#jack facts#like do they think we don't notice#i truly do hate it here#i really do think that we should get to a ''you ruined it for everyone'' threshhold with ads at this point tbh#circulating ads should be a need based allowance#below a certain nw you can circulate as many ads as you want provided they follow guidelines#then above a certain nw you get a quota. you can have x number of ads circulating at a time.#and i don't mean distinct different ads that can be put wherever. no. if you have an ad on youtube that counts as one#and if you put the SAME AD on a different platform or tv channel or at the fucking gas station pumps or on a billboard or ANYWHERE#each different instance of the ad counts as another ad in your quota!#& if you have like a 1min skippable + a 30sec unskippable v of the same ad on the same platform. that counts as two. FUCK you.#and then above another nw line. you cannot have ads at all. bye you don't need them they serve no purpose they are just annoyances.#also paying influencers to hawk your shit counts as ads! fuck you!! paid word of mouth is not actual wom that is also an ad! fuck you!!!#oh u want ppl to rec ur product & u don't have any ad spots left?? well sugar you better have a fucking good product then lol :) fuck you#also if a co breaks an ad reg that co and any co it owns/parents can never make another fucking ad ever again in its existence#AND if a ceo breaks an ad reg w one co then disbands it and makes a new co and breaks ad reg w that one#then the CEO or any co they have ANY % ownership or investment in can never make an ad ever again. FUCK you.#charities/nonprofits and sole proprietorships get one (1) appeal to a total ad ban#that's IT!! ENOUGH!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!!!! FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#AND ONE MORE THING. ''pay us not to see ads on our platform/app/other thing'' should also be illegal.#''pay us for basic ass functions'' illegal. pay to win. illegal. sale/product announcements in things that are not press. illegal.#creating an ad or listing for something that doesn't exist and only manufacturing it after it is purchased. illegal.#ads that are full screen when a user has not already selected full screen on a video player. illegal.#pop up ads. illegal.#ads with audio on a platform that doesn't. illegal. video ads on a platform that doesn't have video. illegal.#ads w epilepsy triggers. illegal everywhere forever always w out needing to be reported by consumers. cannot be circulated in the 1st place#ads w graphic violence or soundscapes that mimic it. see epilepsy triggers.#ads for things that are not actually consumer products. illegal.#anything else u want to circulate like an ad must go thru other regs to qualify as psa or edu. if it doesn't qualify tough shit get fucked.#[insert gif collage of people talking extensively while wildly gesturing for emphasis here]

I was looking on your blog and I saw an ad that said "air conditioning repair costs less than you think" or some shit.
do you require air conditioning
>Alas my adblocking does not extend to everyone else. Sad. Anyways yes, I do have a substantial ventilation system, though Magolor is used to warm temperatures so I don’t need to spend much energy on cooling things down unless I know others are visiting. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I accidentally melted Chilly, after all.

Understanding the Circulator Pump for Boilers: Function, Importance, and Selection
A circulator pump is a crucial component in many hydronic heating systems, particularly those using boilers to provide heat. Its primary role is to ensure that hot water or steam circulates through the system, distributing heat to various areas of the home or building. Without a functioning circulator pump, the efficiency of the entire heating system would be compromised. In this guide, we'll discuss the function, importance, and considerations when selecting a circulator pump for your boiler system.
What is a Circulator Pump?
A circulator pump is a mechanical device designed to move water or other heat transfer fluids through a heating system. In the context of a boiler system, the circulator pump is responsible for pushing heated water from the boiler to radiators, baseboard heaters, or other heat exchangers, and then returning the cooled water back to the boiler for reheating.
How Does a Circulator Pump Work?
The circulator pump is typically installed between the boiler and the heating units (radiators, underfloor heating, etc.). It works by creating a flow of water, which is critical for maintaining a steady supply of hot water throughout the system. Here's a simple breakdown of the process:
Hot Water Supply: The boiler heats water, and the circulator pump pushes the heated water out of the boiler and into the piping system.
Heat Transfer: The hot water passes through the radiators or other heat exchangers in the building, releasing heat into the surrounding space.
Return Flow: After losing heat, the water returns to the boiler through a return pipe, where the circulator pump again sends it back for reheating.
The continuous cycle of circulating hot water ensures that every part of the heating system stays warm and that the temperature remains consistent throughout the building.
Why is a Circulator Pump Important?
Efficiency: The circulator pump helps the boiler work efficiently by ensuring that heated water is continuously circulated through the system. This prevents overheating of certain areas and ensures that heat is evenly distributed across the system.
Heat Distribution: Without a pump, water would remain stagnant in the pipes, and the heat wouldn't be properly distributed throughout the building. The circulator pump enables the water to flow efficiently, providing consistent and effective heat.
Prevents Boiler Overheating: In a closed-loop system, water is constantly recycled through the boiler and heating units. Without a functioning circulator pump, the water can overheat in the boiler, potentially causing pressure buildup and damage to the system.
Types of Circulator Pumps for Boilers
Single-Speed Circulator Pumps: These pumps operate at a single speed, providing consistent circulation of water. They are simple and reliable but may be less energy-efficient compared to variable-speed pumps.
Variable-Speed Circulator Pumps: These pumps adjust their speed based on the system's needs. They are more energy-efficient because they only use as much energy as necessary to circulate the water. Variable-speed pumps are often found in modern, high-efficiency heating systems.
Wet Rotor Pumps: In these pumps, the rotor is submerged in the circulating fluid. They are quieter and more efficient than dry rotor pumps, which are often found in older systems.
Dry Rotor Pumps: These pumps have a rotor that is not submerged in the circulating fluid, which makes them less efficient and louder. However, they are still used in some older heating systems due to their lower upfront cost.
Key Factors to Consider When Choosing a Circulator Pump
Flow Rate: The flow rate, measured in gallons per minute (GPM), refers to how much water the pump can move through the system. It’s important to choose a pump that matches the flow requirements of your system to ensure efficient heating.
Head Pressure: Head pressure is the amount of pressure the pump must overcome to circulate water through the entire system, including all radiators or heat exchangers. Higher head pressure means the pump has to work harder, and selecting the right pump with adequate pressure capacity is crucial.
Size and Compatibility: The circulator pump must be sized properly to match the boiler and the system’s piping layout. A pump that is too small won't circulate water effectively, while a pump that is too large can waste energy and cause unnecessary wear on the system.
Energy Efficiency: Energy-efficient circulator pumps help reduce electricity consumption, which can lead to significant cost savings over time. Look for pumps with Energy Star certification or those that feature variable-speed motors for optimized efficiency.
Noise Levels: While circulator pumps are generally quiet, some models are designed to operate even more quietly. If noise is a concern, particularly in areas where the pump is located close to living spaces, consider a pump with noise-reducing features.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Circulator pumps are relatively low-maintenance, but regular checks can help prolong their lifespan. Some maintenance tips include:
Inspecting the Pump for Leaks: Check around the pump and piping for any signs of leakage. Even a small leak can lead to reduced system efficiency.
Cleaning the Pump: If you notice a decrease in circulation, the pump may be clogged with debris. Regular cleaning can help maintain optimal performance.
Lubricating the Motor: Some older circulator pumps require periodic lubrication to ensure smooth operation. However, newer models often come with self-lubricating motors.
Common issues that might require attention include:
No Flow or Reduced Flow: This could be caused by a malfunctioning pump, a clogged filter, or air trapped in the system.
Strange Noises: A noisy pump could indicate worn bearings or an imbalance in the rotor.
Conclusion
A circulator pump is an essential part of any boiler system, ensuring that hot water circulates efficiently throughout the heating system, distributing heat evenly and preventing overheating. When selecting a circulator pump, it’s important to consider factors like flow rate, head pressure, and energy efficiency to ensure that the pump is well-suited to your system’s needs. Regular maintenance and proper installation can help keep your circulator pump running smoothly, extending the life of your boiler system and improving the overall efficiency of your heating setup.
