Margarita Xirgu in the film Alma Torturada (ES 1916). Xirgu is mostly known as a theatre actress and key interpreter and champion of Federico García Lorca's plays, but she acted in films too. Alma Torturada is one of her three surviving silent films; I've written an extensive article about the film here.

Carmen Tórtola Valencia, known as Tórtola Valencia, in Pasionaria | Passionflower (ES 1915) - film discussed here. Tórtola Valencia was one of the most famous dancers in Europe in her heyday, famed for her exotic, avant-garde dancing. She was a woman ahead of her time: she was feminist, vegetarian, strongly independent, and lived with her female life partner for many years.
