"Sorry, sorry~ But this is important!" He laughs half-apologetically as he continues to tug on Alastor's hand, pulling the other man up the hill they'd been walking up for the better part of 10 minutes. "We're almost there!"

There's a spring in his step as they finally reach the top, a small observation deck set up with a clear view of not only the city below, but the starry sky above. "I heard there would be shooting stars tonight, and I wanted to see them with you~ Then we can make wishes together."

In moments like these he was glad to be .. as he was. Cardio hadn't ever been something he excelled at. And he was sure that his laboured breathing would have been something that detracted from this well-intentioned moment.

Alastor smiled as soon as his eyes laid on the observation deck. It was clearly more popular throughout the daytime and at dusk, for a lingering warmth radiated underfoot where cars had been parked along the asphalt. His cheeks tingled with a growingly familiar glow.

"That sounds really nice," he stupidly grinned through his words as he pulled his beau close and peppered his face with kisses. His eyes were drawn to a park bench, "Shall we sit?"

He's sprawled across the top of them, having knocked both of them down to the ground accidentally. Hiroki had been recklessly running through the town, recklessly attempting to flee the Castle and Akira. He lost his Advisor but he had smacked right into some poor man who had simply been walking through the town. Not the King's brightest and most flattering entrance. He likes to think that he's better than that and more impressive on a good day.

This man smells quite incredible though. "You smell really good--ah, probably not something I should say while laying on top of you." A soft laugh, amused and embarassed, he goes to get off of the man. "Pardon me, I'm so sorry, did you get hurt?"

She blushed, when he called her cute. Although Nunnally was not the one to usually care about her appearance, she wanted to look pretty for Jeremiah. It was a new feeling for her, the one that she did not fully understand, but it made her feel oddly excited...and happy.  Her excitement became even greater, when Jeremiah simply accepted her request to become her partner for the Valentine’s Day. As if it was the most natural thing for her to ask, and the most natural thing for him to agree. Nunnally was standing there leaning on the doorframe uncertain what to do.

Well, she knew perfectly well what she wanted to do, but was that something she could do?

A moment passed, then another one and then one more. Then suddenly a fair-haired girl made her mind, and quickly approached Jeremiah hugging him again and hiding her face in his chest.

“I am so happy you agreed.” �� she whispered – “You are the best thing that happened to me…since…since a log time ago…” – ( “Perhaps even since I was actually adopted. Most of my life I have been a disappointment and a failure…” )

And then she stood up on her toes and placed a gentle quick kiss on his cheek; her lips barely touched his skin, but it was definitely a kiss.

( “Am I starting to feel something for him? Something that I should not? I do not know…I do not care…I just want this moment to last for a bit longer…” )

She pulled away quickly as if frightened for what she had done, but Nunnally was not going to apologize.

“Let’s have some tea, then.” – she said still too ashamed to look at Jeremiah.

    “Mmm… wishes may be a vague way to put it… fulfilling a request.. the duties..? The responsibilities of another?” No, none of those words rolled off the tongue in an exciting way to him. “Actually, wishes suits just fine.” He settles on that, hanging his back off his arm as he continues to speak, acting ignorant of the wet patch that was seeping through the surface, a rather strong dusty floral scent wafting from it. “My precious divine God, she’s fallen ill… so I’m working in her place. She wished to bring happiness to humanity, and help those who need it, so as her angel, it’s simply my duty to fulfill it. Simple as that.” He smiles, as if what he just said was a perfectly normal thing to say.

“You’ll show me to an inn? Thank you so much~” He ignores the part about ‘humans’, but then again he always liked to pick and choose what he want and did not want to hear. “I’ll have to thank you for your kindness somehow..” 

   “I’m sorry–did you say Angel?” Did he read him wrong? It was possible. It wasn’t as if Hiroki’s gift was a for sure thing. Something he could do with complete certainty in what he felt. It depended on if he could understand what he was feeling, what he was sensing. If someone was strong enough they could easily hide themselves from his detection. It was a passive ability, it wasn’t something he controlled. So the other was clearly, if he was saying the truth, a lot stronger than Hiroki was apparently used to. Probably the same as when he encountered Eric and Artemis. He couldn’t sense what they were either.

Right, he had agreed to show him to the Inn. “It’s–we have several but the Fae’s run one over in the Woodland District that lets anyone in.” Including humans which apparently just wasn’t a concern anymore. “As long as you don’t mind Vegetarian food. “N-no…there is nothing wrong…” – she said hesitantly; Nunnally did not want to annoy Jeremiah with her question, but she was more and more confused that she felt nothing but human vibes from him. That was bothering her recently and it became more and more difficult to brush it off. But his calm reply, no confusion visible on his face made her sigh in relief. She must have been all wrong. Perhaps certain sorts of angels were meant to give the human vibes only.

“I…I mean you looked a bit distant recently...a bit not like yourself.” – it was not exactly the true, but she could not come up with anything better suited for the excuse. And she simply could not tell him she was a demon. A demon sensing him being a human – “I guess you were busy.”
