Not really sure how to go about this, its actually very petty, id rather write about something far more interesting than gossip, but it plays such a big factor amongst friends, relationships, and respect towards individuals. I think about when i was younger, and all the horrible things people would make up just because we didn't necessarily get along, and even more so by people that i never met, for what reason, i dont know, i just hope i never stoop down to that level. ever. The stories they would make up, the rumors, the false labels, that me and everyone in my circle knew were false, but to everyone else that didn't know me personally, i suppose they didnt know better. Then i add up all the negative comments i hear about other girls, some i met, some i didn't, then eventually did, and me being the genuine person that i am, i wouldn't shut them out, but id be lying if i said it didnt stick in the back of my mind. I wonder how much of the gossip i heard is true. Ive seen gossip ruin relationships, perfectly good relationships, friendships, sometimes even lives. As much as people say they dont give into that hype, how many of those people actually practice that? Imagine how many amazing people you missed out on, because you listened to the next persons judgement, or fabricated story. How genuine can the person talking so negatively about the next person be in the first place? Sorry if im making your head spin with the questions, but look how much gossip can affect a society, the media, and the world around you. So i invite you, to speak with words of love, next time someone you know is bringing someone else down, bring them up, break the chain, rise above it or become it.
