The Cult of Shar 🪦⚫️🌌 Based on “The Four Strings of the Violin” by Edward Okuń 🎻 I was inspired by the repetition in this piece and the themes of Vanitas, death, and the devil’s violin. So we have the cult of Shar chanting, led by The Mother Superior Viconia. Shadowheart wearily eyes the Spear of Night that lays in the violin’s place. It’s surrounded by Night Orchids and Nocturne acknowledges her friend’s fate. I was beyond happy to get this piece done in time for FanX so that @jenniferjenglish could sign it🖤🖤🖤

Demon Slayer 👺🎴🔥I combined two pieces for this one, “St. George” by Solomon J Solomon and “Michael defeats Satan” by Guido Reni. I love the motif of Tanjiro holding Nezuko while slaying Muzan. I’m a little sad his katana wouldn’t work for this piece (as katanas are shorter in terms of swords and are typically wielded with both hands contrary to western swords) But I love how it turned out regardless! I love Nezuko’s little manicure 💅 and I chose to go with Tanjiro’s less controversial earrings. Muzan doesn’t look half bad down there 😳

 Lae’zel the Diplomat 🕊️🗡️🌟 Based on “La Republique” by Jean Leon Gerome ☄️ Lae’zel is a character that has grown very dear to me as I’ve gotten to love and understand her. Upon my last run through BG3 I was able to get the ending where she informs you that she is on a diplomatic mission because you have taught her the power of words over brute strength. This moved me so much that I wanted to pay homage to her development. So I picked this piece because while the figure holds a sword, she also holds an olive branch. She is lion hearted but she stands for peace, ready for an alliance.🌟 Also I purposely made the lion look more statue like… I think Lae’zel would try to fight a real one 😂 Also got this one signed by the LOVELY @devorawilde and I adore her so much! She is so beautiful in person and such a kind, sincere person 😭💖 (She geeked out as much about my husband and my cosplay and art as we geeked out about her🥹💖💖💖)

I decided to do my own list of 30 prompts and I’m going to do a bunch of spooky fan art inspired by Classical Art! I’m determined to finish this challenge 😤 This is Hellboy inspired by “Christ with Sainted Knights” by J.C. Leyendecker✨🔥🗡️ I am so excited about this piece! We have Hellboy holding his destined crown, Liz with her blue flame, and Abe wielding a sword that is slaying Sammael with a fallen Rasputin at their feet.
