i like it as a better "cinderpelt's unreciprocated crush" alternative than cinderfire because i'm firmly of the opinion that cinderfire is better purely platonic and lesbian cinderpelt is peak, but ultimately it runs into the same problem i have as cinderfire where cinderpelt in tpb is written (for the first part at least) as a younger child compared to the rest of firestar's friend group, so even though they're not technically that far apart in age it is really weird to me if the feelings are mutual at all. like sure she's not cinderpelt's first teacher, but she IS older than him so same thing, yknow?

ok heres my chance to say i fucking HAAAATE CINDERSAND!!!!! I HATE IT!!!!! ITS WEIRD!!!!! from a one sided crush standpoint from cinders pov thats perfectly fine kids get crushes on people older than them all the time. but sandstorm is the same age as cinderpelt's original teacher. she's her teacher's wife. them actually getting together is fucking weird. while we're at it i hate cinder x silverstream too. i dont want her to be shipped with anyone in firestars age group. unfortunately she's in a pretty weird situation where most of who's in her age group are her littermates/related to her in some way. i truly think the best we've got for getting cinder a gf is daisy and my dear rio likes them so i do too. im wearing a big tshirt rn that says i hate cindersand on it. i completely forgot spottedleaf was in here too oops. um i dont want to ship her with sandstorm either for similar reasons i dont like fire x spotted so sand x spotted is similarly unappealing

Why make Sandstorm and Fireheart/star break up so that your ship can be a thing when Sand and Fire can be in a healthy, open poly relationship with cats of your choosing? Like SandSilver? Great! I legit hate how this fandom makes double standards for FxF ships. Like. If firetiger for example was FxF the fandom WOULD be eating it up like candy - but then you got, whats it called? Darkhawk? HawkDark? Who have the same age gap as firetiger but people still ship them and it’s like???!! Huh???!

like. Cinderpelt x Sandstorm for example, Sandstorm is much older then fireheart, and if sandstorm was a man, people would be rioting at the cindersand ship b/c of the age gap, but b/c it’s “uwuwuwwjwjjwjwjwjwjwuwusjsjasj bagaagahyahasj kesbana lesbaesn can do nothing wrong ever” it’s ignored.

Ship what you enjoy. And I recommend turning anon off if you want to create that content but you feel like you can't. That goes for anyone tbh. If you like a ship or a plot and feel like you'll get backlash - turn off anon and do what you're comfortable with. Just always make sure to tag it fully!
