Joy, toontown be upon ye!!

So starting off, we have my designs for the C.F.O and the S.V.P because i was inspired by some designs on tumblr and decided to do my own crack at it!!

Next is my oc, Cherry Pop, who originally started off as just a Really Tall Toon and then I was like "...hey what if they were a cog" and then it morphed into "they're the head of Robot Resources"!! I have lots ideas that im probably gonna put into another post!! also ignore the fact that it says "antelope" i forgot the word jackalope and never went back to fix it

Next up is a doodle sheet of some of my designs for the managers (i want to eventually ink and color this but for now all you get is messy sketches)!! I have the idea that essentially, after awhile, they replaced just the suits being a part of the body with clothing so that (a) it would be harder for toons to infiltrate and (b) repair costs would go down because the price of fabric is a lot less then the price of metal. So, you have someone like Derrick Man, who is an older model who hasn't transitioned over to the newer model so his suit is a part of him, and then you have someone like Misty, who has transffered over into the clothing style!! I have a lot of headcanons about these guys so 👀👀. also high roller is there because i like to think that he's a seperate person who just pretends to be a fusion for the bit because they think it's funny.

And the final two are just shitposts I decided to make about how down bad Cherry Pop is for the C.F.O and also about my mental state leading up to April.

rambling about chris and craig let's fucking gooo

just as a general warning: i'm gonna discuss a fair amount of transphobia, because it HEAVILY ties into why both of them got divorced in the first place so just letting you know right out the gate!! also there's mentions of domestic abuse just as a warning!!

anyway let's go!!

so with Chris, ironically enough, it's pretty straightforward: he realized that he was a trans man while married to a guy and the guy was like "um. no you're not a man you're my wife" and so Chris was like "oh okay then! ...if i'm not your husband i'm not your wife either bye~!" and so ended up divorcing him.

and he still has a fair amount of issues lingering from that divorce, most pressingly the fact that he is super paranoid about people finding out that he's a trans man because he's convinced that if other people end up finding out about it, that they'll think that he's not qualified for his job or worse, ask for him to be removed from his position as C.F.O

Craig on the other hand, is a little more complicated. Because even before he realized that he was a man, he was in a loveless marriage of convenience where his husband thought that he could do anything because "well you're my wife and you should do everything that i want you to do".

This was made worse when they manufactured a child together, who his husband didn't even want to name because "there's no point naming a female child", leading Craig to essentially name and raise the child, Alice, alone.

And everything reached it's boiling point when he realized that he was a man, and realized that he and his daughter could not be safe with his husband around, due to the domestic abuse as well as the attitude of "you're my wife, and it's a delusion that you're anything else". so, he ended up not only divorcing him but ended up filing a restraining order that covered both the safety of him and Alice.

The aftermath was very bad; with a lot of paranoia being built up of his ex suddenly coming back and hurting Alice, mixed with a healthy (/s) dose of him gaslighting himself about whether or not he was actually in the right for divorcing him. There was some other things, such as when the abuse from his husband started, he ended up forming a new alter, Ellen, to help make sure that their daughter stayed as oblivious to the abuse/domestic issues between her parents as they could.

And now this leads to Chris and Craig's situationship.

What happens when you have two suits who have severe trust issues and have emotional attachment issues because of previous marriages that ended in disaster?

Well, you have a lot of denial of them even having feelings for each other, saying that it's just because they're good business partners, a lot of expecting the other shoe to drop whenever the other does something remotely nice to each other, and a fair share of pretending that the intimate moments between them don't mean anything.

Eventually, yeah, they do end up figuring out how to properly tell how the fuck their relationship is going, but it does take a good chunk of time.
