I don't mean to compare, but which shipping in RE fandom received the most support? Sometimes I thought Aeon but they alsi received many hate. And this is not only Aeon or Cleon but in general, example: Valenfield. Because in the end Capcom probably won't give romance since this is survival horror & by not give any romance, fans are free to ship their favorite character with anyone they like. 😃

😅I'm sorry I didn’t answer you, I'm a terrible person! 😖But I’ll do it right now ...

In this fandom and all that exist, there are several ships (some strange) but hey, I think there are many couples so far in the saga of RE, Capcom only enjoys seeing wars arise from these and instead of helping us alone It gives us more to fight.

First of all we must clarify that the Cleon began to "take force" with the release of the Remake, however this was not soooo famous (I didn’t find the correct word).

Well, as we already know there are two super strong ships in the fandom, I mean the Valenfield and the Aeon, if there are more like ClaireXSteve (I don’t remember the name of their ship) the recent SherryXJake among others, but they didn’t take as much force as these two. We can say that Valenfield and Aeon are the parents of relationships in the Resident Evil series.

Let's start with the most desired relationship of the saga, personally Valenfield is a beautiful couple, has a future? yes and one but I suppose Capcom sees them only as friends, although we must admit that those little moments where they show affection make us feel their little attraction, in RE 5 (I hope I'm not the only one) I saw that the feelings are Chris, I could tell you that he has a crush with Jill, however it is Jill who sees Chris as a friend and savior, in conclusion I think that Capcom doesn’t want to relate lovingly to Chris and Jill .. 😪

Something similar happens with Aeon; Ada and Leon know each other in dangerous circumstances over the course of time. The boys fall in love (yes, it is possible to fall in love even in less than an hour) and they separate their ways thinking that they will no longer find their way. The surprise comes when they meet again in Spain, here we can see that Leon took the liberty of investigating the whereabouts of the spy discovering that he is still alive and working for the fearsome Wesker. they return to "reconnect" in East Slavia, here both the writer of the film and the characters themselves make it clear that they kept a contact outside the scenario that represents the saga, to end up stumbling again in RE6 (not to mention all places 😅) to end up separating from new account.

Unlike Valenfiled, Ada and Leon maintained a growth in the most notorious relationship because although they didn’t keep in touch after the events of Raccoon, Leon maintained some interest in knowing something of the girl he met, instead Ada mentions us in a part that something of her changed after knowing it, and even the same Wesker mentions to us the error of Ada when being interested with Leon.

Then Aeon is the most worked relationship and it could be said that the most stable that Capcom has done (that's not to mention RE Dead Aim, since they are practically other versions of Ada and Leon XD), good as it is, in everything that goes The Aeon saga has taken an important evolution both in characters and in the same relationship. Although Capcom takes it as a couple of partners named Leon and Ada as the best of their partners in the saga over there in 2015, which makes us think (or at least to me) that this is one of the couples favorites of the creators.

But yes, in conclusion to all this bible that I just did, I could say that the ship with the most attention from Capcom is Aeon and they only use Valenfield to make the fans suffer, once I mention it and I affirm it, due to the scenario Representing Resident Evil is not very successful to make pairs everywhere (I mean canon couples) so Capcom keeps our characters in a thin line between action / horror and romance, is a "perfect balance" for them.
