Daniel Seavey Masterlist
♡ Welcome to my Daniel masterlist...the heart and soul of my blog...where you can travel from modern day Connecticut to WW1 England to 1950s LA and everything in between!! ♡ Comments are always incredibly appreciated and please feel free to send in questions or ideas or asks so I can write some blurbs and help keep these universes thriving! Most of my blurbs can be read as individual stories themselves and still make sense (but it’s more fun if you really immerse yourself into the universe first!) Happy reading!

king of hearts // christian seavey
Summary: Y/n, a police officer is assigned to question the notorious criminal, Christian Seavey. Little does she know, she’s in for more than an interrogation.
Warning: fake blood - (just in the image), mentions of crime, violence and murder; use of a gun (as a threat).
W/C: Approximately 1.21 K
“He refused to speak to anyone, but you, Sergeant,” y/n’s co-worker, Amy, explained.
Y/n and Amy stood in a closed room, holding a one-way mirror which revealed the criminal behind their case. Y/n turned from Amy to look through the glass, observing the criminal’s movements. He sat still, staring at his handcuffed wrists. Occasionally, he lifted his head to look at the mirror.
On his end, he could only see a reflection of himself.
“Keep both eyes open, he’s dangerous,” Amy warned.
Y/n nodded with a sigh and picked up the file on the table. She shuffled out of the room, shouting out a “Wish me luck!” before the door shut behind her.
Y/n pulled out her ID card, unlocking the door to the interrogation room as she stepped in. As the door opened, the man immediately looked up, his interest sparked.
“Sergeant y/n,” he grinned, “Pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
Y/n rolled her eyes and pulled out the chair in front of him sitting down. She opened the file, skimming through the contents.
“Christian Seavey, age 23. Two murders, one bank robbery and three cases of car theft and trespassing, each.” she looked up at the man across her who comfortably sat in his chair.
The tips of his lips tilted into an innocent smile, “That’s me.”
“I’ve been informed that you wouldn’t speak to anyone else.”
Christian nodded, “Yes ma’am.”
Y/n checked her watch before straightening her posture, and leaning her elbows onto the table, “Well, be my guest.”
Christian bowed his head slightly, “Thank you.”
It was silent for a moment, the two acquaintances observing each other, noting their body language and movements.
“So,” Christian broke the silence, “How are you, y/n?”
Y/n clenched her jaw, “It’s Sergeant y/n.”
Christian winced, “Sorry...Sergeant. Not much of a talker, hmm?”
Y/n tapped her fingers against the metal table, “We don’t have all day, stop beating around the bush. What are you here for Christian?”
Christian sighed, mimicking y/n’s posture as he leaned his arms against the table, “I don’t know, you tell me.”
“You were spotted on 6th Avenue, two days ago at 6:30 PM, running away from a scene.”
Christian smirked, “Never seen someone going on a run before?”
Y/n glared at him, “With a knife? And blood stains?”
Christian giggled, “Don’t you run with a knife and blood stains?”
Y/n’s neutral unmoving expression pushed Christian to back away, lifting his hands in defense, “It was a joke.”
Y/n sighed, “This isn’t a joke. You have an extensive criminal record and are suspect to a murder.”
Christian grinned, “Didn’t they already solve that one?”
Y/n clenched her teeth, “Yes, but you got out and here we are.”
Christian leaned back, satisfied from the response he pulled from y/n.
“What’s the point in calling me here if you aren’t going to get to the point?”
Christian glanced past y/n at the mirror, “I asked to see you.”
“And? You got that.”
He tisked, “Your coworker is watching us.”
“It’s standard procedure.”
Christian licked his drying lips, “Fine then, have it your way.”
He looked back down at his wrists, like the handcuffs were the most interesting items in the room. A static from y/n’s walkie talkie alerted her and she pulled it out.
“It’s your call, Sergeant,” Amy spoke through the line.
“Let’s give him what he wants,” y/n looked Christian in the eye, “I need answers.”
Amy responded back before the sound of a door shut was closing. Christian watched as the mirror merged into a transparent glass, showing an empty room. He smiled at y/n.
Y/n sighed, flipping through the pages of his file, “Now, that’s settled. Let’s get talking shall we?”
Y/n stopped at a page, which reported the events of the crime scene of focus.
“You have a pattern in the way you work, Seavey.”
Christian grinned, “Is that so?”
“You always leave behind a clue, a card. The King of Hearts,” y/n pulled out a paper of photographs, placing it onto the table and sliding it towards Christian. Christian admired the photographs, captures of his signature card in different crime settings.
“There’s just one thing I haven’t figured out, just yet.”
Christian looked up, puffing a gust of air as a strand of his untamed hair fell onto his face.
“Why? Why all of this when you have so much? You have the money, the experience, the skill for so much more. What’s your intention, Seavey?”
Christian grinned, “I was waiting for that question. Why?”
He looked down at his handcuffed wrists, playing with the chain.
“Everyone’s addicted to something,” he began. “Kids these days can’t get off the screen, some people are addicted to alcohol, drugs.”
Y/n pulled out a pen, twisting it in her fingers, “What are you addicted to?”, she asked.
Christian looked up, a ghost of a smile on his face, “I like playing games.”
Y/n nodded, “What kind? You into Call of Duty? Racing games?”
Christian smirked in response, an underlying sinister meaning behind his expression, “No, not those kinds of games.”
Y/n sat up in her chair, curiosity sparking her next question, “Then what kind of games do you play?”
Christian’s smirk grew wider, as he displayed his wrists, free of the handcuffs, “The kind that gets you into trouble.”
Y/n immediately stood up, in sync with Christian, their metal chairs scraping across the floor. She pulled out her gun, pointing it straight at him, “Hands up.”
Christian lifted his hands slowly, laughing quietly. His hands flashed forward, hitting y/n’s elbow and allowing him to yank the gun out of her hands. He twisted it around, aiming it at her, “Ladies first.”
Christian eyed y/n’s hand as it gently brushed the table, reaching for the walkie talkie. “If you even do so much as think about touching that, it will be the last thing you’ll ever do.”
Y/n smiled, “Who said I was?”. Her fingers gripped onto a hidden pistol under the table and pulled it out, pointing it at Christian.
They remained unmoving, silently, face to face, their weapons pointing at each other, centimetres away from death.
“Put the gun down, Sergeant,” Christian spoke steadily.
Y/n gripped the gun with both hands, “You first.”
Christian sighed, “You and I both know, I’m the more experienced shooter. I could do this all day.”
Y/n remained silent, her fingers pulled the trigger.
Christian smirked, unphased, “How’s your friend, y/fr/n? I heard they’re in the hospital.”
Y/n faltered, glaring at him.
“Avenue Hospital? Near the middle of the city?”
“Stop.”
“Room 374, right?”
“If you even think about hurting them, it will be the last thing you ever do.”
“Follow my orders or start planning your friend’s funeral, the choice is yours,” he grinned cynically.
Y/n hesitated before gently lowering her gun, placing it on the table. The loud clang of the metal hitting the table resonated through the room. She lifted her hands up.
“Good. Now,” Christian gestured the gun towards the door, “Let’s get out of here, shall we?”

Hey love!
Hope you’re doing good.
I have cute idea where y/n is having a bad day then she goes to Daniel house and she ask Christian where is Daniel he tells her he is in the studio and Daniel was live on ig but y/n thought he playing piano and recording himself so she sat on his lap , he panicked because they were still a secret and he wanted his relationship private.
I hope that’s not to crazy
Hey! I’m doing great and I hope you are too. thanks for requesting!
Secret Relationship (d.s)
a/n: k just pretend that the background of that photo is the studio lol. I will most likely do a little pt.2 for another request I got:) if you want other scenarios or anything let me know cos this was fun lol. enjoy!
It was fair to say Y/n was having a bad day. The morning rose and fell as quickly as the leaves fell from the autumn trees outside, but once it was time for the sun to descend, the hours couldn’t have inched past any slower, crawling in one by one as she worked quietly behind the wooden desk after school.
It was 4:56pm when she glimpsed over at her lock screen to realise, she had an hour left before the library would close for the day. The school building was quiet at that hour. Most people were revelling in the joys and relief the weekend had graciously brought and only the janitor was seen wiping down the windows in the distance.
She could barely keep her eyes open as she wrote down the last of her notes. Her fingers ached after scrolling through the pages...and documents...and slides on her laptop and her brain went practically numb from all the letters and numbers she’d stared at. The unsteady pile of books beside her was not helping either. All those thoughts of work had her craving her boyfriend’s presence. She just wanted one of Daniel’s hugs at that point. The warmth of his strong arms wrapped around her and the comforting beating of his tender heart right against her ear. Every aspect of Daniel’s affection was practically engrained in her mind. The thought of being with him squirmed in the back of her mind, tugging at her heartstrings until she finally sighed and closed her books. She tucked her belongings into her backpack and made her way out of the library - after giving the quiet librarian a wave - and across the campus.
Y/n found herself standing behind the Seavey’s front door. She knocked a couple times and heard the door handle rattle after a moment. Christian slowly came into view as the door creaked open.
Y/n cracked a gentle smile. “Hey, Y/n,” Christian moved to the side to let her walk through. “How’re you doing?”
“I’m okay, thanks for asking.” She replied. “And you?”
Christian noticed how Y/n’s shoulders slumped as she walked and the subtle frown playing at her lips, but he kept his thoughts to himself. “I’m great, just finished a self-tape.” He sat on the couch nearby.
“That’s great.” Y/n yawned. She’d come over to the Seavey’s house many times before so making herself comfortable was never an issue. Her blanket was tossed in the corner of the sofa, and she reached an arm to pull it towards her. Christian chuckled lightly as she plunked herself down and closed her eyes. The quiet of the home allowed her to enjoy some well-deserved rest. Only some, because in minutes Kobe was scampering down the hall and jumping into Y/n’s arms.
“Oh my God!” Y/n lifted herself up again and pet the excited dog as he licked her. She turned towards Christian again with Kobe shuffling further into her chest. “Is Daniel home?”
Christian looked up from his phone. “Yeah, in the studio.”
Y/n sent him a quiet ‘thank you’ before she was jumping out of her seat and rushing outside, across the patio. Kobe was quick at her heels.
Y/n had slowed down once she reached the door. She pressed her ear against the cold surface and listened in. The faint sounds of Daniel’s piano playing had sailed along the studio and seeped through the small gaps of the door, dancing with the steady breeze.
The soft, bell-like melodies emitting from the piano had smeared an unmistakable grin on Y/n’s face and she let her hands twist the doorknob quietly to not send Daniel out of his playing. She could sense his happiness from a mile away and today was no different. He was doing the very thing he loved after all.
The heart fluttering sight of him in an oversized, grey hoodie had her shoulders untensing and her face softening. “Hi,” She greeted. She trudged over and rested her palms on his shoulders from behind. His phone leaned against the music rack, with comments and questions gradually moving upwards beside little floating hearts. The live Instagram broadcast on his phone remained totally invisible to the young, tired girl. Daniel was hardly able to utter a warning before she draped her legs across his thighs to sit on his lap.
He couldn’t contain his nervous giggles as she hung her arms over his shoulders, “Hey, b-...Y/n.”
“Hi,” Y/n replied. She nestled her head into his chest and even clutched Daniel’s arms to rest around her waist. The Instagram live played on as the young couple rested together on the bench. Daniel kept his arms wrapped tightly around his girlfriend despite his heart’s intense beating.
He looked towards his phone screen again. “She’s just giving me a hug.” He reassured the viewers the best he could. He knew no one was buying it though. The comments were brimming with heart-eye emojis or excited comments in all caps.
Daniel peered down at his girlfriend, tucked comfortably and unbothered in his arms. “Just a really long hug.” He nodded towards the screen again.
Y/n went out like a light. She was perfectly content cradled in her boyfriend’s loving embrace, already drifting into a peaceful drea-
“Y/n.” A sweat broke over Daniel’s forehead. He snatched sneaky glances towards his phone before trying again, “Y/n!” He whispered sharply through the warm toned room.
“What?” Y/n mumbled quietly. She rubbed her eyes to spread her consciousness further.
“People are watching.” Daniel jerked his head towards the phone screen in front of them.
Y/n snapped her head to look at his phone propped up against the music stand. “Oh! Ri-right.” She shifted off Daniel’s lap quickly. He tried to wear a smile for the audience in his phone that were very much engrossed in the situation. Y/n dropped her gaze to the floor and picked at her nails. “I’m just...” She flung her arm to gesture towards the door, “gonna go.” Y/n’s nervous words were barely heard through the room and Daniel’s expression faltered as he watched her stride off for the living room without a second glance.
He felt terrible. He fought the urge to run after her and make sure she was okay, merely spinning back around to face the screen. “Okay,” he said breathily, pressing the keys harshly to produce a muddled mess of notes. He didn’t feel like playing anymore.
---
Daniel dragged his feet out of the studio towards the living room. He noticed Y/n sitting on the couch during the rest of his livestream and desperately wanted to make sure she was okay. Outside, the sunset bloomed beautifully, setting the sky ablaze with soft colours as Kobe played quietly on the patio. He ran towards the main house as Daniel slid open the door.
Y/n gave him a quick upward glimpse before lowering her eyes again. But then she looked up again, noticing his usual soothing smile replaced with a long frown. “You okay?” She asked softly.
Daniel fell back onto the sofa with a deep huff before glancing at her. “No. I’m sorry you had to leave like that.”
Y/n chuckled, “It’s okay.” She shuffled closer to him. Her body was angled slightly towards his and she dragged an arm to rest across his shoulders. Daniel moved to rest in between her crossed legs, and he rested his head on her chest. “We both want our relationship to be private, so...it’s okay.” Y/n consoled with a giggle. “I think your fans are suspicious now though.” She let a smirk tug at the corner of her lips. Daniel raised his eyes to meet her sparkly eyes.
“Oh, they’re definitely suspicious now.” Daniel took her hand away from his shoulder and entwined their fingers in a loose grip to kiss her knuckles. He cupped her face with his other hand and kissed her lips strongly. Y/n sighed pleasantly into it, finally feeling that relief she’d been waiting for all day. That reassuring affection that pulled her into a wave of warmth and comfort. They silently enjoyed the love that danced through their bodies and in between them for a few long moments.
Daniel pulled back and intertwined their fingers again. “It won’t be like this forever, Y/n.”

Hello! I hope this is okay to ask, but if I were to write about a character who mushes as a large part of their lifestyle, are there any things you would want to see showcased? Small details, or broader scope stuff that's important? ;; I want to make sure I get info from multiple sources, and not just Google / YouTube interviews!,,,
As a musher I'd love to see some actual accuracy when it comes to mushing itself (how the sled turns, the way the musher should shift themself. As a fellow writer I'd highly recommend watching lots of musher interviews and how to videos on youtube to get a better understanding). It's frustrating when media has the musher just like...standing there.
Other things to consider is: what kind of dogs your musher has and what kind of dogs SHOULD they have depending on the time period of the story. Do they do long distance mushing? Survivalist mushing? They're going to want a dog with longer hair and the ability to trot day in and out. Are they mushing fast? A lighter, shorter haired dog that sprint well is needed. For me, as a hobby dog historian (lol), getting the dog types used accurate to their time period is my pet peeve in modern media.
Historically if your musher is white and Canadian they can use dog sleds as early as the early 1700s-early 1800s. They are very likely male and very likely a Christian Missionary. They probably speak French. They probably carry a whip and use that on their dogs. The dogs are either Inuit sled dogs (a large arctic freight dog) or Siwash dogs (a thinner, smaller dog best used in forested areas). HERE is a good collection of historical dog descriptions in early Canada.
If you want your musher to use Siberian Huskies these dogs did not become prominent until after 1909 and were mostly seen in Alaska. Your mushers have experienced the gold rush if white. In this era you will also see lots of non-native/non sled breeds used to haul sleds. Gold Rush communities used every and any dog capable. This led to a decline in native dogs.
If your musher is Indigenous and Greenlandic they'll use Greenland Dogs. If your musher is Indigenous and Eastern Canadian they use Canadian Inuit Dogs (aka Canadian Eskimo Dogs). Both of these groups of Inuit use what is known as a "fan hitch" formation to attach their dogs. And their sleds are much different than the typically seen 'basket sled' everybody imagines. If your musher is Indigenous and has lived through the 1970s they have experienced the Dog Culls the RCMP did during that era, something that is still considered a big source of trauma today. The dogs are also rare, and precious.
If you're in Alaska in the somewhat modern era there's a lot of historical record you can easily pull from as written record and photography becomes a lot more clear at this time. Most people in Alaska, both white, native, and otherwise use Alaskan Huskies, a type of landrace, purpose bred dog that is somewhat smaller and less standardized in its look than what we typically think of when we hear "sled dogs". They can have coats of pretty much any color, floppy ears, pointy ears. It doesn't mater as long as they can run and pull.
When talking from a survival/homestead use of dogs one must also think about: how are the dogs fed (many people dry fish for their dogs in this scenario), what survival equipment is packed in ones sled. HERE Dallas Seavey describes what he carries with him during Iditarod. The Nat Geo show, Life Below Zero, is also a good way to get into the day to day life of homesteaders, dog mushers and generally the different way arctic survivalists live. HERE is a clip from the show where they talk about choosing dogs for different roles and summer tasks.
#faq#dog sledding#sled dogs#dog history#history dog#historical dog#i am still working on the post exploring the history of sled dogs and white people and sled dogs and indigenous people#and those differences#so keep an eye out for that

emotional period - a daniel seavey short
Periods suck. Especially when you are full of emotions...
I roll over to Daniel’s side of the bed only to feel nothing but fresh air. I groan and slowly sit up in bed. I walk into the bathroom and notice the period acne and the dark circles under my eyes.
“Morning Y/N! How did you- hey you okay? You don’t look too good”, Christian asks, studying my zombified face.
When I didn’t reply, Christian immediately calls Keri who comes racing from her bedroom to the kitchen. Studying my face, she takes me back to Daniel’s room and tucks me back into bed.
“Period?” she whispers and I immediately break down.
She pulls me in for a hug and it felt really nice that she took the time to care for me. I watch as she pulls out her phone to call Anna. Not even 5 minutes later, Anna comes bursting into the room with junk food, cupcakes, wax strips, pore strips and face masks.
“Did someone say spa day?!” she screams and a smile appeared on my face.
The next couple of hours were spent eating and taking photos of our spa day. It honestly felt so good and so needed. The fact that Keri and Anna were willing to spend the day with me while Daniel was out with the Why Don’t We guys was the best.
~LATER THAT DAY~
Spa day ended a couple of hours ago and Daniel is still not back. The rest of the Seavey family had other plans that they were going to cancel but I told them that I’d be fine and call them if I needed anything. I decide to put on a movie and warm up some of the food that Anna brought for the spa day.
Let’s just say that Disney movies aren’t the best to watch when you’re on your period. I spent the whole movie crying until I could no more. The credits roll and I walk into the bathroom to clean up. As I go to wipe the dried-up mascara from my cheeks, the bedroom door opens and I knew exactly who it was. Shit! He can’t see me like this! I look like a mess!
“Princess, where are you?” Daniel’s tired voice echoes through the room.
He notices the light from the bathroom and walks over, but not before stepping on a tissue full of my tears. He takes 2 big strides and peeks around the corner to find me wiping my tear-stained cheeks.
“Baby? You okay? What’s wrong?” he asks. And that’s when more tears came.
“Awww princess! C’mere”, he pulls me into his embrace as I sob into his chest.
“He died, Daniel!” I sob to my boyfriend.
“Who died?” he asks.
“The main character in the movie!” I tell him and he holds back a laugh.
“Oh I’m sorry, angel!” he says trying so hard not to laugh.
“He didn’t deserve to die, Daniel! Like, imagine if you were his family! His little siblings, his parents, his friends! He didn’t want to die but he did! And… and…”
My rambling crumbled as I broke down in Daniel’s arms.
“I’m sorry, princess”, Daniel laughs.
“Why are you laughing?! You have no heart!” I sob to him and he laughs even more.
“I’m not laughing at that, sweetheart. I’m laughing at how emotional you are over some stupid movie!” he says and I look at him in shock. He didn’t get it.
“DANIEL I’M ON MY PERIOD! THAT’S WHY I’M SO EMOTIONAL!!!” I yell at him before hiding my face in his chest.
“Oh, baby! I’m sorry! I forgot that you get emotional over Disney movies while you’re on your period! I’m sorry!” he mumbles into my hair before placing a kiss on my scalp.
He pulls away from the hug and I whine at the loss of contact. He turns on the tap of the bathtub and fills it with water. He puts a lavender bath bomb in the water and the smell is amazing and makes me relaxed. I go to take my shirt off when Daniel stops me.
“Let me take care of you, angel” he whispers as he takes the shirt off for me. Such a gentleman!
Daniel takes my hand and helps me into the tub before hopping in himself. I sink into his chest and let the lavender scent take over.
“Feel better, baby?” Daniel asks and I nod in satisfaction.
“So much better! Thank you, bub”, I reply and place a soft kiss on his lips.
After some time, we hop out and dry off. Daniel walks out to the closet to grab some pyjamas. He comes back in with one of his oversized t-shirts and pyjama pants. We change and he picks me up bridal style and walks out of the bathroom.
He gently places me on the bed, tucking me in. He leaves the bedroom to make tea and to bring in Tylenol to help with my cramps so I can sleep well. He comes back in and I thank him. He walks to his side of the bed and hops in.
“All good, angel?” he whispers, placing a kiss on my cheek.
“Yes! Thank you, baby”.
He apologises for missing out on the whole day but after I told him what happened, the biggest smile appeared on his face.
“I love your family! They’re the best!” I gush at him and his smile grew even bigger.
“And they all love you too”, he says before giving me the sweetest kiss.
“Daniel…” I whisper into his chest.
“Yes, princess?”
“I love you so much” I softly whimper, stray tears falling from my eyes
“I love you too. Are you crying? Don’t cry baby” he coos but it just makes me cry even more.
“I’m sorry Dani”, I pout.
“Why are you sorry?”
“Because I’m such a baby when I’m on my period”, I mumble in his arms.
“Awww you’re my baby though” he giggles.
The night was spent with Daniel whispering sweet compliments in my ear accompanied by sleepy cuddles and soft kisses. We ended up falling asleep in each other’s arms and to top it off, I’m as happy as I can be, especially being cuddled up in the arms of the Daniel James Seavey.

learning to raise a baby ~ daniel seavey
requested: yes:)
Can you please do an cute imagine about y/n and Daniel having a baby together and taking care of the baby and figuring the parenting stuff out together. Ur amazing
summary: follow a few different events in the life of daniel and y/n learning to raise a baby.
warning(s): baby, literally too lazy to edit this i’ll come back later lmao
word count: 2608
author’s note: i have such baby fever omg
disclaimer: i def need to clarify that i am 18 years old and do not have a baby and i have no close friends with babies (in person, at least) therefore this is purely fiction. i watch a LOT (i mean A LOT) of family vloggers and like teen mom accounts raising their kids, so basically all of my knowledge comes from that. i hope no one takes offence to my depiction of it, but my intention is purely just to write this cute fic idea, and i don’t want to pretend like i know anything about parenting or raising a child or anything like that!! okay that’s all!!
I could barely see my feet as I painfully took in another breath of air and started walking forward. Awoken at 3am with terrible back pain and a pool of amniotic fluid at my waist, Daniel and I now rushed to grab our hospital bag and make our way to the labor and delivery section of our nearest hospital.
everything went so fast. before i was actively having a child, it felt like my pregnancy would never end, but now that it’s actually happening and i’m having a child, it felt like pregnancy flew by.
just a few days ago, i was sitting on the countertop in my bathroom, impatiently waiting to see if i was pregnant or not in hopes that daniel wouldn’t get home from the studio early and find me. i had just given daniel the surprise of his lifetime when i woke him up at four am to tell him i was pregnant because i just couldn’t keep it from him anymore to do a fun reveal. i remember how we both cried, too excited to even go back to sleep.
just a few days ago, daniel and i were sitting in my obstetrician’s office as we got to hear our eight week old fetus’ heartbeat for the first time. we both cried. it feels like just a day or two ago we cut into a pink colored cake and found out that our precious baby girl would be coming. all of the breakdowns about what stroller to buy and which crib matches the nursey best felt like just moments ago. and now, all of a sudden, i’m ten hours into labor and i’m ready to push.
pushing was painful, but the thought of holding a sweet babygirl soon just kept me going. daniel squeezed my hand tight, standing by the end of the bed watching our beautiful daughter make her way into the world.
i gave the final push and soon i heard a cry that made everything in the whole world worth it. they say you never truly understand love until you’ve had a child, and as soon as i held our daughter, i felt an overwhelming sense of truth in that statement. i never knew such a distinct moment could be the greatest day of my life, but as soon as i laid my eyes on her, i knew that i would never get a day greater than this one.
our daughter laid on my chest for a while as daniel sat by my head, holding both my hand and hers. eventually, the nurses cleaned her off a bit and wrapped her tightly in a swaddle for daniel to finally hold his daughter. i watched the tears fall from his bluer than ever eyes that never left her little face. by the way she settled in his arms and fell asleep, i knew i was going to have a daddy’s little girl on our hands.
it felt like forever, just watching daniel and our baby getting to know each other. soon enough, though, the doctors finished with the stitches and i heard a knock at the door.
within seconds, both of our parents came into the room, bearing wide smiles. daniel sat in the seat next to me, both of us staring at the beautiful baby in front of us.
“does she have a name?” keri asks, slowly walking up to the two of us, careful not to be too loud.
daniel and i look at each other, and then i give him the nod to tell everyone. “callista avery mae seavey.”
“our little baby callie.” i smile at the name. daniel and i both loved the name callie, but wanted it to be a nickname. avery was after his bandmate who really helped us through this whole preparing to be parents thing. mae was a pretty nickname from my side of the family that was good to separate avery and seavey. our little callie mae.
***
it was three am and both of us were awake to callie’s loud screaming. turns out that daniel and i had a very colicky daughter who, when awake, wanted to scream at the top of her lungs. daniel was in the nursery trying to grab more diapers and wipes that, out of exhaustion, we forgot to restock last night when we ran out. i held callie in our arms, rocking her gently and trying to get her to go back to sleep.
“does she have a dirty diaper?” daniel asks, placing the diapers in the corner of our messy bedroom. a few days into callie’s life, we realized we should’ve left the changing table in our bedroom until she was ready to sleep in the nursey, but both of us were too tired to even think about moving the furniture around. so for now the corner of the room was storage and a changing pad on the bench was our late night changing table.
“i don’t think so.” i answer, giving him an exhausted look. “her diaper isn’t heavy and i tried to feed her, but she doesn’t seem to be hungry. i think she just woke up and is being colicky again.”
“how long did the doctor say the colic will last?” daniel asks.
“she didn’t.” i sigh, going to take a seat on our bed as i continued to calm callie. daniel sat beside me. “go back to sleep, i got her.”
“no, i know you’ve been awake all night. try to go to sleep, i’ve got her.” daniel says, and then takes callie from me. “did you take melatonin tonight?”
“yeah.” i say. “i know your body goes through a lot of changes postpartum, but i’m really not liking the insomnia.”
“okay, well, you lay down, and i’m gonna sing to you both, okay?” daniel says and then starts to rock callie to sleep as i laid beside them. and then he started to sing softly.
***
callie was born a little over three months ago and daniel and i haven’t had a date night since then. when we fearfully realized that last week, jack and anna were both quick to offer some help. we hadn’t felt comfortable leaving callie yet, especially since she wasn’t always the easiest. we had lots of help and people offering, but neither daniel nor i were good at asking for help. that’s definitely something we’re both still working on, especially now that we have a baby.
finally though, jack and anna convinced us. originally, we were going to leave them with daniel’s parents, but anna and jack were pretty convincing. jack had lots of experience since he himself is a dad, and anna was very close with gabbie when she had lavender. jack also decided to invite zach for some more company, which was cute.
daniel and i had a hard time saying goodbye to callie, even though we really were only going to be out for two hours at most. we knew neither of us could stay away for that long.
the restaurant wasn’t too far from the house, which was nice because it cut down on our time away from callie. i think both of us were a little nervous to leave her. we both know that she’s three months old and other people are more than capable of watching her for a few hours, but it’s still hard to not be worried about all of the things we could be missing out on.
“oh my gosh, anna just sent a picture of callie.” daniel says in the middle of our dinner, holding up his phone to show up me the picture of our daughter in the adorable pajamas her aunt bought.
“i miss her.” i admit, knowing he was feeling similarly. “do you think they had a hard time getting her to sleep? i hope she’ll be good for them tonight.”
“i’m sure she was fine.” daniel says, then later . “you know, maybe we should skip dessert. relieve them a little early.”
“she’s growing up so fast.” i tell him. “i’m not ready for her to keep growing.”
“we’re gonna blink and she’s gonna be cursing us out because we wouldn’t let her go out with her friends.” daniel continues. “not that we would do that, because honestly, i’ve always thought we’d be a little cooler than that.”
i laugh at his comment. “oh, we’ll definitely be cooler than that. we’re not gonna be the lame strict parents that doesn’t let their kids go out with their friends.”
“oh definitely.” daniel agrees. “except i will be strict about doors open if someone is over. i don’t care who she’s in her room with, but that door better be open. i am taking no chances.”
“i feel like that’s fair.” i add. “i know we’re parents, but wow, until i think about that future, i kind of forget.”
“i’m very glad that’s a long ways away.” he comments. “i’m barely ready for her to be three months old, we do not need to get ahead of ourselves. take this parenting thing one step at a time.”
“i could not agree more.” i smile, leaning over the table to kiss daniel’s lips gently.
***
i walked out of my one year old’s nursery with her in my arms. we watched as daniel and anna hung balloons up around our california apartment. it’s just about an hour before callie’s first birthday party, and now more than ever, i could not be more grateful for daniel’s family’s offer to help us set up.
rather than fighting with figuring out food for the party, we decided to get it catered. christian and tyler offered to go pick up the food at the restaurant for us, which was extremely helpful. his parents were setting up some decorations around the front of the apartment.
i had just put callie in her adorable dress that i specifically picked out for this party. we weren’t the type to throw parties, so we weren’t 100% sure what to do or what to expect, but we decided to just stick to family and close friends. callie was too young for us to strictly invite her friends over. at this stage in her life, her friends were whoever was at mommy&me that week.
the party was going to be small. daniel’s family, my family, daniel’s bandmates and close friends, and then my close friends.
thankfully, we finished decorating and setting up with about thirty minutes left to spare before the party. rather than worry, i decided to just sit on the couch with anna and daniel. keri took callie from me, wanting to spend some time with her granddaughter, and giving daniel and i a brief break before the party started.
“i cannot believe she’s a year old.” anna exclaims to me. “you guys have been parents for a year. that’s crazy to think about.”
“it’s definitely a little bit weird.” i giggle in response.
“you guys make it look so easy, being young parents.” anna says. “i know i’m younger than you guys, but still, i cannot imagine having a kid anytime soon.”
“i didn’t think i would either.” i tell anna. “for me, i wasn’t really ready until i met dani. i realized that i was ready because i wanted to do this with him. it’s different for everyone, i’m sure, but at least personally, that’s how i knew we could be parents.”
daniel wraps his arm around me on the couch, kissing my cheek softly. “yeah, it’s the same for me. when you find someone you want to do everything with, it gets easier to imagine yourself parenting together.”
“that is really cute.” anna says. “this is what i mean, when i say you make it look easy!!”
“it’s definitely not easy.” i laugh. “but it’s a little bit easier when you work as a team. we talk things through and decide together, instead of just making decisions separately. it’s a lot easier to feel like you’re making the right decision when you talk things through.”
“and that is all the parenting advice you get, because while i am most definitely ready to be a dad, i am not ready to be an uncle.” daniel says, getting protective over his younger sister.
“being an uncle is way easier than being a dad.” anna laughs. “but trust me, i’m not having kids any time soon. at least not intentionally.”
“well, i have to be the cool uncle. someone’s gotta bail the kid out of jail and hide it from you.” daniel jokes.
“first of all, why would my kid go to jail??” anna asks. “and second of all, you might’ve been first in the race for cool uncle before callie arrived, but since becoming a dad, you’ve fallen behind. the cool uncle can’t have kids, that’s not how that works.”
“well i’ll break that standard, because i’ll be the cool uncle.”
“i just want to be the aunt that gives good advice at one o’clock in the morning.” i tell them. “someone’s gotta do it. i expect that for callie, anna, so i will do that for your kids.”
“oh, of course. nothing but the best for callie. and future kids.” anna agrees. “speaking of, future kids? any thoughts on that? mom wants me to scope that out.”
“eventually.” i smile. “sooner rather than later.”
***
daniel took callie on a walk. he’s been really adamant about spending at least thirty minutes a day on a walk with her. now that she’s getting a lot more balance and ability to take a lot more steps, he loves taking her to the playground a few blocks from our apartment. usually, i like to go with them, but today i made up an excuse about things i had to get done at home.
i felt especially grateful for that routine of his today, because i needed a few minutes to myself. i’ve been feeling particularly nauseated recently, and as soon as i woke up the other day, i could feel that i was pregnant again. in the past, i had always thought that when i was paranoid about being late, but now that i’ve actually experienced pregnancy, i can feel that there’s a little fetus inside of me.
daniel and i haven’t exactly been trying, but we haven’t been taking as many precautions as we were when callie was first born. now that she’s over a year old, we feel better about having another baby. we weren’t too rushed, because we lot spending time with just our little girl, but we didn’t want to wait too long and have her grow up without a sibling. having a sibling was always a priority of daniel and i’s. seeing as we both grew up with siblings, we know how important it is to have a sibling.
my stomach fluttered with butterflies as i followed the instructions on the pregnancy test. after realizing i was pregnant with callie, i had bought a ton of tests that i didn’t end up using because it was so obvious that i was indeed pregnant. that was extremely helpful for right now when i don’t have time to go sit in traffic for thirty minutes just to go to the pharmacy.
i sat on top of the counter, leaving the pregnancy test face down while i tried to scroll through tiktok and distract myself. it was probably the slowest five minutes of my life, other than finding out about callie.
the timer went off on my phone. i take a deep breath and carefully lift the pregnancy test off the marble bathroom counter.
pregnant.

Hey Emily!
How are you doing? I hope you are doing well
I have a Christmas imagine request for Christian.if you can’t that’s alright
So basically y/n is starting to put up the Christmas decoration and asked Christian to come help her decorate the apartment and in between the decoration process they take breaks by drinking hot coco and dancing to Christmas song after they finish decorating they were starving so Christian went to get food and y/n was looking at their masterpiece but she noticed something was missing which was the MISTLETOE so she hanged it in front of the door and was texting Christian to see where he was so she can record when he comes back if he would notice after a while he would and you write the rest 🥺
Ik it’s too long but I hope it’s not to much
Love ya and ur writing
XOXO❤️
↳ A/N Aw thank you so much for this! For the ask and your kind words! I don’t often get Christian asks so I cherish the few that I do receive <3. Since you sent a general ‘y/n’ concept, I’ll just pick one of my universes to write it for if that’s okay with you – but don't worry it can be read and understood even without knowing any of my universes! This is as y/n as I can take it hehe

The apartment was filled with the cheery sound of Christmas music, laced with angelic jingle bells and soulful vocals, leaking into the hallway of the building under the thick wooden door. Christian was balancing skillfully on his tip toes, trying to neatly wrap the silver string lights around the small evergreen tree in the corner of the living room. The woman who stood just behind him was his most recent relationship – his life usually consisting of girlfriends being few and far between. Just a girl he had met while out with friends one night in the early autumn and hit it off and thus asked her out formally. They were taking it slowly but surely and there was no better time to spend together than decorating her apartment for quickly approaching Christmas season.
“I can’t believe I’m decorating so late this year.” she tisked as she watched him drape the lights over another branch for an even spread while she nursed her mug of hot chocolate in her hands.
Christian glanced over with a smile, “At least it’s not December yet.”
“True,” she admired his handiwork as he stepped back, “and your definitely have more of a knack for this stuff than me. This looks straight out of a magazine.”
Christian just smiled off her compliment as he lifted his own mug of hot chocolate from the coffee table, “Just missing the ornaments.”
“That box there.” she pointed with her toes that were hugged in thick woolen red socks. “Did your family always decorate early?”
“Early to mid November, yeah.” Christian spoke loudly over the new song that played with strong volume from the Bluetooth speaker set up on the table. “My younger brother and his wife and three daughters always come out here for the break so my parents aim to get everything done in time to spare. Then they just have to focus on the cooking for all of us and not the decorating.”
“Do I get to meet your nieces this year that you speak so highly about?”
Christian sent her a little teasing glare, “Only if you’re good.”
His girlfriend only curtsied dramatically, “Top of Santa’s nice list this year.”
“That’s debatable.” Christian hummed as he stepped closer to her.
His hands slid around her waist over the material of her winter sweater. She only smiled up at him, holding onto his arms sweetly as they moulded closer together as the Christmas songs wrapped them up in festive cheer. They shared a dance in the small living room overlooking the city of Vancouver, singing off key together just for the fun of it.
But as their hot chocolate cooled and the short day grew darker, their decorations were disappearing from their storage boxes and returned to their rightful places on the tree, shelves, and around the rooms. They both flopped back onto the couch together, apartment sent into silence by the music being turned off, and they took a moment to admire their handiwork.
“We make a good team.” his girlfriend smiled, curled up in his side as his arm was draped around her shoulders.
Christian nodded in agreement, “That we do.”
“I’m really hungry though.” she lolled her head to the side to look at him, “And I was going to make dinner for us but that sounds like far too much work.”
“Okay, I can pick up something.” Christian chuckled, stopping only to press a kiss to her temple before he was standing up from the couch with a tired groan.
“What a gentleman.” she grinned.
When he had left for the parking garage, she was left alone in her newly decorated apartment. Christian seemed to have an honest hand for that as even the star on top of the tree was perfectly aligned and sparkled beautifully. She circled the apartment to stack the empty storage boxes together to stuff back in the closet until spring when one missing piece caught her eye. Under a small pile of packing paper, a small green ball of faux foliage was poke out of the corner. When she lifted it out by its string, she recognized it as mistletoe.
With Christian out, this was her perfect chance to hang it in a place where a sprinkle of cheesy winter romance could blossom so she pushed over a kitchen chair and tied the mistletoe to the foyer’s light fixture.
Christian came back soon and she was waiting for him in the small foyer excitedly. He sent her a confused little smile when he closed the door behind him, arms claimed by the takeout bag and drinks, “Were you waiting for me by the door like a puppy?”
“Mm, maybe.” she shrugged sweetly.
“Why?” Christian dragged out the word a little in slight confusion as he met her in the middle.
His eyes followed hers as she looked up towards the light fixture and when he saw the new addition to their precise decorations, he looked back at her and bit back a smile.
“I see.” he said slowly.
“Mhm.” she smiled, clasping her hands behind her back to wait for him to make the first move.
“Well, we can’t go against the rules of Christmas, huh?”
“Of course not.”
“Of course not.” he repeated breathily before leaning in towards her over the takeout bags in his arms.
She met him halfway, raising up on her tiptoes slightly, and smiled into their kiss that lingered between them for a moment. His lips were icy from the cold outside air and hers were warm from the cozy apartment and they pushed together perfectly. After a few seconds a few soft chasté kisses, they pulled back with matching bashful grins.
“I hope you know,” Christian sighed, speaking in a whisper, “My niece is going to kill you for that.”

Roommates are fun sometimes
You had just moved to town and were searching for a place to live. You had asked your longtime friend Jc if you could stay with him and he agreed. “You know you can just live here right?” He asked. “I appreciate that but I don’t want to burden other people” you said while unloading your stuff from your car. “Here let me help” Jc said as he grabbed a box and carried it inside. Once everything was in your room Jc called a meeting. “I bet you are all confused as to why I called you here” he started. Quickly being cut off by a cute blue eyed dark haired boy. “Does it have anything to do with the very beautiful lady standing beside you” he said. “Yes, yes it does Christian” Jc said. You quickly made note of his name. “This is our new roommate for a bit” Jc said. “Hi I’m Y/N” you said everyone said hi. You spent the rest of the night getting to know everyone mainly focused on Christian. Oscar had made a joke and every one laughed. Later on in the night Brian suggested you guys film a video. You guys all jumped in on the idea. After a night of fun and laughter everyone decided to go to their rooms. You heard a knock on your door and went to open it. You were met with Crawford asking if he could help you put stuff away, the offer was quickly interrupted by Christian. “I wanna help her” he said. They playfully argued a bit before you cut it. “Boy boys boys! You both can help me” you said semi jokingly. The boys helped you put stuff away and get ready to relax a bit. The boys went to do what they do and you relaxed before falling asleep. I think I’m gonna like it here you thought as you drifted off to sleep.

moonlight pt.1 (d.s.)
a/n: hey, really hope you enjoy this, even though it says ‘pt.1′ you can read the parts on their own if you wish.
summary: Daniel and you have your first kiss. Pt.2, Pt.3
Your love was like the moon. It was eternal yet ever-changing. Sometimes dim, other times bright. And much like the faithful moon, love was always there through your relationship, the best, the worst and even the moments where it was hidden in the darkness.
Daniel hopped off the couch, tossing the blanket off his legs and he sent his brother an annoyed glare, to which he received an oblivious wide eyed stare, before he turned towards the foyer.
The sun descended below the horizon, soft yellows and pinks slowly draining out of the sky as the evening aged. You and Daniel slipped through the front door quietly, pinkies linked and hearts beating for the same desire your lips didn't dare to speak. Daniel was thinking in circles. His mind danced around the idea of finally kissing you, the electric buzz of initial contact, the softness of your lips. It was only something he dreamt of but now felt like the perfect time to make it a reality. Honestly, Daniel would’ve made it happen earlier in the night - having worked up his courage the whole day - but his brother’s interruption mid-way through the film stopped him.
“Tonight, was great.” Daniel smiled, biting his lower lip nervously. He looked towards your car perched on the curb ahead. It’s metal shell appeared glossy under the silver smile of subtle moonlight.
“It was.” You agreed, your eyes tracing each ribbon of dirt carved in the pavement of his front walkway.
“I hope my brother didn’t annoy you too badly.” He chuckled, a sense of embarrassment in his expression. “said he was going to be out tonight...” he scoffed under his breath.
“No, not at all.” You assured him. “It was cool having Christian there…talking every five minutes.” You giggled, rolling your eyes jokingly.
“I know,” He drawled, lolling his head back a little in the cool breeze. “That’s like the number one thing you don’t do during a movie.” His hand gripped yours tighter as he laughed for a moment, sending millions of butterflies to the already huge swarm in your stomach.
“If you want, we can watch another one if you want. It’s still early.” He said softly.
“That’s okay, I don’t want you to get sick of me just yet.” You sighed, dropping your gaze again. You stopped in front of him, leaning against the exterior of your car, your ankles crossed, and purse held timidly by your side.
“I could never get sick of you.” He spoke softly.
Quietness fell over the two of you. Daniel took a small step forward, your bodies now only centimetres apart so that you could smell the rustic fragrance of his cologne. You lifted your head, your eyes finding his in an instant, and neither of you broke the staring contest. Daniel’s gaze trailed wearily along every fragment of your expression, looking for the fondness and adoration that corresponded with his own. It felt like his eyes said what his mouth couldn’t, foreshadowing the long-anticipated kiss with an almost luring nature.
The crescent moon above reflected in the blue of his eyes. It was just a faint shimmer of white, but you noticed it well. And in yours, Daniel caught sight of a blurry, mirrored image of the darkening sunset sky. He noticed your quick downward glimpse at his lips, once and then twice. That very moment he felt more at ease than he had felt the whole night. No longer did he have to wobble on the edge of nervousness; intently studying your body language or the words tumbling from your lips.
Before you could flicker your gaze for a third glimpse of his mouth, Daniel leaned in. Second guessing and hesitation seemed too far to grasp. This was it. You let your own nerves yield under the delicate touch of his lips. His arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you against him, not too tightly, but just enough to feel the heat emanating from your body on the pleasant summer night. Your head angled to the side, a shaky hum seeping into the air from the tickle of goose-bumps trickling along your limbs. Finally, Daniel drew his head back, his relieved sigh breezing lightly over your face. You giggled ever so quietly, catching a glimmer of his toothy grin before he pecked your cheek.
“You sure you don’t want to stay?” He whispered with a furrowed brow, reaching up a hand to brush a lone strand of hair behind your ear.
You nodded.
Daniel followed behind as you walked to the driver's seat of your car. It was quiet except for the light swishing of grass with each footfall and the distant chirping of crickets in summertime nature, and he pulled the door open for you, a simple smile playing at his lips.
He lowered his head so he could look at you through the open window. “Call me when you get home.” He murmured.
“Of course.” You replied, feeling his warm lips on your cheek for a moment.
Daniel straightened his back and looked down at you. “Bye, Y/n”
Daniel stood by his nature strip right next to your car, lingering there from the moment the car ignition turned on until the moment your car reversed back onto the road. The wave you sent him perked up a grin on his lips, and he whispered goodbye one last time.

Tags: @seaveyliciouss bc you wanted daniel, and @bessonbear, @peachy-beachy-queen and @caswinchester2000 / @zachheroin bc yall wanted this story
You and Daniel starting dating when you were both in grade 12, and now you were finishing your second year of university while Daniel was touring with the boys. The last time you saw him was just after New Years, so it’s been a few months, but you understood what his job was and didn’t have a problem. You would FaceTime as often as you could, which would be almost every night, and you’d text throughout the day, sometimes one of you calling the other before the day finished because you missed each other’s voices.
Daniel had this weekend off and wanted to come visit you, but you told him not to because he deserved some rest and you didn’t want him to be more drained than you were sure he already was. Sure, you did want him to come, but you knew he should just be at home resting, plus you had a lot of studying to do for final exams coming up. And since you lived off campus with some friends, you probably wouldn’t be spending a lot of time at the house because you would get distracted easily, so you’d be going to the library a lot. Of course Daniel fought you on wanting to come, he missed you too, but he gave up and agreed with you after some convincing.
That conversation took place on Monday and it was now Thursday afternoon and Daniel would be arriving back home soon and had told you he’d let you know when he landed and got home. You were excited for him to finally be home, you knew he missed his family like crazy, hell, you even missed them, but you talk to Anna and Christian almost as much as you talk to Daniel. Anna had actually told you that you should fly out to surprise Daniel since he was upset he couldn’t come see you, but you told her the same thing you told Daniel. Just then, Daniel was calling you.
“Hello?” “Hi babe!” “Are you home? How was the flight?” “Just got my bags and I’m heading to the car. I miss you,” Daniel said in a quiet voice, clearly sad that he wasn’t going to see you. “I miss you too, Dani, but I’m almost done the year, and your tour is almost over and then we can see each other as much as we want.” “Yeah that’s true, I just wish it hadn’t been so long,” he spoke still a little upset. “Well the wait is almost over, so don’t be too sad,” you told him trying to perk up his mood, “and plus now you’re home and get to see your parents and Anna! She told me she’s so excited for this weekend with you!” “Yeah, Tyler and I missed her like crazy, and Christian too, but we don’t get to see him yet either. Oh there’s my car, I’ll call you back when I’m home. I love you Y/N.” “Love you too Daniel, bye.”
When you hung up, you got back to studying. You were actually studying at home today since you figured you’d be talking to Daniel quite a bit and didn’t want to be a disturbance in the library. You and your three friends/housemates were all at the kitchen table working together in silence, occasionally stopping to talk or watch an episode of The Office. Once it was 5 o’clock you said you’d make pasta for the four of you while they continued studying with The Office low in the background. As the water was boiling, Daniel called you again.
You answered, “hey!” “Hello, I am now home.” You laughed at his phrasing and the way he said that, “good, how is ever-” Then the doorbell rang, and you called to your friends, “hold on Daniel. Can one of you get that? I’m cooking and on the phone.” Then you heard one of your friends get up to answer the door. “Sorry Dani, what was I saying? Oh, how is everyone?” Then from the front door you heard a small yell or gasp and your two other friends run to the door, “guys! I’m on the phone,” you yelled to them, “who could possibly be at the door?” You stayed at the stove, now pouring the pasta in the water. “I’m so sorry Daniel,” you said laughing. “No it’s fine don’t worry,” he said, now sounding very clear, then he cleared his throat and you turned around.
There he was, standing in the opening of your kitchen. You put your phone down on the counter and went to hug him. He picked you up slightly and swung you. “What are you doing here,” you asked him once you both released from the hug. “I just really missed you. And don’t worry I won’t bother you or stop your studying, but I just really wanted to be with you,” he said shyly but with a smile on his face. That made your heart race, “I love you,” you told him. “I love you too. Oh there’s another surprise.” You looked at him questioningly, and then Anna appeared in the kitchen. “Anna! What are you doing here?!” “I wanted to come with Daniel. So I flew to their show last night and we came together!” You two were now holding each other tight. “Hey, I missed her more,” Daniel spoke up. You and Anna laughed and let go of each other so you could go hug Daniel again, a big smile on his face. “And before you say anything about both of us coming, I texted Y/F/N, she just wasn’t the one who answered the door,” Daniel told you, knowing exactly what was going through your mind. Then you remembered, “THE PASTA!”
You could hear your friends laughing from the table, “thanks for the help,” you said back to them also laughing now. “Aw, I wanted to take you all out for dinner since I know it’s a stressful time,” Daniel told you as he came to hug you from behind. You turned and held his arms and kissed him, “that’s sweet babe. Maybe tomorrow night then, exams haven’t started yet but none of us have class either so we’ll study during the day so we can go out.” “Fine, I guess that’s okay,” Daniel responded, and you laughed. Anna was at the table looking at your notes, “holy shit Y/N, that’s so many pages, how the hell is there so much,” she looked shocked at all the work you’ve done. “I really couldn’t tell you Anna, it’s absolute hell though.”
While you were cooking Daniel and Anna made themselves comfortable on the couch and were watching The Office while your friends were distracted and were talking to Anna and Daniel. Every so often Daniel, Anna or Y/F/N would come and ask if you needed help, and you said no every time. That didn’t stop Daniel from leaving the kitchen though. Every time he came in, he’d sit on the counter watching as you cooked the pasta and sauce while the two of you just talked, a common conversation being about the rest of the boys and tour. “You know they begged me to let them come? They complained that I let Anna come and not them,” Daniel was telling you as he imitated each of them when they said it wasn’t fair. “It would’ve been chaos in the house if they came, there’d be more of you than people that lived in the house.” “That’s what I told them!” You both laughed, “I really missed you, you know,” Daniel said to you as he got off the counter and held your hand. You smiled up at him, “I know, I missed you too, so much.” You kissed him, and he smiled at you, “I’m glad you ended up coming,” you confessed. “I knew you would be,” he told you and he faked flipping his hair. You laughed and hit his chest lightly as you yelled for the other four girls who were now chatting about something “dinner’s ready!”

1-800-237-8522||Daniel Seavey||Imagine 5♡
Summary: You finally realize you aren’t alone
Words:1310
Warnings: Mentions of Depression, Anxiety and suicide.Yes they are strong topics but if no one talks about it than we just pretend they aren't real and thats something I refuse to stand by and do.
Requested: No
A/n:If you didn't watch the VMAs or you haven't seen logics performance or speech please watch this, it is so powerful
Taken from my Imagine book on wattpad, More people need to understand that they aren’t alone♡
This wasn't your first time at the VMA's as "Y/n" The youtuber with just close to 11 million subscribers but it was your first time going as Daniel Seaveys girlfriend and nothing felt more amazing that standing off to the side while he and the boys had their first VMA interview.
They had blown up in the last 11 months and you couldn't have been more proud of them, besides Daniel those four boys were your best friends and just seeing all that they are doing was so amazing.
You and Daniel were living the life right now, watching people you two blasted through the car speakers now perform live gave you such a rush.
"I think Logic is performing next" Daniel whispered in your ear over the loud music. You had actually met Logic a few times when you were working on a black lives matter campaign and the woman's rights movements, he was such an amazing and down to earth person and he happened to be on of your favourite musicians so your face lit up when Daniel said that.
You two always had a running joke, that no boy could ever steal you away from Daniel but Logic and he was married so that was out of the question, of course you never meant that, you wouldn't leave Daniel for the world but you always found it funny when Danny got jealous.
"Every so often a rare and important song in video comes along and let us know how true that is. The moving piece of film and music that is the video for "1-800-273-8255' brought me to tears. The truth is pricing and the truth is what matters and the truth is that no one is alone. It takes great courage to show the venerable side of being a human and we all have that side. Whatever you are going through no matter how dark it may seem there is an undeniable truth and strength in the fact that you are not alone. We all have struggles and as long as you don't give up on yourself light will break through the darkness. The national suicide prevention lifeline is available to you 24/7 if you are in crisis or concerned about somebody who might be.Just dial 1-800-273-8255" Kesha spoke(It took me 10 minutes to look watch a youtube video and type what she spoke but I love it), Your heart started to beat a little faster and that's when Daniel took your hand in his and squeezed it tight, knowing that at some point your tears would fall.
Suddenly the beautiful violins started playing causing your heart to melt, you were already loving every second of it and it had only just started.
Then Logics voice started, singing the words that had made your heart feel heavy as memories flooded back to you.
"I don't wanna be alive, I don't wanna be Alive"
You yourself were a suicide attempt surviver, and when you had heard this new song on his album you started sobbing and now seeing it live was even more powerful than the music video.
But the tears didn't fall down your face until lights fell on people standing around the stage in shirts with the number on the front and 'you are not alone" on the back. All of them being suicide attempt servers as well, you couldn't help but stand up with many others and stand there in shock as Khalid had started singing on the middle of the stage as more people in those shirts stood behind the three musicians.
"I just want to thank you all so much for giving me a platform to talk about something main stream media doesn't want to talk about : mental health, anxiety, suicide, depression and so much more that I talk about on this album,From racism, discrimination, sexism, domestic violence, sexual assault, and so much more; I don't give a damn if you are black, white, or any color in between. I don't care if you're Christian, you're Muslim, you're gay, you're straight, I am here to fight for your equality. Because I believe that we are all born equal, but we are not treated equally and that is why we must fight. We must fight for the equality of every man, woman, and child regardless of race, religion, color, creed, and sexual orientation. So I say here and now if you believe in of peace, love, positivity, and equality for all then I demand that you rise to your feet and applaud not only for yourselves but for the foundation we are laying for our children" Logic had said ending the song. By now the boys and everybody else in the stadium were on their feet, most with tears in their eyes and everybody clapping.
This night, more than every other night had shown you that you weren't alone, and that you still aren't. That although you had gotten better since the attempt that your mental health wasn't something to be taken lightly, no ones was.
It also made you want to talk about it more, maybe if someone heard your story they would feel more comfortable telling theirs.
Logics performance had moved you in ways you couldn't begin to explain and Daniel never once left your side.
____
If you don't talk about things; they won't get better. But ending your life is never a solution to a problem, and I hope that everyone reading this book, anyone who struggles with anything, anyone that deals with something they feel that can't handle will call this number, or the number for your country and you will get the help you need. I love you all and I support every single one of you, but please never be afraid to pick up the phone and call that number.
If you ever want someone to talk to,weather you've had a bad day and your feeling down or you are feeling lonely or you just want an idiot to pass time with, MY MESSAGES ARE ALWAYS OPEN.
I will not be offended if you ask me personal things, I will go out of my way to help you or try to find you help, and I will do my absolute best to make that smile go across your face.
You are all so strong and amazing and talented, you are gonna kick ass in life and I know that, but you've come this far and Im so proud of you. Please never make the choice to make today your last day.
I couldn't think of a better way than to tell each reader that they aren't alone. I want to thank each and every one of you for coming back, with every update and going to check my books out when I tell you I've written a new one 10000 times.
Before I started writing this book I was in a horrible place, and a large part of me still is, I struggle daily, sometimes worse than the last day, but writing this book, seeing all the positive comments, feeling like I belong somewhere has made a huge difference to me and I can't thank you enough for this.
To every single person who was commented, voted, even read half of one chapter, thank you. You've all changed my life in ways y'all won't ever understand and I hope that some how or some way I change yours.
Loving you with all of my heart.
