I always talk about her in OC post tags, but never show her off. Meet my Resident Evil OC, Christie Belle Silverheart! She's a double-agent like Ada (but less asshole-ish) and she's in love with Chris! Her memorable traits are her beauty mark under her eye and referring people to nicknames! When she met Chris, her nickname for him is Wonderbread. However, she has variations of nicknames for everyone. With Chris, when he's underground, he's called Moldy Bread. In the air, he's Flying Flour. Under water, he's Soggy Bread. When Chris is somewhere with a sniper, he's Toasty Wheat Thin. Chris is the only one to call Christie by her middle name. The only people that could do that is her late family that tragically passed in a zombie outbreak that took place some years before Raccoon City (and was swept under the rug because the city had a good black population). Chris' nickname for Christie is Beauty Mark because of the mark on her face and because well...she's beautiful.

Two fun facts about Christie: She's only left handed when it comes to playing instruments like the guitar and violin and when she's sniping. She's also super touch-starved without knowing it. It's why Chris gives her super long hugs and puts all his weight on her when they're sleeping.

1. Your first OC ever?

Tbh I don't remember my very first OC because that was when I was in my teenage years, but the first newer one that I actually drew is Honey! I drew her when I was getting back into art after I said fuck it because my high school art teacher was a pompous dickhead creep that yelled at me in front of everyone for starting to paint on accident instead of doing another step. I was supposed to have her be my Among Us OC with her last name being Pot and how she's frenemies with Pink Crewmate (and she knows who she is 💀). I should redraw her sometime!

ALMIRA "I WILL CUT A BITCH" NERI. I'M A RIDE OR DIE BITCH FOR HER. Like, her design is BEAUTIFUL. I love her lore! It's thorough as fuck and there's other original characters she interacts with that I have yet to know about. And I can do some world-building to intersect her lore and Dji'Vanah's lore!

I ADORE Sarai and Vampy OC from @luciferokisses! You have no IDEA how I had to BEG, PLEAD, CRY, AND THREATEN TO BREAK INTO HER HOUSE TO GET THEM OUT OF THE GODDAMN BASEMENT JUST TO EVEN LOOK AT THEM.

The pink-haired magical girl and the devilishly handsome catboy Otto by @princesseblade are faves of mine too. Especially Otto. I'd willingly let him ruin my credit score. I miss his fine ass. I'm really contemplating on begging and sobbing that I can commission her just to see Otto again 😭 And tbh, if she was okay with it, I'd just like to imagine shipping Otto with my other OC Taa-Laa.

My Mortal Kombat OC Dji'Vanah! Long story short, she's an Outworld assassin that out-classes Kitana, Jade, and Skarlet combined. She goes on a quest for vengance after the Brotherhood of Sin pilaged her home and killed her loved ones. She meets Hanzo and teams up with him on multiple missions before they fall in love! Dji'Vanah's important to me because even though Mortal Kombat and its characters and settings are already established, I really expanded my mind in worldbuilding. What are other regions of Outworld? Do they exist? Who are the citizens? What powers do they have? Did they get taken over by Shao Kahn? What of other factions? What about their cultures? There's so many questions that won't get answered unless you make them. And she's so well-designed that every single artist made her BEAUTIFUL and her hair is versitile! Not gonna lie, I'd wanna meet my Resident Evil OC Christie Belle Silverheart. Girl's a bad bitch but she's really just a softie that just wants to be protected. I'd ask for about art and ask her to teach me how to paint and self-defense. I'd also ask her if she can find somebody to hook me up with 💀

My Resident Evil OC Christie Belle Silverheart. At first, she was an un-named OC that was just a mere museum tour guide getting a bite to eat after work. She ends up meeting Carlos Oliveira after he saved her life. She's scared shitless but sticks with him and survives using his advice of survival tactics before they end up separating. The OC was on a train to leave before Carlos and Jill meet until shit popped off due to Nemesis fucking around. The OC then comes across a little girl (like how Sherry and Claire meet) and protects her from her parents that got infected from saving their child. The OC takes the girl with her and they survive by hot wiring a nice car and dipping about twenty minutes before the nuke is launched. The OC pretty much adopts the girl and they go back to living at her parents for the time being after having to travel almost across the country to get there. Then like two years later, after Carlos pinky-promised he wouldn't leave the OC in a cold, cruel, Carlos-less world, he coincidentally meets the OC and the kid after trying to lay low from what happened in Raccoon City. Then they really can delve in their feelings for each other. And all that got scrapped for what I got with Christie 💀

Christie resembles me more in the creative aspect. She LOVES doing art in many forms. It's just so much fun! 🥺

When Ji-Ji and Hanzo get married, do they have a traditional T'amanzan wedding or a Japanese one, or a mix of both?

When Ji-Ji and Hanzo get married, do they have a traditional T'Manzan wedding or a Japanese one, or a mix of both?

Honestly, I haven't thought about mixing them both in! At first, I was just envisioning a traditional Japanese wedding in the gardens with both Ji-Ji and Hanzo wearing traditional Japanese wedding garments. But if it was only a Japanese wedding, Hanzo would feel bad. Not only because older T'Manzan traditions were "wiped out" because of the Brotherhood of Sin, but because he felt like he was shutting out what little T'Manzan culture Dji'Vanah had left. That it wasn't worth being a part of. So he made sure there was both. So instead of wearing his traditional wedding garments, Hanzo went full OUT in T'Manzan wedding clothes. BUT, the pattern is in traditional Japanese style. The only challenge was getting certain charms in his hair. Mainly because they do have a little weight to them. The same for Dji'Vanah since she was wearing a traditional Japanese weddinv dress but with T'Manzan patterns. Her hair was completely done up in a traditional T'Manzan style and just ADORNED with ornaments from both cultures. It was probably the most beautiful wedding ANYONE to witness.

For Christie, does Christie invite Chris to see her perform? 👀

She does! But she's HELLA nervous about asking him to see her perform because she it's HER asking HIM. And she KNOWS that he'll be at her show. She's self-conscious about it because he was speechless when he heard her sing with some theatre singers in a diner he took her to. It was when they were waiting on some hot chocolate and cake that the singers were practicing close to them and their lead singer wasn't there with them. They were singing "When I Think of Home" from The Wizard of Oz (or the Wiz) and Christie just starts singing as Dorothy. It's funny that was said because Christie actually earned the role of Dorothy as a freshman in high school. She was the only freshman in Red Hills High School history to get that lead. But she never got her debut because of the invasion that happened the day before the show. Christie sang so effortlessly with so much power that EVERYONE was speechless before giving absolute applause. Chris was so blown away that he literally could not speak for two minutes. So if she can sing so powerfully without getting winded, imagine what she can do at a full SHOW? Of course Chris will accept her invitation to go. He felt honored to see Christie's full potential as a performer. Especially after experiencing a taste of what she can do in that moment at the diner. And knowing that she has a magnificent voice like that? And wants to sing to HIM? Chris would understand why every man would envy him.

1. Describe their typical wardrobe for a regular day.

Dji'Vanah: A simple Eurunian (the country she met her late husband in after she settled in it for a while before they knew each other) robe-like shirt with traditional shorts and sandals.

Christie: She's a fashionista so she'd wear casual cute skirts, blouses, dresses, you name it. She loves to look cute and feel good about it.

2. What is their favorite food and who cooks it best?

Dji'Vanah: Arroz con leche. Her late husband was good at it but Mira WASHES him. It's why Dji'Vanah carries new sweet spices for Mira to put into the treat. Hanzo does try to recreate Mira's recipe, but nobody can make it like her.

Christie: Chili. It doesn't matter what kind. Chicken, veggie, spicy, ANY kind of chili is her favorite. Mr. Samuel is the only one that cooks it best. Especially because he made it when he found her next to his dumpster beaten up and bloodied after she escaped from being trafficked. It was the only thing she could eat and stomach it.

3. How do they unwind after a long day?

Dji'Vanah: She does yoga! She loves to stretch everything and it makes her very flexible! It's very useful on missions when there are tight spaces and for when she gets Hanzo in a feisty mood 👀

Christie: She does painting! It's one of the legal methods of her making money and getting famous for in the shadows. She actually gets commissions from top dogs but they don't truly know her identity. They assume one of her friends in the light are her. Plus, it's just relaxing and really helped hone her craft!

4. What is their biggest fear? Most irrational?

Dji'Vanah: She has the fear of being swallowed by a giant animal. It happened several times when she was doing her missions. Only about two or three of them were bounties to do on the side while she was still hunting the members of the Brotherhood of Sin. A lot of these Outworld animals and giants tend to have really different digestive systems and some brave souls were never seen again. Dji'Vanah is blessed to be a quick thinker and agile because she really would've been food for those creatures. Especially with how it feels to be swallowed whole and feeling their insides and liquids covering her.

Christie: She's afraid to get overpowered and outsmarted. She was taken advantaged of when she was a teenager just some days to weeks fresh out of losing her family and home to the zombies and nuking of Red Hills years before Raccoon City had its turn. She was promised to get a better life only to find herself into human trafficking and was brutally assaulted by a man and his friends that she trusted. It's why she had to learn how to lie so elegantly and push herself over her limits. It's also why she doesn't allow anyone to be behind her. Not even Chris until way later. That trauma she endured as a teen is what she had to learn how to bury to keep herself from going insane while on missions. It's also why she panicked when two people outsmarted her before she could pop them. And even though Chris proved himself to be a good man to Christie, she was still afraid of him because he outsmarted her and had her almost completely defenseless. She didn't know if he'd really hurt her like those men did in her lifetime.

And lastly, is there anything new you've been meaning to share about them? Could be anything from a story tidbit to a headcanon. (:

Dji'Vanah: When T'Manzans get pregnant, on the day when conception is fully complete, their bodies float some feet above and their uteruses glow very brightly. The bright light is the color of their hair they're naturally born with. And during pregancy, their hair will either change texture or shade. They still have the common side effects of pregnancy but those two specific signs are guarantees of actual pregnancy. Many T'Manzans typically don't think about the hair texture and shade because being in different environments and seasonal changes can cause them. However, if one witnessed the bright light coming from their stomach while floating in mid air, there's no hiding that truth. That's the one tidbit that Dji'Vanah didn't tell Hanzo. He didn't know what to think when he saw her floating in mid air and glowing bright red in the middle of the night when he was dreaming.

Christie: After Christie saved Chris and the world (similar to Chris' ending in Resident Evil 6), she was able to escape in a pod but she must've gotten lucky because it would've been IMPOSSIBLE had she not gained speed from the virus injection or the wit she crafted over time. Unfortunately, the pods they were in went in opposite directions and she somehow floated all the way to the shores of Malaysia. But because of the shit that happened, she lost her memory. She didn't lose the languages she learned but she did have amnesia about who she was, her friends to a degree, and her past. But she did remember one person and one person only: Chris Redfield. She searched for the BSAA branch there and asked if she could get to Chris Redfield. Because if she did, he could tell her who she is and who those people are with very familiar faces.

Do you have any more ideas or thoughts for the Ji-ji hanzo kenshi love triangle? 👀👀

For Christie, what moment does she realize she is starting to catch feelings for Chris?

Ooooohhhhhhhhh we want DRAMAAAAAAAAAAAA 👁👁

SO. Hanzo knows that Kenshi has feelings after he spoke to Kenshi in private. But hearing that Kenshi wants to willingly take Dji'Vanah away from him, Hanzo promises that he won't back down from protecting her and WILL raise his blade against his friend. Even if he is Takeda's father.

But poor Ji-Ji doesn't realize that two men are fighting over her for her affection 😭 But she DOES realize some of the tension between the two. She could recognize their postures change by a hair when everyone is in the dining hall eating. She could see how neither one would acknowledge each other when they pass each other. Dji'Vanah would try to ask what their deal is but wouldn't get a solid answer. Yet she'd still try to spend time with them because she values their friendships respectively. Dji'Vanah does find herself in a pinch when Kenshi got himself a little too close to her face after he pinned her in a sparring match. And I'm talking Kenshi's lips just BRUSHING hers. And to add fuel to the fire? Three of the Shirai Ryu students, including Takeda, happened to come across them while they were taking a shortcut to get to the dining hall. And it went downhill from there. You can just IMAGINE the awkward silence and tension from the group. And it was something that couldn't he ignored. Soon there were whispers of rumors spreading within the temple. Those whispers were too loud for Hanzo to hear. It all came to a head when Ji-Ji felt so bad about the rumors that she was in silent tears when Hanzo retracted his arm to pull her close to go to sleep. And that's when Hanzo asked what happened about everything. Poor Ji-Ji was so afraid that Hanzo was angry with her and didn't love her anymore because of the rumors and because she was too embarrassed to tell him about Kenshi almost kissing her in front of his students. Especially because they both agreed to keep their relationship a secret from everyone. Hanzo's heart SHATTERED when he heard those teary words: "You don't love me anymore". And that caused him to be in tears. Hanzo was so busy trying to keep his anger from unleashing on Kenshi while trying to keep his students in check that he didn't realize how everything was affecting Dji'Vanah. He didn't realize how he was distancing himself from her and shutting her out. Especially when rumors reached his ears. Hanzo admitted to Dji'Vanah about why he and Kenshi were at odds. He told her how Kenshi was determined to steal her from him in any way he can. Even if it means raising blades against each other. But Hanzo didn't want to escalate the situation considering that Kenshi was his friend for many years and raised his son.

Hanzo gently held Dji'Vanah's face like she was made of glass. He apologized to her for not only keeping her in the dark about the situation, but shutting her out when she really needed him. Hanzo properly bowed in front of Dji'Vanah, asking her for his forgiveness. He couldn't help but sob when Dji'Vanah didn't want to hear him beg for her to forgive him. She only wanted to hear him tell her he loves her over and over again so she'll believe it. Hanzo took Dji'Vanah into his arms and cried. He declared his love for her every three seconds until they both let exhaustion take them into sleep.

That's what I can crank out so far for that 💀

For Christie, she first fell for Chris after she got in his way to retrieve a virus when they first met. He was just so cute trying to stop her and convince her to turn herself in so she wouldn't have to do this. It was a cute attempt but she was way too deep into the game to consider getting out of it. But she never realized that his plea was the seed planted to get her into wanting to see Chris again. To have him water that seed so it can blossom into a vine to pull her out of the game. From that point on, they had a little cat and mouse game that went on for a while like Ada and Leon. However, she ends up getting caught from Chris actually pulling the rug from under her at the very last second. Only two people in her lifetime outsmarted her ONCE before she got their asses. So she had more respect for Chris to not only outsmart her after all that time, but to go through such lengths to protect her under the guise of her being on house arrest. He meant what he said that he'd help her get out of the game. Even if it meant pulling some strings to do so.

She actually enjoys fishing! It's something she and Erron do to bond while Mira is working on some jewelry!

Dji'Vanah once caused a merchant to accidentally break his wrist. She just wasn't paying attention while trying to help the guy 😭 He wasn't angry at her at all! He felt so bad that Ji-Ji wouldn't stop apologizing for three weeks 😭

She can't stop watching stupid reality shows. Ever since Jacqui and Cassie introduced them to her, she was hooked despite saying how she didn't like how they were scripted or how people in the show acted towards one another.

She can out-drink ANYONE in Outworld. And I mean she can out-drink Mira, Erron, and Kano COMBINED. She just seems to have the stomach and liver of steel 💀

She doesn't like Dorito's chips in any flavor. The smell just keeps her away from wanting to try any 💀

Christie Belle Silverheart

She actually got the lead role of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz in high school! She was the only freshman to get a lead role in a big production in school history! Unfortunately, she wasn't able to do her first show because of the zombie invasion that happened a few days before her big debut 😞

She HATES rice cakes. Not even the flavored ones. The crunch isn't satisfying and the flavor just doesn't hit. But she'd still buy them for Chris when he gets a craving for them 💕

She used to have a black kitten named Noot-Noot! But because she was usually out a lot because of her work, she gave him to Mr. Samuel's friend whose daughter really wanted a kitty.

Christie actually DOESN'T like drinking. She just can't really rock with actual alcohol getting in the way of the taste. She tried to drink her problems away but stopped after the first two times because it was just too gross for her. She will drink a cup of flavored whiskey if she needs to on a mission.

Christie is actually far-sighted in her left eye and near-sighted in her right eye! It's also the reason why she handles snipers with her left hand. She'd get glasses but they'd keep falling off her face so she got specialty made contacts by well-made people underground. Her ex, Feng, was the one to pay for them when she jokingly asked. She really didn't think he'd do it 💀

🍓 Christie actually used to work in restaurants for periods of time! She'd do it when she had to drop off the radar or go undercover for her missions. She actually enjoys it! But they wouldn't last long obviously because she'd have to move to the next mission or because she cussed out asshole customers and bosses treating the employees like shit.

🍓 Every time Christie goes to the skating rink, she actually stays behind after closing to help clean up and lock up for the night. Aside for the same reason above, she does it as her way to spend time with her late brother because when they first got jobs into their teenage years, they worked at the skating rink locking up. It didn't last long obviously because of how young they were, but it's how they could talk to each other about school and their parents freely. She at least tries to honor his memory by cleaning up with the understaffed and always exploited employees at the rink. The employees even form their own bonds with her. And after Christie was able to bring Carlos and Jake skating, they both help her with cleaning up. It became their own little bonding tradition. She eventually influenced everyone to help out at the end and the employees at the skating rink were able to get home earlier in the night.

🍓 Christie's ultimate comfort foods are chili and ramen. She loves EVERY kind of chili on the planet. And her favorite kind of ramen is black garlic tonkatsu! And when she found out Chris could make chili? She has to practically BEG him to make some. Christie would even go as far as to continuously drop subtle and non-subtle hints that she wants chili until Chris gives in. Not that he didn't mind. But what really drives it home for Chris is seeing how Christie feels loved and protected in his home, being comfy in his clothes, and seeing her eat the chili he made. Especially when it's cold out. Chris is still working on learning how to make ramen though 👀
