BCC truly taking on the roles of manipulative parental figures has altered my brain chemistry.

The moment Claudio opened his mouth to say he was disappointed in Yuta after everything they’ve been through, going as far to say “I thought I taught you better” and “you’re old enough to make your own decisions” really reinforcing that idea of a broken family. Their bond being the most prevalent on screen for some time, the silly things they do just because it’s them like the crab dance, now he’s evoking this pure feeling of how can he have the audacity to say these things?

Then Mox saying he believes Yuta has the “strength” to “do the right thing” saying it’s all his choice and that he’s “free to leave” he’s “not trapped” it’s his “choice” when they were the ones who have put him in this situation, not only by doing what they did to Bryan but by purposefully leaving yuta in the dark then expecting him to fight alongside them. They have trapped him but they’re relying on the strong connection and emotions they know Yuta has tied to them.

Shaking their heads looking around at eachother saying Yuta is the one who has to look himself in the mirror each day, the fear of disappointing a mentor or parental figure being one most know well.

With Yuta himself he’s completely distraught, he doesn’t know what day it is, he’s forgetting things & he’s struggling because these past few years he’s been given that direction by the exact men trying to use his own emotional state against him… yet the one thing he is doing is guiding himself using the words of the dragon.

What a perfect direction to take this story, what a perfect way to elevate Yuta and make people care so deeply about what happens to him and what he decides to do.

Everything with the BCC is fascinating at the moment. The way the BCC are trying to toxically manipulate Yuta into either falling in line or giving them an excuse to cast him out is very tasty. Mox's character has that poisionous tyler durden allure to him that makes him a very interesting villian. I was skeptical about the private party involvement but I liked how serious they were and Mox's maiming of Zay was very well done both in how Zay sold it and Mox's insistence on this violence being a gift.
