also one thing im starting to wonder if there is any kind of supernatural element going on in clannad. the description of kotomi's parents theory was like actually weird. i wish my screenshot tool was working bcuz i tried to save it but regardless i almost thought the 'twist' would be kotomi was really a time traveler. Then there's the balls of light, which are pretty much checkmarks so far but did play a slight role in the kotomi route. I'm leaning towards no supernatural but id love to be pleasantly surprised about this (as long as it isn't overdone)

21. January - 22:20 Stella of the End Playtime: 8.5h (over 4 days)

(Probably contains spoilers) Such a lovely piece of art this game was. First of all, I have to say, the soundtracks were really wonderful, immediatelly recognized the style it shares with the music from Rewrite. So this is now the second game from VisualArts/Key I've played.

The story instantly got me hooked. I simply love to read manga with post apocalyptic and android themes and quite enjoy stories featuring father-daughter relationship. The story fulfilled my expectations, overall it went quite as I imagined it would, loved seeing Jude's character develop and get softer over time, although I feel a bit sad seeing as the game has only one route.

I expected that in the end it'd be Philia who'd pick up the gun or that the game would have 2 routes, where once you replay the game that'd happen. But I wouldn't say it was a let down either way, the ending was sad, yet so beautiful and so emotional.

One thing I want to point out: Jude: takes credentials of the guy and his daughter that were murdered by city robots Also Jude: surprised the robot is attacking him... Yeah right, figures, not the most skilled move.

I don't have a lot more to say about the game, I'm having quite a hard time recalling a lot of parts, or they simply aren't important to include. Philia was cute af, so lovely and cheerful, my screenshot folder is full of the full page illustrations of hers.

But that's all about that. I look forward to reading Planetarian and after that probably Summer Pockets, or honestly I should finally finish the WorldEnd Ex... Later on I think I'll try playing minori games. I loved the animes Ef: A tale of melodies/memories, and eden* looks wonderful. Outside of that my backlog consists of Little Busters, Clannad and the rest on wishlist Tomoyo After, Clannad side stories, Harmonia.

"I'm so happy you finally acknowledged our friendship." Harvey said with a thumbs up. Harvey paused for a moment before writing that down. "Brilliant! I haven't even factored that in yet." Harvey exclaimed with a maniacal grin. Harvey paused. "I am not a fool though. You'd be surprised what I know." Harvey said cryptically as he continued to write and draw a variable for the unsuspecting fool and dragon berry rum.

Harvey also heard the talks of Magnus Anderson. And Harvey wondered if that was factor too. "Did you hear anything about this Magnus guy?" Harvey asked drawing an M followed by a question mark. The paper had floating letters each with slanted edge. Attempting to draw a slanted line. He was infused by all the factors.

"What if they're a conglomerate and merge with another company? Then I would have no other choice." Harvey pointed out. Harvey touched his own nose subconsciously. He turned the page and got the devious grin. Maybe he'll just draw Hiroji in revenge.

He jumps off his own chair when Hiroji jumps to the seat, hiding the epic drawing. "Reflexes." Harvey said calmly. And flipped the page in the notepad, keeping his calculation to himself.

"I would at least try before stealing it and saying it's mine." Harvey said with a wicked grin more occupied.Adding the anger symbol. He paused and dropped the pencil.

"I have completed it." Harvey said with revealing a picture looking like a medicore screenshot from clannad. . "It looks just like you."

"buddy, i wouldn't trust you as far as i could throw you." hiroji gives a shrug. doesn't meant that he wasn't at least a little curious about it but he would rather harvey think that hiroji would rather be chewing on grass than be interested in what he had to say. he shakes his head, hand resting against the bar. "what's it matter, though? you're not answering that question. dragonberry rum is doing what every other bottle is doing on the goddamn shelf, just trying to get noticed so someone unsuspecting fool will give them money."

a glance out to the crowd, listening to the conversations had under everyone's breath as he jumped around told him that opinions were one way or another. most seemed to think this guy, this magnus anderson, is just another guy looking for money. others actually believe in his work ( which from what hiroji could guess and what little information he could find, was decent enough. ) and others had this idea the guy was a scumbag. hiroji — really didn't give two fucks one way or the other if he was. biggest issue if he is? absolutely none. if the guy isn't paying him, hiroji doesn't care.

"your nose gets too damn big, people will start to notice. if they're making other drinks on the aisle then stop shopping there. go somewhere else." he wipes at the bar with his towel. eh, he could probably take a break. it wasn't like they were paying him. he steps — and jumps, appearing right next to harvey before taking the seat. & grabbing the ... whatever the fuck he made him, he takes a loud gulp. "your own spin? what, are you going to shove the guy over and just say it's mine now."

he shouldn't laugh at that image. but he does.

Kyou and Nagisa should’ve had more screen time together, same with a lot of the other characters who didn’t interact much. :(
