PIT PEAOPLE ORIGINAL CHARACETDRS AAAAAAAAAA A a BEWARE
Tumblr media
in light of the recent news im gonna go over some characters ive had BREWING in the back of my mind because i have been sentenced to UNSTOPPABLE SPUR OF MOTIVATION.......
Mara:
An ex-emperor's guard that later managed to become one of the pit's main suppliers.
She is a farmer and hunter, and much of her crops and game are used to feed pit fighters.
She has an extremely rocky relationship with her toxic (ex?) husband, Filbert.
She is Hailey's mother and Horatio's primary caretaker for most of his childhood.
Mara is friends with Henrich and respects him but it takes her a very long time to respect Horatio.
Filbert:
Once a travelling physician.
Now a zombie.
If you ask him how he died, he'd probably tell you something along the lines of that he "died from boredom of his marriage to Mara."
Mara has to re-kill him every time he visits so at the very least he doesn't infect Hailey. (And so she doesn't have to hear his nonsense.)
Henrich:
Horatio's father.
When he was newly divorced, Henrich moved to Citytown to pursue work to support himself and Horatio.
In the summer, Henrich takes up work building houses in the countryside because it makes good money. This would usually leave Horatio alone, however, so he leaves the guy at his pal Mara's farm for a bit.
Mara is initially not all-too excited to be a babysitter--she's got enough on her plate, but Horatio kinda pays off Henrich's debt to her by being an extra set of hands on the farm.
Perfectionist due to his line of work and impossible to please.
His parenting style and Horatio's butt heads a LOT.
ok thank yiy

MY MAN 🤠🤝🐯 literally the Shame... like even if people don't outright Say that "you're a burden for this" there's still the shame. the feeling of it. the thought beneath the surface. and i Know it's a cultural thing. i'm So certain that if i lived elsewhere not in mid-sized citytown, USA: a. people would not shame me and make me feel this way over needing help, b. i would have options besides "grovel and pay me for a ride" or "spend hours trying to bus several miles" like it's such a nothingburger with cheese type of choice. do i want something that sucks or something that sucks. and feel bad about it on top of that. i hate cars.

About 7 years ago I went to some academic presentation with like 25 people in a university basement by a highly accomplished visiting professor who had immediately had his laptop stolen upon coming to the fucked up lil citytown I live in and today when I was googling to see whether he had taken the title of his presentation from any famous quotes or literary works (it doesn't appear so) I found that he's written a book about a topic dear to my heart lmfao

i think cofronting with friends is near indistinguishable* from hanging out with friends outside of the system save for the one small fact that nobody else can tell what the fuck you're laughing at
i was at work like last week cofronting with my best friend Jonny and we had like a solid line of customers, so it was like a one after another type situation. and there was this girl with a sweater that just had the plaintext name of the citytown where we primarily live (like half an hour ish away from the theater we work at) and i said to her "oh i like your sweater! i live there :)" and shes like thank you i love it there as she's leaving and it turns out the customer directly behind her (who definitely heard the entire conversation) had the exact same sweater but instead with the name of a major major city like 3 hours away and Jonny (not aloud. obviously,) says to me "right, now say that to this guy too" and i was smile giggling like a freak through the entire interaction
* i don't actually, i just wanted a natural manner to introduce my story. about my friend

Italia esta rodeada de varias pequeñas ciudades. Y una curiosidad muy linda. Cada una tiene su propia Iglesia. Las campanas suenan cada hora. Tambien casi todas tienen una pequeña tienda, panaderia, faramacia o gelateria!. Casi todas!
