By Cassie Goymer I've tossed and turned all night as this day is here again. The day we heard the words "your baby has a malignant tumour". 9 years has passed since my precious baby lay in our arms and we were told at 15 weeks she had stage 1 cancer. This year has reminded us of those times. How precious our family and friends are and how much we depend on others to keep us going. But it has reminded us how much people depend on charities. All charities. As we watch them struggle to raise the funds to help families in need. It reminds us how lucky we are to be together and how heart broken we are for are ward 4 angels who have been in the forefront of our minds. I couldn't imagine doing this year with a child on chemo. So a massive shout out today today to Chris lucas Trust and Lynn Lucas her husband and her team for helping to secure our babies futures. To our NHS nurses and doctors who become family and see you more than their own because of their dedication to their roles. Cancer effects all lives at all ages and parts of the family. But I will never take for granted how lucky we are and how our lives have moved forward and how PROUD I am of philippa and all our cancer warriors.
