"What's EvilliousTale and what is it about?"

A: It's a crossover between Undertale and Evillious Chronicles, in which the characters in EC are replaced with the Undertale cast!

"What's Evillious Chronicles?"

A: Evillious Chronicles is an expansive dark fantasy multi-media series conceptualized by Akuno-P, originally told in song using the Vocaloid software. Expanding into light novels, short stories, and manga, the overarching story revolves around the vessels of sin, seven objects inhabited by demons that spread malice and calamity in their wake, and the numerous characters affected by them throughout the centuries. I reccomend reading it!

"What's Undertale?"

A: Undertale is a 2015 2D role-playing video game created by American indie developer Toby Fox. The player controls a child who has fallen into the Underground: a large, secluded region under the surface of the Earth, separated by a magical barrier. I reccomend playing it!

December 27th, EC 500

Riliane Lucifen D'Autriche was executed on this day. Now I post about it.

I don't know if I really believe that we would've used a term like "December" there, nor am I fully convinced that this would be the equivalent date. But, this is the canonical day and month, so it has to hold some sort of meaning -- even if that meaning is only felt from the "happy birthday" messages I get from other Evillious kin/fictives.

Normally, when I think about the day my twin brother chose to be killed in my place, I feel... thankful. Melancholic, but somehow radiant. It would be ungracious otherwise, to not be thankful for the gift he gave me. Don't you think? Other emotions raise to flood me, but none overtake my heart, not fully.

Except this time: I haven't been so miserable about this event in years. I was probably sixteen or seventeen years old the last time it made me THIS unhappy. All I can think today is: "it hurts. I don't want to be alone. It should have been me."

How selfish...! Why is it that I'm thinking such selfish thoughts?

After all, I was alone for a bit, yes... but Rill, remember? You became friends with Clarith, with others. You found community at the monastery. Your brother wanted you to have a second chance.

Gghh... Yes, fine. Fine. Sure. I'll cross my arms and nod at that. It doesn't help emotionally right now, but it helps cognitively. Lu li la. Whateverrrr. I would've been poorly behaved in the Black Box anyhow.

Which song series do you think are more disturbing, the onibi series or the evillious chronicles?

I haven't heard much about the onibi series, I can only say that, although the songs of Evillious Chronicles are "disturbing" when you hear them for the first time, once you are deeper into the saga you will be used to them.

Also, one thing to clarify is that not ALL EC songs must be necessarily disturbing, it is usually varied depending on the story they tell, because we have sentimental ballads like...

There are also the songs of Clarith and Michaela, but I no longer have the limit to put more videos here :')

There are also songs where "disturbing" is not frequently mentioned, it can be seen with songs like That King was Born from Mud, Swear an Oath on That Bridge, Handbeat Clocktower and Heartbeat Clocktower.

Regarding the world in which Sister Clarith's song takes place- I think it could be the Curses & Blessings World. We know that the Twin Rabbits song takes place there (as the PV says) and they're already recruiting orphans. And the Rilia-Renée song also has a lot of similarities with EC, like the 'Witch of the Abyss'...

However, an interesting thing to notice is that at the end of Twin Rabbits they wake up in "that" forest (our Evillious, as the PV says), and the Sister Clarith song says that the restaurant was also located in a forest, so... interesting. Although I don't think it makes sense for the Sister Clarith song to take place in EC proper, because if we are actually in Held's forest, Lich could simply grab some mud and make Banica a proper body (and Banica's still a cat, so).

I suppose. I guess I'm just not entirely clear on mothy's intentions--if he's planning to stay in that world specifically or not. The narrative of the songs seems to suggest multiple dimension hopping--Atelier Horloge "never stays in the same place twice", all of the E.A.T. journey songs implying they will go to as many worlds as they need to until Banica is satisfied, etc. It feels odd to do that, and then turn around and say "They went to 3 worlds and that's it".

Or maybe he's just lingering in this one for a tiny bit before leaving.

But yeah, it does make sense that it's not EC. It is possible it's the Curses and Blessings world, I'm just being thick-headed about it.
