The series with Seattle looks bad if you’re just looking at box scores but:

Max Fried carried a no hitter into the 6th inning with a season high 7 strikeouts (FIVE DAYS AFTER THROWING A COMPLETE GAME IN 92 PITCHES.)

Reynaldo Lopez continues to go out there and SHOVE since he was called on to step into the #2 role after losing Spencer for the season.

And the pitcher everyone mocked us for signing this off season (Chris Sale) just casually followed up what we all thought was his best performance of 2024 so far by having his best performance of 2024 so far.

Bats need to wake up, especially in LA, but our starters are cooking right now. And i’ll take that every day (and twice on Sundays.)

For the 2023 Red Sox, he made three starts with McGuire and all his other 17 with Connor Wong, including his most impressive outings that year.

(Sale would give up a double which kind of feel inevitable when your opponent was the sole guy who caught you and told you what to pitch)
