It was quiet, eerily quiet. The dim lights of the Ministry's hallsways flickered ominously, casting elongated shadows along the cold stone walls. The creaks of worn wood, the scuttle of rats almost felt too loud. Their ritual had ended hours ago, the echoes long dissipating into a silence that felt restless and Dewdrop found himself lingering on a balcony, the fading embers of a cigarette dying between his fingertips as he exhaled a stream of smoke. It curled into the chill night air, a refreshing sensation against his warm skin. It was rare to find a moment of solitude amongst the harmonic buzz of the Ministry, and yet, something felt wrong. The air felt charged somehow, humming with an unnatural energy that prickled at Dew's senses. He turned abruptly, scanning the emptiness behind him and whilst the shadows danced, they were empty. The fire ghoul chuckled to himself, leaning back against the wooden rails behind him, "Paranoid, are we?" he mumbled to himself. And then the sound came, making his ears twitch at the noise: Footsteps, followed by a sharp screeching noise. Slow, deliberate in their weight, the heavy treat echoing off the walls of the hall. Dewdrop straightened, squinting at the dimness, his brow furrowing as a figure emerged from the dark. At first, Dew felt a wave of relief, though it quickly gave way to dread. It was Swiss, but the way he moved looked wrong. His movements were stiff, almost mechanical as he approached and the usual lopsided grin that graced his lips was absent. The multi's dark eyes glinted in the low light, though void of their familiar warmth. Dew's eyes dropped to the object being dragged unceremoniously behind him. A sword. One ornate, tarnished and clearly pulled from one of the many suits of armour that lined the halls of the ministry. It glinted in the moonlight that filtered through from the balcony and Dewdrop swallowed roughly, "Swiss?" Dew called out, his voice a tentative rumble, "What are you doing?" Swiss didn't respond as he moved closer, the grip on the blade in his hand tightening and Dew's stomach dropped as he caught the absence in Swiss' face. Emotionless, like a marionette pulled by unseen strings,

"Swiss, come on, you're scaring me. This isn't funny." Still no response. Swiss raised the sword. Dew barely ducked in time. The blade sliced through the air where his head had been moments before, crashing into the stone wall beside him with a deafening clang. Dew stumbled as he ran beneath Swiss' arm, his heart hammering in his chest. "Swiss! Stop!" Dew's voice wavered as he called out, unsure. But Swiss was already lunging. The blade whistled through the air, narrowly missing Dew’s shoulder as he ducked and stumbled backward. Panic surged through him. Swiss was fast—faster than he’d ever seen him move—and unrelenting. The strikes came one after another and the sharp clang of the sword against the stone walls rang in Dew’s ears as he narrowly avoided each blow. "Swiss, snap out of it! Whatever has you isn't you!" But Swiss was already coming at him again, the sword arcing in a deadly swing. This time, it grazed Dew’s face, slicing through a lock of his hair. The severed strands fell to the ground as Dew pressed a hand to his cheek, feeling the warm trickle of blood. "Shit!" Dew darted down the corridor, his boots skidding against the stone as he tried to put distance between them. He knew that he could use his element if needed, but it was volatile, unpracticed. Swiss followed, his movements unnaturally quick. He swung the sword again, the blade whistling through the air, slicing through the shoulder of Dew's jacket, just deep enough to draw blood and Dew stumbled, finding himself cornered. There was nowhere left to run. Swiss loomed over him, the tip of the sword catching the dim light as it hovered inches from Dew’s throat. “Swiss,” Dew said, his voice trembling. He raised his hands slowly, palms out in surrender, “I know you’re in there. I don’t know what’s got hold of you, but this isn’t you. You’re stronger than this. Fight it.” For a moment, Swiss hesitated. The blade trembled in his hands, and a flicker of something—recognition?—crossed his face. But it was fleeting. His head jerked violently, as though yanked by invisible strings, and a guttural snarl tore from his throat. Swiss lunged, the blade slicing through the air and Dewdrop closed his eyes. He couldn't move. Instead, Swiss froze, his entire body trembling. His grip on the sword faltered and he dropped to his knees, clutching his head as though trying to rip something out of his own mind. The sword clattered to the ground beside him. Dewdrop didn’t waste a second. The moment the blade hit the stone floor, he scrambled to his feet, his body screaming in protest. His cheek throbbed, blood dripping steadily, and his shoulder burned where the blade had grazed him earlier. He pushed through the pain, his focus on Swiss, who was still on his knees, shuddering violently. “Swiss!” Dew shouted, his voice raw. “Whatever’s got you, fight it!" For a moment, Dewdrop thought he might be breaking free. But then Swiss’s movements stilled, his breathing heavy and erratic as his head slowly lifted. His eyes snapped open. They weren’t Swiss’s eyes anymore. The void stared back at Dew, dark and endless, as Swiss rose to his feet with an unnatural fluidity. His hands twitched at his sides, and Dew’s stomach dropped as the sword jerked off the ground on its own, flying back into Swiss’s outstretched hand. “Shit,” Dew muttered, backing away as Swiss advanced. “Why do you run, little flame?” The voice that came from Swiss’s lips wasn’t his own. It was deep, distorted, like a chorus of voices layered atop one another. Dewdrop paused, taking a deep breath as he lifted his hand. His hand ignited with a flick of his fingers, a flame sparking to life in his palm, "Give him back." his voice came firm despite the panic that was overtaking him, the flame burned brighter, flickering reflections in his eyes, "I won't ask again."

Help Two Disabled Trans Women Get Back On Their Feet

My federal income tax withheld wasn't properly updated by my employer on account of their bookkeeping which means I owe $1000 to the IRS by the end of July. I also had to go through intensive surgery at the end of February to fix a hernia which had caught my left testicle up in it, with a good portion of the left side of my abdomen being covered with a hernia mesh. Despite having been supposed to be healed up after 8 weeks, I have surpassed my employers 180 day limit for a leave of absence of which I wasn't informed of. Being terminated from my job leaves me with no health insurance and no way to continue paying for my doctor's appointments and treatments, all this as I am still paying $270 a month for my car and am possibly at risk of losing because I don't have a reliable way to pay for anything. On top of this, my girlfriend (@stcecilia) has recently moved in after being kicked out by a transphobic landlord and is dealing with worsening undiagnosed pain and sickness which has left her unable to work. Unfortunately she was relying on me getting better which isn't happening right now, and she's having to take care of me instead because of the condition I was left in with severe nerve pain the past few months leaving me stuck in a chair. We are both living with my parents and I can't even begin to put into words how much this is affecting both my girlfriend and I's mental health and physical well being along with everything else, with the way the house is always dirty, my step-mother constantly starting arguments with anyone who comes near her and constantly vitriolic and everyone else arguing and fighting with each other because of this.

It's hard to set a precise goal without it being subject to change for what we need as of right now but at least $1800 would help to pay my federal taxes and keep my car for the next two months and keep us on our feet for the time being.

Any amount helps towards paying off what we owe and moving closer to getting out of this house and into a better living situation and making sure we're properly cared for.

Well imagine if you were in his shoes. You are transported to some kind of unknown world. And absolutely no one arounds you speaks the same language as you.

Sneep has no way of knowing this is a digital plane. He has no idea if the people around him are real or not, he cant remember his name and no one can explain to him why that is. His body looks different, he feels different, no one around him looks to be a human.. just imagine how scary that is. Not having the comfort of things being explained to you in this situation. Not having the comfort of someone telling you "everything will be okay".

XD No worries! And yeah I started playing Warframe for the first time these past few days. Its been fun so far, Mag being my favorite. (She's the only frame I have <XDD)

I have my eyes out for Titania Prime, Trinity Prime, Mag prime and Mirage Prime. I'm thinking Titania might be my new favorite if I can snag one!

The thing that upsets Gummigoo isn't just that his mom isn't real necessarily, its that his memories of her aren't real too. He remembers all these experiences with this person but the memories aren't real...

And the whole reason why Caine let the brothers stay was because he hoped it would help Pomni adjust to the circus. Just like Bella did for Gangle. Bringing up NPCs or things from the Gators adventure could upset or confuse them so Caine wouldn't want to risk it. <:(

Oh I get a lot stolen from those other fandoms too. Octonauts has just been the most frustrating. Constant tracings, theft, copycats, disrespect, its was nuts.
