The great thing about pokemon cards is that if you're showing them to someone who doesn't like/care/or know about them you can just say "the contents of this binder are potentially worth hundreds of dollars" and now they are suddenly interested. They don't gotta know that I just love the little pictures and like filling in catalogues.

Same anon, but back after watching the fish video… from what I got, he’s judging them based on their abdomen/wen, their tail and the curvature of their spines along with the usual colors…

Like bigger wen and the nice curved spine makes them pricey/good while a smaller wen and a more square structure or any humps lets them get sent to other tank

But now I’ll probably look more into fish raising, thanks for throwing me into this rabbit hole ^^

Yeah I got used to seeing which wen and overall body chunk was desirable but I couldn’t see much pattern with the backs.. I think the tails have that uptick he spoke about but idk about the back?? Like I think a hump near the back was good?? But then a hump near where the head wen starts wasn’t as good? I thought sometimes he liked when it was all smooth but other times with a hump iiiidk all I know is that man loves a chunky goldfish
