🎢: what’s the best ride you’ve ever been on?

The Ferris wheel at Crossroads Village. I have never been on a roller coaster (abundance of fear and lack of opportunity), and have been on very few park rides in general. But the CV Ferris wheel is just unsteady enough to be thrilling, and just boring enough to keep a kid from freaking out.

⛲️: what’s your ideal dream date?

Going out to do something physical (skating, hiking, whatever) and then going back to the guy’s house for dinner and chill time.

🎑: city apartment or country house?

Screw the city. Country house every time.

🗻: what are your favorite genres of music?

Showtunes, pop, indie pop, classic rock, country, 80′s music, classical, Christmas music, and movie and video game soundtracks.

🌅: are you a morning bird or a night owl?

Night owl. Unfortunately.

🌄: are you a planner or a improviser?

Mostly a planner. I used to have a lot of trouble improvising, but working as a camp counselor helped me learn to be comfortable making it up as I go.

🌆: do you get homesick easily?

Yes, but mostly for the home I had when my mom was still around. The longer my stepmom is in the family, the more our home changes and the easier it is to leave it for long periods of time. Blessing in disguise.

🌃: how does politics make you feel?

How doesn’t it make me feel? But seriously, equal parts angry and optimistic these days.

🌠: if you were allowed three wishes, what would they be?

(1) The ability to talk to my mother whenever I want

(2) For my dad to have not had a stroke and be in good health

(3) Upgrading my appearance in some way

🏰: to you, what’s the most magical place on earth?

I don’t have a specific location, just a region: the Pacific Northwest. I love the Midwest, but there’s something about the PNW’s atmosphere that draws me in.
