favorite color: dark red, dark green, dark blue (dark enough that they softly light up a scenery when its otherwise pitch black)

last book: just finished mister impossible by maggie stiefvater :D now i can continue with the following book that i luckily was able to borrow :)

last film: i genuinely have no idea, it might even have been the latest tatort dortmund episode

last tv show: finished ささやくように恋を唄う recently (they aired the missing episodes around the end of the year) and now i struggle to start with some anime from this season i want to look into ^^

sweet/savory/spicy: everything in moderation. :D

relationship status: interesting ^^

last thing i googled: a local bus station in a neighbouring town

current obsession: slowly getting into the mood to actively continue to create stuff on our mc server (which is a shame bc virtually everyone on that server is inactive :/)

@chrisoels tagged me to list 9 of my favourite shows, that was fun – thank you 💛 Here they are in no particular order:

1. Buffy The Vampire Slayer. To me, it’s perfect. I got my handle from it. I watched it with a dedicated group back in the days and alone and still have some merch and some research literature lying around though the poster of the musical episode is gone.

2. Superstore. It’s funny until it isn’t. Not a weak season and a perfect ending. I’m invested in all the characters. Binged it through the pandemic.

3. Derry Girls. Pure 90s nostalgia and Sister Michael. And Michelle. And the wee lesbian.

4. Orange Is The New Black. So many women, so queer right from the start. Didn’t like every season or every development and Piper and Alex are a toxic mess. But still, I’m in love with them.

5. Mord mit Aussicht. Not where I grew up but a bit like where I grew up. The quirks of rural life.

6. Popular. Ryan Murphy’s (I think) first endeavor. Before Glee and all. Weird, funny and short-lived. It gave fanfiction the wonderful pairing of Brooke and Sam. (Fun fact: One fan story features a queer bar in a small greek village that I thought was entirely fictional until I danced years later in said village and said bar and recognized the name and the place.)

7. Golden Girls. I totally credit Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia for some of my skills in maintaining friendships and living together.

8. Grace and Frankie. Another smart and warm hearted show about friendship and family (and getting older).

9. Tatort. Because of Tatort Hamburg and Julia Grosz. (And Falke. And me getting back into writing and getting to know lovely folks along the way.)

I started playing a new piece on the guitar the day before yesterday and today one of the changes in äh... greifen. (What is that in English? You press down the string in one place and than in another) already worked better than yesterday.

Ein Vorteil davon, in einer sehr kulturellen Großstadt zu leben: man bekommt jede Menge Gelegenheiten, seine Tatort-Blorbos life on Stage zu sehen ^^ Im November war ich mit @chrisoels bei einer wundervollen Lesung mit Udo Wachtveitl, im Dezember bei einer sehr witzigen Lesung mit Axel Prahl und Jan Josef Liefers und heute bei einer bitterbösen Komödie mit Dominic Raacke.

Nächste Woche bin ich dann bei einem Konzertabend von Miroslav Nemec und im Februar bei einer Lesung mit Harald Krassnitzer. ^^

Am kommenden Freitag seh ich noch ein Theaterstück von und mit einem Darsteller aus "München 7" (Winfried Frey) und demnächst eine Lesung mit Kommissar Rex' Herrchen Tobias Moretti ^^

why did you decide to join tumblr?

Well, I had been writing for various fandoms for 7 years and occasionally checking tags on tumblr and I finally gave in, is the short answer. And now i'm pretty sure this is a 'you can log out any time you want/ but you can never leave' type of situation :))

favorite color: recently it's yellow💛💛💛 Juicy mango type of yellow the most. Often combined with black and white because I enjoy looking like an oriole:

last movie: Mask (1994) (and maaan how I never suspected I would look at Stanley Ipkiss as a relateable character when I grow older...😅)

currently reading: Romans na receptę - another one of few books by Monika Szwaja that my mum borrowed in our local library. I like her style and it breaks my heart that she died being only 65🥺 There's always so much hope and friendliness and support in the world that she's depicting. And, fascinating enough, there's usually AroAllo woman representation somewhere and depicted in the positive way! Of course it is not called "aromantic" by a polish writer born in 1949, more likely for the main male character to call that "AroAllo" woman character a "robot" who "uses him as as a sex toy"🤭 - BUT nevertheless even the male protagonist really likes her, appreciates her skills as loyal assistant, treats her as good friend to confess his problems to and genuinely wishes her all the luck!👍 In other books you can expect other queers occasionally too (like a teenage son who turns out to have a boyfriend), but it's always in sympathetic and realistic yet bringing-back-faith-in-humanity kind of way🫠

currently watching: umm... nothing actually (I feel like a weirdo😑 Like maybe I should start watching sth finally just so I could fill in the meme next time around? I do have a lot of series on my "to watch list")

currently craving: MANAGE TO GET SHIT DONE!💪 seriously I need either only 2 working days a week instead of 3 or... better time organisation😩 (so what that I have 4 "free" days a week now when there are emails to answer and books to read, and my pictures to make into album, and family members to visit, and all the new pictures' ideas to draw, and new tumblr posts to create, and those fic-WIPs waiting for so long already, and... I wonder if scheduling everything in precize days and hours would help me to feel more organised somehow?🤔 or only feel more remourse for not being able to follow the schedule?😑)

as i mostly listen to my usual playlists and also have nothing like any statistic on what i listened to most in a year ill just give some albums i think i listened to quite much over the last year. no guarantee of any validity of this list :D
