I decided to make a list of every fic I read each month.

I would like to interact more, but life has been complicated recently and when it comes to interacting, I get very anxious which is something I'm trying to overcome.

I've got A LOT to recommend.

Red eye (thriller drama, Cillian Murphy is playing the villian 😉 plot is amazing, it can give you literal goosebumps 😭)

The 5th wave (Absolutely underrated, the most inappropriate scenes only involve kissing & cuddling)

Totally killer (100% plot, time traveling, meeting your mom, fighting against a killer and all that. Tw: gore)

Baby (my favorite Italian series on Netflix, hottest actors, teenage drama and high school problems, tw LOTS of 18+ content)

The maze runner (I think you know this one, you HAVE TO see it. My fav fandom after Harry Potter. Book series are much more detailed and better tho)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians (not the modern one, watch the old movie series, I LOVE it, books are also the best)

Game of thrones (ABSOLUTE masterpiece, books are also chef's kiss)

Pride and prejudice (if you want some old times romance with passion and all that, it's perfect for you)

The hot chick (my favorite 'mean girls' type of movie!)

The kingdom of the planet of the apes (just watched it in the movie theater, IT'S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, you can watch it illegally on myflixer.com, also the other movies above)

Anne with an e (absolutely amazing series, it's a romance and comedy, also a drama. MUST SEE IT!)

A misdirection one night guides you to the 3 men who will change the course of your life. | This series has a little bit of everything from drama to love and spiciness. There isn't much more you could ask for out of this series other than wishing for more.

@psychedelic-ink - SIL, is such an amazing writer, writing most recently for Pedro Pascal's characters and sharing her amazing works with us here. Her masterlist includes more than just Pedro's characters, having written for the MCU and Oscar Isaac, to name a couple. I love the emotions you feel through every piece of writing she puts out, and I have yet to find a piece I don't like. I think you'll find you like or perhaps love her writing just as much as I do.

@shelbydelrey - Isa is a Peaky Blinder writer whose work I enjoy reading and love seeing the moodboards she puts out as well. I would definitely give Isa a follow because she brings positivity to your dashboard with her reviews and welcoming spirit.

I've been reading and watching some reviews of Oppenheimer and am shocked at the way some people don't seem to be able to connect to characters who are a little bit closed off and inwardly complicated.

This is a film you need to bring your own empathy to. It isn't actively provoked and drawn out of you.

Which, given that it deals with the construction of the Atomic Bomb, I think is something that should be self explanatory. If you go into making this thinking "Oh I will make people feel so bad about the bombs" you're already headed in the wrong direction. It's not the question whether or not it's bad. The question is whether or not you realize it's bad when no one tells you outright how to think about it.

This movie is incredible for doing this.

Alright so here’s my annual manic shit post here. I just finished Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune and let me just say I have never been more in love and distraught all at the same time. I never anticipated having a mental cast immediately appear in my head so bare with me here.

Cillian Murphy said in an interview that he never gets the scripts sent to him for a romantic comedy, but this man was built. BUILT. For drama.

Give him the best of both worlds and imagine him as Wallace Price.

Such a cute movie!!! Watched it like 3 times and it’s still fun! If u r a fan of romantic movies but like without the clingy things that movie is for YOU. It’s very interesting, funny and super chill. Watched it with my family and they loved it

I'm so glad that 2023 ended... I hope this year is so much better for everyone.

I didn't expect last month's list to be well received. I just wanted to show my admiration and gratitude to all those incredible writers. So there was no need to thank me for being included in the list, since recommending your stories is the least I can do as a reader.

Your writing is wonderful. Some of the things I've read this month have left me speechless, I didn't expect to find in a fic the quality of something that should be published instead.

On this episode of Digging For Gold On Tubi

“Come back to me.”

I’ve talked about this movie maybe a thousand times but it really just sits in my heart unequivocally.

The way it dives the relationships and dynamics of old and new. It’s easy to hold onto the past, growing is what’s hard. I get pulled right into the relationship between Vera and Caitlin and their friendship which is nothing short of tragic. This movie explores the disasters that human desire can leave behind and the consequences of falling ill to it. Would you give up everything for something that was?

The acting is superb. You know I love Cillian Murphy not just because he’s so beautiful but also because his acting is amazing and although his part is the smallest he breaks my heart in this one (I will love Captain William Killick forever). But also Keira Knightly is one of my favorites as well and Pride and Prejudice 2005 is also one of the bests pieces of cinema out there. Sienna Miller and Matthew Rhys are absolutely stellar as well. Another shout out to John Maybury for exquisite directing.
