Btw guys, we were supposed to be staying here sa Circle Hostel pero that time puno sila so nag recommend nalang sila ng iba na malapit lang sa Circle Hostel. Anyway, pwede naman kami pumunta sa circle for free for picture taking. Instagrammable kasi yung place nila at kahit hindi ka doon nag stastay sobrang bait pa rin ng nag mamanage. Just wow, kaya keri lang kung hindi na rin kami nag stay doon. :) Circle Hostel, sila yung sikat kung pupunta kang San Felipe, Zambales. 😊

May 14-15, 2016: Liw-Liwa Beach, Zambales

Spontaneity is the best kind of adventure.

Best moments happen when they are unplanned.

This has all started during our mini reunion at Yohanne’s party last May 13, 2016. Stayed there until 2:30 AM. So while we’re drinking, my friend suddenly asked us to go out of town the next day, and immediately we said yes. We thought twas just an “usapang lasing”, as they call it, but guess what? It pushed through!

We had our meet-up at Total Gasoline Station at Balintawak the next day, 7:00 PM. Left at around 8:00 PM since one of our friend had his dinner first. It only took us 4 hours to arrive at Zambales including our stopover at Subic.

We had our dinner at Subic Adventure. The restaurant closes at 10:30 or 11:00 PM. Since we arrived like around 10:30 PM, we only had our dinner for 30 minutes. The food is kind of pricey and if I were to rate its taste, I should say its 7/10. Anyway, good thing their staff are accommodating as well as the owner.

We arrived at Liwliwa Beach, Zambales by 12:30 MN. Since Circle Hostel is fully booked, they recommended us to someone who has a room for rent that is within the area as well. The room is 450/head. Not bad since we have stayed from almost 12:30 AM ‘til 7:00 PM the next day. The room has its own bathroom and can accommodate up to 6 pax. Its just a minute away walk from the beach.

For our first night, or should I say midnight, we just had 1 bott of RH for each of us and relaxed at our room while talking about some serious stuffs. Adulthood strikes. Lol. Continuation of what we’re talking about while we’re on our way. Good thing Circle Hostel is selling liquor drinks since the only store near to where we were staying is already closed. Stayed up until 3:00 AM.

We woke up at around 8:00 AM. Had our breakfast at the only nearest store which is at Fely’s Store and Canteen. Banana Chocolate Shake forevs! Lol. Food is good and is not pricey. We took a rest for a while after we had our breakfast then went to the beach already for a swim. Stayed by the beach and took a swim for 2 hours (I think?) then went back to our place for lunch time. The sand is fine and the seawater is clean. Perfect for a summer kind of weather. Of course, we then again had our lunch at Fely’s. Most of their food are Silogs (w/ drinks or upgrade to shake).

Since original plan was to stay at Circle Hostel but its fully booked, we just decided to have a day trip stay at their place. Just wanted to know the “hammock feels”. Lol. We spent our siesta time at their place. Loved the ambiance. Seeing those inspirational quotes makes us feel more relaxed. Very unique. They also have locker rooms for the valuable things and common restrooms.

By 4:00 PM, we’ve decided to go back by the beach and spent the rest of the afternoon until the sun sets. Good drink, good sounds, good friends, good weather, what a way to end the week! By almost or exactly 6:00 PM, the sun have already set.

We left Zambales at around 8:00 PM. Had our dinner/stopover at Jollibee, Subic. Arrived at Manila by 2:00 AM.

I love and like being one of the boys. Not only that I got used to it since I was in college, but Im more comfortable when Im with them. No issues, no dramas. These guys never made me feel Im out of place. They’re like my brothers already. Not by blood, but by heart.
