As soon as the Doctor saw Peri she knew it wasn’t a good idea to go over and talk to her. It was dangerous, and would mess up the timelines and was just generally not the right thing to do. And yet her legs just kept walking towards her old friend.

“Peri! Oh it’s been so long.” She grinned. The Doctor was about to ramble before freezing. “Right, you probably don’t know who I am do you?” She asked, frowning softly. “It’s the Doctor.”

Falling. He was falling and it was all Theta’s fault. Well, mostly, he shouldn’t have tried to jump between two buildings. He hit the ground, and suddenly, everything hurt. He wanted to yell for his friend, but even breathing hurt.
