MISTLETOE, BUT ACTUALLY HOLLY
☾ ft. tetsuro kuroo
☾ sfw. because who doesn't find the tradition amusing? 920
Tumblr media
somebody on the nekoma boys volleyball team thought it would be funny to hang mistletoe above the clubroom door. it was all in good fun, taking advantage of a year old holiday tradition to laugh at the embarrassed and defensive expressions of his fellow teammates as they tried to escape from the obligatory kiss in a fluster.
it was kuroo. kuroo was the somebody who thought it would be funny.
it was actually holly, and he’d explain the differences in the plant without anyone asking or caring, but the tradition still stood. his mom had asked him to rummage around in a box tucked away with old decor to see if she could find anything remotely festive to celebrate the holiday season. as he was rummaging around through bunches of tangled strings of fairy lights with dead bulbs and old gingerbread kits, his eyes brightened in curiosity as he retrieved a small plastic holly plant from the very bottom of the pile.
and he’s sure glad he went through with his plan to bring it into school, too, because the look on yaku’s face as he grew red with anger and shouted over his embarrassment at walking under the plant with lev was absolutely priceless.
“now the two of you gotta kiss.” he laughed as he leaned against the lockers, arms crossed over his chest. yaku gave him a murderous look.
“we aren’t doing anything!”
lev, too amused with admiring and flicking the mistletoe (which was shorter than him), didn’t pay much mind to yaku’s disgust, though if had noticed, he probably would’ve taken a disappointedly offended stance at his suggestion.
“guess you’re in a festive mood, kuroo.” kai muttered as he glanced at him with a sort of nervous smile, removing his jacket. kuroo chuckled.
“just thought it would be fun. i thought you of all people would get a kick out of it, yamamoto.” kuroo turned toward his junior with the distinct blonde mohawk, who only scowled at him from over his shoulder as he opened his locker.
“you better watch your back, kuroo. you’re next!” he pointed an accusatory finger at him, still disgruntled over the fact that he had (nearly) walked into the club room in sync with kenma. kuroo scoffed.
“like you could get me!”
“yeah? stand under the doorway, then!” yaku chimed in, shooting him an irritated glare. kuroo’s eyes darted between him and the mistletoe at the door. there was only a brief pause in between before kuroo strided toward the door and lingered at the threshold, teasingly taking steps in and out of the club room. yaku hissed.
“see? can’t get me.” he smirked, and with that, the rest of his body, along with his face, disappeared behind the wall and heading to unlock the gym.
on his return back, kuroo puffed out a breath of fog and shivered. it had snowed the night before, leaving a strong chill in the dry air, and he was eager to get inside the club room as quickly as possible to where the heat was.
just as he was about to step inside, however, he heard a voice, and immediately recognizing it, his heart somersaulted in his chest.
“kuroo!” it cried, and it sounded close too, so close that kuroo instantly felt his face warm when he turned around and was immediately met with your face only inches from him.
your cheeks were rosy from the cold, even despite a scarf wrapped snug around your neck and a hat keeping your head warm. your jacket also zipped up to your chin, and he couldn’t help but grow increasingly nervous with every passing moment he spent looking at your eager expression.
it only took kuroo a single semester’s worth of partnerwork for him to grow utterly hopeless around you--and everyone knew it. it was hard for anyone to miss his clumsy demeanour or tinted cheeks around you, so much so it was a miracle that somehow you hadn’t picked up on all the signs.
fumbling with his hands, tripping over his words, prolonged eye contact; he shrinks when he thinks about how he's reduced to a klutz around you.
“kuroo, hey! i'm glad i was able to catch you! i have these papers from minaho sensei that you missed when you were on your away game.”
you extended a hand to hand him said papers, slightly crumpled in your freezing grip. he quickly took them from you upon noticing.
“oh, thank you so much. i don’t know what i would do without—“
“ooooooou, kuroo, you sly bastard! you had to have planned that!”
the two of you both looked in toward the classroom at a disgruntled, shirtless yamamoto, who seemed so distressed you were almost taken aback. kuroo narrowed his eyes.
“what the hell are you talking abo—-?”
and then the green above his head caught his peripherals, and amidst the cold, kuroo started to sweat.
the two of you slowly looked up in unison at the mistletoe, the mischief device of kuroo’s own division, gleaming in the sun. you had stepped onto the threshold under the mistletoe, resulting in the two of you now both stuck having to fulfill in a year old tradition.
truly, it was a miracle you didn’t catch the signs.
yaku’s eyebrow shot up in satisfaction, fulfilling kuroo's previous position with his arms crossed over his shoulder and leaning against the lockers. “got you.”
the two of you slowly turn toward one another with wide eyes and flustered expressions.
truly, it wasn't so much a miracle that kuroo didn’t catch the signs either.

Yandere Christmas: Day 6- Family Picture (Ushijima Wakatoshi)
Note: This is officially an addition to the “Confine” universe, but can be read as a standalone.
“Everyone, scoot in closer!”
“Ow- MOM! He stepped on my foot!”
“I did not!”
“Please stop arguing,” you said, your voice lacking any emotion at all. You had let go of emotion long ago, some time after Ushijima had kidnapped you that fateful day.
When escape had proven futile and you had been turned into the perfect, obedient housewife, you gave up trying to fight. Against him and against your own wishes of freedom.
You had peace. Or some semblance of it.
Why fight when you have such a wonderful family now? That is what Ushijima would say, undoubtedly.
But he’d never get your smiles, your laughter, or even your tears. Those had left along with your fighting spirit. Your children always wondered why their mommy never laughed at their “funny” jokes or smiled at their accomplishments. They wondered why you stared ahead, blank-faced and empty-hearted.
Did you think your husband even cared, as long as you belonged to him and played your role like a perfect little Barbie doll?
You stole a glance at Ushjima’s wide smile as he said “Say ‘Cheese’!”
No. Not one bit.
With the picture taken, Ushijima ushered you and your children out of the shop. The snow was falling lightly, dusting the tops of you and your “family’s” hats and hair. You looked blandly at a kissing couple and a grandma holding her grandchild up to see inside a shop’s window. Would you ever feel happiness like that with Ushijima or your children or possible grandchildren?
Everything felt so far away now, like even your pain was numbed by novocaine.
If you could just slip away into this crowd, you would. The idea excited you a little and you considered it until Ushijima grabbed your hand and pulled you closer to him.
Never let your eyes stray.
Never pretend that everything isn’t fine.
Never leave.
Never breathe.
Always know that your husband loves you so deeply that he can never, ever let you go.

⋆˚。⋆୨✧୧˚ 𝑲𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒐 𝒙 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓 ˚୨✧୧⋆。˚⋆
𝒮𝓊𝓂𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓎: When your crush, Kuroo, agrees to help tutor you, neither of you anticipated the freak snowstorm that would trap you at his house.
Tumblr media
"God, please," You felt your brain quite literally throbbing in your skull, "Stop talking for five seconds."
You didn't have to lift your head from your hands to imagine the look on Kuroo's face; a stupid mixture of smug, concern, and amusement. Every time you were subjected to that stare you were tempted to slap it off of him. Or kiss it off of him. One would more than likely result in the end of your friendship, so you kept your lips to yourself.
“Oh come on,” You heard him try and hide his laughter, and doing a poor job of it, “It’s really not that hard.”
“Says you,” You glared at him through your fingers, “Mr. Know-it-all.”
He rolled his eyes, putting the pencil that he was twirling down, “You were starting to get it earlier.”
“Then you started adding to it!” You took one of the crumbled sheets from the floor and threw it, watching as he did nothing but let it bounce off his head, “And you just thought because you get it, that I would too!”
He laughed, deep and loud, and you ignored the flutters in your chest, the way the sound was enough to make your hands sweaty. He leaned back on his palms, “We can call it if you want, the test isn’t till next week anyways.”
You nodded, conceding. “I think if we continue my head will quite literally explode.”
Laying your head on the little table he set up, you let your eyes shut for a moment, the warmth of his room soothed your body, while the coolest of the desk soothed your head. You startled, doing your best not to jump when you felt his fingers move through your hair, hesitantly. It was silent for a few moments, the movements of his hand was soft and light, and the headache you had felt coming on was disappearing.
“We wouldn’t want your head to explode,” He spoke finally, tone teasing but voice soft.
You grumbled, not having a snarky retort or quick jab. You didn’t want to move, but you knew you had to. With a heavy heart, and an over the top, loud groan, you lifted your head up, rubbing at your eyes.
Kuroo was watching you, quiet, not wanting to interrupt the brief moment of tranquility that had fallen upon the two of you. You were clearly tired, still clad in your school uniform, though you had stolen one of his hoodies. He was hoping you forgot to give it back to him, and continued to do so going forward. He hoped you forgot for a good while.
“Ugh,” You stood up, stretching your legs out, “You gonna be a gentleman and give me my bag?”
He rolled his eyes at the sarcasm, but moved regardless, grabbing your bag from his bed. You didn’t ask, but he started packing your notebooks away for you.
You pulled your phone out to check the time, moving to grab your bag from Kuroo, before pausing. You had a several missed calls from your father, as well as unread texts. Telling Kuroo to give you a second, you put your phone to your ear, calling your dad back.
He opened his door, aiming to give you some privacy, jumping as he nearly walked into his mom standing in the hall way. Her hand was raised, as if she was going to knock on his door. He raised an eyebrow towards her questioningly.
“Oh,” She looked mildly worried, “I was hoping she had gone home by now.”
He was grateful that you were on the phone and not standing there, narrowing his eyes, and his mom, realizing how her sentence may sound, quickly waved her hands.
“No, no, not like that! You know she’s always welcome over! I just meant—”
“Snow storm?” Your voice was sharp, cutting off whatever his mom was going to explain.
He heard the sound of his curtains opening, and he turned, seeing the sheer amount of snow outside. There was at least half a meter of snow on the ground, if not more, and the snow was still heavily falling.
He heard his mom sigh, “The weather report says it’s going to keep snowing throughout the night too, and because it came out of nowhere they can’t get any plows or trucks out to clear the roads.”
Whatever conversation you were having with your parents had finished, and you walked over to Kuroo, looking both stressed and rather frazzled.
“Neither of my parents can get over here to get me,” You sighed, tucking your phone into the hoodie pocket, “And they don’t want me trying to walk home.”
“Heavens no,” Kuroo’s mom shook her head, “Neither of you are stepping foot out there any time soon. Honey, you’ll stay here tonight. And however long it takes for them to clear the roads safely enough for either your parents or I to take you home.”
You felt your cheeks warm up lightly, “Oh, I wouldn’t want to impose—”
“It’s not imposing, dear.”
“What other option do you have?”
You laughed lightly as Kuroo’s head was smacked, his mother sending a scolding look his way for his comment, “I’ll go grab you some of my pajamas dear, give me a moment.”
“Aw,” Kuroo turned to you as his mom walked off, “Our first sleep over.”
Rolling your eyes you half heartedly raised your hands in faux excitement, “Yay.”
He pouted, and you weren’t fast enough to avoid his stupidly long arms, wrapping you in a too tight hug that nearly swept you off your feet, “Don’t worry— Kenma says my snorings gotten better.”
“I’ll smother you in your sleep,” You threatened, voice muffled from his shoulder digging into your cheek.
He let you go, but you weren’t able to get your footing, swaying and nearly falling backwards. His arms retightened, this time around your waist to keep you from toppling over.
“Sorry,” The teasing tone was gone, and for a moment he actually sounded sheepish, and you tilted your head up, ready to scold him.
Your noses were millimeters apart, and this close you could feel his breath against your face. With anyone else it would be uncomfortable, but with Kuroo it felt… nice. He smelled like the coffee he had gotten on his way home, and whatever cologne or deodorant you had begun to associate with him.
"I found- oh!" The sound of his mothers voice startled the two of you, and his arms quickly released you, doing nothing but allowing you to lose your balance.
Thankfully you caught yourself, both your faces warm, and his mother stood in the doorway, some folded-up clothes in her hands, "I'll leave these here," She placed them on the dresser, closer to Kuroo's door, moving to walk back downstairs, "Keep the door open tonight!"
She called the last bit over her shoulder, and you watched with amusement, and your own embarrassment, as Kuroo's face reddened more, calling after his mom in shock.
You and Kuroo had been friends for years, ever since middle school. You and Kenma got along, but you both knew Kuroo better than the other. Though you and the blonde weren't above teaming up against the older one.
"Sorry about her," He rubbed the back of his neck, "She's... well..."
You waved him off, laughing quietly, "It's fine. She means well."
The silence between you two felt a bit more awkward now, neither sure of what to say to break the tension. You moved first, grabbing the clothes, "I'm going to go change."
Kuroo watched you scurry off to the bathroom, waiting till you were out of earshot before groaning, burying his face in his hands, and falling onto his bed. A ping from his phone distracted him, and he checked it, no surprise at seeing Kenma having messaged him.
snow storm tonight
really? had no idea it interrupted our study session
you mean study date?
it wasn't a date! i'd take her on a better date than studying for chemistry NOT that i'm saying i want to take her on a date
you're a bad liar even over text
i'll make you run laps with yamamoto next practice
He watched the text bubbles pop up, Kenma no doubt cursing his entire existence in the safety of his bedroom.
you're cruel
He snorted at that, ready to respond when-
just tell her you like her please the pining is hurting all of us it's sickening
"Should I be concerned your mom has cute taste when it comes to pajamas?"
Your voice startled him, despite fully hearing you wander back down the hall to his room. He threw his phone back onto his bed, panicking that you'd, somehow, read the texts from all the way in his doorway. You didn't, and wouldn't have, but you were now suspicious, eyeing him weirdly.
"Everything good?"
"Just dandy," He smiled, trying to convey some type of calm attitude, "Just texting Kenma."
You nodded slowly, folded clothes in hand, and you moved, placing them with your bookbag, "Hopefully he's trapped at home and not somewhere else."
Kuroo snorted, "He's at home. Probably already playing whatever game he got recently. No school, no practice, it's his own personal heaven."
You laughed, organizing your items meticulously. He was very aware of the buzzing of his phone, no doubt it was still Kenma, calling him a coward in some form of the word. You were talking to him, something about school, or practice, or literally anything, but he couldn't hear you very well. His heart rate had yet to slow down since you wandered back in, Kenma's texts still in his mind.
just tell her you like her
It sounds so simple, yet as he sat on his bed, staring at you, it felt anything but. You were everything he liked in a girl, and even more. You were snarky and sweet, you got along with Kenma and Kuroo's parents, you didn't fully understand volleyball but you went to games to cheer them on whenever you could. You were dedicated and kind, but you were also so quick to put Kuroo in his place whenever it was needed. Which, according to Yaku, was a lot.
His thoughts were on a roll now, a runaway train where you were the only passanger.
" - are you even listening to me?"
"Are you free next weekend?"
His question came out almost as a shout, and it stunned you for a moment. You had been telling him about the stupid drama going on in your foreign language class, gossip he normally was absorbed in, but he was far away, stuck in whatever thoughts were going on in his mind. He had gotten fidgety where he sat, staring at you.
"Next weekend? Why?" You looked at him, trying to understand the anxiety that was creeping over him; a rare look for him.
"Like... Saturday?"
"I should be?"
"Doyouwanttogoonadate?"
“Do I—” You processed it a second after you started asking the question, face burning, heart hammering.
A date? He was asking you on a date?
“I—”
He turned away, forcing his gaze to focus on the heavy snow still falling outside, thicker on the ground than it had been minutes ago.
As subtly as you could, you grabbed a bit of skin between your fingers and pinched, the sharp pain sending prickles through your arm. Not dreaming. Okay.
Holy shit Kuroo just asked you on a date.
You licked your lips, noting the way he sat tense, as if waiting a blow up or rejection, “As long as it’s better than studying for school, yes.”
His head snapped towards you, eyes wide before the shock melted away, a giant grin forming on his face. “I dunno— I’d say we have pretty great chemistry together.”
“I take it back.”
“Nope!” He nearly leapt off his bed, crowding your space, “No take backs! We’ll go on a date next week. No studying, no text books, hopefully no getting stuck somewhere because of a snow storm.”
His energy was contagious, and soon you found yourself giggling with him, laughing at absolutely nothing.
“I really will need you two to sleep with the door open tonight,” His mom’s voice startled you two again, and you laughed, a bit sharp and surprised as he turned towards his door, calling out a sharp, “Mom!”

A Very Full Bed {Ushijima x Reader}
Tags: F/M, M/M, post timeskip, Fluff, Hand holding, establish relationship, ushijima is soft, reader's gender is unspecified, one shot, not beta read, sfw word count: 1262 Summary: its the first time Ushijima entered your room and you have a bed full of plushies A/N: the fic mentioned from this post [ao3]
•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°~•~°
"Oh" in a mildly surprised tone is the first thing Wakatoshi says when he enters your room, having to duck down the door frame. It's obvious what this is about. The first thing anyone sees in your room is the many, many stuffed animals that sit on your bed and pillows, talking up almost half the bed space. They are stacked by height, smaller plushies on top of bigger, wider ones. Bigger, cute animals leaning on the headboard.
You quietly laugh to yourself before speaking to him. "Yeah. it's like a kid's bed, right?"
He doesn't say anything, simply humming in agreement as he scans the bed. You wait for some kind of comment from him, something along the lines of "you're a child at heart", "you didn't outgrow them", or "aren't you too old for this?".
You doubt that Wakatoshi is the kind to say something like the last line, but everyone who always had something to say.
Still he is quiet, just standing by the door. Finding no reason to talk about it more, you move on to why you two are actually here: finding the damn charger for your laptop. Just when you two were about to start sorting through your drive to see shots you took of Wakatoshi in his game, your laptop died.
"Can you look near my bed? I'll check the drawers here." You instruct. Opening one the first drawer you can reach and dig through the items.
"How many stuffed animals do you have?" Wakatoshi asked.
You didn't think he'd still be on that. With your hand still in the drawer, you look up to the ceiling and recount each plushie you know you have. "I dunno. I know I got 4 big ones on the bed. There's another two in my closet somewhere.” attention moving to the door of the closet, recalling if you’ve recently done rearrangements in there.
"You must be sleeping well at night with them around," he said
"I don't sleep with most of them, actually. Every night I move the bigger ones over there”, you point at the armchair.
Not really being in a hurry to find the charger, you stopped searching and walked up to the bed then let yourself fall onto the mattress. Some plushies squished under your weight.
"See, if I sleep with them every night like this, it's gonna get messy." You twist and climb on properly. Some plushies sitting near the edge were either moved to sit atop the bigger stuffed toys or thrown to the armchair. Once there was enough space, you lay down on your back, holding onto a large headed koala plushie. “But, yeah, It's really comfy here though,”
Wakatoshi gently smiles. It may seem the same from his indifferent expression, there's enough to see that he is happy.
You pat the vacant space beside you, “here.”
Wakatoshi initially hesitates to take the invitation. You’re insistent, moving other stuffed toys aside to make room for him. Giving in, he does his best to help you, placing of the smaller plushies to sit atop the pillow sized ones, huddling together. Though, there are still others by the foot of the bed that stayed.
The mattress sinks from his weight and you feel it. The weight of an athlete is not one you usually perceive. Wow can it move you. He does the best he can to not russell the bed that much as he settles himself. Some of the plushies fall back to blankets. His broad and muscled shoulders and arms squash the soft materials of the stuffed toys and he rests his head on the blue, seal shaped pillow. You hand him the large, round plush of a Shiba Inu, placing it over his chest. To which he takes and coversnhis stomach with.
You change your position to rest on your side, facing Wakatoshi. “How is it?”
As you patiently wait for his answer, he shifts in small motions. A hand petting the stuffed dog. You can’t help but think how silly this is right now.
With his usual deep, monotone voice, he says, “everything is soft.”
You smile. “Sure is, huh?”
He holds out the stuffed Shiba Inu, turning to its front side for him to see its face. It has round black eyes, tongue sticking out and pink blush.
“And very cute,” he followed up. Hands squishing the sides of its head. Thumbs pressing on the cheeks. "This is the first for me"
Somehow, this is a surprising reveal to you. Not that you ever thought he was the kind to enjoy plushies as much as you do. You have thought of him as someone who could care less about them. “What, laying in a bed full of stuffed toys?” you ask in light sarcasm, just to be a little funny.
Wakatoshi hums in agreement, still playing with the dog.
“Really? Even as a kid?” you ask, turning to your side so not to fall asleep. “You didn't have a lot of stuffed toys growing up?"
“They gave me some when I was young. I don’t believe I slept holding one or having one at my bed, however,” he said.
He takes interest in a small cat plush wearing a dotted dress sitting by your head and takes it, toying with its paws. “Now I feel like I’ve missed out on something so simple.”
You take your favorite purple penguin to wrap your arms on and you cheerfully say to Wakatoshi, “good thing you have now, huh?”
His attention returns to you. Eyes a surprise from what you said. Then, the familiar subtle fondness you’ve observed from him shows through calm eyes and a very rare natural smile.
“You're right,” he said.
You turn and push yourself up. It gives you a good look at Wakatoshi, ever so politely lying straight on your bed surrounded by the cutest and most adorable soft toys. It's silly really. You never thought you’d ever see him like this, given how serious he comes off whether he realizes it or not. You smile at him. Plopping yourself beside him a little closer and on eye-level to him.
“How come there’s so many?” he asked, shifting to have his body face you.
“Well…”
The two of you stay in bed, talking about how and when you got the plushies. Which ones you got as a kid, those you bought with your own money or won on crane games, and those you got as a gift, along with who they were from. Wakatoshi listens attentively, asking questions after you answer. He listens to you babble on, saying his simple yet unintentionally funny remarks here and there. You’d laugh. Its nice and relaxing.
At one point, when your voice got soft and slower as you tell the story of how you got a very expensive pokemon plush in a crane game after three times and barely spending, He sneaks his hand to yours that is resting on the mattress, lacing them together. You continue to talk as you return the gesture by playing with the grip of your fingers on his hand. Face to Face to each other.
Suddenly, Wakatoshi said, tenderness the most clear in his expression it has ever been, "we should do this more often."
You want him to clarify what he meant by that. Does he mean just lying down together? Talking about random stuff? Or, just lying in bed. Lying on your bed? Does he want you spending time on his bed?
Whichever it is, your heart wholly agrees.
"Yeah."

Winter festivals were never Ushijima Wakatoshi's thing, but ever since he met you, he had made some exceptions. You were so excited about the upcoming winter festival as you loved the holiday spirit and celebrating with people while cozying under scarves and drinking hot cocoa.
Your winter break just started and Ushijima was walking you home. You couldn't contain your excitement about the upcoming festival and kept talking about it as Ushijima listened. The corner of his eyes crinkles slightly at your rosy cheeks and how your eyes were glittering in excitement. He takes your hand in his and puts it in his pocket to keep warm as you continue to talk about it while smiling a little wider.
The night of Christmas Eve has finally come and Ushijima was waiting outside your door. He exhaled to see the cloud of vapor that came from his warmth and you suddenly came out frantic with your hat barely on your head and your jacket in one arm.
"Ushi! I'm sorry I kept you waiting in the cold, I was taking too long getting ready" You exclaim as you catch your breath and put your shoes on all the way.
He couldn't help but find your frantic appearance adorable and he adjusted your hat and helped you put your jacket in the other arm. "It's alright. I didn't wait long." You smile at him as he helps you and it immediately warms him up, extinguishing the cold that once enveloped him. "Let's go now, it should be starting soon." He says as he extends his hand which has you quickly take it in excitement.
You both start walking and you couldn't help but to smile into your scarf at the fact that your stoic boyfriend who never attends anything festive would go to a festival for you. You look up at him while walking and he notices and stops to look down at you. "Is there something wrong?" he asks. You shake your head lightly as you grin at him. "I'm just glad you're coming with me. I know you probably didn't want to." His face unchanged, he shakes his head and lightly tucks a strand of your hair away from your face. "I like whatever makes you happy." This gets you to smile wider as you continue to walk while lightly swinging your arms.
You arrive at the festival and your eyes widen in immediate happiness. The Christmas lights twinkle luminously with various colors and patterns and the streets are crowded with people laughing and singing with joy. A giant Christmas tree sits at the center decorated with ornate objects and paper wishes and your heart couldn't feel any warmer from the sight.
"Ushi, let's get hot coco first!" You say brightly as you point towards a hot cocoa stand. Ushijima nods as he takes your lead and offers to pay for your hot cocoa. The warmth from the cup brings comfort into your hand and you sigh at the richness of the chocolate. Ushijima takes a sip and closes his eyes, savoring the heat of the drink and letting it envelop his body.
You continue walking around with both your hands warmed up with your coco and Ushijima's hand and you couldn't feel happier. You both check out the petting zoo with a pony and tiny goats and the little shops that are selling aromatic candles that smell like holly, cinnamon, and clove. You buy some small things from these little shops as presents and souvenirs as Ushijima quietly follows you around.
Finally, you walk up to the tree while finishing your last drop of hot cocoa. "Ushi, let's write a wish together!" You turn to the olive haired volleyball player as he also finishes his drink. He nods and lets go of your hand to retrieve the paper ornaments and pencils. He comes back and you two are writing on the ornament and you slightly shield yours by turning away so he doesn't see what you're writing. You both finish writing and he puts his up and he helps you put yours up next to his.
You lean against his shoulder and wrap your arms around his bicep as you look up to see your ornaments hang. "Look at what I wrote," You say while pointing to it.
'I wish that Ushi and I can go to the winter festival together every year' is what it read and Ushijima had a small soft smile spread on his face. "I wrote a similar thing." he says and you look up to read his. 'I wish to come back again with Y/N every year.' You turn your head to look up at him and you open your mouth into a wide smile. "Really? You liked coming here with me?" He nods as he turns and faces you as his olive eyes warmly locked with yours. "I want to be wherever you are Y/N," Your face flushes and you look down at your hands fiddling with your scarf as you mumble into it "Why're you suddenly so mushy Ushi," You say still smiling. He takes his hand and lifts your chin gently and his face seems significantly closer to yours. "Am I not allowed to?" he responds back.
You stare at each other's eyes and then the clock bell rings and the area suddenly gets louder as people around start wishing 'Merry Christmas' to one another. You look back into his eyes and he suddenly leans in, pressing his lips gently against yours. Your eyes widen in surprise but you quickly respond back and close them.
The rich cocoa flavor mixed between you both as it still lingered in your mouths. The kiss warmed your faces and you both stayed there for a while with Ushijima's hand on your cheek and your hands holding onto his jacket. You both slowly pulled back and you couldn't contain your smile in which he reciprocated back with a rare one.
"Merry Christmas Ushi." You say with an eye-closing grin.
"Merry Christmas Y/N." He says with a thin smile as he leans back down for another kiss.

happy birthday to sawamura daichi
(happy early birthday to azumane asahi)
okay the question is, is it:
A) Daichi who follows Asahi around saying "back when I was your age" and describing what he did 4 and a half hours ago, or generally making a menace of himself being born "a whole year before you"
or is it B) Asahi that consistently over-formalizes his language towards Daichi because he "respects the elderly," or intentionally makes up slang and tells him he wouldn't "understand the youth,"
or is it C) Suga pretending he isn't annoyed that neither of them care that he's actually the oldest

Yandere Christmas Day 5: Sitting on Santa's Lap (Tendou Satori)
Warning: Non-consensual inappropriate/NSFW content, Tendou’s really effing creepy in this sorry
“Tell me what you want for Christmas!”
“This is humiliating, please…”
“Tell me what you want for Christmas, then.”
Tendou was dressed like a traditional Santa Claus in red-and-white, with a fluffy white beard on his chin. His pinprick red eyes don’t fit the cheerful Santa vibe he’s tried to go for, instead making you feel even more terrified as you squirm on his lap.
Tendou’s hand crawled up your thigh, causing goosebumps to erupt on your skin. You whined softly and the erection poking into your lower back throbbed in excitement.
“Fine…” you whispered, “I… I want…”
Tendou’s eyes widened, urging you to go on. You had no idea what to say, so you stalled for time, “I don’t even want a present for Christmas. That’s not what Christmas is about, right, Santa?”
“Every good girl gets a present,” Tendou supplied suggestively, “And if you don’t pick one, I’ll pick for you.”
You didn’t like the sound of that, so you spat out the first thing that came to mind, “A pony. I, uh, want a pony.”
Tendou was silent for a moment before he burst into hysterical laughter. Your face felt hot with embarrassment as he continued to laugh at your response.
“You’re so cute,” he cooed, squeezing your hips a little too hard, “I’ll get you anything your heart desires. A pony, hah!”
You nodded nervously, hoping he’d let you go, but he does no such thing.Instead, he leans into your neck, breath playing on your skin, “Why don’t I tell you what I want for Christmas now?”
