This is called "Hate In Half." Somebody wrote it in dreams.

Only the night has seen me awake at that hour...

And it has seen me in the obscene mothering of deep, undreaming sleep...

But I don't see anything. I'm just a bbygirl on fire in front of the capitol steps...

I've known desperation, so dank and damp, you couldn't fathom...

I'm lucky though. Somebody has sawed my hate in half...served it on chilled platters with peaches...

It is to be eaten only at night and put away when the hot, red Lamborghini of day speeds in...
