Ngl, when celebs show their support to the politicians by saying "this is my old friend X, vote for them," I immediately become suspicious if it's just a ploy. But it seems that the Ackles are actually friends with the Klebergs: they hung out together at Out Youth's Gala 2019, and Chrissy Kleberg is in some of their Mardi Grass videos of 2020. I think it speaks well about them.

I don’t know if I’m just jaded or not, but I always get suspicious when celebrities advocate for someone. In this case though, it seems genuine since they’ve known the guy for a while. If it was just some dude Jensen wanted to sponsor because he got paid to or asked to, that’s a different story.

I think it’s all about intention when it comes to advocating things and people!
