Hello! I really love reading your Sunshine AU, but if you dont mind, I have a few questions.

1. Where exactly did the inspiration for the bathbomb come from?

2. If Dorrie (the CPS worker who appeared in Secret's worth) did find out about Jim how would she react?

3. When it comes to Morgana, what will she do when she possesses Claire?

By the time I got to planning the "How" of the troll potion getting into Jim's bath I'd already decided that James was going to be the ultimate culprit behind the potion. I just needed a method for sneaking the potion into the bath. I knew you can make homemade bath bombs with baking soda and scented oils, so James making the bath bomb of doom by mixing the troll potion with baking soda was the best solution.

Initially Dorrie would be as shocked as anyone just learning about the existence of magic and trolls. Then once she's had a bit to process and connect the dots to Barbara and Jim's situation she'd have a little lightbulb moment of "Oh that's why that looked that way". Then once she full recovers from her shock she'd step right back into her role of a caring CPS investigator.

Most of Claire's possession will happen the same as canon, but unfortunately Clairegana's going to give the gang the slip before they can try to exorcise her, resulting in her meeting up with Gunmar and causeing a few significant problems before the gang can pin her down

Claire swung aer staff at Jim, and he parried it away from his head.

"This isn't you!" Jim said.

"The Pale Lady showed me the Eternal Night," Claire said. Aer voice sounded like ae was in a trance, like ae wasn't fully there. And how could ae be? Claire would never agree to any of this.

"She's going to kill all of us!" Jim raised his shield and adjusted his footing, trying to gain the upper hand. He didn't want to hurt his datemate, but he had to find a way to disarm aer. Maybe that would break the Pale Lady's hold on aer? Blinky had warned Claire multiple times that the shadow Staff was imbued with dark magic, but surely it hadn't corrupted aer so fully that there was no way to save aer.

"Not everyone. My family will be safe. Maybe Toby, your mom, Blinky, and AAARRRGGHH!, too, if they surrender. I really wish you weren't the Trollhunter, Jim. Then you could see the glory of the new world. Instead, you're going to have to die to bring it about."

"You know they'd never agree to that." He dismissed his shield and tried to reach for aer staff. Ae fell backwards into a portal and reappeared above him, twisting in the air to try and impale him from above. Jim dove out of the way, rolling back to his feet.

Ae landed delicately and shrugged, a cruel smile on aer face. "More's the pity, then, that they won't see the Eternal Night either." Ae ran towards him, and when he tried to dodge out of the way a portal opened in front of him. Ae reached through a second portal and grabbed his amulet from his breastplate, his armor fading away. Ae thrust aer staff through another portal, and Jim felt something sharp pierce through his abdomen.

And Claire's eyes remained gold. Disarming aer wasn't the way to save aer. Jim tugged at the staff, groaning in pain. His mom had told him, once, that removing an impaling object usually made things worse, but he couldn't do anything when pinned down like this. This was no happy dagger, and he was no sheathe.

The staff didn't budge no matter how much Jim pulled.

The amulet wasn't supposed to return if it had been stolen, but Jim had called back the stolen amulet to himself for Claire's sake before. Doing that had removed all the goblins from him, so maybe this would remove the staff so he could retreat. He could find another way to save Claire after he had stitches. "For the Glory of -"

The daylight-blue stone of the amulet turned gold, the same gold as Claire's eyes. A ghostly hand reached through it, shattering the stone, and Claire laced aer fingers through it. "Pale Lady, it is done."

Darci can’t stop her, she doesn’t think she has the stomach too, not like this, when she brushes away the soot and ash from Mary’s burned fingertips the knot in her throat grows tighter.

The fury of fire is the only thing keeping Mary from exhausting completely, refusing to see reason. They’re going to kill each other; Morgana’s new champion gets closer to her goal every time they end up on the battlefield.

Darci grips her swords tighter, her armor feels heavy and lead lined, unable to bare the empty look in Claire’s eyes, on her face. She wouldn’t want this, she wouldn’t be fighting them, she wouldn’t side with Gunmar and Morgana.

But they don’t really have a choice anymore.

Who is your least favorite character in tales of arcadia trilogy, and why? And who is your favorite character? Also, will Morgana find a different way to possess Claire, given that so I'm dating a sorceress episode happens at night instead of the day?

My least favorite character in the entire TOA franchise is Colonel Kubritz. She's not the worst character I've ever seen, but she is one of the weakest. She had some good villainous moments and foreshadowing in 3Below part one, but whatever potential she had went down the drain in part two. Her motivations flip flopped depending on what the plot demanded, and her own character contradicted itself multiple times. Despises extra terrestrials but is perfectly willing to ally herself with one for no discernible reason. Played up as a devious backstabber but is taken completely off guard when Morando backstabs her.

Not only is her character badly written, but having an American character who's a xenophobic General Ripper being portrayed as a woman of color, knowing how women of color have been and are still being treated by the us government, feels gross.

I love almost all the protagonists but my all time favorite would have to be Jim Lake Jr himself. I've gushed about him before, but I just love how kind and caring he is. It's rare to see a male protagonist of a teen superhero show allowed to be caring and soft, as well as vulnerable. I could go on and on all day, but just know that Jim is my blorbo and I love him.

And without giving too much away, the way Morgana possesses Claire will stay the same, getting in through the ultimate portal. But getting Morgana out of Claire is going to be a little more complicated....

When I started shipping them:

It's been a while since I first watched s1 so I can't say for sure, but definitely during the first half of season 1. If I didn't ship them by the time "Claire and Present Danger" rolled around, then I definitely shipped them in that episode.

My thoughts:

OTP, but the idea wellspring has mostly dried up for them. I do have this one fic on the backburner based on a certain Hozier song and a fic I've been reading

What makes me happy about them:

I really liked the dark/light + Beauty and the Beast + Romeo and Juliet vibes they had

What makes me sad about them:

It's more mad than sad, but everything starting from the end of Wizards. She made him human again (not a fan) and then RotT happened. (I do like the idea of her hating him post-RotT because while Toby's death was terrible he sacrificed the pyrrhic victory for a redo that might not work)
