips brushing against his. “We’re a pretty good team, huh?”
“The best,” he murmured, pulling you closer.
The sound of waves crashing in the distance filled the room as he kissed you again, slow and warm. Life with Ivy and the Pogues wasn’t always easy, but it was always full of love. And that was all you needed.

Pogues Share Everything
Tumblr media
content warning: sub!jj, bottom!jj, top!sarah, dom!sarah, sub!cleo, sub!kiara, dom!cleo, dom!pope, dom!john b, polyamory, cock warming, cunnilingus, overstim, slapping, subspace, kinda mommy kink? not rly tho, somno, i think that’s all lemme know if i missed any
-ˋˏ àŒ»đ–€“àŒș ˎˊ-
The pogues are all together. It’s not like a poly relationship exactly; Sarah and John B are married, JJ and Kie are dating, so are Cleo and Pope. HOWEVER - they all share each other.
like just thinking about sometimes when JJ is feeling overwhelmed he’ll find Pope so he can sit in his lap and suck on his fingers, relaxing his jaw and just having them on his tongue, Pope thrusting his thick fingers into JJs throat every now and then to keep him entertained. or he’ll go to John B who’s on the couch, just hold the brunette’s cock in his mouth while John B sits on his phone or does whatever he wants, the other pogues floating in and out of the room (sometimes ruffling JJ’s hair when they pass or running their nails gently down his back cause this is normal and he’s just a baby)
or if Kie wakes up horny in the middle of the night and goes to grab a glass of water, and John B just so happens to be in the kitchen at the same time. he eats her out on the counter until she’s in tears and has to push him away because it’s so good
and sometimes Sarah wants to be on top for once, but John B can never bring himself to be submissive so she’ll find JJ. she’ll sit on his face till she cums at least twice and then ride him until he’s fighting to stay awake, trying so hard to be good but he’s cum three times already and “oh fuck mama please i can’t no more plea-“ and she just slaps him. not hard enough to really hurt but just to shut him up for a minute because “i know you can take it baby, just a little longer.”
and maybe cleo will hear them, come join just for the last round, spreading her pretty thighs to keep JJ’s mouth occupied. and when they’re done Sarah will go run a bath and Cleo will hold JJ close and he might cry in her arms but only a little because he’s floaty right now and mama is no where to be found but it’s ok because “Sh sh sh, you’re alright rude boy. She’ll be right back, she’s just getting a bath ready. C’mere.” and JJ will wrap his arms around her stomach and suck on her chest to ground himself until Sarah comes back.
and sometimes one of them will sleep on the couch, wrapping a pretty red ribbon around their index and middle finger on one hand, to let everyone know they’re ready to be used even though they’re sleeping. maybe it’s JJ, and Pope has a bad dream and he goes out there and fucks JJ awake, pounding into him so deep that neither can tell where one of them ends and the other begins. or maybe it’s Cleo, and John B will walk in and eat her like she’s his last meal. forcing her legs apart with his hands and burying his face deeper even when her nails scratch his arms and pull his hair and she cries for him to stop because fuck man she said she wanted to be used not sucked completely dry.
anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk. please be nice if this sucks i’ve never written anything before😭
