lizselwyn‌:
Who: Liz + @mllyweasly Where: Rosa Lea Teabag, Diagon Alley.  When: February 26th, mid-afternoon.
Liz had never really thought in her life that she might have to keep track of the moon phases since leaving Astronomy behind her.
Now the moon dictated her life, it dictated her mood, it dictated her pain and her pleasure. The new moon was tonight, and Liz felt a horrid ache in her stomach - almost as if she had suffered a great loss. Her skin was surely pale and the dark circles under her eyes were more prominent than ever. This would be her third moon cycle, and everything was still horrifyingly new. Liz didn’t need the magical locket that now rested at her collarbone to tell her the moon phases when her body was now so receptive.
It was perhaps even more painful knowing she was going through this alone. Despite her correspondence with Fenrir, Elizabeth knew of no other werewolves. There was nobody to ask the questions that needed to be asked. Nobody to tell her whether this would ever get any easier, or if the pain would ease with time. Nobody to assure her that she would even survive this. After all, Fenrir Greyback hardly seemed to be the most….comforting of men. But Liz did know the most comforting woman in England, and a quick owl to the Burrow asking if Molly could leave the kids with Arthur and come for afternoon tea was returned with a swift yes. What Liz needed right now was a friendly face, and Molly Weasley would surely provide.
Liz had gotten there a little early and put ten galleons towards their tab preemptively. After all, she’d requested company, it was only fair that she covered the cost of their meeting. She was stood before the huge glass cabinet displaying the array of cakes that Rosa Lea’s had to offer, eyeing up a chocolate cake appreciatively when Molly stepped through the door. “Oh Molly….you don’t know how good it is to see you,” Liz sighed in relief, turning around to give Molly a warm hug.
“It’s all on me. Whatever you want…I’ve been staring down that chocolate cake for at least ten minutes.”
Tumblr media
Though you wouldn’t know it to look at her, Molly had grown up in the company of ‘elite’ pureblooded society. The Prewett name was, after all, classified among the so-called Sacred Twenty-Eight. Though her parents had never truly bought into the notion of blood supremacy, they knew better than to have themselves labelled as blood traitors, and they played along with the pureblood society they were expected to be part of. So, this society was one Molly was intimately familiar with, still retaining connections with many of its members from childhood, despite leaving behind their beliefs long ago.
Blood supremacy, in Molly’s opinion, was a complete sham. She’d been labelled a blood traitor by most of the pureblood families simply by marrying a man who disagreed with their ideas and found muggles fascinating. She didn’t understand the perceived superiority of pureblooded wizards versus muggles and their children, though she wasn’t naive enough to think that centuries of prejudice would be easily wiped out. All she could control was how she treated others, and how her children did. For Molly, that was enough. She would leave the bigger picture to her brothers.
Elizabeth Selwyn was one of her childhood friends she could still stand. She’d always liked the younger witch, her quiet kindness and decency, something that was remarkably difficult to come by in the society they grew up in. She hadn’t spoken to Liz in some time, and had all but jumped at the opportunity to do so when she’d received the woman’s owl. That, and the opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours. Her baby was due any day now, and she knew from experience that she wouldn’t get any time for herself for quite some time after they were born, so she would relish in it while she could.
A warm hug greets her as soon as Molly steps through the door, and she lets out a laugh as she wraps her arms around Liz. “Oh, I’ve missed you, Liz.” She says, stepping back with a wide grin. “Mm,” Molly hums happily, “Chocolate cake sounds perfect. They’d better not be stingy with the slices, either.”

seirioscanis‌:
Molly Weasley didn’t so much as wait before she was walking into his room (waddling might be more appropriate) and picking up his clipboard, concern decorating her face. Sirius winced from something other than the pain for once, letting his eyes fall closed as if he could block out the feeling of worrying Molly. He was reckless, sure, and usually he didn’t let that affect him, but Molly was one of the people Sirius actually did mind upsetting.
He had a feeling he wasn’t getting out of this one easily.
“Just a fight,” he said vaguely, waving in the air with his casted hand before switching over to his good hand. No need to wave his injuries around–he already knew he was in bad shape. He also wasn’t entirely sure what he could tell Molly. Gideon and Fabian were her brothers, but she wasn’t part of the Order. Would she know stuff anyway? Would her brothers want her to know what the hell was going on? “I was, uh, on a… errand… and it went very south, as you can see. I’m fine, though, absolutely fine, so there’s no need to fuss. James has done enough of that already.”
Sirius opened his eyes again and frowned. “Hey, you should sit. Why stand when you can recline?”
Tumblr media
Molly raises a brow sceptically, looking up from the clipboard and actually taking in the sight of the boy in the hospital bed -- he looked a little as though he had been through a paper shredder ( a muggle invention that Arthur had talked excitedly about one evening ) and patched up again haphazardly. Though she was sure the healers had done the very best they could -- they had quite a lot to work on, after all -- Molly liked to think she would have done better. She wouldn’t say this aloud, though.
“An errand?” She repeats, letting out a deep sigh. She knows that he’s lying, she would need to be a complete moron to believe that this had been a simple errand gone wrong. This was clearly Order business, and though she understood why Sirius was reluctant to share more, she didn’t like it. She had become accustomed to her brothers keeping secrets from her about their work with the Order, was able to see right through their lies, but had learned when to press them for information and when to drop it. Oftentimes, she let matters with the Order go, not really wanting too much information, not wanting to get sucked into a war she had no intention of fighting in. “You’d better figure out a more believable lie before people with more authority than me start asking questions. Wanna try that again?”
She narrows her eyes, an insistence that she didn’t need to sit and was perfectly fine standing sitting on her tongue before she thinks better of it, eyeing the chair in the corner of the room and noting how sore her feet were getting. She’d been on them all day, after all. She crosses the threshold between herself and the seat, slowly lowering herself into it and taking a moment to adjust herself so she was at least reasonably comfortable. “I’m not doing this because you told me to, by the way. It’s for the baby.”

arthur--weasley‌:
who: @mllyweasly where: the burrow when: february 29th, 1980. evening
Sticking both hands deep into the warm soapy water, Arthur finds himself simultaneously fishing about for the missing washcloth and trying not to get his own shirt anymore soaked than it currently was. He’d known it was a mistake to bathe Fred and George together from almost the instant he had plopped both squirming, naked toddlers into the tub, but he wasn’t sure he had wanted to risk trying to separate them. From the moment his identical sons had been born, they had remained at one another’s sides. If one woke up to feed, the other was mere minutes behind. When George had said his first word, Fred said his a day later. When Fred took his first steps, it was George who toddled soon after him.
As if knowing exactly what their father was thinking, both boys almost immediately began to kick their legs, splashing the warm water over the edge of the tub and all over Arthur’s trousers. How they managed to do such a thing with water that barely covered their round, baby bellies, Arthur didn’t know, but he was beyond questioning the capabilities of his children at this point.
Giving into the inevitable soaking, Arthur wrestles the cloth from George’s sly grip and immediately attacks the little boy’s face, determined to remove every trace of gravy that had managed to glue itself to his skin. “Oi, stay still, Georgie,” Arthur says, voice soft as Fred blows bubbles beside his brother, “How’d you manage to get it in your eyebrows, hey?”
Behind him, he hears a familiar set of footsteps and without turning around, Arthur smiles, “How many books is Percy attempting to smuggle into his bed tonight?”
Tumblr media
Bedtime, Molly had begun to realise, was something one only came to enjoy as they got older. For Molly, there was scarcely anything better than climbing into bed at the end of the day, curling up next to her husband, and going to sleep. For her boys, bedtime was as good as the end of the world, each one panicking at the thought of the day drawing to a close, attempting to get as much done in the half hour between their parents telling them to brush their teeth and tucking them into bed, apparently oblivious to the fact that the sun would rise tomorrow and they would have more than ample time to finish their game of knights and dragons then.
She had managed to get her older sons into their bedroom after bath time with relatively little hassle, though Bill and Charlie still buzzed with energy and Percy’s mind turned with plots to stay up with his books for as long as possible without being caught. She’d assured them that they didn’t need to go to sleep just yet, but that they did need to start calming down, which they had reluctantly agreed to. Hopefully, by the time the twins were ready for bed they would all be tired enough to sleep. She could always hope.
Making her way back down the hall to the bathroom where Arthur currently struggled with the aforementioned troublemakers was becoming a more and more laborious task with each passing day. She was due to give birth any day now, and though this pregnancy had not been nearly as taxing as the one with the twins -- she had practically felt like the size of a mountain by the time they were born -- she still found herself wishing it would be over sooner rather than later. Of course, the Curse meant that some anxiety still lingered over the impending birth, though she had been assured countless times that she shouldn’t be affected, and, as disgusting as that sentiment was, it did bring some comfort.
She lingers in the doorway of the bathroom for a minute or two, observing her husband wrestle with the twins with an amused smile on her lips. Her husband is already soaked with water, which delivers no surprise. The twins seemed to love bath time, not for the actual bathing itself, but for the amount of chaos they found themselves able to cause with just a few inches of water and some creativity. Maybe she did want this pregnancy to drag on for a little longer, for as long as she couldn’t kneel down to the level of the bathtub, Arthur remained responsible for this task, and her clothes stayed clean and dry.
“He claims just the one,” Molly answers, shifting her weight between her swollen feet. “But I could feel at least three more tucked under his covers. For such a bright kid he’s an awful liar.”

gidexnprewxtt‌:
Gideon was restless. He needed to get away for awhile. Away from the pressures of the order and his work. Away from the glances he got from his twin. He just needed his family. The only member of his family not involved in the mess that everything was turning out to be. Molly was like a breath of fresh air. She was like a lifeline when he had been walking too long in the dark. He loved her more than anything and the children she had brought into his life were blessings he had never thought to have. His nephews were like children of his own in a way. He gave them all of his love because in his heart he knew he would never get the pleasure of being a father himself. Perhaps it was for the best. He wasn’t really father material anymore.
After seeing Amelia again he knew he needed to get his head on straight. She was his weakness. One run in with her after their recent break up and he was ruined. She was everything he had thought his future would be. He couldn’t quite come to terms with them being over. Regardless of if it was for the best or not. Regardless of who left who. He loved her as much as he ever had before. He hadn’t told anyone he was coming to see Molly. He saw her and less and less lately. His time never his own anymore.
As she opened the door he couldn’t help but smile. One of those rare genuine smiles that lit up his eyes. “You know you’re one of the only people who can tell us apart. Even the ones who spend a lot of time around us can’t tell the difference.” He moved to wrap his arms around her in a tight hug before placing a light kiss on her cheek and moving into the home. “I came to see how you and my nephews are doing. You’re going to be bringing your new baby into the world soon. You know Fabian and I are both excited for that.” He moved to ruffle the hair of each of his nephews smiling fondly at them. “How are you Molly?”
Tumblr media
“I’ve had twenty-six years of you two annoying me to figure it out.” Molly laughs, returning Gideon’s hug and stepping out of the doorway to make room for him to enter. “Besides, maybe the people you’re spending your time with aren’t quite as smart as me.” Molly was a worrier, it was just what she did. She wasn’t sure why, exactly, or how it had initially started -- though she was willing to bet that it stemmed from her responsibility over lives other than her own. She’d been a big sister all her life, feeling responsible for the twins, mothering them even when it wasn’t necessarily her job to do so, and now, as a mother, her tendency to fuss over other people had only increased.
Still, she felt that her worry over Gideon and Fabian’s wellbeing was well within the normal range. They hardly let her in on the details of the exact going-ons of the Order, or their place within it, but she knew that whatever they were doing had to be verging on dangerous, or else they wouldn’t be so cagey about the whole thing. If her little brothers were going to be out there, fighting a war that Molly couldn’t, then she felt it was her right to at least fret over them a little. She wouldn’t admit it to him, but Molly found herself worrying more about Gideon than she did Fabian -- while Fabian had always seemed so sure of himself, so in charge of the situation, she’d always sensed that Gideon was... less so. Perhaps more reluctant. Of course, without them shedding much light onto their lives anymore, she didn’t know if she even had as good a read on the boys as she did when they were young.
“Between you and me, they’re driving me up the wall today.” She says in a shouted whisper, chuckling again as she closes the door behind Gideon. “They’ve been going a little mad the last few days, the weather’s been awful out here, so they’ve been cooped up in the house. Percy loves it, of course, he locked himself up in the bedroom with about fifteen story books yesterday and I haven’t seen him since. But Bill and Charlie just want to run around, get some of their energy out, and the twins...” Molly shakes her head, “Well, I think they’re happy wherever they are so long as they’re causing some kind of mayhem.”
“Boys!” She calls, stepping back into the kitchen area with Gideon in tow, “Your Uncle Gid’s dropped in, say hello.” She’s met only with sheepish waves from Bill and Charlie while the twins chatter excitedly. “I might’ve told them to calm down a few minutes ago.” She mutters loud enough so only her brother can hear.

👀how desperately do you want a daughter?
“I wouldn’t call myself desperate, thank you very much.” Molly huffs, “I want a daughter, I do, and wouldn’t you? I’m in a house with my husband and five boys. I think it’s about time we get some more feminine energy in that house, balance things out a bit. Plus.. I sometimes think my sons take after Arthur, or even my brothers, more than they do me. I’d like a daughter to take after me, I don’t know if that’s selfish or a silly thing to wish for, but I think it’d be nice. But, that said,” Molly’s hands come to rest on her stomach, “If this one here isn’t a girl, you can bet I’m still going to love him more than anything. He’ll be counting his lucky stars that I’m his mother one day, that’s for sure.”

👀in a life or death situation, could you choose between your brothers?
“No.” Molly shakes her head, the answer easy to her. “I couldn’t choose between them, that’d be like asking me to choose between my boys. I don’t think either of them would want me to make that choice, either. If I did… I’d be losing them both, because whichever one I chose would resent me for not choosing the other, that’s the kind of people they are. And I wouldn’t want either of them choosing between the other and me, because I’d feel the same way.”

👀 + could you ever cut your brothers' out of your life? what if their involvement in the order puts your children in danger?
“No.” Molly says, shaking her head instantly. “No, I don’t give up on family, but I don’t think I would have to make that decision. My brothers love their nephews even more than they love me sometimes, I’ve seen the way they interact with each other. And even though the idiots don’t tell me anything about what they’re doing with the Order… I like to think they’re fighting to make sure that my boys get to grow up in a world that’s better than the one we grew up in. They’re fighting for good. Even if what they were doing put my children in danger… I’d have to stand by them, wouldn’t I? They’re family too, but it’s because they’re family that I know they wouldn’t let me make that choice. If my boys were in any danger whatsoever, Fabian and Gideon would do what they have to to make sure that no harm came to them, even if that meant them not seeing them anymore. That’s what I’m afraid of, you see. My brothers getting so caught up in all of this that they don’t see my boys anymore because of the danger. I don’t want to lose my brothers to this war, and I sure don’t want to cut them out of my life over it.”

👀 + what's your best memory of arthur?
Molly smiles, humming fondly. “There’s so many memories I’ve got of my husband, the best one feels like finding a needle in a haystack. I guess you’re expecting me to say our wedding day, or when we met, or the day our kids were born, but for me, it’s none of those. It’s the little memories. Just last week he made us tea after the kids had gone to bed, he didn’t ask, but he knew that I would have wanted one… and we just drank them together. We didn’t need to speak, we were comfortable just with one another’s company. And that memory isn’t flashy or grand, but it’s perfect.”

👀 + which son is your favorite?
“What sort of a horrid question is that?” Molly retorts, “I don’t have a favourite son, that’s ridiculous. I love them all in equal measure. Sure, I perhaps get along better with some than others, but that’s just because I’ve got more in common with them. I treat all my children the same, though, no matter what. No special treatment for anybody.”

👀 What is one stereotype people have about you?
“I don’t know if this counts as a stereotype, but people always tend to underestimate me. Especially since I decided to become a stay at home mother. They always seem surprised when I can hold my own in arguments, or by my intelligence. I did used to be a healer, which everybody conveniently seems to forget. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a mother, and I love my boys more than anything, but it’s not all that I am, and people always seem pretty keen to shove me in that box.”

Where: St. Mungo’s When: 29 February 1980, evening Who: Open
Sirius was having a rough time of it.
He hadn’t expected the scouting mission in Hogwarts to go south, for one. After the initial infiltration, it was supposed to be easy going as they swept the castle for anything that would be useful, but nothing was ever that easy. Why would it be easy? This was his life, after all–easy was at the bottom of things that Sirius Black deserved, apparently.
He also hadn’t expected to come across his cousin in Hogwarts, to finally face off with her… and to lose. Sirius was frankly surprise she let him live at all; maybe that part of her plan was a mistake. If Bellatrix had known he would survive the injuries she caused him, she probably would’ve shot one last curse to finish the job before going on her merry way. It almost did do him in, but then James and Amelia found him, and here he was: alive for another day.
Worse for wear, certainly, but alive.
His entire body ached, and even with all the work done on him, the Healers wanted him to stay for a day or two to be safe. Sirius absolutely did not want to do that, so when a figure came into his view, his first words were, “Wanna break me outta here? Before I lose my damn mind?”
Tumblr media
As per usual, Molly is among the last people to be informed about the disastrous past few hours. She was still in Hogsmeade when the news broke that there had been some sort of a mass poisoning at Rufus Scrimgeour’s induction ceremony, and, though she may no longer technically be a healer, she finds herself heading to St Mungo’s to see if there’s anything that can be done before heading home.
Though they managed to administer just about everyone with an antidote before anything too terrible happened, the hospital is practically brimming with people who had fallen victim to the cruelty. Why someone would do such a thing, Molly can’t quite understand. There doesn’t seem to have been a specific target, anybody who drank the punch had fallen ill -- so why risk killing dozens?
It’s not something she wanted to dwell on.
Her services aren’t particularly needed once the antidote has been administered, but Molly finds herself hanging around afterwards anyway. The halls of this place are so familiar to her that it feels like walking through her own home, though she doesn’t let herself get sucked in by the fantasy. Once, this place was her whole life, but now she had five children and a sixth coming any day now, she needed them to be her whole life, and she was happy with things this way.
She was about to head home when she overheard one of the healers mentioning Sirius Black, immediately catching her attention. Should have seen the injuries this kid had, some sort of duel. He came in just in time. The fact that Sirius was here for something other than the poisoning was enough to set Molly on edge, her mind immediately jumping to the worst possible conclusions, and knowing, with a sinking feeling, that her brothers were most likely caught up in this mess. It was only a matter of time until someone got hurt, but she was hoping it wouldn’t be something she would have to worry about for some time yet.
She decides without much hesitation to stop by Sirius’ room before she heads home, knocking politely on the door but not really waiting for a response before waddling into the room -- almost nine months pregnant, walking was becoming more and more of a chore. She shakes her head at the boy’s request, tutting softly as she crosses the threshold and picks up the notes left behind by his healers, grimacing at what she reads. “Merlin, Black. What the hell happened?”

unspeakableprewett‌:
Molly was clearly unimpressed, Fabian hastened to add. “I don’t think Lily minded. She’s probably used to that sort of thing, what with James and Sirius. I don’t know if they can match the level of your boys, but I reckon they make for a noisy house sometimes.”
He started smiling wider as Molly went on, flattered beyond what he’d admit. He liked to think he was a good uncle. That he meant as much to his family as they did to him, and most of the time, Fabian didn’t doubt it. But everything was so different now. Not even he and Gideon had stayed on solid ground with each other. “Yeah, well, they’re easy kids to love. And I’d like them to have …” Fabian caught himself, stopped himself from saying good memories of me just in case. “To have trust in me. Not that I think there’s ever going to be anything they can’t get from you and Arthur, but if they ever need something, I want them to know they can come to me.”
He saw so much of himself, Molly and Gideon when he looked at the Weasley kids. How happy the three of them had been, growing up with so much love. If his work for the war did anything, Fabian hoped it would keep their lives idyllic. But he worried. Whatever Molly said - and she was right, she always was - he was simply … exhausted. And he could see no end. “Thanks, Molly.” Fabian didn’t specify for what, that was their new ways. Speaking in silences, pauses and cut-off conversations. But he had never felt, in all of that, for so much as a second that his sister wasn’t there for him.
Shaking off his sudden gloom, certainly before the boys came down and saw him, Fabian transformed his face into a grin for them instead. It wasn’t difficult, particualrly as he could hear the thundering of feet grow louder. He exchanged a look with Molly, her knowing smile only making Fabian laugh harder. He quickly followed Bill’s example and took his place at the table, staring at each well-loved face with a pensive smile. This was the real reason, for all of it, every one of these kids, and he didn’t know if that made him feel better, or simply put more pressure behind everything he was trying (and failing) to get right. For now, at least, he could be glad to be with his family.

WHO: Molly && Narcissa WHERE: Hogsmeade Village WHEN: February 29 1980, 9:32am
There were times that Molly felt she could be doing more for the wizarding community in such dark times. Actually, she felt like this almost every day. Her brothers, though she worried deeply for them, were fighting for change, even if it didn’t seem as though much progress had been made, and though the rational part of her mind told her that she had five children and a sixth coming very shortly, there were moments that Molly worried she was simply standing by while awful things happened, and this wasn’t something she felt good about.
So, when she heard about the rebuilding efforts happening in Hogsmeade, she doesn’t hesitate to grab her boys and head out to the village to see what she can do to help. Though she doesn’t agree with the Malfoy family on a number of issues -- not the least of which being the way they look down their snooty noses at the way she chooses to live her life -- she has to admit that what they are doing was a good thing, even if she felt like it was equal parts charitable kindness and publicity stunt.
She pushes the twins in their pram through the village, and though many parts have been damaged or destroyed, she couldn’t help but note how pretty the town still was, reminding her fondly of her youth, when she and Arthur would sneak out of the walls of Hogwarts to venture here on the weekends and go into bars they weren’t old enough to drink at. Bill and Charlie walk on either side of her, instructed to hold onto the pram, while Percy is out with Gideon for the day. She stops only for a moment to check on the twins when she hears one of them beginning to fuss, parking the pram out the front of one of the boutiques and checking on the boys -- they had only been fussing to get out of the pram, apparently -- before turning her attention back to her older sons, only to find them nowhere to be seen.
“Damnit.” Mary mutters, looking around her immediate surroundings for the boys and only spotting one other person in the vicinity -- Narcissa Malfoy. Though Molly didn’t have much nice to say about most of the Malfoy family, she did have something of a soft spot for the young matriarch. She’d encountered Narcissa during one of her trips to the maternity shelter, and she’d learned that the younger woman, like Molly, was expecting. Though she didn’t expect that someone from a family like Narcissa would have any trouble with this curse, she could understand the woman’s concern, and she could empathise with it. “Narcissa,” She calls, pushing the pram towards the woman without much care for introductions or formalities, “No chance you’ve seen a couple of boys, about this tall? Probably hiding because they’re about to be in huge trouble?”

“Sorry!“ Pandora answered with a start, all but by reflex. Trying to understand the situation she was in, she first noticed the sharp pain in her leg - where the stroller had hit, she realized. The woman must have run into her - Molly, she recognized, a neighbour of hers. Just her luck - out of all the people she could have bumped into it had to be someone who knew her. That was rather predictable, she realized - it was not the first time Pandora had chosen the worst possible place to stop in, and it wasn’t the first time she suffered the consequences. Though to be fair, she wasn’t simply stopping to enjoy the view this time - not that the view was bad, she was actually really enjoying the decorating. She was looking for her husband, whom she had lost track of - either because of distraction from her part or from his - and who she was now trying to spot in this sea of people, not wanting to get much farther than when they’d last known of each other’s whereabouts unless he came back, and completely disregarding the fact that she was still in the middle of a crowded street trying to move forward.
That was exactly why she didn’t like to come to those kinds of events. Pandora much preferred to celebrate around people she knew, and in the middle of this sea of strangers, she was losing her bearings, as always happened. For some reason, she still expected things to go differently, expected herself to somehow get used to the feeling,  even knowing full well that she would regret it. Still, her guiding principle was that curiosity was always worth following, and she had been curious about Valentine’s day celebrations. Now she just needed to settle in a quiet place to try and enjoy herself, which was what she and her husband were on their way to doing until they.. ran into some difficulties.
“I’m sorry, Molly, I’m was just… About to get out of the way… Have you by any chance seen my husband? “

“Pandora,” Molly says breathily, recognising her neighbour now that she has taken a moment to actually look at the person in front of her. Look, she didn’t not like the Lovegoods, in fact, she thought they were perfectly pleasant people, thank you very much. She just found them a little... odd, was all, with their Quibbler and matching scattered minds and the way they spoke as though they weren’t quite sure where the sentence was going. Of course, they were only neighbours, and it wasn’t as though Molly knew the Lovegoods exceptionally well, but she liked to think she knew them enough to make such a judgement.
“You’re alright.” Molly mutters in response to the woman’s apology. The twins were alright, and Molly herself had spoken more out of instinct than anger, already on the defensive in case whoever she had happened upon were less friendly than Pandora. “Just watch where you’re going, Pandora. You don’t know who you’ll run into around here.”
“Have I seen your husband?” Molly repeats, raising a brow at the question. “No, Pandora, I haven’t. I don’t even know where my husband’s got off to, honestly.” She lets out a sigh, they were neighbours, weren’t they? It wouldn’t hurt her to act like a good neighbour. “Where’d you see him last? I can help you look while I wait for Arthur.”
