डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय को राष्ट्रीय मूल��यांकन एवं प्रत्यायन परिषद (नैक) ने पांच साल के लिए ए प्लस ग्रेड प्रदान किया है। नैक की ओर से शनिवार को ईमेल के माध्यम से विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन को यह सूचना दी गई। विश्वविद्यालय ने सात प्रमुख मापदंडों के आधार पर 4 में से 3.33 संचयी ग्रेड बिंदु औसत (सीजीपीए) हासिल किया है, जिससे यह विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) से अधिक अनुदान के योग्य हो गया है। इससे पहले 2017 में विश्वविद्यालय को बी डबल प्लस ग्रेड दिया गया था। शनिवार को दोपहर करीब एक बजे यह खबर मिलते ही विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में खुशी की लहर दौड़ गई। कुलपति प्रो. आशु रानी ने खंदारी परिसर में ढोल-नगाड़े बजवाकर इस सफलता का जश्न मनाया। शिक्षकों और कर्मचारियों ने एक-दूसरे का मुंह मीठा कर खुशी का इजहार किया। प्रो. आशु रानी ने बताया कि नैक की सात सदस्यीय टीम ने 24 से 26 अक्टूबर तक विश्वविद्यालय का निरीक्षण किया था। टीम ने न केवल शोध कार्यों का आकलन किया बल्कि शैक्षणिक गुणवत्ता, विवि के रखरखाव और सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों को भी जांचा। इन सात मानकों पर हुआ मूल्यांकन नैक ने जिन सात बिंदुओं के आधार पर मूल्यांकन किया उनमें शामिल हैं: - पाठ्यक्रम ��हलू - शिक्षण अध्ययन और मूल्यांकन - अनुसंधान परामर्श - संसाधन - छात्र समर्थ और प्रगति - शासन और नेतृत्व - नवीनता और श्रेष्ठ प्रणाली ए प्लस ग्रेड मिलने का लाभ छात्र कल्याण अधिकारी प्रो. मोहम्मद अरशद ने बताया कि ए प्लस ग्रेड मिलने से विश्वविद्यालय का एकेडमिक स्तर बेहतर हुआ है। इसके चलते विश्वविद्यालय अब केंद्रीय और राज्य सरकार से अधिक अनुदान प्राप्त कर सकेगा। इससे शिक्षकों के पास नए प्रोजेक्ट्स आएंगे और विद्यार्थियों के लिए रोजगार के अवसर भी बढ़ेंगे। इसके अलावा, राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालयों के साथ शैक्षिक आदान-प्रदान के समझौतों में भी सहूलियत मिलेगी, जिससे शोध कार्यों का स्तर उन्नत होगा। टीम में शामिल थे ये सदस्य नैक टीम का नेतृत्व इस्लामिक इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी के पूर्व कुलपति प्रो. मुश्ताक अहमद सिद्दीकी ने किया। अन्य सदस्य थे जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया के प्रो. रवींद्र कुमार, महाराजा सयाजीराव यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ बड़ौदा के प्रो. ईश्वरचंद्र पंडित, वीर सुरेंद्र साई यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी के डॉ. देवदत्त मिश्र, श्री शंकराचार्य यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ संस्कृत के प्रो. वीजी गोपालकृष्णन, राष्ट्रसंत तुकड़ोजी महाराज नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय के प्रो. नरेश गायकवाड और डॉ. एमजीआर शैक्षिक एवं अनुसंधान संस्थान के प्रो. वेल्लनकन्नी सिरिल राज। 20 साल में बी से ए प्लस तक का सफर डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय का पहला नैक मूल्यांकन 2004 में हुआ था, जिसमें इसे बी प्लस ग्रेड मिला था। 2017 में इसे बी डबल प्लस ग्रेड मिला और अब 2024 में ए प्लस ग्रेड मिलने से विश्वविद्यालय शीर्ष संस्थानों की सूची में शामिल हो गया है। प्रो. आशु रानी ने इस उपलब्धि का श्रेय शिक्षकों, कर्मचारियों और छात्रों के सहयोग को दिया और कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय का लक्ष्य अब ए डबल प्लस ग्रेड प्राप्त करना है। टॉप-10 विश्वविद्यालयों में शामिल आईक्यूएसी निदेशक प्रो. संजीव कुमार के अनुसार, यूपी के 28 राज्य विश्वविद्यालयों में से अब केवल 5 के पास ए डबल प्लस और 5 के पास ए प्लस ग्रेड है। इस ग्रेड के साथ ही डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय प्रदेश के टॉप-10 विश्वविद्यालयों में अपनी जगह बना चुका है। विश्वविद्यालय का गौरवशाली इतिहास डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय की स्थापना 1 जुलाई 1927 को हुई थी और इसका मूल अधिकार क्षेत्र आगरा, मध्य भारत और राजपूताना में था। अब यह विश्वविद्यालय आगरा मंडल के चार जिलों तक सीमित है और 649 कॉलेज इसके अंतर्गत आते हैं। पूर्व राष्ट्रपति शंकर दयाल शर्मा, रामनाथ कोविंद और पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री चौधरी चरण सिंह जैसे प्रतिष्ठित व्यक्तित्व भी इसके छात्र रह चुके हैं। राज्य��ाल का ए डबल प्लस का लक्ष्य राज्यपाल आनंदी बेन पटेल ने विश्वविद्यालय क�� ए डबल प्लस ग्रेड प्राप्त करने का लक्ष्य दिया था और हाल ही में हुए दीक्षांत समारोह में इसकी ओर ध्यान देने का निर्देश भी दिया था। सिविल सोसाइटी ने उठाये सवाल विश्वविद्यालय के ए प्लस ग्रेड मिलने पर सिविल सोसाइटी के सचिव अनिल शर्मा ने छात्रों से जुड़े कई अहम सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने कहा, “क्या ए प्लस ग्रेड मिलने से सत्र समय पर चलेंगे? मार्कशीट और डिग्री छात्रों को समय पर मिलेंगी? क्या शिक्षा का स्तर उस ऊंचाई तक पहुंचेगा, जिसके लिए यह विश्वविद्यालय प्रसिद्ध था? बिना स्थायी शिक्षकों के क्या शिक्षा का स्तर सुधर पाएगा?" अनिल शर्मा ने कहा कि आज प्रकाशित एक बयान में स्पष्ट किया गया है कि विश्वविद्यालय को अधिक अनुदान प्राप्त होगा, लेकिन यह किसके लिए होगा? उन्होंने कहा, "कम छात्र संख्या वाले पाठ्यक्रमों को बंद करने की योजना है। ओएमआर शीट पर परीक्षा कराने का विरोध ऑटा (ऑल यूनिवर्सिटी टीचर्स एसोसिएशन) कर रही है। छात्रों के हितों के लिए हमारे कई प्रश्न और चिंताएं हैं।" शर्मा ने विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन से आग्रह किया कि वह न केवल वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त करने पर ध्यान दें, बल्कि शिक्षकों की नियुक्ति, शैक्षणिक सत्र को समय पर रखने, और छात्रों के प्रमाणपत्र एवं डिग्रियों को सही समय पर वितरित करने जैसे बुनियादी मुद्दों को भी प्राथमिकता दें।   Read the full article

NGO Darpan is an online portal maintained by the NITI Aayog. It is a portal where all the NGOs/VOs have to register themselves if they want to apply for grants under various schemes of Government departments and Ministries. 

NGO Darpan is a portal handled and maintained by NITI Aayog and National Informatics Center. It serves as an interface between the government departments and the NGOs/VOs. This portal was earlier maintained by the Planning Commission, which was replaced with NITI Aayog in January 2015. The Unique ID generated by registering on the portal is needed when NGOs/VOs wish to have government fundings, and all information related to schemes and policies of the Government.

It enables NGO to take multiple grants from the Government.

It creates transparency and credibility of the NGO among the public and the Government and hence creating more donation opportunities from the public.

From Local to Global: 42 Strategies Unveiled by Mexico's Foreign Secretary

  At the FASSST Summit on entrepreneurship held at the Foreign Ministry on Friday, May 12, Foreign Secretary Marcelo Ebrard presented a plan consisting of 42 actions to transform Mexico's startups. At the event, business executives, entrepreneurs, investment funds and government officials discussed and promoted innovative solutions to Mexico's social and economic challenges.   Foreign Secretary Marcelo Ebrard, said: “There are 42 proposals, some are immediate, others are going to take us a little more time, and some are going to take a lot more time. What is our time horizon? A decade, we don't have more than that.” “So I think that, one: yes we can achieve this; two: yes we want to achieve this; and three: yes, we know what we have to do."   This comes from you, these 42 actions are the work of a year, added the Foreign Secretary in his remarks. “How can we not do this? The startups, the companies, the institutions, are all here. Our country is immense. I believe that it is destined for greatness; we just need to do what we are doing today,” He further stated. Modeling the event on forums such as the G20, the attendees discussed the role of startups and innovative companies in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The roundtables addressed topics such as ending poverty, sustainable cities, health and wellbeing, quality education, gender equality, economic growth, and peace and security. In addition, Secretary Ebrard led the discussion on how new technologies will contribute to an economic development model that benefits the most vulnerable, and he presented the 42 actions to transform the startup sector. The list aims to start a discussion of strategies that will trigger the growth of the ecosystem and to compile proposals for regulatory improvement.   To conclude, the Foreign Secretary said, "The probability that people from such different sectors will come together is normally very low. Normally, we stay in our comfort zone. This type of forum allows us to meet with those who have other ideas, experiences and disruptive proposals."   Lastly, awards were given to the winners of the Pitch Contest for the Internationalization of Mexican Startups and the FASSST University Essay Contest, organized by the Foreign Ministry. Only through the joint work of startups, companies, academia, civil society and the government will we be able to build a fairer, more equal Mexico with more opportunities. The Startups Accelerator, Tech Sector and Government Forum (FASSST) seeks to promote diversity and trigger the growth of Mexico's entrepreneurial ecosystem. if you don't vote, someone still gets to be president

idk, i see a lot of people talking about the election and criticizing the democratic candidates, which is great, please do that, but please also acknowledge the stakes and the context here. If you're saying talking about something horrible the dems have done/are doing, and saying not to vote for them because of it, then at least let it be a criticism that does not also apply tenfold to the republicans. Because SOMEONE IS GOING TO BE PRESIDENT. It's one or the other. Realistically, it is Trump, or it is Harris. Convincing people not to vote for Harris is advocating for Trump to win. Period. End of. That is what you are doing.

Since I am going over project 2025 - which was written by some very good friends of Trump, and which the man himself has tried to distance himself from without actually addressing any of the contents of the document itself, which align quite well with how he talks about his values and intentions - here are some quotes i have selected to contextualize the stakes of this election (under the cut for length and tw for transphobia, misogyny, )

If you are trans, here is what they think of us, "Look at America under the ruling and cultural elite today: Inflation is ravaging family budgets, drug overdose deaths continue to escalate, and children suffer the toxic normalization of transgenderism with drag queens and pornography invading their school libraries" (from the foreward by Kevin D Roberts, PhD, on page 1. Kevin is the president of The Heritage Foundation, which describes itself under the 'membership' tab of their 'about' page on their website as the "most influential conservative group in america")

and here are a few of the policies they would like to inact in regards to us, "Reverse policies that allow transgender individuals to serve in the military. Gender dysphoria is incompatible with the demands of military service, and the use of public monies for transgender surgeries or to facilitate abortion for servicemembers should be ended." (Page 104),

"Reissue a stronger transgender national coverage determination. CMS should repromulgate its 2016 decision that CMS could not issue a National Coverage Determination (NCD) regarding “gender reassignment surgery” for Medicare beneficiaries. In doing so, CMS should acknowledge the growing body of evidence that such interventions are dangerous and acknowledge that there is insufficient scientific evidence to support such coverage in state plans." (Page 474)

"Restrict the application of Bostock. The new Administration should restrict Bostock’s application of sex discrimination protections to sexualorientation and transgender status in the context of hiring and firing" (Bostock in this context is a legal case regarding workers protections against discrimination in the workplace, this is page 584 saying that they would like it to be legal to fire people for being trans)

Or how about this from pages 4-5, "The next conservative President must make the institutions of American civilsociety hard targets for woke culture warriors. This starts with deleting the terms sexual orientation and gender identity (“SOGI”), diversity, equity, and inclusion(“DEI”), gender, gender equality, gender equity, gender awareness, gender-sensi-tive, abortion, reproductive health, reproductive rights, and any other term used to deprive Americans of their First Amendment rights out of every federal rule, agency regulation, contract, grant, regulation, and piece of legislation that exists." Still the foreward there, same author. Literally calling to restrict speech in the name of 'freedom of speech'. Some irony there. The next paragraph starts by describing 'transgender ideology' (the existence of trans people) as 'pornography'.

Page 5, literally the next paragraph. "Pornography, manifested today in the omnipresent propagation of transgender ideology and sexualization of children, for instance, is not a political Gordian knot inextricably binding up disparate claims about free speech, property rights, sexual liberation, and child welfare. It has no claim to First Amendment protection. Its purveyors are child predators and misogynistic exploiters of women. Their product is as addictive as any illicit drug and as psychologically destructive as any crime. Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that facilitate its spread should be shuttered."

How are we feeling? But what about foreign policy? What about Palestine?

Page 94 reads, "Sustain support for Israel even as America empowers Gulf partners to take responsibility for their own coastal, air, and missile defenses both individually and working collectively"

That does not sound like pulling support from Israel to me.

Oh, also on page 94 is this, "Implement nuclear modernization and expansion. The United States manifestly needs to modernize, adapt, and expand its nuclear arsenal. Russia maintains and is actively brandishing a very large nuclear arsenal, but China is also undertaking a historic nuclear breakout."

Because what we definitely 100% need is more military spending on nuclear weapons. I also cannot help reading that in connection to Palestine, Israel, and our country's allyship with Israel.

I'm getting stressed. I have linked the full document below. Please look up these quotes yourself, check my work, read the context for yourself. Decide for yourself if you feel I have been unfair. Decide for yourself which of the two sets of options is going to do the least damage. Because remember, it's not just the one person you're voting for. The president gets to appoint the people who run the rest of the government. The people Trump likes very much wrote this document.

Please do not play games with weather or not I can be fired from my job for being trans. Please do not play games with my access to healthcare.

It is horrific that we do not have a choice that will end US support for the genocide going on right now. But that choice isn't on the table. Our choices are genocidal fascist or a lot less genocidal fascist.

America will not comply with the law and put Donald Trump and his Republican Party to death in response to its human trafficking, election frauds, and terrorism, including the most egregious which took place on October 7, 2023.

President Biden and now VP Kamala Harris apparently want to be parties to the charges a US based terror organization, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints almost certainly excavated beneath sacred soil in Israel and killed thousands of Jews. Since neither has acted appropriately to thousands of leads that the LDS were up to something nor have they put a stop to additional threats with great and utter efficacy, it makes sense to extradite them to the ICC along with Anthony Blinken, Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Paul Ryan, Mike Johnson and other heads of state who knew the LDS were planning an attack and did not inform police or the proper authorities.

Such non-performance of the law must be made an example of, to put it on the map.

Once again, the evidence is clear:

Persons affiliated with both the US Gov and the LDS tunneled underneath the sovereign soil of Israel and other nations nearby and then perpetrated a horrific terrorist attack on October 7, 2023.

The pattern of the tunnels is consistent with a mythical pilgrimage called the Lehi Nephi Trail which is believed to be authentic by the Mormons. They colluded with Donald Trump and the Republican Party during his 2016-2020 term to excavate the tunnel version of the Trail and then exploited their hidden advantage on October 7.
