Taekwoon hated going shopping for new clothes. It was a luxury of time that he refused to waste. He hated going to department stores because he felt constantly being judged of his outfits and the way that he dressed all the time with his trench coats and leather jackets that made him look like some sort of eccentric weirdo. he supposed that he needed to get with the times and join everyone else in the modern era but he just really liked his trench coats and comfy clothes. However, shopping trips could not be put off for too long. He had began noticing that his jacket was starting to fray at the sleeves and the loose threads would get into the work and then  he’d accidentally contaminate the evidence. So, he supposed that it was time. 

He couldn’t avoid shopping for too long and on  a rare day off that he had in the recent weeks, he made his way to the department store, eager to find a similar jacket of sorts that he could wear to work and outside of work without it seeming too out of sorts for him. walking in, he felt overwhelmed and tried to see if he could find a sales associate to help him find a nice jacket that was very his style. Currently, he was dressed like a detective out of a victorian novel in casual slacks, a button down of bright clashy colors and his beloved black jacket. Seeing an associate, he approached her nervously. 

“Excuse me, miss... but could I trouble you for some help? I’m looking for a jacket similar to this one, and well, i don’t really know where to start?” he asked. He knew that his weak spot was fashion.

it’s a sunny afternoon and seonghwa’s got the day off work, which means it’s the perfect time to take thumper to the park for little run through the daisies. he’s packed up thumper’s little carry case with some treats and a jumper in case it gets chilly, and readied him in his harness and leash. it’s always a tiny bit stressful taking thumper to the park - there’s always the risk of him escaping, or a large dog thinking he’s a tasty snack, or someone trying to steal him. but seonghwa knows he likes it, and it’s good for him to get outside sometimes, so he puts aside his own worries for the betterment of his floppy pal. 

heading out he keeps checking on thumper during the short walk, peeking through the little net window of his carrier at him, all snuggled up with his blanket looking perfectly content. seonghwa sometimes feels like a nervous mother when he’s out with thumper, scared of anything happening to him, while thumper enjoys himself, oblivious to seonghwa’s worries. he supposes it’s good practise for the future when he might have actual children to look after. 

he’s biting back his nervous desire to keep thumper held safely in his arms when he opens the door of his carrier and takes ahold of his leash, letting thumper hop out onto the grass. he can’t help but smile as he watches him, breaking into a grin when he starts dashing about in circles, jumping off the ground and twisting in mid-air, doing his ‘i’m super-duper happy’ dance. he lets the leash have a lot of slack so that thumper has the freedom to binky to his hearts delight, watching him with a bright smile. 

this is the best part of walking thumper - seeing just how happy it makes him.

jihoon, despite the high calorie, high sodium, high sugar meals his restaurant serves, eats pretty healthy. he isn’t really a person for an abundance of sweets, but loves serving them to other people! the crow’s nest makes a pretty awesome saeng cream cake that’s popular for people that choose to have birthday parties with them (jihoon always thinks that’s hilarious, so birthday meals are some of his favorites.) 

when jihoon does have sweets, his sweet of choice is probably ice cream. when it comes to cartons of ice cream he buys, it’s neapolitan; he eats chocolate and strawberry, and only vanilla when it’s with one of the others. otherwise, he saves it for his dad. when he goes to  rum & gum he gets chocolate chip cookie dough most commonly, but sometimes a strawberry cheesecake flavor too.

💭airplane

Taekwoon enjoys airplanes.During the holidays, he takes a week off and flies to Seoul, typically economy class. He prefers the window seat in his journeys home. When he arrives at home, it's usually a quick drive to his family house and then he spends his holidays there. Occasionally he will help out his dad at the same time, but most often these trips are made for enjoyment, since it's rare that he gets to go home. Before he started in the police academy, he took a few months to travel the world with his mother's permission. His favorite airports were in Germany (he travelled Germany for two weeks, landing in Munich and flying out of Berlin.) Taekwoon always flies economy and almost rarely takes an actual suitcase with him since he hates the hassle of checking luggage. Often he calls it a pain  and would rather prefer to travel with a carry on. He's also flown all over Europe over the course of the few months and finally ended up in Asia for a while.

In terms of toy planes, he's never really seen the appeal in general and finds them incredibly dumb.He's never had a toy plane in his life, maybe that was why he doesn't really like planes in the toy form. Model planes though, with their details and the little things, he really likes those. He has built a couple and if anyone comes to his house, they can find a whole case filled with his model planes. He spent quite a bit of money on his collection and has no shame in the whole thing over his models.

So, he's very divided on planes. Toy planes he doesn't like. Model planes he enjoys and actual airplanes, are a whole another thing to him. All in all, he likes planes.
