Need Chrome to end his villain arc and come crawling back to Ekusu so badly.

Like, I literally need him to break down like a pathetic loser while confessing his love, it would be sooo hot.

Need him being so pent up with his emotions they come bursting out in front of Shiguru and he vents about needing Ekusu and loving him and being afraid of losing him forever and he cries and Shiguru awkwardly tries to comfort him by giving him advice and basically telling him that just because Ekusu switched teams it doesn't mean he wouldn't want to be friends anymore, that they can still hang out, he just has to properly communicate his desires instead of insanely chasing after him and expecting Ekusu of all people to understand what Chrome feels and wants and needs when he's never properly communicated it before.

And he, like, gets his act together after he stops crying and nervously heads out towards Persona's sponsor... he isn't usually such a coward but the closer he comes the more he wishes to turn around and just- just run.

He's just so scared Ekusu will say he hates him now and Chrome- he doesn't believe he could take that.

He strolls up to the shop and takes several minutes to compose himself on the surface before entering. He doesn't even have to introduce himself because team Persona is in the lobby, but they're all really surprised to see him there.

His heart is beating in his chest harder than it ever has before and he feels lightheaded from the anxiety.

He's stared at with surprise by everyone in the sushi shop.

"I don't mean to cause trouble, I just... I just want to talk to you, Ekusu."

Ekusu seems surprised but he receives him good naturedly. "Yeah, sure. About what?"

"Can we talk in private," Chrome hesitantly asks, eyes flickering across the expressions of everyone present. "Alone."

He hates how shaky his voice sounds to his own ears and he doesn't dare to make eye contact with Ekusu anymore for he fears he'll break down crying again.

The entire room is dead silent, waiting, and Chrome feels an increased urge to run away. Run away before he hears a 'no', before-

"Alrighty!" Ekusu exclaims after inspecting him for a few seconds. He jumps forward and Chrome is startled into looking him in the eyes. They're still as vibrant as ever, so full of passion but devoid of that sparkly admiration they used to carry whenever looking at Chrome.

Ekusu grabs Chrome by the hand. "I'll borrow our room for a while, okay Bird?" He asks and doesn't really wait for an answer of affirmation or denial, just tugs Chrome forward by his hand.

The gesture makes Chrome a little insane. So casually touching him. So casually inviting him to his room. After everything. Casually holding his hand.

"You share your room?" Chrome asks on the way, unable to push down his burning jealousy.

“Yep! Bird snores though,” Ekusu jokes in good nature.

“You never shared a room with me,” Chrome quietly retaliates, anger shimmering from sheer jealousy.

Ekusu gives him a sidelong glance. “There wasn’t enough space here. We had it when I was in Pendragon.”

Which is completely logical and Chrome is acting irrational, it’s really not that deep but that doesn’t make his hatred towards Bird any lesser nor does it suppress the urge to steal Ekusu back home, back to him. And this time Chrome would share the room with Ekusu too, not just Bird. He’d share the bed even. He’d-

“Come, sit,” Ekusu cheerily invites him in, snapping him out of his thoughts.

So yeah, they get to the room and close the door and Ekusu sits down on the floor and invites Chrome to sit too and Chrome is essentially like "Ekusu, do you hate me?"

And it throws Ekusu off because where did that come from and he's like "Eh? Of course not!"

And Chrome's like so much lighter with relief but also "I thought you'd hate me by now, i haven't really been nice to you lately."

And Ekusu lowkey doesn't get what Chrome means because he's that oblivious sometimes and then it's like Chrome asking him why he never came by for a visit or anything and Ekusu is like ‘you never came either’ and Chrome feels like that's unfair because Ekusu is the one who left the team and Chrome had justly felt betrayed and angry and anguished and like half of him had suddenly gone missing and he felt so lost while Ekusu walked away without a second glance spared. But he shouldn't keep this to himself. He came here to talk. Earnestly.

So he lays down his feelings on the matter, unable to meet Ekusu's eyes from burning embarrassment and tight anxiety of what he just admitted. He's met with silence and it makes him even more nervous, so he starts babbling on about how he felt really angry towards Ekusu because he left, because he's always considered them equals and always pictured them together, that life to Chrome didn't look like him standing at the top but he and Ekusu both standing there, that he's been chasing after him ever since Ekusu left in a desperate attempt to get back what he once had because he needs Ekusu, he needs him and he loves him and he wants him and he really really hates not talking to him or not beyblading with him and that he even misses Ekusu's strange taste in food and his contagious excitement and the way he's like a spoiled child sometimes, especially when it comes to exercise or not getting to bey battle and how endearing Chrome really finds all these parts of Ekusu and he started embarrassingly crying halfway through the speech so he tries to hide his face in his hands, red from both shame and tears and mortified at how much he'd just let slip out of himelf, all the ugly parts he's been trying to burry displayed in front of Ekusu.

Chrome starts apologising profusely for laying all of it down on this child and desperately trying to stop weeping, to compose himself like an adult and try to take whatever Ekusu will say in stride but he's really not ready to be hugged in a tight embrace. His senses get invaded by familiar sensations and he's filled with such nostalgia, the way Ekusu hangs on him, the way his hair brushes against Chrome's cheeks, the way he smells, the way his body fits so perfectly against Chrome's- he wraps his arms around Ekusu in turn and clutches onto him like a lifeline, burying his head in Ekusu's shoulder to hide it.

"You should've visited sooner, Chrome," Ekusu quietly comments.

"Sorry."

"What for?"

"For- for laying so much on you. You don’t have to accept my feelings, just- please let me hang out with you sometime."

Ekusu pulls back slightly at that comment and Chrome openly gazes at him for the first time since his embarrassing outburst. He looks beautiful like this, as always, but such a serious expression doesn't suit him. His face should be filled with joy.

Ekusu slowly wipes Chrome's face with his sleeves to get the tears away and then pulls out a tissue so Chrome can clean away all the embarrassingly accumulated snot. He's moved by the care but he tries to tell himself not to get too hung up on it. But then Ekusu's fingers trace the outline of his jaw. Chrome locks eyes with him, in wonder. But Ekusu's eyes gently flutter shut, pretty eyelashes teasing Chrome's composure before Ekusu leans in and leaves a gentle and sweet press of his lips against Chrome's.

Chrome freezes, unable to move, unable to process. Ekusu pulls away and looks at him, cheeks flushed in embarrassments. Then it settles in, he just got kissed-! by Ekusu-!

He flushes terribly too and stammers. "Wha- what why?"

Ekusu shrugs. "I wanted to see how it feels."

Butterflies flutter inside of Chrome's stomach and hope skyrockets like crazy. "So... so you kissed me?"

"Mhm."

"Can I..." he trails off, hand hesitantly reaching for Ekusus' cheek, cupping it. Ekusu leans against it. "Can I kiss you too?"

Half lidded eyes peer at him, filled with promises of sin Chrome isn't a man enough to resist. "Mhm," Ekusu repeats himself and licks his lips, making them moist, making them shiny and impossible to resist.

Chrome goes in like a hungry man, barely able to control himself. He kisses Ekusu with burning desire, as if he's trying to swallow him whole. It's not poetically gentle like Ekusu's kiss was, it's desperate, it's needy, it's a testament of his patience and his last lifeline.

He pecks his lips, he licks them, he sucks Ekusu's bottom lip, his hands take freedom to travel under Ekusu's shirt and he coaxes his lips apart by feeling up Ekusu's body, making him gasp. He slides his tongue in, experimentally, and Ekusu just lets him. Just like that. It makes Chrome a little insane.

They kiss clumsily with considerable lack of experience yet it's the best feeling Chrome's ever felt. He feels euphoria trying to catch a rhythm with Ekusu, feeling burning skin beneath his palms and tasting the sweetness of temptation, quite literally.

Ekusu breaks their kiss apart, desperately gasping for air, chest heaving as if he'd just ran the marathon.

"Your stamina is as poor as ever," Chrome bemusedly comments.

"Were you trying to suffocate me!?" Ekusu complains in turn, wiping his mouth of excess saliva. His lips look bitten red, his appearance is completely disheveled, clothes crumpled, hair all over the place, anyone with a smidgen of experience or knowledge would be able to tell what just transpired here.

Chrome knows he shouldn't, but he really likes the thought of that. He wants to display to the whole world that Ekusu is his, his his his.

He buries his face into Ekusu's shoulder again, hugging his lithe frame to himself.

"Eh, what is it?"

"I love you."

A beat of silence passes between them. Then Ekusu's small hands move and entangle into Chrome's hair, cradling his head.

"Me too, I think."

Chrome looks up. "You think?"

"It's hard to tell."

"Well, would you like it if you saw me like this with anyone else?"

Ekusu's eyebrows furrow cutely. "Eh? What do you mean?"

"This. With someone else. Kissing. And hugging."

"No!"

The instantaneous strong response throws Chrome off guard.

"You did it with me so now you can't do it with anyone else!" Ekusu says, puffed up. There's jealousy burning in his eyes and Chrome wants to absolutely devour him.

Chrome can't help but go in for a kiss again.

Silly little ideas about Chrome x Ekusu

Disclaimer, personal headcanon, Chrome is an adult to me (between 18 and 21).

Seriously have the urge to write Chrome studying for uni or sth (because why not) and Ekusu is just around, playing with some bullshit because he's like 13 while Chrome is like an adult (his age is unknown but every passing day i age him up a little LMFAOOO) and it's sooo funny for me to imagine them having sex and after it one goes lalala having fun and the other is ugh must implement Modus ponens and Modus tollens ugh…

Also it could turn really cute quickly too, just domestic bullshit with Chrome trying to study and his cute little eccentric boywife bringing him food and hand feeding him because he grew bored and wanted Chrome to pay attention to him and also because he really likes feeding Chrome in general and has absolutely zero regard for personal space (which is a blessing in disguise and absolute hell on earth simultaneously).

Also would be really funny if Ekusu would have some homework he has a hard time understanding plus he's very unmotivated to do it because it's not fun so Chrome helps him through piss easy shit like what's 3x - 4 = 8.

I want him to be fully hit with the knowledge that he literally chased a middle schooler and is in a relationship with him now like damn.

And he's like 'it's because it's Ekuso, it's just because it's him specifically' which isn't wrong ya kno, but he still has to keep their relationship a secret for very obvious reasons. Which is hard because Ekusu barrels through personal space like a bulldozer and he's overly affectionate in public as well. Sometimes it's easy to play it off as if he's a role model Ekusu looks up to. Sometimes, however, he can recognise a second, dubious glance at their direction and has to subtly tell Ekusu to be a bit more mindful.

Ekusu couldn't care less though. He'll still make Chrome carry him in public if they have to walk too far for his liking and he grows bored and tired of physical exercise. And it's not like Chrome could ever seriously tell him no. Also, he loves carrying Ekusu, possessiveness sparks in him at the mere thought. The fact that HE gets to do that and that Ekusu wants him to do it too... instant throbbing boner.

Yeah anyways Ekusu sometimes sleeps over at Pendragon's headquarters. In Chrome's room. Wearing Chrome's oversized shirt next morning, covered in love bites.

Both team pendragon and team persona are aware of their relationship and have had their input on it, but they let it be due to Ekusu's nature. Chrome does earn a side eye occasionally though, especially from Multi or Miss Meiden whenever he comes over to Persona's place to hang out with his boyfriend, but they let him be after threatening him if he ever dares to do anything bad to Ekusu (lol. Lmao.) he'll regret it. They do however keep tabs on them, so if anything were to happen they'd immediately act on it and not leave Ekusu at the mercy of an adult.

Oh yeah Chrome tries to hide their relationship from both teams, especially Persona, but Ekusu is really not careful about it and accidentally exposes a hickey one too many times after coming back from Pendragon for Multi or miss Meiden to believe it's just a mosquito bite. It's not even Chrome's fault because he's initially careful about leaving marks. He rarely leaves them, and they're in hardly visible places, even though he really wants to mark him, but Ekusu spurs him on too much to mark him more sometimes, and he gets carried away lol.

It also doesn't help that he sometimes wears Chrome's clothes when he comes back, neither does his obliviousness help. For example, one time it rained while Chrome and Ekusu were on their way to Pendragon HQ so Shieru offered to lend him some of his clothes but Chrome hastily denied his help and dragged Ekusu to his own room and gave him his clothes instead, arguing that Shieru's would likely be too small and it's better to have oversized clothing than too small clothing (the thought of Ekusu wearing Shieru's clothes made him incredibly jealous. And the thought of him wearing only Chrome's clothes made him so possessive). And Ekusu is easy to convince, he goes along with Chrome's whims so easily, but retelling that to his teammates makes Multi immediately know what time it is lol.

Like, she picks up on Chrome's obsessive possessive toxic crush before Ekusu is aware of it, but she never expected Chrome would ever actually tell Ekusu nor that Ekusu would accept the feelings and return them. Or, well, somewhat return them, not to that insane degree. Maybe. Possibly.

So yeah, Chrome comes over sometimes but he doesn't sleep over because they lack space and Ekusu shares his room with Bird (Chrome does NOT like that) but they do sometimes languidly hang around in common areas (if they're not blading due to Ekusu's insistence and Chrome's inability to deny him), being all domestic about it. Sometimes Chrome does his work there with Ekusu by his side, or Ekusu sleeping with his head on Chrome's lap.

Sometimes Multi and Bird join them and never before would've anyone thought Ekusu can be possessive, but when for the first time Bird goes a little too into Chrome's personal space Ekusu actually intercepts and plasters himself over Chrome, cutely pouting and lightly flushed in embarrassment. It takes everyone aback and makes Chrome flush too but he also feels so happy about it. That Ekusu likes him enough to be jealous if his friend is too close for too long.

Ekusu isn't overall jealous though and he doesn't limit Multi or Bird but he has his moments when he gets pouty because Chrome's attention is off him for too long and on someone else. And it's adorable.
