i am currently still working on the jikook serial killers fic! i have reached 10.4k words with maybe one more scene to write. and then i will be working on whatever other wip seems most pressing to finish this week i have like 4 to choose from, honestly.

because you asked nicely and i love sharing snippets, i will post something for you! the contents and even the warnings are dark, so i'll put them under the cut!

warnings/context: jk is a serial killer and he has captured jm with the intention of killing him too. they have already hooked up, as per the last snippet i posted, and jm is making an interesting confession, seeing as he thinks he's likely going to die, anyway.

"I admire what you do, you know."

A scoff rocks through Jeongguk and causes the flame to dance. "What?"

"Why do you think I'm obsessed with true crime?" Jimin's voice shakes and he finds it difficult to stare into Jeongguk's eyes as they speak, but he does his best. "If you really are the serial killer who has been leaving behind all those heads, then you must know that I live and breathe what you do. It goes beyond just a fascination that I voice in my show. It's respect, Jeongguk."

Jeongguk's eyes flicker with something soft and knowing before turning cold, and Jimin sucks in a shaky breath under his gaze.  

"You must really think I'm fucking stupid," Jeongguk bites, voice deep and laced with anger.

This was the possibility that Jimin feared, but also the one he expected when he decided to open up. Of course, it won't be easy for him to convince Jeongguk he means it. Not when he has a friend in the police department. 

"How do I prove it to you?"

Jeongguk flicks the lighter closed and the sudden darkness makes Jimin gasp and jump back, despite having nowhere to go.

"Easy, little lamb," Jeongguk teases, leaning in close enough to brush his nose against Jimin's. "It was getting too hot to continue holding."

Jimin trembles as he angles his face toward Jeongguk and brushes their lips together. His shoulders are sore from his arms being tied back, and his legs ache under Jeongguk's weight, but all he wants is to kiss the man who causes him so much distress. He wants to taste the mint on Jeongguk's tongue and swallow his soft, hungry whimpers whole. 

After a moment of hesitation, Jeongguk reciprocates. It's light at first—a soft brush of lips. But then Jeongguk licks at Jimin's mouth and hungrily sucks his bottom lip before prising his lips apart and rolling his tongue over Jimin's. His kiss is needy and sloppy, and Jimin loves the way it feels—loves how completely helpless he is in Jeongguk's hold. Even if the man is holding a knife.

yes, honestly, that is the dream. i might have a story in mind that i want to write, which i will probably do as a fanfic first, then adapt into a novel later. hopefully i will begin that project next year!

⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

it takes me anywhere from a day to a week lol. it depends on what i am writing, how excited i am to be writing, and how much homework i have.

💥 How do you feel about criticism?

there is...no easy answer for this. i am definitely open to constructive criticism, and i try not to take it too personally, but if people are just complaining for the sake of complaining, i can get bitchy. i do this for free, i'm not asking for criticism, and there's no need to complain about something you could simply not read.

but it depends on the person, the criticism, etc. i seek out constructive opinions from writer and reader friends all the time, as it is, and i am always very happy for their feedback.

i would definitely never give criticism unless asked, and i hope that others do the same.

I share all of my ideas. I am constantly screaming to others about my stories. Often it's @neoneunnajimin who gets my insane ramblings. And various group chats with @blog-name-idk, @eserethriddle, @madbutgloriouspond, @haliiimede, @here2bbtstrash, @gimmethatagustd, and @rapline-heaux. All of these insanely fun and talented people are the best sounding boards and I find I get a lot of inspiration from them!

4. How do you choose which fics to write?

I write everything, eventually. But I try to prioritize deadlines for fests.

Boy Blue Taehyung 😬 and Boy Blue Yoongi lol.

Oof, honestly, Boy Blue. We have smut, fluff, major character death, drug use, torture. There truly is a little of everything!

Good morning, my dear! You are in luck because I love talking about my fics and don't mind answering 8 questions (lmaooooo).

24. How did you come up with title for Boy Blue?

I planned on having blue Taehyung be my yandere and the name just kind of popped into my head. Blue hair, eventual blue feelings that lead him to madness. The usual.

25. Which idea came to you first in Boy Blue?

Gosh, it's been so long, now, I don't really remember. I was working on this pretty linearly, though, and didn't have much of the yandere/horror aspects planned yet, so it was probably just getting these characters to meet and telling the story through text message format, because I was reading a lot of those at the time and wanted to try it.

26. Which part of Boy Blue was the hardest to write?

Getting all of Taehyung's little idiosyncrasies without changing POV was a challenge. Setting things up like making it clear that he was watching MC through her window, showing the audience that he planted the camera in her living room, etc. were also tricky because I only wanted the reader to know as much as the reader character did.

27. If you were ever to do a sequel to Boy Blue, what do you think might happen in it?

I am working on a sequel, so I don't want to say too much! But the leads will not be the same as Boy Blue (different MC, and Tae won't be the main character) and it will be a bit more dark/psychological, if that makes sense. I will still try to keep some of the Boy Blue levity and humor, but sadly a lot of my characters are dead and that's hard to come back from.

24. How did you come up with title for Collateral?

Collateral idea all started with this post, where I wrote, "Mob Boss Min Yoongi is here to collect his payment and he’s decided the only thing he wants is you." The word "Collateral" came to mind when I started working on the fic itself. It was a pretty single-layered name at first but I have been slowly giving it more meaning over time.

25. Which idea came to you first in Collateral?

At first, all I knew was that I wanted mob boss Yoongi and MC to come together and for there to be chaos. I had hardly even read mafia fics so I wasn't sure where to start, and you can tell with the first chapter that I was very much winging it to gauge interest. First substantial plan was establishing the family, and MC's character, and going from there.

27. If you were ever to do a sequel to Collateral, what do you think might happen in it?

By the time I am done with Collateral, there may not be room for a sequel lol. But I can't even begin to imagine, because I still have so much story to tell!
