Chapter 5
The day of the benefit. Seonghwa was fixing the cuffs of his tuxedo in his apartment, glancing over at the box of what was the first Huntsman suit that was finished for him. A midnight blue velvet evening suit with a matching bowtie. He had the sense to go to a salon to get his hair fixed, his jet-black hair done in the comma style he usually did for events. He had yet to make time to learn how to do it by himself.
Hongjoong, Yeosang, and Yunho were watching a movie in his living room and he knew they were waiting for him to finish getting dressed. He stepped out of his room, grabbing his keys and his phone while stuffing his wallet into the breast pocket. “You guys know I won’t be there very long,” He said, looking at his three friends who seemed to be absorbed by the movie they were watching.
“You don’t know that, especially after that Macau trip you two went on,” Yeosang grinned.
Seonghwa smiled to himself upon remembering it. It wasn’t a long trip, but he enjoyed it even with some very minor setbacks now and then. The three of them ended up huffing as he had forgotten to get them souvenirs on the way back. “Juhyun said we’d only be there fifteen minutes, we’re skipping the cocktails,” He turned to them.
“Well, she’s with you, I’m sure she’d change her mind about how long you two would stay there,” Hongjoong pointed out, trying to ignore the constant beeping coming from his phone. “I’ve tried to tell the organizers I’ve yet to find a place to set up my spring and summer line and the show is a month away,” He sighed, turning his phone on silent.
“I wish I could help but we’re booked with poetry readings, art workshops, even a fashion history documentary that Song Mingi’s going to speak in,” Seonghwa checked his hair in front of the mirror.
“Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you,” Yunho looked over at the older male. “Mingi’s going to bring in exhibit pieces, he’s emailed you a list.”
“I saw it around the same time when I got a message from my brother asking who Juhyun is,” Seonghwa muttered.
The three of them paused the movie. “Have you shown him the society magazines?” Yeosang looked especially intrigued.
“I… haven’t shown him anything yet, unless you have?” Seonghwa eyed him.
“We didn’t. We thought you’d do it. Does Juhyun know your family’s getting curious?” Yeosang replied.
“She doesn’t know yet,” Seonghwa checked the time on his watch and the message he forgot to check on his phone. It was one from his mother, who realized who Juhyun was. He suddenly felt a mounting pressure, especially after the surprised reaction he got through text. They had already sent him a message before asking about her, but he hadn’t replied just yet, shifting the topic to other things.
“What are you going to do if that happens, though? She doesn’t know this isn’t real between you two,” Hongjoong asked curiously, his tone laced with concern for his best friend.
Seonghwa shrugged, figuring it was best to put it off a little bit longer. “I’m going now to pick her up. Keep this place clean, hmm? And try not to finish all the cola in my fridge,” He pointed out, eyeing Yeosang and Yunho, whom he knew were especially fond of the drink as he stepped out.
The pressure remained even as he drove to Juhyun’s place. How was he going to explain this to his family, who seemed to be especially interested in his love life after the breakup he experienced before. Maybe it was because he actually saw and met with Juhyun this time, rather than his ex. Were they concerned after knowing who she was? Especially after knowing the kind of family she was born into? Seonghwa wasn’t sure.
He had shaken off the thoughts as he arrived. All they were going to think about was to appear at the benefit, smile, make small talk, maybe talk about the gallery he owned, and then leave. Being able to one-up Jihan and Eunbi was part of their list of things to do, as well as impress everyone else. Seonghwa had already familiarized himself with the way up to her floor, receiving intrigued looks from other tenants. Arriving at the penthouse, he stepped out, checking his suit and hair in the mirror one more time.
“Juhyun? I’m here,” Seonghwa called out, walking further into the hall and towards the landing of the staircase.
“Coming!” He heard her reply from the room at the top of the staircase.
Juhyun took deep breaths as she looked at herself in the mirror, her floor-length powder blue Elie Saab gown shimmering in the lights from her walk-in wardrobe, the floral appliques embellished on her dress covering her up in all the right places. She did a few turns, checking to see if the chignon she painstakingly did on herself was secure thanks to several bobby pins and hairspray. She opened the blue velvet box on the table in front of her that had her planned accessories for the event: A set of turquoise earrings and a crystal-encrusted tiara. She was dressed and done, and she partly hoped it would match with Seonghwa’s tuxedo.
Grabbing her matching powder blue clutch, Juhyun stepped out of her room, immediately seeing Seonghwa waiting for her by the stairs. She was certain her heart skipped a beat at how good he looked dressed up for this kind of event. It also reminded her of why he was regarded as a college heartthrob.
Seonghwa couldn’t help but stare, enamored by the sight of her carefully climbing down the stairs. He immediately held his arm out for her to hold onto as she took the final step, being careful not to trip over her own gown or her shoes. “You look beautiful,” He said, a soft smile playing across his features.
“You look handsome,” She replied, the two of them making their way to the elevator.
~
They had arrived at the hotel where the event was going to be held. Seonghwa and Juhyun exchanged looks, nodding to each other as they got down from the car to photographers standing by to take pictures of them. They were welcomed by the ushers of the event as they stepped inside, the ballroom already close by. “If you’re feeling overwhelmed, just let me know and we’ll get out of here,” Seonghwa reminded her as they approached the entrance of the room.
Juhyun nodded, squeezing his arm as they introduced themselves to the registration staff, holding out the invitation. “Ms. Choi, Mr. Park, both of you are seated at table eight,” The staff told her, gesturing to go inside.
The entire event was draped with a lavender or lilac shade, the color that represented the cause. The chairs and tablecloths were also in the same shade that seemed to offset the bold jewel tones and dark colors that a lot of the guests were wearing. Seonghwa looked amazed at how opulent everything looked for a benefit event as they passed through several tables, mechanically bowing to greet the people who knew Juhyun while they walked by.
“Juhyun!” They heard someone squeal.
They turned around, Juhyun immediately feeling relieved as it was one of her best friends, Lee Hyunae of the textiles and shipping Lees. She was on the arm of a guy Seonghwa recognized as Woo Jiho, the famed music producer who was also the CEO of his own entertainment empire. The two of them had been an on and off couple, their relationship status often getting updated on the society pages of mainstream newspapers. Nevertheless, Hyunae was among the people Juhyun had in her very small circle of friends, and someone she knew never took much importance to money.
“I am relieved to see both of you,” Juhyun chuckled upon seeing them. “This is my boyfriend, Park Seonghwa. Seonghwa, this is Lee Hyunae and Woo Jiho,” She introduced them, the three of them exchanging bows to greet each other.
“At last, we’re finally meeting,” Hyunae looked excited to see him. “I mean, we unfortunately learned about it from Jihan, but hey, at least we’re meeting you!”
“Welcome to the club,” Jiho patted his shoulder. “So, I heard you own the Mars Art Gallery.”
Seonghwa nodded. “I do,” He said, unsure of what else to say after that. He didn’t want to come across as too talkative, yet he had a feeling Jiho sensed he was new to the scene and wanted to get him comfortable.
“I heard it gets quite busy nowadays.”
“Oh yeah, it does sometimes. We try to keep the museum interactive and fun to get more people to come and visit. We’re about to have a fashion history exhibit handled by Song Mingi, I’ve yet to finalize the details,” Seonghwa explained as coolly as possible. He made a mental note to tell Yeosang and Yunho about his approval.
“I don’t blame him one bit for having a fashion exhibit there, from the looks of both of you, you two would fit right in,” Hyunae grinned, looking especially impressed with Juhyun’s date.
Seonghwa smiled, glancing at Juhyun, who looked just as impressed. “Where are you two sitting?” Juhyun suddenly asked them.
“Table eleven, what about you?” Hyunae asked.
“Table eight.”
Hyunae and Jiho’s expressions fell, and Juhyun immediately sensed why. She turned to Seonghwa, who figured it out. They were going to share a table with Jihan and Eunbi. Seonghwa gave her a knowing nod, as if trying to remind her what they plan on doing. If Jihan and Eunbi were probably counting on them not to show up, they obviously thought wrong. “Well, good luck, slap the asshole if he tries anything, or at least let us know,” Hyunae raised a brow, making them nod.
Seonghwa and Juhyun walked on, stopping again when they were greeted by another one of Juhyun’s friends, Han Jo, who came from the Han family that owned a big food processing company that was usually based overseas. She came with her longtime boyfriend, Choi Jongho, the known pet groomer to the celebrities and had his own line of cat and dog treats. Juhyun introduced them right away and they exchanged the usual greetings.
Soon enough, he was introduced to another one of Juhyun’s friends, Park Sungyoung, who was the granddaughter of a famous jeweler, and her fiance, the airline heir Johnny Suh, who spent most of his time flying between Korea and the US. Sharing the table with them was soap box heiress and lawyer Ahn Jea and her husband, celebrity chef and restaurateur Jung Wooyoung, an especially loud and obnoxious guy that Seonghwa thought he would likely hate if he had to share a table with them. Then again, sharing a table with them seemed like a much better option than the tense and awkwardness from sitting with Jihan and Eunbi, whom they already saw cuddling in their seats.
Hyunae, Sungyoung, Jo, Jea, and their significant others had warned them about the same thing when it came to Jihan. Juhyun and Seonghwa pressed on, the latter already wondering how many more people she’s had to introduce Seonghwa to before they finally got around to taking their seats. Deciding to skip the rest of the introductions, they approached their table, feeling relieved when they saw that they also shared the table with Kibum and Elise, who greeted them, whereas Jihan and Eunbi stayed seated.
“Looks like she showed up after all,” Jihan smirked while Eunbi purposely kept herself close to him, looking at Juhyun and Seonghwa with the same contempt she had since seeing them at her boutique the other week.
“Wouldn’t want to miss an event my family holds dear,” Juhyun quipped. “You remember Seonghwa, of course,” She was mustering up all the willpower she had to say something crass.
“How could I forget. Tell me, Seonghwa, what did you see in her?” Jihan turned to him. “Whatever did you see in Juhyun that made you like her?”
The question caught Seonghwa off-guard, and Kibum and Elise tried to stifle their looks of disbelief at what Jihan said. Juhyun, however, tried to keep her cool as she nudged him to take their seats. “Uh, have some champagne, both of you, it seems like a long night,” Kibum suddenly offered, taking the flutes from the server to give to them, in his effort to tone down the tension.
“Excuse me?” Seonghwa asked, trying not to give away his annoyance at the question that sounded so condescending.
Jihan chuckled, him and Eunbi both sensing their irritated reactions. “What did you see in Juhyun? Money blinds people, you know. I doubt it’s because she’s the prettiest girl out here.”
“It just so happens that I love Seonghwa, and he loves me,” Juhyun suddenly replied, throwing dagger looks at him. “Isn’t that enough?”
Jihan only ignored her answer, and instead turned to his girlfriend, who kept puckering her lips at him until he kissed her a few times before pulling away to whisper in her ear. Eunbi was giggling in her seat, purposely giggling a little too loudly while sliding her hand up and down his thigh.
That seemed to give Seonghwa an idea. He made sure Jihan and Eunbi were looking, or at least glancing at them from time to time. He wrapped an arm around Juhyun’s waist and pulled her against him, her back against his chest. Kibum and Elise seemed to sense his idea, looking especially pleased as they sipped their drinks. “Look up,” He whispered in her ear.
Juhyun could feel her cheeks heat up, wondering what was on Seonghwa’s mind as she tried to make herself comfortable against him. She looked up a little, tilting her head so she could look at him better until-
Seonghwa kissed her, his soft lips moving against hers as it quickly got deeper, taking her by surprise at how intense it was before it . Juhyun caught on just as fast, her hands sliding down to his. Seonghwa moved his hands under hers, lacing their fingers together as he pulled away ever so slightly, leaving slight pecks on her lips before they completely pulled away, a small smile crept up on her lips.
Juhyun chuckled. “Whoops, you’ve got my lipstick on you,” She said, letting go of one hand to take the table napkin and wiping his lips with it, clearing his mouth of the faint pink lip tint she had on. Seonghwa looked just as amused, but relieved that she caught on.
He leaned in to whisper in her ear. “If that doesn’t wipe the smirk off their faces right now, I might have to punch him.”
She tilted her head to whisper in his ear this time. “Don’t worry, they’re already pretty stunned.”
Seonghwa noticed that Jihan and Eunbi’s expressions had fallen, unamused at their own comeuppance. Kibum and Elise gave approving nods before turning to each other with their own show of affection. He squeezed Juhyun’s hand, being careful not to mess up her hair as he allowed her to lean back against him.
~
Juhyun never thought she’d stay around a little longer, but knowing that Seonghwa was with her, she figured it would be okay to stay for a bit, and partly to revel in the one-upping they did on Jihan and Eunbi. Seonghwa felt victorious, but he was also surprised at himself for being as bold as he was. He was never one to be too affectionate in public, but in this case, with Jihan’s snide remarks, it was necessary.
An hour and a half had already passed, and Juhyun finally excused herself to leave, only for Kibum and Elise to persuade them to at least pose for some photos - perhaps the 12th time they had asked to take pictures. They figured it was because the thought of taking selcas didn’t cross their minds until this moment, when they were all equally dressed to the nines. “We should really be going by now,” Juhyun laughed after having taken what felt like the nth photo with Elise’s phone.
Seonghwa was feeling the same way, the two of them exchanging knowing looks as they began to say their goodbyes. It was only the first of several events that would take up the social season, aside from Jinri and Dongwoo’s wedding. They left the ballroom, Juhyun stopping to drop off the check she wrote as her donation to the cause. They walked out of the hotel in time for the valet to pull up Seonghwa’s car, the two of them getting in.
“That was a party, I haven’t been to an event like that in years, or at all,” Seonghwa sighed in relief as they were back on the road.
Juhyun chuckled, amused at his reaction. “The rest of the events are going to be like that anyways, another benefit for pulmonology, another benefit for childrens’ hospitals, a product launch, another product launch briefing, a publication’s anniversary party, Jiho’s company’s annual ball,” She recalled, trying to sound bored. “But don’t worry, we’ll probably get to like five or six of those events.”
Seonghwa smiled, evidently relieved. “If we had to go to all of that, I should tell you now not to buy me any more of those Huntsman suits. I can only wear that so often,” He teased as he drove.
“I’m upholding my end of the bargain, I say yes to that,” Juhyun nodded, grinning at the thought. “But at least we shut Jihan up for the night,” She laughed as they hit high fives with each other.
“Exactly!” Seonghwa agreed, pulling the brakes when they approached a red light. His expression softened upon remembering what prompted them to engage in an intense kiss. “...Juhyun, about Jihan earlier-”
She caught on. “I know, he’s a condescending asshole, isn’t he?”
“Well that, and, I know that you said that Jihan was the only one who paid attention to you and that’s how you two got together but,” He paused, trying to gauge how she reacted to what he was saying. “Has he always been like that to anyone? To you? … Have you been dealing with that kind of attitude from him this whole time?”
Juhyun sighed, unsure of how to explain herself, or at least what she thought about what he said. “It may be hard to believe, but he was very nice once upon a time,” She said quietly. “But I guess it was when he met Eunbi that he turned out that way, became the guy that humiliated me by saying out loud at a party before we graduated, that he’s been cheating on me, and he was so proud of that fact too. And you know what’s even more humiliating? The reunion two years later of our class, he drunkenly wanted to take me back, said that he got some sense talked into him by an alumni. I turned him down.”
Seonghwa’s expression fell. He could feel his heart sink, remembering the first time they met again, the things Jihan said to Juhyun. He remembered his own promise to her, a promise he wasn’t sure he should’ve made, a promise he likely made out of getting carried away in the moment. The promise that he wouldn’t treat her the way Jihan did, or would. “I’m sorry Jihan thinks so low of you,” He said.
Juhyun shook her head. “It’s okay. I’d say I’m used to it, but I’ve been pushing back on him as often as I can. Jihan’s hardly worth the words now too.”
“You shouldn’t be used to it, though.”
“People as privileged as I am do not really deserve sympathy, at least that’s what everyone thinks,” Juhyun pointed out. “Even if the opposite were true, no one feels too bad. They’d just think of this and move on,” She gestured to her gown.
Seonghwa frowned and shook his head at her summation. He refused to think that way, and he was seeing how Jihan affected her more and more. “You’re also a human being.”
It was then that Juhyun stared at him. “Thanks.”
He reached over to hold her hand, giving it an assuring squeeze. “You should keep that in mind. You’re just as much a human being as anyone here. You’d think Jihan learned anything except to be a jerk, huh?” He joked, making her nod.
“You are correct on that one,” Juhyun smiled. “He’s got all the money in the world, yet he seems to think being a decent person costs that much,” She looked out the window.
Seonghwa drove on when the light turned green, the two of them spending the rest of the drive in silence, yet their hands remained linked, fingers intertwined. “You want to get some coffee? Or tea?” He suggested, breaking the silence.
“Sure, I don’t mind getting some,” Juhyun said, as they pulled over in front of a coffee shop.
Seonghwa recognized the coffee shop. It was owned by one of his arts management classmates Son Miryo and her husband, Olympic taekwondo athlete Choi San. He remembered recommending some artists for her to display their paintings in the shop. The rustic interiors were sprinkled with colorful paintings, some abstract, some surrealist, and a few impressionist pieces.
As they entered the shop, they saw that the ceiling was made of glass, for customers to see the moon and the stars as they drank or talked or worked. With their clothes, they easily stood out amongst the customers and the baristas. “Seonghwa! Hi!” They saw Miryo wave at them from behind the display of pastries. They also noticed her husband appear from the back room, seemingly helping around the shop at this time, looking intrigued at the sight of them.
“Hi,” Seonghwa waved back as they approached the counter.
“Aren’t you dressed up? Choi Juhyun, isn’t it? Hi” Miryo grinned, waving at her as well. “So, what are you two having,” She asked, glancing at Juhyun, who was already staring at the menu.
“Just an iced peach tea,” Juhyun replied.
“Coming up! What about you, Hwa? What are you having?” Miryo turned to him.
“A marbled latte, make it iced,” Seonghwa replied.
“Where did you two go? Must be a formal event,” Miryo asked as Seonghwa handed her his card to pay for their drinks.
“A benefit for epilepsy. We actually left early,”He said.
“Really? Was it boring?” Miryo chuckled at his answer.
Seonghwa and Juhyun exchanged looks and nodded. “Very boring. I told him we could go after 15 minutes but we stayed a little longer,” She said.
Miryo laughed, giggling when she felt her husband tickle her sides. “San! San! Stop it,” She shushed him. “San, this is Seonghwa, an old classmate of mine, and his girlfriend, Choi Juhyun. Seonghwa, Juhyun, I believe you know my husband?” She introduced them and they greeted each other in return.
“This is a very nice cafe, the paintings are also a nice touch, the skylight makes it better too,” Juhyun said.
“See? I told you it was nice,” San nudged his wife, who wrinkled her nose.
~
A few minutes and a few jokes later, they were back on the road, taking satisfied sips of their drinks. It was a good way to end what seemed like a tense and awkward night. Even as they didn’t do much, the tension from having to sit with Jihan and Eunbi seemed to suck out the energy they had. Seonghwa pulled up in front of the driveway of Juhyun’s building. “Thanks for tonight, for,” She paused, a shy smile appearing on her lips. “For doing what you did to one-up Jihan and all.”
Seonghwa chuckled. “Oh, you mean the kiss? No problem, I enjoyed wiping the smirks off their faces,” He winked.
“We’ve got another event in two weeks. Launch party for a new product Jo’s family’s business is putting out. Black tie, again,” Juhyun frowned, only to chuckle at his reaction.
“Right, I think we’ll have to step up our game now after what we did earlier,” Seonghwa grinned, seeing Juhyun unfasten her seatbelt.
Juhyun laughed. “I think we’ll have to think about that every time we go to an event this season,” She said.
Seonghwa suddenly unfastened his own seatbelt and got down the car, helping her get out. “Let me walk you back to your place,” He suggested.
“You sure? You don’t have an early day tomorrow?” Juhyun asked, only for him to answer her question when he handed his keys to the valet.
“Just let me walk you back up to your place,” He insisted, linking her arm with his as they entered the building and into the elevator that led to her penthouse. “You’ve already forgotten lesson one of being in the moment,” Seonghwa teased.
She laughed. “I know, I know, I’m sorry, it’s a hard lesson to learn!”
“That’s fair, and I don’t think I’ll stop reminding you about that.”
“Fine, a message everyday then,” Juhyun teased.
“You got it,” He pointed out, looking pleased with himself.
They reached her floor, the doors opening up to the hall of her apartment and the two of them stepped out. “If you’ve got any events that you have to go to, let me know? If you need a date, that is,” Juhyun said, and it reminded him of what they agreed on.
“Of course. Actually,” Seonghwa paused, remembering the exhibit Yeosang and Yunho were telling him about. “There’s a fashion history exhibit at the museum in a few weeks. Song Mingi’s going to be speaking and showing a documentary too, if you’d like to come?”
Juhyun smiled. “I’d love to. Is it black tie?”
Seonghwa shook his head. “Just casual.”
“Alright then,” She said, letting go of his arm.
He caught her gaze. “Yeah.”
“You should probably go home and rest or something,” She muttered.
“I should,” He nodded. “I will,” Seonghwa took a step back. “Good night, Juhyun.”
“Goodnight, Hwa,” And she watched him go back inside the elevator.

꒰ ꒱ this is an idol life ship for my sweetest and softest bb @sarahbkwl !! hope you like it hehe !! <33
----------------------------
꒰ ꒱ your entertainment company
꒰ ꒱ your training years
you trained for a year before debuting.
you auditioned for the company through yg global auditions and got accepted because they saw immense potential in you and your talents.
you were pretty shy as a trainee but goddamn, with just one year of training and consistent hard-work, you glowed the hell up as a performer and artist. [kind of the same scenario as bae jinyoung (my bb <33) of cix and wanna one]
before debuting, you appeared in some of winner and ikon’s music videos, which is where fans began noticing you.
꒰ ꒱ number of members in your group
there are five members in your group; two koreans, one korean-american, one japanese, and you.
two koreans :: one is the oldest, sub vocalist, sub rapper, and the visual while the other is the main rapper and face of the group
one korean-american :: main vocalist and the leader
one japanese :: lead dancer, lead rapper, and maknae
꒰ ꒱ your positions
you’re the main dancer, lead vocalist, center, and face of the group
꒰ ꒱ your roles
you’re the fake maknae of the group; you may look and dress in a way that is a bit intimidating, and your charisma be through the roof on stage; but off the stage, you basically radiate babie energy and your group members as well as your fans feel protective over you because of your sensitive and clumsy nature.
also the photographer; you’re known for your photography skills and you have over ten million followers on your instagram where you often post very artistic and aesthetic pictures of yourself, sceneries/places, your group members, and anything else that inspires you really.
꒰ ꒱ your group’s concept
a mix of badass and girl crush with a hint of sexiness. very similar to ddd by exid.
꒰ ꒱ your idol best-friends
felix from stray kids || as foreign idols, it’s no doubt you guys hit it off immediately as soon as you guys met and got closer at MAMA. you may be shy at first but with him, it was like an immediate sort of connection.
you’re definitely hype bestfriends !! constantly complimenting, supporting, and basically just hyping each other up.
vedi affectionate best-friend. sends you memes at 2 a.m.
oh and you both mc -ed for pops in seoul together and your close friendship is evident on camera; it’s just a very wholesome energy. needless to say, your friendship is one of favorites in the kpop industry.
seulgi from red velvet || you two would be the sweetest angels adskj
you guys did a dance cover as a collaboration stage and have been inseparable since then. you’re often on each other’s instagram and openly shows support for each other’s comebacks and professional projects.
she’s the type of best friend you can talk about anything and you would just laugh about everything. expect lots and lots rofl and majority of the time, you wont even know what you’re laughing about.
lots of cute dates at cozy and underrated cafes or restaurants in town, which are perfect places for your photography and perfect for her to try new food, especially desserts.
also she’s really good at art, especially drawing !! you’re both just so artistically talented and similar yet different in the best way - no wonder fate brought you two together as best-friends.
꒰ ꒱ your fanboy(s)
the members of verivery are huge fans of your group and have done a number of covers of your group’s songs.
kangmin especially is a huge fan of you.
꒰ ꒱ your boyfriend (public)
chittaphon leechaiyapornkul (can you tell i copy pasted that) aka ten.
i mean we ain’t surprised at this point. it’s an established fact that you + ten = purfect.
okay, so i see you guys being only professionally involved at first like your group and a few members of nct were doing this collaboration stage for an award show and it’s a sort of like group couple dance stage and you and ten were paired together. think of the who’s your mama dance stage at 2016 sbs gayo daejeon. similar to that aaaa
but through the whole process of rehearsing and practicing together, you guys ended up becoming closer because i think your personalities would just click just like that. i think ten is someone who can just connect with anyone but with you, it would just be a different and special sort of connection.
honestly, i think your relationship would be a mix of slow-burn and fast-paced. it would take him a while to ask you out or to confess verbally but his actions would show otherwise like he would do all those cute things like text you good morning or good night and face-time you regularly. he would buy you gifts. he would smile and laugh a lot more around you.
i don’t know why i also see him following you on his finsta accounts (that you already know about) and would probably comment cheesy pick-up lines on your posts.
when he does decide to confess, he’ll be so straightforward about it but not in a way that’s overbearing - just very sincere y’know.
you guys would probably keep your relationship private at first although he wouldn’t be the biggest fan of that but that really wouldn’t last that long.
the dispatch catches you on a date and pictures of you two are released and both of your companies would confirm the relationship.
and it’s a praised relationship and fans are supportive - of course there are inevitably and unfairly some negative response but overall, there’s an immense amount of positive reactions from fans that the negative ones are overlooked.
you guys would be the epitome of a romantic couple and so artistic too augh !!
oh and guess what, ten’s new best-friends are felix and seulgi now. eeep
꒰ ꒱ miscellaneous
your group gets your first win just a week after debuting, making you guys one of the fastest to win at a music show
even as an idol, you pursue art and photography as more than just a hobby. you make your debut as an artist two years after your debut and some of your pieces are displayed at art galleries.
your group is extremely popular and active in the US and you have collaborated with some western artists like Lauv, Little Mix, and Anne Marie.
----------------------------
thank you for requesting angel <33 have a beautiful day/night !!
