Fig's left his estate to the MC and since Feldcroft isn't home anymore, the three of them go there for two months.

They feel broken, but with two months of freedom, they plan to rebuild. To find themselves again, and to find each other. Because they agreed that whatever they do, they do it together. But they're jagged edges and nightmares and tears and feeling like Ominis and each other should hate them and none of them hate each other(loves me like I'm brand new). And one day the three of them are out in the garden and it just feels like rebirth.

And they're together. Stronger together. Because they went underground for summer and focused on what mattered: Themselves. (Nobody's heard from me for months/I'm doing better than I ever was). And after that afternoon in the garden, they spend every moment together. Reestablishing their bond, making new ones. No one but Deek hears from them that summer. The muggle villagers see them, though. They wonder about the three teens, seemingly living together unrelated(As my MC was female, it would be very scandalizing), going into town for food, but never talking to anyone other than when completely necessary(My baby's fit like a daydream walking with his head down/I'm the one he's walking to). And they don't care about muggles but they don't care what they're saying when this summer is just for them.

And when they go back to school, they feel more content than they've ever been. They're now a package deal. And they've never been happier.
