Been thinking about my life as Zuki a lot lately, so I'm gonna share some more shit about it. This is gonna be a long ass post, lol.

Class 1A was really close in my canon. We were a family [I would use the word pack]. There were 21 of us originally (everyone from the "actual" canon minus Mınət@ who didn't exist as far as I know, lol, and me and one other noncanon 'character' who's name is Hikari Kubo-Mori).

More stuff about how I got along with some other Class 1A students below

A bit after the dorms became a thing, Hitoshi Shinso joined our class. Now, I was always a bit of a 'nerd' when it came to quirks, lol. [Me and Izuku loved to analyze quirks together cause it's very interesting and just awesome to know more about quirks, lol.]

Anyway, I was very into quirk analysis, and Hitoshi's quirk was something that was very interesting and didn't really scare me (guess it comes with having a quirk that scared others and shit). So Hitoshi and I became friends pretty quick after they joined Class 1A cause I was also way more 'into' making friends at that point, lol. [I was also a part of the "I didn't come to make friends" club at first, lol]. Then, a bit later, I got adopted by Aizawa and Present Mic, who had adopted Hitoshi before me, so we became siblings.

I don't know why exactly I brought up Hitoshi first, besides the fact that he's my brother. But I'm gonna be moving on to others now.

Bakugo Katsuki, Izuku Midoriya, and I were all childhood friends. We were actually pretty close before Bakugo got his quirk, I got mine, and Izuku didn't get a quirk. [I'm not really going to go into the whole thing. Just know that for a while, none of us were really friends].

I re-became friends with Izuku at the end of our last middle school year (reminder that in my canon UA was a college type thing). Shit had happened before that made me realize shit. [I was never a bully, but I also never stood up for Izuku like I should've, I had my "reasons," but idc they were kinda dumb and shit but I was a dumb pup at the time].

A bit after the dorms happened, Bakugo found me on the roof of the dorms [don't go there, I liked it cause it was quiet and I could feel the wind on my wings and shit] and asked me a few questions that kinda suprised me at first. The main thing was asking about how it's like with a service dog, how to get over the feeling of not being good enough cause of needing a dog to help, how to deal with others when it comes to service dogs, and stuff like that. Turns out that in a session with Hound Dog, a service dog was suggested to Bakugo because of the training camp and everything. I told him the truth that I still had difficulty with all of the things that having a service dog brings/causes but that I loved Remo so much and was greatful to him. Me and Kats became friends again after that (I called him Kats because when I was younger [and could speak, so I was at least 7], I had trouble with his name so I called him Kats instead).

If you notice, I use both Bakugo and Kats for him, and that's cause I did then as well, lol.

Me and the rest of the Dekusquad that I haven't mentioned already [who I have mentioned already is just Izuku and Hitoshi].

The Dekusquad was mainly known to be: me, Midoriya Izuku/Deku, Uraraka Ochako, Iida Tenya, Todoroki Shouto, Asui Tsuyu/Tsu, Kubo-Mori Hikari, and Shinso Hitoshi [last names then first names]. Though we also had Yaoyorozu Momo, Tokoyami Fumikage, and Aoyama Yuga.

Some people I use last names more and some I use first names more. It's mainly based on how close I was to them specifically and which is easier for me. Like with Momo, it's easier with her first name than her last name, lol. But it's easier for me to use Tokoyami rather than their first name.

Now, with the Bakusquad, lol.

The Bakusquad was: Bakugo Katsuki, Kirishima Eijirou, Kaminari Denki, Sero Hanta, Ashido Mina, and Jirou Kyouka.

I already talked about Kats. So, with the rest of the Bakusquad, I was pretty close with all of them. I was not as close to Sero, not for any reason, I just didn't hang with him a lot.

Despite being close to Jirou, I tend to use her last name cause it's easier for me, lol. Same with Kiri.

Mina and Denki were the first of the Bakusquad to give me permission to use their first names, which is what I mainly use for them.

It terms of the overall class [not including Izuku and Bakugo ofc], the first one to give permission for their first name/a nickname to be used to me was actually Hikari, the second is ofc Tsu.

There are definitely people I didn't mention here. It's not cause of any reason, I've just already gone on for a while, so this is it for this post for now. I'll probably reblog if I want to add anything later, lol.

I’m not the typical kind of vampire or yandere and that’s okay. I’m me and that’s what matters.

I don’t like being big on drinking blood of anything, but I’m here if you think something’s off with it or wanting to ask how it tastes. Or even making sure you’re okay while bleeding.

I love garlic bread. The thing that I hate the most is gluten. Gluten is my garlic for things.

I love practicing witch craft.

I like going outside to take photos of the plants around. I hate the sun and the heat but I’m not going to let it stop me.

I’m in love with pastel goth and want more outfits but I also much rather prefer darker clothes. Steampunk is my favorite, though.

I’m platonically obsessive. I’m aroace but that doesn’t stop me from being obsessive towards people.

It might stop me from being in a relationship, but I still love people in my own way.

I’m the worship type, not the murder type. I’m the caretaker type, not the violent type.

It’s okay for me to be different and it’s okay for me to be… me.

I feel like there’s always stereotypes that stops people from being inclusive of others.

And sometimes I feel like I’ll be excluded anyways because I’m a yandere or I identity as a vampire. But I’ll make my way to a place that accepts me someday.

Kith and Kin: “WHAT THE FUCK, LITTLE BROTHER” Shikibi yelled, surprising the rest of 1A “I TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES THAT YOUR BRACER CANNONS SHOULD ONLY BE USED AS A LAST RESORT! NOT AGAINST YOUR CLASSMATES, AND MOST DEFINITELY NOT INSIDE A BUILDING”

Class 1A watched as the sand haired siblings wrestled each other. What surprised them more was that Bakugou didn’t use his quirk.

“SHUT THE FUCK UP! IF THE DAMN NERD COULDN’T TAKE A FEW EXPLOSIONS THAN HE SHOULDN’T BE HERE” He roared back.

Izuku couldn’t help but sigh at the scene, Shikibi always tended to overreact. What went unmentioned was that he was holding back his twin from joining in. He isn’t even sure how she found out.

What he did find funny-and that was something he wouldn’t say out loud-was that every time Shikibi got really upset with Katsuki she would call him ‘little brother’ KNOWING that would just upset him even more.

“Wow, they sure are lively” said Uraraka, “You weren’t kidding when you said that!”

“Indeed! Though it is unbecoming of our upper classmen to use such foul language” Iida added, a bit perturbed that Shikibi was not just matching, but exceeded the blonde bomber “She is supposed to set an example for not just her underclassmen, but her young brother as well”

“She’s not normally this bad”

DUDE YES PREENING!!

I made a post about that a bit, lol. Yeah, it's very much a pack thing! At first, only very few people were allowed to touch my wings at all, lol. Eventually, more people were added to that list, but the list of people who could actually preen my wings was still pretty small (around 6-8 people I think), lol. It's a very intimate thing, it's a pack thing, it's special.

I really consider/considered my whole class as my pack, but not everyone was in the same "category" of what they could do, if you get what I mean. Like not everyone was given permission to preen my wings and not everyone could suprise me with hugs or any touches without getting bit or something [very, very few people were in this category, mostly cause I got used to the little noises and shit they would make/do when they were about to touch me, lol. So it wasn't fully a suprise and shit.]

Also yeah looking at the actual canon for MHA, it's pretty fucking bad for my pack. I mean, we all had trouble and shit in my canon, but considering my canon didn't have the actual war and shit, it wasn't as bad in some ways. So it's nice to know that I was there for my pack as they were there for me.

Dude, I miss being able to fly. I also have to have a fear of heights in this life, sadly.

I really didn't learn how to fly until after the dorms were made at UA, lol. To be fair, I didn't really have anyone to properly teach me about flying with my wings when I was younger. My older sibling would've had to be the one to do that, and they were busy a lot when it would've been the time to teach me really, and they had to learn on their own so they weren't thinking about having to teach me, lol. I was lucky that I had Hikari [another noncanon being] to help me cause they also had wings and shit. Though their wings were of a different type [my wings were that of like a crow, and I can't quite remember what type of bird their wings were like.] They were still one of the best in helping me with learning to fly.

I don't mention much about my quirk, except for my wings, ears, and tail, lol. But the other "part" of my quirk let me essentially become a spirit like thing, which with that my form was a wolfdog with wings, lol. I could fly just fine in that form, just not in my "normal" form for some reason. Idk why that is exactly, but whatever.

It's missing my pack hours, lol.

aaa hihi!! good to hear from you, i definitely feel you on the 'bad at starting conversations' lol!

the first thing that comes to mind a memory of playing video games with Tomura and Shuichi. I wasn't very good at it, but it was good bonding and i loved playing with them. I would only play the 'silly' games like Mario Kart or Smash Bros, they got too into the 'serious' ones for me. I finished in last place every time lmao, so i mostly spent my time teasing whoever was in second place. Dabi would sit with us too sometimes, either lazily scrolling on his phone or bothering the three of us, trying to help whoever would give him the most attention lol. The others joined in sometimes too, Himiko and Jin and rarely Sho and Toshi if they were hanging out. Himiko would shriek excitedly and bump us while Jin cheered her on and cursed her out. It was good.

If you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from BNHA? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Sorry if you've answered this question before....Thanks....

My faves, I've been asked a few times so I'll be light on explanation, but, honestly, I'm liable to switch up depending on whatever I just read or watched.

Katsuki Bakugo - I just expanded on this but I just generally think more people could give more grace to the traumatized little demon child who has, for reasons against his will, largely been put through trials not only as Midoriya's rival but also as a potential love interest (re: damsel in distress trope)

Izuku Midoriya - I kinda touched on what makes Midoriya interesting but realize it's kinda in the context of the chemical reaction between he and Bakugo. Simply, I like Midoriya for a few reasons that I may not have previously intimated. Those being he is a certified chaos gremlin which is sometimes lost on us as the reader/viewer because he's our narrator (Bakugo only seems insolent. He'll say "don't tell me what to do", but do exactly as you've asked. Midoriya will smile in your face after being told what not to do and adapt the most pants shitting plan to break his bones and risk fatal injury known to man right after.), he's such a fucking nerd, also, kin.

Shouta Aizawa - I love a good traumatized character. But his characterization is so stern, rough around the edges and nonchalant (I usually like trauma with a side of silly goofy✨). It truly belies the fact that he's just a big ole softie who understands the nuance of his students in such an endearing way. Like, I just love him.

Shoto Todoroki - Character wise, Shoto is really entertaining because, while he is a nepo baby, he is skilled to back up why he should be in class 1A. He is not dumb but he is simple. I appreciate that he is regularly unexpected comedic relief and it definitely comes at the price of something neurospicy. Additionally, he and his family situation are just as integral to the story as Midoriya and Bakugo's evolving relationship and power dynamic and it adds texture to him as a tritagonist.

Eijirou Kirishima - My fifth is an oscillating fan available for whoever last occupied my mind but this comes from a recent ask where someone mentioned being a kiribaku because same. Kirishima is the first to earn Bakugo's respect because of his earnest and unrelenting attempts to befriend him. He and Denki are good indicators that Bakugo is, perhaps, not as enigmatic as the narration leads us to believe. His veneer of manly bravado barely covering his insecurities and lack of confidence? The fact that he thought the best way to be a new person was to dye his hair?? KIN. He is precious to me.

These moments are not in any particular (in terms of favorite or chronological) order.

Feral Deku Being Found By Kacchan - Just, the whole arc of being found by Class 1A, beaten down by them, apology in the rain, and being advocated for by Class 1A against an angry mob? The whole thing was goosebumps inducing, just the way they've all grown.

Discovering the Sir Nighteye's Prediction Saw Deku Dying in Action - Toga is a disruptor but also, perhaps, so are all those OFA quirks. Even so, Sir Nighteye not only resigned to his own death but also Deku's which is so wild of him when he so earnestly wanted to discourage All Might from the path to destruction he saw ahead of him. He really had beef with a kid. BUT ALSO Sir Nighteye coming back to be like "All Might... this isn't a comic book, you don't have to die here,". OMG the boomerang arcs all of these characters get is just so heartwarming/wrenching depending on who it is.

Bakugo, With No Other Choice, Facing Off Against Shigaraki - We got so much from that, including, confirming that he cared about that whole host of extras so much that he would think to pass along their care to someone else. That was just so beautiful for his development but also real tears. I remember I was in the midst of reading the manga for the first time and saw a hint of a leak and I read like 150 chapters in a matter of days to get caught up.

Heroes Rising - Literally, that whole movie. GOOSEBUMPS.

Bakugo vs Uraraka at the Sports Festival - This fight was so brilliant for so many reasons.

1. Uraraka gave Bakugo a legitimate run for his money all on her own 2. It demonstrates sexism in universe based on audience perception of the fight as well as how much public opinion bears on the split between a hero and a villain 3. Aizawa gave an unbiased interpretation of the fight and continues to defend Bakugo's character later in the story when people bring up his "villainous" behavior at the Sport's Festival 4. Bakugo is shown to be really noble where other boys from Class 1A seem to think they need to go easy on girls (who end up handing them their ass later) during the Sports Festival but also during the Class 1A vs Class 1B joint exercise 5. It spurred Uraraka to push beyond the confines of her quirk and seek tutelage under Gunhead which is like.. so huge in terms of her development but also pushes her outside of a perception of helplessness that would typically befall a main female lead in a shonen series.

i miss class 1a so. damn. bad.

and i dunno if i should feel guilty about it, because i was THERE, i should have been able to do something to prevent. well. All That. but instead i was just extremely present during one of the most traumatizing periods of history those kids experienced.

in my canon, i remember explaining that Being a Hero™ isn't nearly as glamorous as it looked on tv, and i tried to warn them about how little privacy you have for your entire life, how it's a military career so you have to commit war crimes upon request, how it's a career that only ends when you die or when you get a disabling injury that prevents you from moving forward. it just was not the helpful job that it was presented as by the propaganda.

and like!! that's how it was when i was going to UA!! nearly forty years had passed without any meaningful change or progress!!! my entire career and everything i did to try and improve society as a whole were almost meaningless!!!

i hate to find myself agreeing with Shigaraki so often, but while his methods were wrong his grievances were absolutely correct. he should have been saved as a child, and a society that can leave a child to suffer alone and orphaned on the streets is a society that has failed. i just completely failed him when i was trying to make a world that saved little boys like him because i was exactly like him. i wish i could blame it on AFO but that was just. i don't even know what happened, i tried so hard to make a world where people felt safe and secure enough to reach out to each other. it was supposed to inspire mutual aid!!!! All Might isn't a person it's an idea, all of us were supposed to be acting 'how All Might would' not just me!!

i just miss class 1a so bad because every time i told them "it's not selfish to quit" and "it's okay to change your mind and live a happy life" then they would double down and do something tooth-rottingly sweet and caring. that group of crazy kids were more ethical and heroic than the entire HPSC combined. i feel guilty missing them because i remember that i spent half the time or more basically just shitting on their career choice and dreams, but it felt so evil to just not warn them. i felt like i had to protect them, and nobody else in the world seemed like they were trying to do that.

sending the fucking children onto the front lines, my ass. i have a kin mem of physically quirkless fist fighting Nezu for that one. like what the fuck, man, i fucking trusted you. the unforgivable action of allowing the first years with provisional licences to fight on the front lines of a war. im beyond words. i think it becomes apparent how much i was grasping at straws because of the Iron Might arc, but i just don't know. none of those wonderful kids deserved to go through that. maybe that's what this confession is, an apology.

Class 1-A, I am so sorry I couldn't protect you in the ways you deserved. I am so sorry your high school experience was cut off and marred. You all deserved better, from the world, from UA, and from me. I'm sorry you had to tuck your childhoods away and take on responsibilities that were too big even for your heroes and caretakers. I'm sorry you all learned how traumatic a hero's work is. It still feels like there was a way to avoid it. I'm sorry you didn't experience the peace and joy that you should have. I'm sorry you had to grieve. Each and every one of you were such wonderful people and beautiful souls and it hurts so bad to remember how much you all had to go through. You deserved better and I'm just sorry.

Hihi!! Love the blogs new look, and congrats on the plural awakening ^^ for a question- what do you like/dislike about canon? Also, what were some major differences between canon and your universe?

I'm guessing this is to do with MHA/BNHA.

So, about the question. One major difference is that UA was a college, not a high school. Another major difference would be that there was no actual war.

About the liking/disliking for canon. I guess the main thing I dislike is how many of the people I care about got extremely hurt or even died in canon and just the fact that it's so different from my universe. As for liking, well I do quite like to see some of the friendships with Class 1A (although I wish there was more).

Also, I haven't watched the anime or read the manga fully, so there could be things missing from any of the parts of the question(s).

I am here yet again making a canon call huehue-

Unfortunately I do not have many memories from my Yaoyorozu Momo canon- however I do remember being great friends with Uraraka and Tsu; and somewhere down the line I grew close to Bakugo.

I also had a hard time with my self confidence in my work and generally in myself as I was always striving for perfection- I wasn’t always down on my self, but it weighed heavily on my soul.

But of course I miss my classmates and teachers and would love to chat with anyone* regardless if they were in my timeline!

mha canon is making me really sad 😭😭😭 and now im just pouring one out/offering a hug to denki and class 1a as a whole.

like i guess i became extremely canon divergent somewhere around the training camp arc, but. in my canon then i remember explaining, in depth, often, how inappropriate it was that class 1-a were literal child soldiers. just to anybody who would listen, including the class. i remember how weird it was that dark shadow, a fully sapient and cognizant individual who was separate from fumikage, wasn't given classwork and wasn't on the roll call in classes outside of my own. i remember stepping in and just kind of lecturing katsuki, sometimes in like a really personal way, because his personal trauma was causing him to behave in a way that was 1.) not only hurting and deeply negatively impacting the behavior of those around him but 2.) something that he, deep down, did not morally agree with and was sure to regret and hate about himself as soon as he fully understood.

i have a lot of kin mems of redirecting classroom discussion away from teasing or laughing at any specific students individually, which included not allowing the students to hit one another (mineta) and not allowing the students to just point and laugh (???????) when someone got injured (denki, yamomo, todoroki) although admittedly it was extremely difficult to get jiro to stop teasing and laughing at kaminari. she had an ulterior motive to cope with, and i think she's valid.

also in my canon then midnight didn't die, and seeing how that went down in canon made me so mad that i just had to take a break from the entire concept for two weeks. im still pissed about that. my fix it fic where the adults are actually responsible and the kids actually get care is so 💞💖💝💕
